Cicero turned and judged Terra's mood before saying anything, "Oh yes, Cicero and the Listener! On the hunt!" He came skipping to Terra and swayed before her.

Terra sighed, "Yes." She looked him over and shook her head, "You need new gear, and half your stuff looks like a bear attacked you." She grabbed him by the wrist and dragged him to her weapon stash and armor. She pulled what she thought would work best for his style of killing. Tugging and shifting she handed him items.

Cicero took the stuff and began undressing in front of her.

"Oh ho, wait a second let me leave Cicero," Terra ran out of the room.

"Cicero sees nothing wrong with the Listener being in here as I change," Cicero commented as he changed, "It isn't anything that has been seen especially with the way that you kill… hehe."

"What is that suppose to mean? " Terra shouted from the door way.

"Just saying that there are those who are simple but you seem to be dedicated," Cicero said, "Finished."

Terra went back in and noticed he had not buckled some of the items incorrectly. She began adjusting the items making sure they didn't fall off or make any noises. If this job required stealth she didn't know what she would do with him.

"Ooh! Listener! That tickles!" Cicero began giggling.

"Oh stop, you were not buckled into your gear," Terra struggled not to get annoyed.

Suddenly he was near her ear, "You seem to be even more skilled in other areas… can you take it off as fast as you have put it together?"

Terra jumped and pulled away from him, he had spoken clear, no hint of the jester persona and the way he had spoke ran a quiver down her spine. She stared at him and the person who had spoken was only visible in Cicero's eyes for but a moment. The man had a fire behind those eyes and it made Terra nervous.

"Something the matter Listener?" Cicero was back to the other self.

Terra struggled with her voice a moment, "No, nothing is wrong. It was just a… I was stuck with an idea."

Cicero nodded and started dancing in place.

Terra was really mystified by Cicero. She shook her head to clear her mind of anything other than the mission. "This contract is different," Terra explained, "Why it would need both of us is making me curious."

Cicero just smiled at Terra and said nothing.

When they reached Solitude there was an eerie air encompassing the town. They were meeting at the inn, The Winking Skeever. Terra walked in calm. She was not dressed as her usual agent self so no one paid her any notice. Everyone did stare at the jester who walked behind her. Cicero stuck out like a sore thumb but this made it easier for Terra to seem like a figure not to mess with as the jester did appear unstable and was loyally following her.

The couple that made matters worse was sitting in a shadowy corner. The thing that made it really obvious was they were jumping at every sound made, the door opening also made things worse as they just stared at everyone who entered, and then they were just whispering to each other. Only a few mugs between them probably made the bartender suspicious.

"Children," Cicero chuckled shaking his head.

Terra shushed him and smiled gently at the bartender as she leaned over and ordered two mead mugs. She passed a gold coin and a paper to the man. He opened the note and nodded gently. Terra winked at him and handed a mug to Cicero.

Walking up to the couple made them shift carefully in their chairs. Now that Terra was up close she could see it was a woman and man sitting before her. She nodded gently at them and sat down without waiting for an invitation.

"Umm… are you the… uh…" The man was struggling with spitting the words out.

The woman still shaking took over the conversation, "You are the help that we asked for?"

Cicero giggled uncontrollably. He bobbed his head to the Bard's music in the Inn. He wasn't sitting; in fact, he stood of slightly off to the side of Terra.

"Well…" the man said low, "We have asked the Dark Brotherhood for help dealing with the infidelity of our partners. The fact is that my wife and her husband have been seeing each other for about two years now. It wasn't till recently that she has stopped being with me and now stays with my children…"

"I fear that my husband will run away with his wife and I will be unable to support my children and…" the woman started crying.

"Shh," Terra said and handed the woman a cloth to wipe her eyes.

"Of course, sorry," the woman mumbled taking the cloth.

"I read the book, I understand… we have managed some money between us to pay you for the act," the man looked as if he would be sick. "Once it is through we can give you more as with them dead…the family has to take care of her and my in laws have to help my children…"

Cicero raised an eyebrow, "no explanation is needed, just the target and where."
