Hello, to all that decided to click on my story. Now, be warned, my uploading schedule is definitely gonna be inconsistent, but I'll try my best. Also, there is a reason why there are question marks. Anyways, let's get to it.

Prologue

?; age ?

Two figures, surrounded in darkness, rush across the field. One of them is carrying a sphere, a sphere that clearly emanates the crying of a child. The two figures then stop and look around, and the figures put the sphere down gently. The two figures set the pod to go far, as far as it can go, and say their goodbyes.

And with that the pod flies off, with the inhabitant being gassed to sleep. Unbeknownst to the little passenger, the pod slows down, as it is seemingly consumed into darkness.

Lumber woods; age 840

Danver sighs to himself, as he walks back to his house. It had been a looong day. His mind hurt from all the paperwork, the double checking everything, ect. And the most exciting thing he did today was check the scrolls. Where nothing happened. It was a drab and boring day, as usual.

He then sighs again. Well, it's not like he's ungrateful or anything. He just wishes for more. Sure, he was keeping time (and to that extent reality) safe and secure, but that really didn't fill him. He just wanted to do something, get something unexpected, something to shake up his day.

Unfortunately, he knew that he would never get it.

Suddenly, he realized that there was an odor in the air. As if something was burning.

"I'm guessing it's smoke." Danver commented, deciding to slowly approach the direction where he smelled the scent. "Weird, though. The alarm or signal didn't go off, and I haven't been alerted or heard a report about a pod being stolen or something."

Suddenly, he came through to a clearing, to a mini crater. He peered inside and saw a pod in the mini crater. It seemed to be fine, but that's not what caught Danver's attention.

"This is an extremely old model. What's it doing here?" he said, coming down to take a closer look. Suddenly, the door started to come down. In response to this, Danver put his left arm down and his right arm close to him. The door, once it fully came down, suddenly started to spray gas. Danver decided to backflip out of the crater, while the gas spread.

Then, once the gas settled, he could hear some rustling. Danver slowly peaked his head over the crater, and what he saw puzzled him. It was a child. That was crying. With armor (also an older model). And a tail.

Danver hopped back into the crater, with his eyebrows scrunched

It's not that he was surprised at the existence of a saiyan (the Time Patrol had found a lot of pure and hybrid saiyans over the years). He was simply confused by the old outfit, the old pod model, and the child which looked to be no more than three. More importantly, where did it come from? Why was it here?

Danver then walked over and picked up the child. The child, in response to this, had stopped crying.

"Well, whatever. I'll just find your parents tomorrow." he said, jumping out of the crater and walking back home. "Do you even have a name?" he asked, looking at him. The child simply stared at him, with his head cocked.

Danver turned his head back up. "I'm just going to assume that's a no." he said, as he reached the wooden house. He then pushed open the door, and then turned his head back to the child. "But remember: this is temporary. We are going to find your parents, and you are not staying with me. You got that?"

The child just looked blankly at Danver, and then hugged him.

Danver looked up, and said to himself "Please have parents that just lost you accidentally and love you." as he walked into his house.

Unbeknownst to him, that child wasn't only going to stay there for one night.
