20 minutes had passed since Lincoln left school; he was now within walking distance from Sunset Canyon Retirement Home. In truth, Lincoln could've been there sooner but made a pitstop to call Ronnie Anne. Ronnie Anne was out with her friends, though she took time to explain things to Lincoln. She then explained how her family reacted to her identity as Lady Shazam; the results were mixed. Carl and CJ want to see the rock of eternity. Hector and Bobby are proud. Frida cried for hours, fearing Ronnie Anne would have to fight supervillains, and Carlos started doing research on her powers. Carlota wants her to be her model for dresses. And to do a live-stream chat with her and Lincoln on her blog. Rosa and Maria both were the most reluctant, with Rosa almost forbidding Ronnie Anne from becoming Lady Shazam again. However, Maria came to her defense, saying they should set ground rules instead, along with the Louds. But forbids Ronnie Anne from telling any more of her friends. Lincoln knew her family would figure out that he was Shazam once she told them her secret. But was also glad that Ronnie Anne convinced her family to hold off having that conversation until Lincoln told his parents.

'Maybe we should've waited.' Thought Lincoln.

Lincoln quickly took that thought back, knowing Ronnie Anne didn't like keeping secrets from her family and knew he'd be a bad friend if he put her in that position. Entering the home, Lincoln immediately had to jump out of the way to avoid Scoots.

"out of the way, Romeo." Mocked Scoots as she drove off.

Lincoln grumbled as he was about to get up but saw a hand reaching for him.

"need a hand, kiddo." Said Albert.

Looking up to Lincoln's joy, Albert stood over him, offering his hand to help him back on his feet. Once back on his feet, he instantly hugged his grandfather, which Albert happily returned.

"Good to see you, kiddo; it's been a bit lonely here since Myrtle went on that trip."

"Good to see you too, Pop-pop."

As the two hugged, Lincoln heard the door open and close. To his anger, Clyde had walked through. Albert instantly felt the negative shift in Lincoln's mood as he looks up to see Clyde shamefully looking down, trying to avoid eye contact with Lincoln.

"Hey, Linc, why don't we go somewhere private to talk."

"Let's."

The two walked off while Clyde stood there; Clyde was about to call for Lincoln but was stopped when his Nana Gayle appeared to hug him, but then noticed the saddened expression on his face.

"sweetie, is something wrong?"

As Lincoln and Albert walked, his mood softened the further he got away from Clyde, something Albert again noticed.

"feeling better, Lincoln?"

"just as long as I'm away from him."

"I take it that things are still pretty bad?"

"you don't know the half of it."

Lincoln began telling Albert everything from what Luna had said all the way up until now, though he left out the Shazam parts. Albert felt more disappointed in his granddaughters by the end of Lincoln's story. Still, he was glad to hear his daughter and Son-in-law were making good on their promise to not make those same mistakes.

"Sorry, you're dealing with this, Kiddo."

"Yeah, but to be honest, there are some times I feel I deserve this, all of it."

"Lincoln, why would you say that?"

"because we did the same thing to you and Myrtle."

Lincoln referred to the first time he and his sisters met Myrtle and how her loving but smothering nature disturbed them. They decided to break up her and Albert's relationship with a fake picture of Myrtle kissing Seymour. After learning why she was so smothering, they instantly regretted it and confessed to Albert. He forgave them, and the kids began treating her like their grandmother.

"sport, I know you feel wrong about that, but you kids made up for that, and you kids even started calling her gran-gran."

"It just feels like karma catching up to me."

"you kids just didn't know what grandmothers are like; I mean, none of you met either of your grandmothers, so it's pretty natural you kids were put off. To be honest, my grandmother was worse." Joked Albert.

Lincoln smiled at Albert's joke as the two walked; Lincoln thought about telling Albert about his powers, initially reluctant. But he knew that his grandfather would accept it.

"something else bothering you?"

"there's something I left out that I wanted to show you."

"what? Did you get more chest hair?" Albert joked.

"no, more remarkable than that, but I have to show you outside in private."

"sure, we can go to the badminton field."

The two then headed outside to the badminton field; luckily, no one was there, giving them the needed privacy.

"Okay, so what did you want to show me."

"braise yourself, Pop-pop." Said Lincoln as he stepped away from Albert.

