Season: Uhmmm... Hi!? So... Short chapter because I'm still on vacation but I wanted to post something for the new year. Happy 2019 to all my lovely fans, in particular a special shoutout to KakeruPB and PokemonFreak90, without you two reviewing nearly every chapter I upload I don't think I would have the muse or will to keep writing. I hope that this year brings you both awesome things and that we can be good friends other than through reviews. Feel free to DM me if you have anything you want to talk about whether the story or Pokémon in general. I feel like spoiling you guys with previews when I write them omg! Thanks again guys!

Stupidity Does Not Earn You Heaven
by: Season Of Magic

Dawn glanced towards Ash carefully. "Ash remember to tuck Bri into bed by—"
"—Ten, yes." Ash interrupted.
"Don't give her too much—"
"—sugar, snacks in general but do give her a warm glass of chocolate milk before her bedtime. Covered." Ash replied as he interrupted her again.
Dawn fidgeted a bit. "If I'm not forgetting anything then that should be all."
"You're worrying for nothing, I got this." Ash said as he kissed her on the lips. "Go and have fun."
"We'll be back by—" Dawn began and Ash interrupted again.
"—Eleven at latest." He replied back. "I remember."
May wanted to roll her eyes. "Stop that. It's creepy." She said as she took her clutch. "Dawn let's go before Ash turns into a robot. When he does, he's Bri's problem not ours."
Dawn giggled. "Right." She said as she took her purse and glanced to Ash and Brianna. "If anything happens, anything at all—"
"—Call Gary, since he's the closest thing to a doctor we have?" Ash stated as he interrupted yet again.
"No!" Dawn said appalled. "You call me."
Ash smiled. "I was joking. Seriously stop worrying so much and go have fun. Me and Bri are going to have a blast."
Dawn sighed. "Behave."
"Me or him?" Brianna couldn't help but wonder.
"... Both." Dawn said as May literally dragged her out the house.
"If you were so worried about me you'd be bringing me with you! I'm a girl too." Brianna reminded her
"Girl's night out means girl's night without kids. You're a kid." May couldn't help but say. "Behave, fall asleep early, blah blah blah." She winked as she waved and closed the door.
Brianna laughed. Her mom and May were just too much sometimes.
"I give them an hour before they're back." Ash said grinning. "Those two won't make it through the night."
"Half an hour." Brianna betted.
"You're on. But what do we do until then?" Ash couldn't help but wonder.
"We can watch a movie. I've wanted to see The Mummy now's my chance."
"We are notwatching a scary movie." Ash said as he made the way to the kitchen to prepare popcorn. One snack and a sugary drink would be fine as long as they didn't overdo it.
"What are we watching then?"
"It's a secret." Ash said placing a finger to his lips as he hit the popcorn button and watched the square item he placed on she microwave rise. Once it was done he took it out and opened it then placed the buttery goodness into a bowl and then went to look for two soda cans. He took everything back to the living room.
Brianna plopped down unto the couch and munched on the popcorn as she waited to see what movie they'd be watching. As Ash placed the DVD into the player she squealed. The cover of the case was three animated characters; a fairy and what looked like two princesses. But Brianna knew better.
"Barbie & The Secret Door!" She exclaimed excitedly.
Ash grinned. "Yep. I heard from someone you haven't seen this one yet."
"You heard correctly." She said as she took a sip of the soda. She patted the seat next to her. "So let's get this show on the road!"
Ash and Brianna were about forty minutes into the movie, they were getting into the middle of the plot and were about to find out where the evil character was getting her powers from.
"From the scepter!" Someone in the movie said, gasps were heard. All of a sudden the front door opened which gave Ash and Brianna a fright. Ash hit pause.
"You two are back sooner than I thought." He said.
"It hasn't even been an hour." Brianna said sticking out her tongue. "I win."
"Why are you back so soon?" Ash asked curiously.
"Well, we got to the place and we realized that it wasn't really a girl's night out if we didn't have our best girl with us." May said.
"Sooooooowe ran out and came back as soon as we could." Dawn said. "But we stopped by for pizza and ice cream first because well, what girl's night would it be without pizza and ice cream?"
"In conclusion..." May began. "— We're hosting girl's night here!" Dawn interrupted as she smushed herself in between Ash and Brianna. "You're an honorary guest Ash."
"We were here first. You two are the guests because we're having movie night." Ash stated.
Brianna grinned. "You brought a peace offering so we forgive you."
Gasps filled the air again as Ash hit play on the movie.
"That better not be a scary movie!" Dawn stated.
"It's not." Ash said as he hit rewind and got it to start again. "Just watch."
"It's Barbie isn't it?" May guessed as she watched the animated movie start.
"The Secret Door."
"Door leads to a secret Barbie?" May asked confusedly.
"Alexa finds a secret door." Ash said.
"Not Barbie?"
"Barbie's name in this movie is Alexa..." Was all Brianna said as she grabbed a slice of pizza and watched until 'What's Gonna Happen', the main character's song came on. Then she tuned out the rest of what she had seen. When they were forty minutes in again, she tuned back into the movie to watch the rest. She had eaten about two and a half slices.
When the movie finally ended, May and Dawn were bawling their eyes out.
"She finally came out her shell!" May said.
"So proud of you Alexa!" Dawn replied, instantly agreeing.
Brianna nodded and agreed as well. "Another great movie."
"We can see why you're obsessed with these films." Dawn said.
"I should have invited Gary over to torture him..." Ash said. The three girls looked at him and he scratched his head. "I mean... it was good. Just not my type of movie you know?"
"Guys don't get it." May said laughing.
"Well, thanks for watching it with Bri anyways." Dawn said.
"Of course. I got to spend time with my munchkin that's good enough for me." Ash replied smiling then he glanced to the clock. "Which reminds me, time for bed young lady."
"Half an hour more?" Brianna pleaded with puppy eyes.
"Ten minutes, tops." Ash said. "I have to get your chocolate milk warmed up so go brush your teeth while I do that."
Brianna pouted. "I never get to have fun."
"We just watched your favorite movie and you had popcorn and pizza. How is that not fun?" Ash asked.
"Well, I tried." Brianna said with a shrug as she got up from the couch and went up the stairs to go brush her teeth.
"Do we even deserve such a good kid like Bri?" May asked.
"Probably not but that's what makes it all the much more worthwhile." Dawn said.
