This was a thank you for Leo-Hubby (Vampirycent) who made me a YuBo picture on my birthday. It has long passed, I know, but I've only just gotten around to posting all my thank-you stories in a little spree.

-Dress Up-
It was Halloween again and Takao refused to let anyone not participate in one of his favorite events, apart from Christmas, his Birthday, Tournaments and hey, even Easter was really cool.
To summarize, it meant that even Kai had to dress up and go trick or treating with them that night, without complaining.
Takao chose to dress up as his bit beast and fabricated a highly elaborate Dragon costume, but he refused to show anyone until the unveiling, just before they all left to gather candy. Max praised Takao for his ingenuity before copying the theme and adorning a large, cardboard turtle shell.
Rei chose not to dress up as a Tiger, for he wanted to be something more creative and unique. Besides, he did not want to imitate the theme already going around. His costume would be original and unheard of. Rei would be...a ninja.
He strode out into the living room; only to find Kai already impatiently leaned against one of the walls, fully dressed with his eyes closed. When the stealthy footsteps approached, a garnet eye peered open and he stared at the black ninja standing before him.
Kai knew it was Rei, just by looking at the clothed, lithe body, moving so gracefully about with such elegance that his hips swayed in a rhythmic and hypnotic pattern.
''Ninja kitten, hm?'' He raised a brow in amusement and smirked.
Rei looked over to Kai, and despite his costume, hiding most of his face, his grin, and laughter was still evident. Kai as well, had chose not to dress up as an over sized bird, but he did have one attached to his shoulder. Yes, Kai was a pirate.
He wore dark blue pants, torn off at the knees, with one brown sock to resemble a real peg leg. His shirt was black, with a large skull in the middle and the complete the pirate outfit, he even had an eye patch over his left orb and a red bandana pushing back his slate hair. Of course, Dranzer was also perched on his shoulder.
''Aren't you a cute pirate.''
Rei stepped up to Kai and began to toy with his fake bird.
''Can I shiver your timbers?''
The pirate hooked a finger along the ninja's mask and pulled it downward, revealing the hidden smirk. He pressed their lips together, enjoying the taste even sweeter than candy.
Takao waddled his way out of the bedroom, just then and the dragon started to laugh.
He was not quite sure if he was laughing at the pirate, or the ninja, but the nevertheless, it was a funny sight.
