Hello again, everyone. Once again, I ask that you may leave reviews about my writings, I would appreciate constructive criticism. And speaking of reviews, to my first one (if you're reading this) talking about the numerous saiyan main characters, don't worry, a lot the next characters I plan on adding are all of different races. Meaning humans, Frost Demons/Frieza race, Namekians, ect. so hopefully that puts you at ease. That wraps up everything I needed to say, so without further ado, let's start the chapter.

Chapter 6

Not too long after Ramble had exited the portal, Racket had also stepped out into Conton City. She looked around a bit, trying to see if she could see Ramble, but all she could see was an endless wave of heads.

She sighed to herself, as she made her way down the stairs. She thought to herself. Who was that guy anyways? Never seen him in the Time Patrol before. He said his name was "Ramble" or something.

She scoffed to herself. "What kind of parents name their kid Ramble?" she muttered to herself. "It's not even a saiyan name."

She took her mind off of that subject. She then wondered about how she got mind controlled. Who or what could just breach her defenses like that? It's not like time patrollers such as herself were chosen willy nilly. They were put through rigorous tests and training, making sure that the people who wanted to be a time patroller deserved to be one.

They took up an oath. An oath that they themselves would not try to alter time in any way intentionally. An oath that if broken, they would have to face severe consequences. Thankfully, that oath has not been broken since its creation, as the tests have been proved to be efficient, time and time again.

She then shuddered, remembering how she had to cram in order to ensure she would pass those tests. There were a lot of things that she had needed to study. After that test, she proceeded to sleep for an entire day, only having been woken up by the angry call of her stomach.

Suddenly, as she had that thought, she tripped on someone's tail, and fell down 12 to 13 stairs before she fell onto the ground floor. As she got up, a hand was offered to her by someone.

"Hey, you okay?" the owner of that hand asked.

Racket then glared at the person's hand and slapped it away and said, "Leave me alone, I'm fine."

The man, rubbing his hands, responded "Okay, just wanted to help you, it looked like a big fall."

Racket simply walked away, not bothering to look back at the man.

"Okay, well then screw you! Jeez, some people these days…" the man said as he continued on with his day.

A little time later…

Racket walked along Tanem street, hands in her sweater that she capsuled out.

She had her hood over her head and was wearing a mask, making sure that her identity was obscured. She kept her head down as she walked on the sidewalk, making sure that she didn't trip again. At the same time though, she was still thinking. Thinking about what the old man said.

"I don't need him," she thought to herself. "I'm fine with what I have. Better, even."

She then noticed a group of people walking together. They moved haphazardly, knocking over a trash can. But they were also laughing and smiling, not having a care in this place that is their world.

Racket pursed her lips, and right as she looked back on track, she realized she made it to her destination.

In front of Racket was a gate with multiple keypads, a hand scanner, and an eye scanner. The gate itself was simply for show, as the real protection was the invisible forcefield that surrounded the house that was behind the gates.

Racket proceeded to punch in all the codes, put her hand on the hand scanner, and put her eye up against the eye scanner. An audible "WELCOME HOME MISTRESS" generated from the gate, as the gates swung open. Racket then continued her walk, the concrete road shifting into a smooth, shiny pathway that was surrounded by grass that emitted a mint smell, all of it equally trimmed.

Racket sighed to herself, as it had been one helluva day so far. It went from being called in to fill in for someone's shift into getting herself mind controlled and causing a time distortion, then getting saved by that guy.

"You know what, I'm just going to take a nap…" she thought to herself, as she approached the booth behind the field.

She then heard an angry call coming from her midsection. "Well, after I eat something, I guess."

As she finally arrived, a namekian wearing a tuxedo popped up at the counter, with a keycard in one hand and a golden key in the other hand.

"Ah, back so soon, Mistress?" The namekian asked.

"Got sent home early, Totem." Racket replied, as Totem swiped the keycard and inserted the key in order to let Rackey in.

"Well, regardless, welcome home Mistress." Totem stated, as the section of the forcefield in front of Racket formed into a gateway.

"Yeah, yeah." Racket replied, as she walked through the entryway and continued on her path, with Totem coming out of the booth and following her.

A little later…

As Racket arrived at the door, Totem went ahead and opened the door for her, gesturing to her to come in, which she did. Inside, she was greeted with three different arches, all leading to different sections of the house, and spiral stairs on her left and her right, leading up to the second, third, and fourth floors.

She proceeded to go through the arch in front of her, which led to the kitchen. The kitchen consisted of multiple stoves, sinks, a number of shelves, five walk-in fridges and freezers, all of them packed like sardines with food, a table that's length would put a king's table to shame, and a wall of knives, each differing in the smallest sizes and designs. She proceeded to go into one of the fridges, an assortment of foods presented to her, each of them enough to feed an army. She walked far down, and found what she was looking for, and proceeded to walk out with a glob of meat that was 8 feet tall, 4 feet wide, and 6 feet long.

She then put it down on the kitchen counter, and as soon as she did, Totem went to work, cutting the meat with quickness and accuracy, grabbing all sorts of sauces, and preheating all of the ovens.

As Totem did his magic, Racke walked over to the table and plopped down, closing her eyes and letting a sigh come out. Today was a confusing day so far, and she didn't want to deal with it. She then heard the sound of the door opening, causing her to slightly open her eyes. Racket's father then came through the arch, seemingly looking for something.

"Hey dad, how are-" before Racket could finish her sentence, her father found what he needed, then immediately left again.

Racket sighed before finishing her sentence "You." she asked, as she heard the rolling of car wheels fade away.

Her eyes then trailed to a picture. A picture of her, when she was a baby, with her father holding her and a woman peering over her father's shoulder. She then thought about those times that seemed to be a century ago. The times when she was still a child. Before she started her path, her path to strength. Then, something in the back of her mind had turned on. She realized that Ramble had bested her. He had beaten her. She realized that he was probably training right for this instance!

And so, something had been turned on in the mind of Time Patroller Racket. She realized that a nap could come later. Actually, screw that. Forget a nap. Her day was scheduled for a long day of training. And the thing about Racket was she wasn't a slacker. And she wasn't about to become one now. She'll become stronger, and then she'll beat-

"Done, Mistress." Totem stated, as he plopped a steak that would make a 5-starred restaurant have lousy meals.

"Huh? Oh, thanks, Totem." Racket replied, as she dug in.

"You are going to be training, yes?" asked Totem, which caused Racket to pause her devouring.

"Yeah." she replied, her mouth jam packed with meat.

"May I ask how long?" He asked.

"Well," Racket said before swallowing all the food in her mouth. "Let's just say you'll gonna need a lot of help repairing the chamber." she stated, her muscles already starting to inflate with her ki.
