Terra had just listened. She was going to say something, but because Cicero said it for her, she just nodded. The Dark Brotherhood to judge especially since they were assassins. It is no way that anyone who slaughtered others for profit.
"They are supposed to get together for the whole next two days," the woman whispered as she grabbed at the mug she had in front of her but she was shaking so much she kept missing it. "They came here to not be bothered by their families. "
"My wife has a family house here; we use it to get away for summers, but …" the man pushed a key before Terra. "It will only be the two days and that is the only time I think…"
Terra nodded taking the key and chugging the mead. She slammed the mug on the table and she strode out without looking back. They made it clear. The couple murdered there at the summer home and probably wanted the assassination to happen with them together.
Cicero danced and laughed making comments as Terra stalked the city trying all the different houses with the key. He was definitely causing her some grief. Suddenly one of the doors opened slowly. She stalled for a moment looking to make sure no one saw them and quickly ducked in.
"Cicero," Terra growled as he was humming as they walked in. "I need you to be silent, we will need to do this and get out of here. I don't like not studying the targets but with that short of time plus I figure they want the couple found together…"
"The bed would be fun," Cicero said taking off upstairs. "The Listener is too cautious at times. It is suppose to be fun!"
Terra ran after him scared that the couple was there.
Cicero was jumping on and off of the bed cackling in madness, "Kill, kill, kill."
Terra pulled him off swiftly and tried to slam him into the wall but soon discovered it was her against the wall. Cicero's face was close, "The Listener is great but not quite there yet, there is still much Cicero can teach her."
Terra blinked at him and showed no fear to him. "Clean up your mess, we will hid in that closet and wait to strike," Terra instructed the Keeper who hesitated a moment and shook his head surprised by how she reacted to him or the lack of reaction.
"I have a better plan," he slipped a dagger from his wrist and removed a bottle of purple liquid. He bathed the blade in the liquid. He went and unmade the whole bed; he slipped the dagger into the material of the mattress and secured so that it wasn't visible in the straw or the blankets that were placed over the spot.
Terra couldn't figure out what he was doing until he was done folding the blankets over, she couldn't even figure out how he got the dagger to stay up. She watched curious as his plan unfolded before her.
"Now when she is stabbed, he is left…" Cicero said pulling Terra into the closet. "Now we wait for them."
The time they waited was long, the infidelity couple did not return till late. The door shutting and the sounds of the couple running up stairs stirred Terra awake. She panicked as she realized she had dozed off. Cicero, who she had slept on, showed no signs of having issues with what had happened.
"Sorry," Terra whispered as they listened to the couple.
It wasn't long till they were in the throes of passion.
Terra was feeling really awkward with the situation. She was pressed against the jester and the sounds were enough for them to know what was happening. Her heart began racing and she could feel herself slightly enjoying the sneaking they were performing. She tried not to do anything that would cause problems and then a sudden smell wafted into her nostrils.
"Aww," Cicero let out a resonance of pleasure, "The blade has reacted to blood… that poison has such an amazing smell… it is ecstasy. "
Terra had shifted but soon felt Cicero shift against her.
"It is an aphrodisiac on some level," he whispered to her, "Cicero planned an interesting death for these two…they won't even realize. She will be dead soon…you can kill him when he notices…" the sound of bliss had entered Cicero's voice and Terra could feel him press against her. "It could be a waste to let the effects so Listener…"
Terra stiffened as she felt Cicero's hand brush against her. His other hand was rubbing against her waist.
"It wouldn't be so wrong…Listener and Keeper… if I couldn't be the Listener, why couldn't I just have the Listener for myself," Cicero was whispering in Terra's ear.
Terra tried hard to focus on the sounds of the couple. They were reaching their climax. She understood what Cicero had done. The poison must have been slow acting so that when they were at the height of their pleasure it would kill whoever was pricked would die because of the rushing of blood because of their heart beats quickening.
The sounds suddenly stop and the man whispered the woman's name. Terra took that instant as her queue to finish off the contract. She tore herself away from Cicero because he almost wouldn't let go and jumped out of the closet. Before the man could turn to see her actual face she jumped him. She slipped a cloth over his mouth and tugged so he couldn't yell.
Suddenly Cicero appeared and used his daggers.
Terra struggled to tear herself away from the gore that was happening before her eyes. The probably was the look that Cicero had was fear-provoking as the jester truly looked mad. His hands working quickly and the blood missing him as he continuously stabbed the man. She didn't let the cloth go until the man slumped down.
Unexpected, Terra was pulled by her hair back away from the body. She looked to Cicero who had a good chunk of her hair in his hand. He grinned wickedly and pushed her to the wall.
"I wasn't joking when I said I won't waste this," Cicero held her there and his mouth soon covered hers.
Terra was taken aback by the actions that were happening. His tongue soon forcing itself into her mouth, it moved with ferocity like it was attempting to take over her mouth. He licked across her teeth and soon twisted his tongue around hers.
Cicero went to pin both of Terra's hands with one of his and thought better of it. He looked her in the eyes, "This fool of hearts needs to be careful. You are like an artist creating a masterpiece… I do not wish to become one of your works of art." He let Terra go for the most part. He kept hold of her hand tight and dragged her out the window so that they could jump off the roof and leave.