Shazam!

Albert watched a bolt of lightning strike his grandson, to his horror. When the dust cleared, Lincoln was no longer standing there but a man that had been in the news a lot lately.

"so, what do you think, Pop-pop?"

" Lincoln, you're that Shazam guy?"

"yeah, pretty shocking?" he replied

"How did this happen?"

"just a second…."

Shazam!

In a flash, Lincoln was back in his regular form, surprising Albert again. Lincoln began to tell how he and Ronnie Anne met the Wizard and how he passed his powers on to them before dying and how they started using their new powers. Up until they saved the plane and the family. Albert was in awe hearing how it was his grandson who kept their family from dying.

"so that's the whole story Pop-pop." Explained Lincoln.

Albert's face suddenly went from awe to shock as if he had remembered something that he had forgotten a long time ago.

"Pop-pop?"

"Lincoln, this may sound crazy, but."

"but what?" Lincoln asked."

"I think I met your wizard."

"you did? How?"

"It was right after I enlisted in the military when I was on my way to start basic training with the rest of the recruits. Suddenly everything started to go crazy; at first, all the other recruits disappeared. Then when I looked out the window, I was traveling through space until suddenly, the bus stop, and when I stepped off, I was inside a castle. I started following a light and a voice that led me to a throne room, where I saw this old man, he wanted me to become his champion, but I declined. I was back on the bus the next thing I knew, and everything was normal."

"you never told anyone?"

"not your grandmother and mother, part of me thought it was a dream, and I wondered who would've believed me if I did."

"wow, pop-pop, just wow."

"who would've thought that old Wizard would've chosen my grandson." Joked Albert.

"hey pop-pop, now that you saw me do you regret not becoming the champion."

"are you kidding? I met your grandmother through my time in the military; I'm just happy someone better suited for the job took over."

"you really think so?"

" I know so, kiddo, but."

"but what?"

"you are gonna tell your parents?"

"I am, but I just want to do it away from my sis… I mean, the girls, they don't have any right to know about this."

Albert noticed how Lincoln said that, knowing his grandson still resented his granddaughters.

"Lincoln, do you hate your sisters."

"what?"

" I know you're angry with them, and I don't blame you, but I need to know."

"to be honest, I don't know how to feel about them anymore; part of me wants to hate them, but I can't. The other part wants to keep loving them, but I can't do that either. I don't know how to feel; the only sister I can say I still love is Lily because she doesn't look down on me like they do."

"really?"

"pop-pop. I heard them; the ones who blame me think I'm some perverted boy, and the ones who blame Sam believe I should've resisted and think I'm some weak-willed boy; the rest act like this whole thing is below them."

"Lincoln."

"When we save loch loud, they said I had a purpose, that I kept them together, but it was a lie; I don't have a purpose among them. I'm okay with that because now I have a chance to be part of something bigger. Lincoln said happily.

Albert wanted to talk more but felt this conflict needed to be resolved with them, though he hoped the girls would wake up sooner rather than later.

"so are you and Ronnie Anne together now."

"what? After everything that happened with Stella, no Pop-pop, dating is the last thing on my mind."

"that's too bad, you know, Myrtle and I think you two would make a cute couple."

"Pop-pop!"

The two shared a laugh as they hung out for the rest of the day until later that evening when they were to the main entrance to wait for Lincoln's parents, who were on their way. As the two arrived, Lincoln saw Clyde again waiting by the door just as his dads Howard and Harold, came to pick him up. Though annoyed, Lincoln was still in a better head-space. Just as Clyde was about to leave, he saw Lincoln and ran up to him to talk, surprising his family and Albert.

"Lincoln, I know you're mad at me, but please hear me out."

"you've got 5 minutes, Mcbride."

"I'm sorry."

Lincoln was taken aback a little he was not expecting his former best friend to say anything like that, but he let him continue.

"I'm sorry for not believing you, I'm sorry for being a bad friend, I'm sorry for everything.

"how long have you known I was innocent."

"Since the beginning, after I stopped talking to you, I realized that I was wrong, but I was so angry I didn't know I made a mistake, then I was too ashamed." He explains, causing Lincoln to pinch the bridge of his nose in frustration.

