Terra laid breathless against the large wooden door in her room at the inn. Winterhold was the closest town to the tomb. The blizzards and snow creatures made traveling dangerous. The dragons made the traveling truly tricky, but Cicero made this quest deadly.

"Cicero, you truly are a fool," Terra's head fell into her hands as she tried to compose herself.

Farkas was sleeping on the bed. She couldn't leave him to Cicero's blood thirst. Farkas was simply a victim of her continually driven quest. She was watching him sleep. The soft snore slipped out slowly as his body worked the potion out of his system. She had drugged them while they drank. If he had smelled the potion he had not informed her but with her level of apothecary she figured he wouldn't have noticed.

The was a knock on the door.

Terra pulled herself up and slowly removed the slip lock and peeked out. "Yes?"

"Extra wood and blankets for the night love," the owner shoved them through the crack and smiled weakly as they scurried off.

Terra stared at the items crowding around her and threatening to fall out of her arms. She was in disarray, Cicero had been stalking them all day and she had managed to foil his attempts on Farkas's life. Between the knife throwing and the traps, she was curious how they managed to get to the inn alive. Cicero was an amazing assassin and the fact he still led the highest murder count by knife is a minor attempt at hinting to his skill.

She started going through each of the blankets, feeling through them, smelling, and tasting points to make sure he hadn't sabotaged the linen. After their last assassination, she wouldn't put anything past him. He was well rounded when it came to killing people, educated in ways that she couldn't even imagine. He was skilled and she gave that to him, but she was determined to get Farkas to the burial site.

Promises were not things she would break lightly. She promised Farkas she would help and she would.

Abstently, she sniffed and tasted even the wood to make sure they weren't sparked to explode with magic. Wood was not a flavor Terra was wanting in her mouth and now she wouldn't ever forget it. Spitting slowly she got up with all intention of throwing a log in the fire, but interrupted when shouts outside her door happened.

"Let me go, she is in here, my wife!" The voice was loud and demanding.

"Sir, please, the woman you described isn't her," the innkeeper was struggling to calm the agitated male voice.

"I know she is here," the voice was getting aggressive now, "do I need to get the guards involved?"

Terra moved to the door and peeked through the crack to see a well dressed man standing in the center of the inn with his hands raised shouting. No one was really giving him any attention. Most of the patronage was already drunk so all it did was give them entertainment.

Farkas shifted slowly in the bed and groggily raised his head. "What is with all the yelling?"

Terra shut the door quick and smiled, "affair being discovered, man wants the wife." She moved from the door and threw one of the extra blankets over Farkas to coax him back to sleep. As soon as the blanket was over him, Farkas closed his eyes and snuggled back to sleep. Saying a small prayer Terra decided to step out a moment, she had to go to the bathroom.

Walking out, Terra eyed the situation. She noticed that the Noble man was about her height, but what struck fear in her heart was the bright red hair. It was pulled back into a brushed and clean ponytail. Only one person has that hair and he was no Noble.

"Sir, I understand your trouble but our rooms don't have anyone's name associated to them, just money," the keeper said eyeing Terra.

She realized that Dagur was signaling her to get out quickly.

"I know she is here, the guards said she came with that dog…" Cicero's voice was venomous with hatred. "I mean what does he have that would make her take him as a partner."

"Sir, why not have a drink and a meal...we can work on finding her. I mean if the guards said she came in maybe she is here," Terra could hear Dagur get louder as to cover the sound of her going out.

Terra hurried to the bathroom and said quietly. She didn't think he would do this. Truth was Terra had no idea of how insane Cicero was but the fact he was going this far means he is a true danger. Farkas was in the room drugged asleep but she had to get back and get him out of there or leave him there to sleep and have a message sent to him for when he wakes up, but what is stopping Cicero from killing the message. Her legs were going numb and her butt was cold from sitting in the bathroom. This wasn't the plan for getting that man cured.

Terra heard the sound of wings flapping as she finished up. Washing her hands with snow allowed her to listen to the sound and where it was going. There was deep regret in her heart but now she had a plan and a way to gain strength too.
