Season: After last chapter I kind of wanted something fluffy. Plus I am in a very happy mood due to the ending of Pokemon XY & Z.

If I wrote SatoSere fics would you guys kill or support me instead?

Narrator: Whatcha talking about! You'll be killed. Your Pearlshipper fans won't support you.

Season: ... thanks for the boost of confidence Narrator.

Narrstor: WHAT DO WE WANT!? PEARLSHIPPING! WHEN DO WE WANT IT! NOW!

Season: Okay hear me out at least. I know some Pearlshippers don't like Amour one bit but with me it's different. I personally can see a lot of similarities in Serena and Dawn. Well, okay maybe the fact they're both beautiful and care about their looks. Plus they're both performers in a way. AND NOW SERENA WILL DO CONTESTS IN HOENN. They have so much in common.

I really like Serena so it's not like I will hate on her just because the anime happened and Pearlship is "dead."

You can have multiple ships for a character without the fandom getting into wars with each other ^~^

right?

I still love you guys.

... it was just a thought okay.

On to the chapter.

Stupidity Does Not Earn You Heaven

by: Season Of Magic

Dawn realized that compared to the morning, in the afternoon Kanto Elementary was a busy place. Kids of all ages were running around.

She and Ash glanced everywhere trying to find Brianna amongst all the children.

"What's her class number?" Ash asked.

"Just look for a Kabuto." Dawn said.

"A Kabuto? Uhhhh... the fossil?"

"Bri's teacher is inside a Kabuto costume." Dawn explained.

Ash shrugged. "I don't really get it but okay."

A couple of minutes later a "Dawn over here." Was heard.

Dawn looked over and smiled with relief. "Miss Imite!"

"Hello again Dawn." Duplica returned the smile. "Brianna's class has yet to come down."

"Ah, is that so?" Dawn asked and she waved Ash over. "Might take a while." She said to him.

"There's a lot of kids so it's understandable." Ash said.

"Bill's class is usually the last one down." Duplica couldn't help to state. "He gets engrossed in his teaching."

"Thanks for letting us know." Ash said.

"No problem." Then Duplica glanced to Ash, "Hey you seem really familiar."

"I used to be a trainer." Ash said as if that answered everything.

"... alright." Duplica stated without even batting an eye.

Ash shrugged then kept glancing back and forth as if willing Brianna to appear by act of magic.

Dawn placed her hand to Ash's shoulder. "You seriously need to learn patience."

"You promised we'd go eat at that cool diner that opened up." Ash said.

Dawn sighed. "It's like you have a thousand stomachs."

Duplica laughed. "You two are adorable to watch but I have to go back to work. I'll let Brianna know you're here if I see her."

Dawn blushed. "Thank you."

Ash waved. "Bye!"

Duplica walked off.

"Of course ice cream is better." Dawn stated.

"No, it's brownies." Ash said.

"Mom!"

Brianna's voice interrupted the debate.

"Hey Bri, what do you think is better? Ice cream or brownies?" Ash quickly asked the question to Brianna and Dawn simply shook her head in disbelief.

"Hello to you too Ash." Brianna said pouting. "My school day was fine, thanks for asking."

"Don't mind him sweetie he's hungry." Dawn said.

"Your mom promised we could go to the new diner you've been having your eyes on." Ash whispered to Brianna.

Brianna's eyes quickly lit up. "The one with the fudge brownies and the forty eight different combinations of ice cream!?" She squealed.

Ash nodded. "And that's why I'm asking what you think is better." He said.

"You could ask her later," Dawn said. "You ruined the surprise."

"We have to go mom! We have to!" Brianna said as she began tugging on her mom's shirt.

Dawn laughed. "We are going so calm down. I have to go and sign you out."

Brianna began leading Dawn to a table. "Professor Bill!"

A man with green hair and a dark red suit glanced up from the table.

"Ah, Brianna did you find your mother?" He asked.

Brianna nodded. "Yes she's here to sign me out."

Bill glanced to Dawn. "Nice to formally meet you."

Dawn stared then bowed. "Likewise."

Ash glanced to the man. "It's the PokeManiac!"

"Don't be rude. He's Brianna's professor." Dawn said.

"No, no, no," Ash said. "I met him when I was younger. I assure you he was a crazy guy."

"Well he's a teacher." Dawn pointed out.

"I assure you it's not by choice." Bill said in a dry voice.

"Mom, sign the paper before he goes on one of his long stories again." Brianna said.

"Wait... Kabuto dressing professor?" Ash recalled the conversation with Dawn. "You're still wearing that?"

