The trials of madness' child
Chapter 1
Izuku Midoriya was never a normal child by any means born to Inko Midoriya and an unknown father in the town of Musutafu Japan in the year 20XX. His life could be seen for all intents and purposes as normal that was until the age of three where he was diagnosed with not only dyslexia but also ADHD, but his life quickly went downhill just a few months later when he was diagnosed as quirkless. It wouldn't be hard to say that he was abandoned by all those he knew except for two key figures in his life. One was his mother a kind woman that spent as much time with her son as possible the other was an odd homeless man with dark purple eyes of which he partially shares in common with Izuku as he has a purple left eye and a green right eye. The homeless man in question always seemed to be there when Izuku needed him much to the annoyance of Katsuki Bakugo once childhood best friend turned bully of Izuku.
6 Years later
Today was a special day for Izuku as today his school would be going on a school trip to the hero agency of his favorite hero, the number one hero All Might his agency was located in Tokyo and was known as Might tower it was a shining beacon for all to see just like all might. However today would not as plan as for a villain saw an opportunity, there was a terrorist attack the upper floors were destroyed with Izuku's class inside them inside the building a group of five figures huddled to gather shaking in fear these five children were Izuku Midoriya and his bullies who had dragged Izuku off for one of their annual beatings given to him now his 'friend was around to protect him' as Bakugo put it but that all changed when the sound of all to familiar explosions reached their ears but this time not originating from their ashen blond friend. The building shook walls and chunks of the ceiling collapsed around them while all of them shacked a certain heterochromatic boy noticed an escape he quickly ran over to the small pieces of rubble blocking the way struggling to move them but after struggling he managed to create a way for them to escape he quickly pushed his bullies out of exit he had formed. As they began to run to safety the ashen blonde questioned Izuku "why are you helping us Deku?" but before the greenete could respond the ceiling buckled under the pressure of the destroyed floors above and fell. Threatening to fall upon the explosive blonde the greenete moved without thinking and pushed the blonde out of the way but blocking the greenete in, as all the others escaped there is one 10 year old Izuku passed out surrounded by rubble unaware to all a familiar homeless man appeared with a tearful gaze saying "ancient laws be damned by son shall not die here. I am willing to have whatever punishment is needed but my son will not die in this world that doesn't care for people like him." With the last of his words spoken he and Izuku seemed to vanish in thin air leaving to sent of grapes for no-one to notice.
In a familiar city a boy woke up startled by the last things he remembered but as he looked around he did not see the familiar sight of his room nor the porcelain white of the hospital but the sight of a barren room with only a bed and a table with a letter resting upon it. Izuku tentatively picked up and opened the letter reading it contained "Dear my son I know you must be scared waking up in a foreign place all alone but you should know you are not in the world you once knew this is the world I am from and your heritage is contained although you don't see me know that I am here and that you are greatly loved but I have bad news you must hear although your were brought here I was unable to bring your mother here do not mistake this as I do not love you or her as both of you are some of the most important things in my life I have already put you in a school but you will not be able to speak the same language as them as you now will live in new York in America as this is the safest place for you the school you are enrolled in is known as Yancy academy love your father P.S you may want to study mythology when you understand English enough." As Izuku read through the letter his apparent father had written to him he began to weep after the realization he may not see anyone he once knew or cared for by it his mother or his old friend turned bully Katsuki Bakugo no matter how much he may want to say goodbye to them he would not be able to.
Two years later
It had been two years since Izuku had been pulled into a world without quirks it was hard for him to adjust to the idea that everyone was just as powerless as he was but the hardest thing for Izuku Midoriya to learn was the English language made even harder by his dyslexia although it had been two years he still had trouble speaking it as he had learned how to read it with minimal problems however due to his inability to speak English and his odd hair and eye colour he was unable to make any friends that was until his new roommates Percy Jackson a boy with black hair and sea green eyes and Grover Underwood a boy who had a muscle degenerative disorder in his legs so he needed to use crutches had joined this school year they were quick to befriend him after catching local bully Nancy Bobofit picking on him for his inability to speak English properly and his green hair and ever since the three have been inseparable.
Ever since the incident at might tower Izuku has always felt anxious whenever he went on school trips not going unnoticed to his friends when ever they questioned him about it he simply responded with "last time didn't go so well" not that Percy couldn't share the sentiment as every trip he went on he ended up getting expelled soon after. On the bus ride over Nancy was intent on causing Percy to act up as due to a recent incident he was now on probation and another incident would result in him being expelled. Nancy was throwing pieces of a peanut butter sandwich at their disabled friend Grover to annoy Percy. As they exited the bus their Latin teacher Mr. Brunner led them into the museum, he began to explain the Lethe for a young girl about their age but with Nancy talking over Mr. Brunner to the annoyance of Percy until he snapped and said "won't you shut up" but it wasn't until he said it he realized he said it louder than he intended "Anything to add Mr. Jackson" "anything to add Mr. Jackson" Mr. Brunner asked much to the embarrassment of Percy "N-No sir" Percy stated with a snicker from Nancy "would you like to explain what this tablet shows us then" Mr. Brunner asked "Its Krono's eating his kids right" "correct but why did he do so" "it's because the gods." "gods?" Mr. Brunner interrupted Percy "Titans were scared that the Gods would overthrow them but Zeus' mother replaced him with rocks and when he grew up, he poisoned him and made him throw up his brothers and sisters." "eww" some of the girls in class commented "like we would ever need this." Nancy Bobofit whispered but not quietly enough evidently due to Mr. Brunner asking "as to answer Ms. Bobofit why do you think we need mythology Mr. Midoriya, Mr. Jackson." "I don't know sir." Percy answered, "to learn from the Incidents." Izuku answered " you are half correct Mr. Midoriya and I am pleased to see you are improving on your speaking half points for both Mr. Jackson and Midoriya."
