Farkas was a dangerous man with a sword, but now looking at him Terra could see that he didn't need one to continue to be dangerous. This man who didn't fear showing her his weakness by allowing her to view his tears was also the man who without a question or doubt in his mind would strike down anyone who would threaten those he cherished. Right at this moment he looked at her both as an ally and a dangerous threat. He hadn't attempted to answer question, but that isn't because he didn't care or didn't hear her, it that he was calculating how to answer her. In her mind right now that was more dangerous than him just spouting out whatever he thought would sound good.

"Terra, I am not trying to talk you from the edge," he had finally reached close enough to touch her, but he simply sat down before her and met her eyes with his. "I am asking you to allow me to join you on that edge so that we are together when it comes time for us to face this terrible threat that has been prophesied. I do not believe just because one is born with certain skills or titles does not mean one can not change that fate, it just means that overcoming prejudices and struggles can be easier or more difficult depending on those skills or titles. I am here offering you another option, one that you most likely didn't think was plausible."

Terra hissed at him, it angered her that he would think she didn't ponder the chance to have someone with her. Did he think it was easy to just walk away from the warmth of someone else who shows that they love you? "You! Damn you, Farkas, do you think I could make it through these events in my life like I have without having thought about the option of not being alone? I'm afraid that I could have become addicted to your warmth like Khajit is addicted to skooma!" she spat at the corner of the room they were in so that she didn't spit on him. "You're selfish and stubborn and while that is great for the Companions, it doesn't work so well when one is leading their own death march. Do you think that I haven't struggled with the prophecy?! Do you think I tried to pretend that it didn't exist? HA! Guess what? I tried to forget it altogether and everytime something horrible drags me back to this cursed fate. Let's say I don't die, maybe I make it out and survive, do you think I make it out not changed?" She felt her breathing shallow as she struggled not to scream and run out of the room.

Farkas leaned in closer to Terra, "Let's say that happens. You aren't a baby bird that fell out of a tree, Terra, you don't do well being cradled. There is something inside you that pushes you forward and I for one would not get in the way of it. Maybe you are a dragon reborn, but that doesn't mean I am a creature that is so blessed with grace. Fuck it, Terra, we are literally here to purge my fucking soul. I am so driven by a supernatural being that is deep inside me and I am so tired from it that I asked the lead of my guild to help me take it on." His growl had resonation deep in his throat, revealing that he was struggling to hold that creature back for some reason. He did strive to appear that he wasn't having problems with himself, but that meant nothing to Farkas, he didn't reveal much when he wanted to appear a certain way. "My intentions with you aren't so pure, I have surely tainted you in many ways, but god damn it that didn't seem to matter. Everytime you escaped me, it was always apparent that someone else is always after you. Grant the fact that I have given you no true token to wear for discourage others from coming to you, but give me some kind of credit, I didn't attempt to kill… most of those who attempted something with you."

Terra was tired of the conversation going round and round. Farkas argued in the same line of thinking that if he just spout off everything at her enough times maybe she would acquiesce to his request. No, she shook her head a moment before she could even vocalize her thoughts, she wasn't giving him enough credit. He was honestly sitting before her and trying to convey his emotions in a manner that would be easy for her to swallow. A chuckle escaped her lips as she took in everything he had said, "So I should be grateful that you only tried to kill one of my allies? That jester is a key player in the Brotherhood, tearing him to shreds would have been most inconvenient for me. Not only would that be an issue, you would then probably have a bounty on your head and coming from the Brotherhood that would not of have been no small amount. Hell, most of the members would have probably taken on that contract to kill you." She allowed herself to take in the humor of that. Being the leader of that guilt would have meant that she would have written the contract herself, even if she had tried to hide what happened sooner or later she would have had to fulfill her duty. Being torn about such an act didn't happen for Terra, she would have taken up the challenge and performed her duties. This sense of duty is what allowed her to fix and control the guilds that she had repaired. No one would stand in her way when it came to completing anything she put her mind to and in the end this is what truly scared her. "I would not have hesitate to put a contract on your head, Farkas. Do you understand what I am telling you?"

Farkas let out a deep, rumbling laugh, the dilemma for Terra, this was not a sound of joy or happiness. Before her was a man who laughed at the thought of being put onto a contract of death, "It wouldn't be the first time and I wouldn't have expected any less from you. I would have never fallen for a woman so weak to lose who she was because of a mistake I made." He reached for her and she flinched away. "I would travel to other planes of existences if it meant that I could be with you, but you have little faith in both of us because you have had no reason to trust in others as you have been broken. You are brittle and not in a way that others can see. You create this aura around you, making yourself appear far stronger than anyone around you. People will always flock to those who can protect and guide them. You fool them all," he looked as his empty hand.

Terra also watched his hand, she had moved away for her sake. She wanted their bodies against each other if for nothing other than to make love. She wanted the passion and heat that he created in her and she didn't want that to go, but what was she willing to give up to have that.

"I am drunk with desire for you because I want us touching," Farkas voice faltered a moment from the cold, composite tone he had been using.

Terra glared at him, "That can not go on and on. One can not be drunk all the time on someone. Sooner or later you will sober up and see this for what it is."

"Terra, this is what it is," Farkas said moving toward her. She scrambled to escape him like an animal, but was again pressed against the wall. "There is nothing that I need to prove what this is because I believe this for what it is. We are good together and this drives you nuts. You go insane in wanting me because that means that everything you have always used to fuel your rage and keep you going is lost. You feel lost and weak. This is not that…" He moved in closer to her and his voice dropped to whispers, "You have lost nothing… you have gained a man who would drag himself from the pits of madness… and would ravage you till you screamed for me to stop. I love you, you are so much stronger than me and I can not deceive myself, your scent drives me nuts right now and even when I purge myself of my beast, I believe that I will still know what you smell like when in a mood of desire." He breathed gently against her neck.

Terra shivered as his breath moved the hairs on her neck and she cursed herself as she felt herself become aroused. He was delicious. She could not deny she wanted him and that is why she was afraid. She couldn't take him disappearing, but the voices in the back of her mind seemed to try and coax her out of that fear. The issue was she was very sure her body just wanted a good fuck.

"I'm not going anywhere, I have spend a lot of time hunting you down everytime you escape, " Farkas whispered softly, "I can't take this game anymore and maybe you weren't purposely playing a game, but Terra, darling, to come back and smell like others in heat, it is torture. You do what you do, but you can't deny what you do to others. You pretend that they are just infatuated with their guild leader, but the fact is it is just you…" The breathes now escaping his lips sounded like an animal panting and struggling with his urges.

Terra was struggling with herself as she was now very aware of the heat he was radiating. If she felt she wasn't in danger of being weak, she would have striped down from the heat he was giving off. She tried no to move as she would be rubbing against him and this act would have been too much.

"Terra," his breathy words were arousing her. She could feel the passion in his voice and it was making her lose focus on her fight. "I want you, need you...desire those…" and suddenly he engulfed her lips with heated passion. His body was on fire and she felt ice cold. If they had been elements, him fire and her ice, she would be in danger of being melted away. She tried to struggle and push him away, but he just took her hands into one of his and held her head with his other hand and he kept his pursue in kissing her. When he did take a breath, it was for a moment, and it was as if he took a breath too long, she would escape him.