"let me get this straight after all this time; now you're sorry!" said Lincoln, his anger starting to show.

"Lincoln." Said Albert trying to calm his grandson.

"no, Pop-Pop, this has to be said; it was bad enough when he shunned me like everyone else. But he knew I was innocent, yet he did nothing to help or defend me."

"I'm sorry, Lincoln I,"

"No, Clyde, you did nothing when Rusty kicked me out of the group; you did nothing when Zach and Liam kicked me off the action news team! I spent the last three months being treated like crap by almost everyone; you knew I was innocent. Yet you still did nothing; even when Stella and Rusty started dating just days after she dumped me, you did nothing, but now you're sorry."

Clyde didn't know what to say as he tried to think of something, but he couldn't say anything. Everything Lincoln called him out for was true; he had no defense to defend himself.

"I'm not saying you having my back would've changed everyone's minds. But it would have made what I was going through easier if the guy I considered my best friend and brother had stuck with me, but you did nothing. So at this point, why don't you do the only thing you're good at, nothing! Because there's nothing, you can do to make this right."

"wait, Lincoln."

"Sorry, your 5 minutes are up; goodbye, Clyde."

Feeling rejected, Clyde walked away with his dads following him; Lincoln turned away, not wanting anyone to see the tears leaving his eyes. Seconds later, Rita and Lynn Sr. came walking in, seeing Clyde's sad expression on the way in. Seeing Lincoln looking away from everyone, Rita walked over to talk to him; she reached out only for him to gently pull away.

"Lincoln?" Rita asked with concern.

"I'll be in Vanzilla."

Lincoln then walked outside, leaving his parents confused, and Albert concerned.

"Dad, what's wrong with Lincoln?"

"I think all that hurt he's been burying is starting to come back up; you too should take the long way home to talk to him; I think there's something he needs to tell you."

"Okay, dad, we'll do just that. Besides, I wanna stay away from the house for a while. Lynn Jr. has been rage lifting all day, and she's up to 100 pounders."

Albert shuttered, knowing how dangerous Lynn Jr. is whenever she rage lifts. The loud parents then left, saying goodnight to Albert before jumping into the car to go with Lincoln sitting in the back. As Clyde made his way home, his dads tried consoling him.

"it's okay, son; Lincoln just needs time."

"no, dad, he was right; he needed me, but I did nothing, but now I'm gonna do something."

Back with the Louds, Lynn Sr. took a longer way to get back to the house, giving them 30 minutes to talk as they were the only ones on the back roads.

"Lincoln Sweetie, please talk to us, tell us what's wrong." Pleaded Rita.

Lincoln was reluctant to speak; he felt depressed, chewing out Clyde didn't feel good as it did with Stella. Despite shutting himself off, Lincoln still felt hurt by Clyde, wondering over and over how he could throw away a 7-year friendship on a lie. Lynn Sr. tried to lighten the mood by playing music that his son liked hoping that would help him open up. Instead of music, he got a late-breaking story by Katherine Mulligan. Royal Woods Spa was being consumed by a massive fire. Despite the fire department's efforts, the fire was getting more out of control, and people were still trapped inside. The report then ended with Katherine Mulligan saying they need Shazam. Lincoln's ears perked up, realizing that people needed his help.

"mom, dad, we need to go there."

"What, sweetie?" Rita asked

"I have to help those people!"

"son, I'm proud you want to help, but there's nothing you can do."

"yes, there is, dad; I can save them."

"How are you gonna do that." Argued Lynn Sr.

"it's because I'm…."

"you're what, sweetie?" asked Rita with concern.

"I'm…. Shazam! Cried Lincoln as a lightning bolt came shooting down, hitting Vanzilla, sending it out of control and spinning before it suddenly stopped.

As Rita and Lynn Sr. collected themselves, they both looked back to see if their son was okay, but he was gone and there was a large hole in the roof, to their shock.

"my Baby!" cried Lynn Sr.

"Lynn, forget about the car; our son is Missing!"

"I'm right here," said a voice.

The two turned around to see non-other than Shazam, having stopped their car from having an accident. Rita was surprised to see the man who saved her and her family save her again. Suddenly something clicked in her mind remembering what Lincoln had said. Rita knew there was a reason for Lincoln's disappearance and Shazam's appearance. Getting a better look at his face, all the pieces fell into place despite the mask and hood. Call it mother's intuition, as she knew who this was in front of her.

