Terra stared at Farkas, "Those are rumors...second hand information or third information or worse a friend of a friend of a friend says, those stories don't have any values to them." She struggled for a moment to continue her conversation without sounding vague. "Look, if you want me to be completely honest about everything going on with me, I will do so…" She felt ashamed for some reason, he knew of the rumors, but there was something about getting the information from the source that made everything final and inflexible. Surely, he knew that when he decided to bring this all up. "I did help a lot of guilds restore themselves to their former glory, but I did so by cleaning up the messes that had be left by some bad people. I simply removed the cause of the ruin of the guilds."
Farkas was watching her carefully. His full attention was on her. He had stopped everything he had been doing and was listening.
Terra's stomach protested to this, but she wasn't going to get out of this without being completely honest and he deserved that. She would tell him everything he wanted to know and even if it destroyed what they could have had so be it.
"The people's hearts that were left broken…" she was so unsure how to put it all. She never did anything of note with any of them. A kiss here, a fondle there, and nothing ever made it to the level that Farkas and her shared. Would she have gone further? She looked at him and there was a curiosity that plucked at her, if it wasn't for the interruptions and inconveniences would she have slept with those people? "Nothing, ever happened and in some cases, yes, the person confessed that there was a spark of interest. You stumbled upon your brother confessing to me, so why would you ask me about others? Why would you want to know all this?"
Farkas sat there in silence, his face had darkened a bit, but soon it returned to his usual calm demeanor. "I wanted to know if you would tell me," he struggled with something while keeping his face neutral. "Terra, I want to understand. I know you have been through alot and I understand that you have been put upon because of this title that you have taken, but that doesn't mean that you are expected to fix the world."
"No, not fix it, just save it, huh?" Terra felt bile rise from her stomach, this topic was making her angry. She had slowly come to grips with this, how would he even understand the actual pressure that was placed on her shoulders? "I didn't take this title, Farkas, this was thrusted upon me and now it is expected for me to save this world. How about this? I don't give you a choice on your destiny and give you the opinion of being destroyed by evil or you being the one who has the only power to save everyone from it?"
Farkas hadn't blinked or shifted, "Terra, if that is what will happen so be it! And to be honest I would embrace it and take this evil head on."
Terra rolled her eyes, "Of course, Farkas cause it is so simple."
"Yes, Terra, it is that simple," Farkas came and kneeled before her. "It is simple because if I did not take on that job, I would lose the one thing that I just learned is the most important to me."
Terra cackled at his response, "Of course, because this is hypothetical for you."
"No, Terra, it isn't," Farkas responded without getting angry at her laughing at him. "Because I swear to you right now that where you go from now on I will follow. Do you understand now what I am saying?"
"Sure, Farkas, you are loyal to a fault," Terra answer tritely.
Farkas growled at Terra, "Why are pretending to be stupid? Or ignorant? Maybe the fact that I am so sure about this is what is getting to you?"
Terra took in a deep breath, he actually might be onto something with that line of thinking.