"The students are learning about fossils." Bill simply said. He handed Dawn a paper. "This is their permission slip."

"Bri will bring it back tomorrow." Dawn said as she took it.

"Mom let's go."

At Brianna's insistance, Dawn grabbed a pen and signed her name next to Brianna's.

"We really must get going now."

"Bye professor see you tomorrow." Brianna said waving to her teacher.

"Good bye maniac, if you're wearing the outfit again don't get stuck in it." Ash said.

Bill's face paled. He had realized who it was now. "It was one time, Ash!"

Ash grinned. "Ah so you do remember me."

"It was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life." Bill said with a sigh. "I was stuck in the hot outfit for ages."

"Well, be lucky I saved your butt or you wouldn't be teaching Bri at the moment." Ash said giving a peace sign.

"I'm hungry!" Brianna complained.

"It's like I have to be on the look out for two children." Dawn said.

"Welcome to Kanto's Diner." The front entrance hostess said.

"Thank you." Ash said. "Table for three please."

"Of course." The hostess said. "Any preferences?"

"I want a seat near a window." Brianna said.

"We have a booth in the family corner that has a nice view with a window." The hostess recommended.

"That's fine with me." Ash said.

"Us too." Brianna and Dawn agreed.

"Follow me then." The hostess said as she grabbed three menus and led them to their seats. They were placed in a four person booth that had a view of the garden outside.

"That's so pretty!" Brianna gushed as she sat down.

"You sure don't waste any time kiddo." Ash said laughing.

"It is a nice view." Dawn said as she sat next to Brianna.

Ash sat across from them in the booth. The hostess placed their menus down.

"A waiter will be back to take your order and drink choice." She said and bowed down then left.

The trio opened their menus.

"Whoa they really do have fudge brownies." Ash said amazed.

"Don't just jump into the dessert section." Dawn whispered to Ash.

"Twenty different ice cream flavors." Brianna said in a discouraged voice.

"Eh, close enough." Ash said.

"See what you did?" Dawn couldn't help to ask rethorically. "Bri, honey worry about desserts later. You said you're hungry remember?"

"I was hungry at the thought of forty eight different combinations of ice cream." Brianna admitted.

"I may love ice cream but that's not food." Dawn said.

"Fine," Brianna said as she glanced through the menu. "I'll have the Pikachu set."

"You eat almost as much as Ash. Why not pick something off the regular menu?"

"But I want omurice with *a lot* of ketchup!" Brianna whined.

Dawn took a breath and let it out. There was no winning when Brianna was involved.

"Okay you can have the Pikachu set."

"I'll have one as well." Ash said.

"Excuse the interruption but will that be your order?" A voice asked. "I'm the waiter."

Ash nodded. "Yes. Two Pikachu's sets and uhhh... what do you want hun?"

"I'll have the Pikachu set as well." Dawn said.

"Hurray!" Brianna said.

The Pikachu set was on the kid's menu and brought omurice, a yellow fizzy drink and a hard candy.

The waiter jotted it down. "I'll bring your drinks first."

"Thank you." All three of them said at the same time.

The omurice ended up being more than enough. Ash had been the one to eat most of Brianna's portion. She defended herself by saying she didn't want to eat it all and was saving space in her stomach for dessert.

Dawn had relented and decided to just let Brianna order what she wanted without complaining. Seeing Brianna's smiling face was more than worth it. She felt she was getting stares from other families in the diner but she ignored them for the most part.

Brianna and Ash were both battling it out in a friendly game of rock, paper, scissors to decide what they would order.

"Rock, paper, scissors say SHOOT!"

Brianna's scissors cut Ash's paper. With a grin she giggled.

"Wasabi on top of your ice cream." Was her answer.

Ash groaned. "I said to take it easy."

"It would have been hot sauce." Brianna stated.

"I think I'll have the hot fudge brownie on the ice cream." Dawn said with a wink.

Brianna waved her fingers. "Laaaaaaame!" She said.

"Well, I never agreed to your weird competition."

"You don't have to because you're on my side mommy."

When the waiter came by to take their order for dessert Ash was ready. "I'll have a sample cup of vanilla ice cream with wasabi on top. My regular order will be on a waffle cone and it's one scoop of vanilla with fudge, sprinkles, and peanuts."

"That's not fair!" Brianna said.

"We never agreed it had to be my regular order." Ash said with a smirk.

"He got you there Bri." Dawn said.

"I'll get my revenge." Brianna promised.