"Lincoln!?" cried Rita.

"huh?!" Lynn Sr. asked.

"Lynn, that man is our son!" Rita informed

Lynn was skeptical; however, Lincoln pulled down his hood to show his white hair confirming himself to his father.

"Son?"

"mom, dad, I'm sorry about the hole in Vanzilla, and I know we have a lot to talk about, but I have to help those people. He said before flying off.

"Lynn, step on it; we're going to the spa; he needs our help."

"Rita, what can we do?"

"I don't know, but we're gonna be there just in case we can."

"you're right, honey, let's go! He said, speeding off to catch up to Lincoln.

At the royal woods spa, the lower levels have been consumed by fire. And the fire is working its way up. The fire department had been trying to contain the fire. While trying to put the fire out, the fire chief was also trying to figure out how to save the trapped people on the upper levels. Katherine Mulligan gave live updates on the situation while people watched from a safe distance. Among those people were Rodney Spokes and his sons, Rusty and Rocky. They, along with Katherine, were on a family outing when she got the call to cover the story. The situation was becoming direr as the chief tried figuring out how to save everyone still trapped but had no solution. Suddenly everyone heard thunder despite the sky being clear. Then like a bolt of lightning, Lincoln appeared, getting instant cheers from the crowd. Making his way to the fire chief, he began asking questions.

"what's the situation, and how can I help."

"an explosion went off in the building's lower level. The fire spread fast, consuming half the building by the time we got here."

"what about the people inside."

"Some escaped, but most are still trapped, but we don't know if everyone is okay.

"what about the building's automatic sprinkler system?"

"it was shut down; in fact, a guest who managed to escape reported that all the plumbing stopped working just before the explosion.

Lincoln thought for a moment before realizing a plan of action to save as many as he could.

"Thank you, sir. I'll deal with saving the people; have your men do what they can to slow the fire.

Taking into the air, Lincoln flew right into the fire; thanks to the courage of Achilles was invulnerable and couldn't be burned by the fire.

"Okay, historama, how me where the trapped guests are."

Lincoln's mind was then flooded with visions of all and their trapped rooms; Lincoln counted 80 people in the upper levels. Thankfully, they were away from the flames. Knowing that this building could hold thousands of people, Lincoln felt relief that this happened during the hotel's off-season. Moving a super speed, he began traveling through the hotel, flying the people out one by one, safely delivering them to the waiting ambulances. Finally, the last person was saved, and now it was time to save the building.

"now's the time to try a spell,"

Flying into the sky till he was hovering over the roof, Lincoln blasted a hole into the roof before summoning his staff. Pointing it to the sky, Lincoln closed his eyes, visualizing the spell in his mind; suddenly, his body began emitting electricity as if he was charging up. Squeezing his staff, Lincoln shouted Shazam channeling all his built-up power into the staff. Before firing the energy into the sky, creating an explosion of lightning into the atmosphere leaving everyone who saw it in awe. Suddenly clouds began to form in the sky, covering the whole area, before the rain poured down. Everyone ran to keep from getting soaked; however, Lincoln's plan worked as the water from the rain entered through the hole, making its way through the building and around the building. This caused the fire to weaken; along with the help from the department, the fire was put out. And everyone cheered. Entering the ruined hotel, Lincoln knew much work would be needed to fix the place since it now had fire and water damage. Heading to the basement, he saw signs of sabotage despite the damage it had taken. Evidently, this whole ordeal was no accident, as Lincoln saw that the pipes were tampered with. However, one thing he managed to find was a burnt hockey mask that resembled a dragon. The design seemed familiar, wondering where he saw it last. Lincoln remembered when he last saw it, right before Lucy was born. An organization tried setting up shop in royal woods but was rejected though he couldn't remember why.

"the white dragons."

Deciding to take the mask with him, Lincoln left while being cheered by the crowd as he flew off. Finding a safe place to change back, he decided to walk home, figuring his parents would waiting for him there. However, to Lincoln's surprise, he heard Vanzilla's car horn and headlights beaming down on him. Lincoln saw Vanzilla pulling up and Rita jumping out to hug him.

