Terra was so covered in the mud of self loathing that she couldn't just accept that Farkas enjoyed her as a person. He had never treated her in any other way to make her think that she was a toy or a fling, but she was drowning and didn't recognize that she had stopped breathing. She struggled to pull herself from the mudpit and yet every time she did so she sank deeper. The struggle just led to her being covered more and more and anytime there was a rope thrown to her, it would just slip through her hands as someone on the other side tried to tug her out. No one had ever had a tight enough grip to pull her free, they would see what would happen when they tried and in the end they just let go.

Farkas watched as her face flashed through many different emotions. He felt so much better from everything that happened that he felt guilty for making her do this with him. She had helped him clear his mind and guided him through murky water, but there she was struggling with herself and he couldn't figure out how to get her out. She was too deep, he thought as he shifted to get comfortable and then gagged from the scent that he had aggravated from his movement. He stank, he knew that she had been wiping him down, but he truly smelled like a dead carcass. He got up slowly. He didn't want her to stop her fight, but he was needing a breath of fresh air.

Farkas's movement snapped Terra out of her funk, "What do you need?" She asked as her eyes followed his movement and he shifted uncomfortably from foot to foot. "Bathroom?"

He sighed, "I smell terrible, I would really like to bathe…"

Terra felt like an idiot, of course, he would want a bath after he had been laying for so long. She began moving everything around. "I'll get the water hot and all… the food is done cooking anyway, so you can have hot water to clean up with. I'll go get snow…"

Farkas gently took hold of her wrist as she was moving past him, "Terra, I'll get the snow, if you could get everything here together so that I can get bathed as fast as possible that would be wonderful." He had sure footing as he grabbed two buckets and moved quickly to prevent her from stopping him. Instead of feeling weak or tired from this whole event he felt invigorated and desperate to move. The idea of the manual labor excited him.

She stared in surprise that he could move so quickly without his wolf. He had attempted to stop her from doing things before, but right now he didn't feel like he questioned his decision. He now appeared to be sure of himself and that had taken her back. She looked around and decided that cleaning up the area as he suggested would be most beneficial especially if he stank, his bed probably was disgusting. She gagged as she walked closer to the bedding. "There is no way to get the smell out of this stuff…" she coughed as she talked to herself, turning her head away as she gathered the bedding. "This needs to be burnt!" She began cussing silently, she forgot to put the big pot on. Dropping everything on the ground, she hurriedly moved the pots around, moving the food off the side where everything else edible was stored and carried the other pot to hang over the fire. Just as she finished adjusting the pot Farkas came in with the buckets of snow.

"Thanks…" he stopped to see all the bedding off to the side of the doorway, "Oh, that bad?"

Terra laughed out loud for a moment before she caught herself and adjusted to snickering, "Yes and no, I kind of just didn't want to deal with that mess...so I was going to set fire to it outside, it would probably chase all the animals away for a while."

"What does that say about how I smell right now?" Farkas tried to pretend he felt hurt, but the fact he could smell himself just solidified her opinion as truth.

"Well, you are going to bath so I would say you are definitely better than an animal right now," she had taken a bucket from him while they bantered and poured it into the pot. Quickly, she threw some herbs in with the snow so that it would add scent to the water.

"Terra, you don't have to be nice and add herbs, those could be used for…" Farkas went to explain, she covered his mouth with her hand.

"Please understand that this is so that I can stand being in the same room with you," she chuckled as she poured the next bucket. "Now get more snow cause you will need a lot of water. Good thing I always carry soap with me, though right now I don't feel like it would be enough, but we will see." She shook her head as she went to go back and gather the bedding.

"Fire huh? Animal deterrent?" Farkas shook his head and chuckled as he left her to her work. He wouldn't win with her if he got in her way so he would bow out and allow her to run this place like she wanted. Something told him she would do a better job then him anyway.
