Terra was lost at what would be best for everyone. Cicero was causing havoc and the poor innkeeper didn't deserve that. Farkas was drugged asleep and he sure as hell didn't deserve that. But to make it easier for her, she had tried to ignore the events and now everything was piled against her and she couldn't keep ignoring it.

Taking out a parchment, Terra wrote out instructions and a small map for Farkas, folding it in a way that would prevent prying eyes from viewing the contents, she then sealed it with a quick spell. Quickly, she calculated the cost of delivery and pulled the coins out for payment. On the other parchment, using her blood as ink, she penned out a single word, "TAG". This one she stabbed onto a poisoned dagger.

Entering the establishment quickly she made a beeline for the couriers' table. A spot made so that they would always have a place no matter how packed somewhere was. She nodded to them all and held up the envelope, a youthful teen snathed the envelope and grinned. There was no need for words to be exchanged as she had given the courier everything he needed to be successful.

In celebration of completing the first task Terra took out the dagger and watched Cicero closely. In one single breath and with a calculated fluid motion she chucked the dagger at the squabbling Cicero and made a mad dash for the door. She would need a head start to give herself any chance against the mad jester.

The sound of psychotic induced laughter followed Terra out of the tavern. She knew with that sound the hunt was on.

Forget the dragon that was still circling high in the sky, the danger for her was a jester who now had a deadly game to play with her. Her only hope was he had nicked a finger catching the dagger. The sleeping and weakness poison on the dagger would only last for so long and she need the advantage to get Cicero far away while attempting to fend off a ticked off dragon.

Terra was use to the cold, but she hated how the air was so cold it would burn her lungs as she tried to breath. Controlling her breathing and keeping a steady pace was difficult when she was trekking through the snow covered mountains.

It had been a while since Terra had started running. The dragon was ahead of her, it was like it was leading her somewhere. With no other place to go, she assumed following the dragon would be best. "Two birds, one stone," she rasped out, the cold prickling her lips and the rush of a large amount of cold air into her lung was a harsh reminder she was still alive for the time being.

The growls of the dragon were almost like a lover's beaconing to her to follow. It was like a sickness, she knew what was going to happen and yet she went every time. She would follow almost like she was hypnotized and when she got there, the true intentions are revealed. No embrace, pillow talk, or whispers of secret desires. Blood and despair that is what welcomed her when she answered this call.

The sudden break came from an echo of laughter. It was enough to send shivers down Terra's spine. Cicero's call to her. Nothing was hidden, not there not in the deadly game she had initiated. This was not a simple terse that could be cleared up by explaining, no, not for them, not for assassin's… no, that wasn't right, she thought for a moment, not for cold blooded killers, they were that and there is nothing simple and easy in that. Fact was, here was the two of them playing tag with their lives and it seemed normal for them.

Terra struggled with herself trying to explain to her brain that what they were doing wasn't fun or delightful. She had thrown reason out the window when she started a game like this with Cicero. And to make it worse, she was enjoying it and that is where she needed to draw the line for herself. Using one's own life as collateral was not a logical thing to do. She should have talked to him, explained it all and cleared the air. No, not her, she made a game of it.

The laughter wasn't close enough for her to worry, but she couldn't let her guard down. There was more things wanting to kill her in the mountains than just a mad jester or crazy dragon.

The ridge that the dragon would be on wasn't far and it wouldn't attack when she was in full cover of the trees. The creature might be violent and full of rage, but it wasn't stupid. There was something to be said about these massive creatures, but there were things wrong with these dragons. They showed no intelligence and to her that meant there was more to these troubled times then she knew. Such beasts were often solitary or even if they were grouped in any resemblance of a colony they still avoided any creatures that would cause them trouble.

Terra sighed and struggled not to shiver. She need to warm up, but right now she had to problems that she needed to take care of and she would do that before she would allow herself any luxuries.
