Terra had been hoping that Cicero's laughter would grow closer as she stopped to take breathers, but that wasn't the case. In fact, she stared up into the sky, the dragon's roars were no longer near her as well. Curiosity was getting the better of her and the longer that she stood still the further his laugh was. It was at that moment, something just slammed into her head and almost knocked her off her feet. Not the attack of monsters or men, but the realization that Cicero was hunting the dragon instead of her.

"No one was that stupid were they?" she hissed under her breath, he wasn't just anyone and the fact was the dragon would interrupt their fight if left on its own to hunt her. "Was he so desperate to win?" Killing her would anger mother, but he wasn't the listener so it wouldn't be like he would hear her nag him! She clicked her tongue and decided to follow the laughter.

Taking a direct route to the dragon's lair Terra soon found the two dueling it out. They were exchanging blows until the dragon would take flight, but the sudden appearance of a magic user on the field turned the tides for Cicero and she knew she would have to intervene. The problem was the magic user was hurling all types of spells, but it was a particular one that stopped Terra in her tracks for a moment.

The thu'um tore through the air and nearly hit Cicero. There were an extremely limited amount of people outside the Greybeards and Ulfric that used the thu'um. She has read in some ancient tomes there were others...priests though she was hesitant to call them as such that worshipped the dragons. It wasn't really a worship, she stared at the magic user, they coveted the power of the dragons and wishes it for themselves in some way, this was her hesitation in calling them holy men and women. One with no self seeking knowledge for the sake of knowledge was a priest. This abomination before her was truly attempting to kill Cicero and it appeared that the dragon was in leagues with this thing; this was no holy person.

Cicero was slammed into a tree near Terra, his laugh slowly fading. She clicked her tongue, again, she was really getting annoyed with all of this and ran to the jester. A quick check to make sure he wasn't dead, a healing scroll for his wounds, and a sleep spell to keep him out of trouble, Terra would now take her turn.

"This is foolish!" Terra growled at the creatures before her. Something of note, the dragon was limping, "good job, Cicero" she whispered as she drew her blade and dagger.

The thu'um tore passed her as she walked toward the thing and now with closer inspection it wore a mask, but nothing natural could make their eyes glow as were the ones staring at her.

The sudden rustling of a tail cutting through the air made Terra duck and roll. This wasn't going to be easy, maybe take out the pet first then the master. She was getting to feet when the thu'um hit her full force.

"Fuck!" She screamed as she landed on her butt and strained to hear more than just the ringing in her ears. This language sucked. Dragons and their violent conflicts and now this? She braced herself and launched her own words at the creature sending it flying away from her with a screech.

She had to move fast cause the dragon would attack while the creature recovered.

Standing and moving back into cover of the trees, she struggled with focusing. The thu'um were just as much a weapon as a sword or bow and arrow and right now she had received the worst of it full on. She needed to be more careful, dragonborn or not, that didn't mean she could take on power words straight on, she still had a weak body.

Ugh, they were stories and folklore, but with that priest before her, she really couldn't claim that anymore. How old was that thing? She couldn't do the math on it now, but it was definitely not of this world now. She had gone back to Cicero's body and dragged it back into the brush so that they couldn't focus on him as bait for her. She couldn't afford distractions at this moment.