"I'm so glad you're okay; we tried to catch up to you, but by the time we made it, you were leaving, but we saw the lightning bolt in the sky.

"thank you, guys."

Everyone got back into Vanzilla; for a moment, everything was silent, but Lincoln felt it was time to address the elephant in the room.

"guess I should start explaining this."

Both parents nodded, and Lincoln started explaining everything from meeting the Wizard to the point they were at now, leaving them in awe.

"son, this is a lot to take in; I don't know what to say." Said Lynn Sr.

"I know; thank you for saving, sweetie." Rita thanked.

"wow, I bet your sisters would wake up if they knew you were a superhero." Said an excited Lynn Sr.

"I'd prefer they don't find out; Lily already knows, but I don't want the rest in my business, especially Luna."

"We understand, Lincoln; wait, how does Lily know?" asked Lynn Sr.

"she figured it out right after I stopped the plane."

Rita always knew Lily was brilliant, maybe not in the same way as Lisa, but for her to recognize Lincoln showed what a bright toddler she was. Finally returning home, they saw the girls were still up. After watching the hotel story, they instantly started scowling at Lincoln, except for Lily. She walked over to him, hugging him before being picked up by Lincoln.

"let's get you to bed." Said Lincoln, about to go upstairs.

"hold up, stinkin." Said Lynn Jr.

Confronting her brother, she blocked his path, ready to deliver a warning to her brother.

"What happened in the gym will never happen again; you hear me, next time will be different." Said Lynn Jr. as the rest of her sisters only smirked.

Lincoln smirked back, annoying his sisters before telling Lynn Jr.

"you're right, Lynn. next time, I'll take you down faster." He said before walking upstairs with Lily, leaving Lynn Jr. shocked.

As they climbed up the stairs, Lily looked at her parents, who looked back, putting fingers to their lips, signaling they knew the secret, which made her smile.

"jerk!" Said Lynn Jr.

"what do you expect from a boy." Said Lola, to which all the other sisters agreed.

"that's enough!" roared Rita causing the rest of the girls to jump. "I don't know when this toxic belief that you are all the better than Lincoln because he's a boy and you're all girls started, but we're ending it."

"We tired of the Sam thing and blaming Lincoln for your problems, this has gone on too long, and we're tired." Said Lynn Sr.

"hey, this is his fault; he's the one who kissed Sam; the backstabbing little twerp won't even admit to it; he just acts like he's the victim." Argued Luna.

"maybe if he apologizes, things will get better. Said Leni.

"so now you all think he's guilty?" asked Rita.

All the girls nodded; having discussed it with each other, they all sided with Luna, now believing the photo was real. Which only exasperated their parents more as they looked at their daughter.

"you know I was a fool to blame Sam initially, but I realized she was innocent, just like Lincoln, but you girls are all damn fools. Berated Lynn Sr.

"But DAD!"

"But Nothing, Leni." Rita cut off. "you've all taken Lincoln for granted for too long."

"We don't need him," argued Lola and Lana

"well, I hope that's true because your mother and I are done trying to get you, girls, to wake up, so let this be our final warning. You keep this going, and one day, you're all going to wake up and realize the mistake you made, and if or when that happens, do not come to us to help you, so we suggest you wake up now."

Lynn Sr. and Rita then went into their room, leaving their daughters to think. However, Luna assured the rest of her sisters that everyone would see they were right once the photos came in by Friday. All the girls agreed and went upstairs to bed, anticipating when the truth would finally be revealed.

Elsewhere

On the shores of Loch Loud, Morag is again practicing with her new powers. Although the slow progress is frustrating her, the sins have noticed lately.

"This is foolish; you all promised me the power to have my revenge on the Louds. Yet I've barely made any progress, and to make matters worse, that dragon and those ghosts are constant thorns in my rear."

"I must be this way; you are not ready to battle the champion." They replied

"What makes you think that this champion is ready? He might be easy to eliminate for all you know, so you should strike now. Eliminate the champion now so I can eliminate the Louds."

The Sins all thought on this, realizing that if they were to attack now, there was a chance they could eliminate their greatest threat before he became a threat.

"We knew there was a reason that we chose you."

"thank you, now how do we draw him out."

"Leave that to us; let's just say we have friends who owe us some favors."
