Adrien was stressing over every detail of revealing himself to Kagami, whether to do it as Adrien or Chat Noir, what he should do afterwards, whether or not to ask her out or not, if she said yes what would they even do, it had taken all night but he had a plan He'd do it as Adrien because while he was fairly sure she liked Chat Noir well enough, she knew Adrien much better so he figured it'd be less of a shock if he did it as himself.
Second, depending on her reaction he'd ask her out and if she said no that would be it. If she said yes he was thinking of asking her to go to the park with him, though he wasn't sure if they should let their parents know they had gotten back together or at least not right away, too much pressure.
Once Adrien was dressed he sent Kagami a text message asking her if they could meet up to talk, really his entire plan hinged on if she said yes or no.
–
"Meet up? What like the past few weeks never happened?" Kagami said mostly to herself, still she wasn't going to improve anything by avoiding him, so she simply texted back "Sure"
After school she met up with Adrien and they went to a cafe. Kagami was still hopeful they could be friends again at some point but there was obviously something off about Adrien. Like he was nervous about something.
As they waited for their drinks she finally decided to speak up. "What is it you wanted to talk about Adrien?" She looked back to him and he seemed lost in thought.
"Okay, When we broke up you said it seemed like I was lying to you, you were right. I was and I'm sorry, at the very least I think you deserve to know why." Adrien looked around for a moment before lowering his voice. "I'm Chat Noir." Kagami wouldn't believe it if not for Adriens tone; he sounded completely serious.
"Your Serious? This is insane…" Kagami was having a little trouble processing this revelation. "But it makes sense, He would always show up after you disappear like you were just there. Wait a minute you came to visit me after we broke up" Kagami accused but she didn't sound too offended.
"Well yeah… but only because there was no other way you would talk to me" Kagami couldn't argue with that she had been pretty closed off and really if not for Chat or well Adrien she wasn't sure when she would have talked to him again
"I didn't tell you because I was told not to but circumstances have changed Ladybug said I could tell someone as long as I trusted them and I trust you" Adrien looked at her and she could feel her face heat up, she looked down at the table trying to hide her embarrassment of course the two guys she was crushing on would turn out to be the same person.
"So you weren't missing our dates and running away because you didn't care about me" Kagami spoke quietly though she couldn't hide the hint of relief in her voice, she knew she had to have been wrong about that but couldn't help but worry.
"Of course I care about you Kagami," Adrien replied, smiling warmly, all though there was clearly something else. "So Kagami I was wondering if-"
Adrien was cut off by the sound of people screaming which was usually a pretty good sign he was needed, the lights in the cafe went dark and when he looked out the window it was evident it wasn't just the cafe the entire city block seemed to have lost power.
"Agh dammit for once I want a supervillain to work to my schedule could we meet up in the park later? Once I've dealt with this of course." Adrien stood up getting ready to leave.
"Alright, I'll be there. No dying alright?"
"Wasn't planning on it" Adrien waved before running out as Kagami went to find somewhere safe.

This Akuma seemed to have the ability to absorb and shoot out electricity which unfortunately made them one of the more powerful Akuma's he had fought when Chat Noir arrived on the scene the area was pretty decimated but fortunately there was nobody around aside from Ladybug fighting the Akuma.
While the Akuma was fighting Ladybug, Chat pounced from behind striking him in the side and sending him to the side. "This is certainly a shocking turn of events isn't it bugaboo?" Ladybug looked up before jumping to the side dodging the electricity, "Not one of your better puns kitty" Ladybug quipped
"Yeah sorry I was kinda in the middle of something before this so hopefully we can deal with this guy quickly." The pair leaped to the side to avoid lightning bolts. "So any Idea where his item is Ladybug? Because I get the feeling I don't wanna risk getting hit by this guy."
"I think it's his watch there's nothing else that stands out but When I tried to grab it I got zapped so maybe Lucky Charm!" She called on her power and she caught a pair of rubber gloves. "Of course Rubber doesn't collect electricity, think you can distract him, kitty?"
"Do you even need to ask?" Chat smirked before tapping the Man on the shoulder with his staff. "So sparky got a name I like to know who i'm beating" Chat joked leaping out the way of another bolt of electricity.
"I am the electrocutioner!" The Akuma roared as he attacked again but not to much success chat was simply too quick.
"That's a little on the nose don't you think surely you can think of a better name than that" Chat teased as he saw Ladybug sneaking up behind electrocutioner. "You need to keep your mouth shut this is a fight!"
"Personally I think his banter is quite entertaining." Ladybug said just as she grabbed the watch, throwing it to chat, who called on his power and turned it to dust, all things considered that Akuma hadn't been too bad; the two of them handled it pretty efficiently.
"Pound it" They said in unison as they did their signature fist bump before parting ways. As Ladybug dropped her transformation, Marinette saw she had a text from Alya and her heart sank when she saw the article Alya had sent her, A photo of Adrien and Kagami at the cafe that someone had posted online and people were speculating whether they were back together.
Kagami was on her way to the park to meet up with Adrien when she heard Marinette crying she went to approach but when she saw Marinette's phone screen she decided against it, she was probably the last person Marinette wanted to see right now. There was only one thing she could do to help in this situation even if she didn't want to.

"I'm such an Idiot, of course an Akuma would attack in the middle of something so important." Adrien sighed to himself as he arrived at the park leaning against a lampost it was late and today certainly hadn't gone to plan. He just hoped Kagami would show up, he had been in a rush when he asked her to meet him here.
"You were pretty impressive out there." Adrien turned to the direction of the voice and saw Kagami with an unreadable expression on her face. "Hey."
"Uh.. hey" Adrien stood up straight trying to think of how best to say this. "So Kagami"
"Adrien," Kagami said at the same time, pausing for a moment. "Sorry you better let me go first this time… how do I say this, I was thinking about all that stuff you said earlier and I just don't think I want any sort of romantic relationship at the moment, it's probably better I don't" Kagami continued refusing to meet Adriens gaze. "I've been thinking about it alot lately and that's what I've decided. A-anyway I just wanted to let you know and… I guess that's why I came"
"Kagami-" Adrien started only to be cut off once again. "Sorry to drop it on you so suddenly, Thanks for listening and I'll see you later." Kagami didn't give Adrien anymore time to speak before she turned and ran, heading home.
"Uh.. okay, wait a minute did… she just… shoot me down?" Adrien Just let himself fall back on the grass looking up at the evening sky trying to keep his mind off it, otherwise he'd just wind up crying.

Once Kagami was out of Adrien's view she slowed to a walk and slowly but surely tears began to stream down her face.
