Terra stared at the entrance to Ysgramor's Tomb. This was where the purification of Farkas would take place. He would get his request fulfilled. This poor man who had always done as he was told because it was right finally had made his own decision. This had been a big choice as he had been the muscle of the two siblings, though nothing says that Vilkas isn't strong, but it is simple to see that Farkas is the one who was truly gifted in that area. Here was a man who followed his sibling to the ends of the world, but now has taken on his own path probably for the first time in a long while. There was a little thought that seemed to nag at her gently telling her that the truth was that if he had not gotten caught up with her nothing would have changed and he would still hold tight to his beast.

Terra shook her head gently, "It is not like that … he is not such a stupid creature to wish his own damnation, he simply took a little longer to realize what his heart desired…" then she shivered a moment, "No, that's wrong. After we shared that night together he knew what he wanted and yet I still denied him that." She reached the doorway of the tomb, but was slightly surprised to find it opening slowly.

"I'm sorry, Terra," Farkas said softly as he waited for her to enter. "I did not mean to cause a mess by forgetting the items...even after you gave me that note…" he kept his head down in shame.

"Farkas," Terra walked through the way and was greeted with a soft warmth. "Please do not apologize, you saved me in the end, had you done as I said, who knows in hindsight what would have happened." She followed the warm glow that soon led her off to a small room, it had been dusted of webs and specks of dirt.

"I figured that you would be hungry and in my phobia had to find a space devoid of those filthy eight legged creatures. I know you cleared out all the larger of the species, but one cannot be so careful. So I have made meat, veggies, and stew as I wasn't sure of what you would want."

Terra smiled at the thought of a hot meal and then over to Farkas, "Thank you so much for this. I need to get out of these snow wet and cold clothing." She began pulling armor off, carefully placing each piece near the fire as to make sure that they dried out. Soon she was left with just under cloth and to her misfortune those were soaked as well. A sigh escaped her lips and she looked to see that she was alone. "Farkas?" Terra was surprised of his absence.

"I wanted to give you some privacy," Farkas send gently, he was leaning against the door frame outside the room.

"Thank you…" she whispered her response, he had given her much to think on when it came to all of this. He had done everything out of kindness and he never seemed to want anything in return. She dug through her bag trying to see if she had extras of anything, luckily she did, though nothing of extra armor just clothing. She dressed quickly so that she could grab some food to stop the rumbling in her stomach. She could hear Farkas chuckle each time it happened and it embarrassed her as he shouldn't hear her in this state.

"I'll get us set up for dinner. I didn't know how hungry you would be, I am glad I made a lot," Farkas soon stopped, "Um… if you don't mind me coming back into the room, I'll serve us?"

"Oh," Terra hadn't realized that everything had been set up there in the room, "Yes, absolutely come in, I finished dressing."

Farkas entered cautiously, but soon let a breath out as he looked over at her, "I hope everything is to your liking."

"Farkas, I am sure it will be great," Terra chuckled softly. "You shouldn't worry about me so much. I can fend for myself, honestly."

"Terra," Farkas added firmness to his voice, something that she had not been familiar with, "I know that you can take care of yourself. I, also, know that you are quite capable of many things, but dammit all, why can't you just take what I do for what it is?"

She blinked at him in curiosity, "And what is it?"

Farkas glared at her for a moment, cursed under his breath, and turned away. She noticed that even with the reddish glow of the fire, Farkas' flesh had become slightly darker red than the lighting. "I just want to …" mumbling was all the last of the words that Terra could hear.

"Farkas, come on," Terra chuckled, "I can't understand you, tell me."

Farkas turned to her and now in the light, she realized his eyes were filled with something, "Terra, why do you want me to say it when you know what it is?"

She thought a moment and met his eyes with something that she hoped was a desire to understand, "I do not understand anything that isn't explained out right. I will never just assume that something is."

"Did the others tell you?" Farkas' voice seethed for a moment, it was almost as if he would spit poison at her.

Terra stared at him, "Did the others tell me what?"

Farkas looked at Terra as if she was stupid or clueless, "Terra, that jester … my brother...others… I have heard tells of a strong woman who has rebuilt many guilds. One who has played games that no one else dared in fear of death and the rumors of all the men's hearts left in her wake."
