Moon and sun return chapter 9- awakenings
This chapter will cover the last few episodes last part of 7 and 8 and 9 of season 2
Back half of 16-18
There will be major plot changes due to the reincarnation and other element I will reveal in this chapter

Rayla pov
as I descended, I saw human soldiers preparing to attack the dragon. It was the knight brother Soren that first met my blades. But this time, I felt my body starting to heat up. It was when the knights began to encircle me, that the voice in my head rang within me and said "my name is Zangetsu. Call out loud 'split the sky Zangetsu.' Then you will feel the first of the white dragon's power." I then out loud said what he wanted me to do and on doing so, my body started to feel lighter. As the voice said, "I don't have time to explain it just fight and I will do so later."
As I began to clash blades, I began to feel stronger with each strike and knew what I did was somehow increasing my strength. Then I tried to cut the chain around the dragon but failed as the voice said, "you will either need more power or wait for another chance." It wasn't long that, someone that might be able to help came in the form of Callum. As he used a dark magic spell to turn the chains into snakes and free the dragon. But doing so made him pass out. but I knew I would need to help the dragon recover first. But as I did Soren came on to me and I didn't have a chance to raise my blades. The knight then told me what the dragon did, but that only gave the dragon time to wake up.
When it did the dragon slammed Soren with its tail into a rock, but Zym came down and somehow told the dragon to stop. Then it stared at me as the voice said "that dragon is seeing you as a next potential ruler of dragons. But I will explain that later." It was then the dragon flew off to leave us." Claudia was then about come after Zym, until she saw her brother clearly broken. As he said, "I can't move." Then with that, I knew he could've been paralyzed. But I knew, we had to escape and as soon as we could.
Callum pov
While Rayla said to keep going, I tried but the drain from the dark magic was affecting me as the voice in my head said "well you passed a test but that means your final test will be very soon. But you won't like it. I can also say using a dark magic spell that big wasn't the smartest idea but the right choice in this case." It wasn't much longer that the pair of the elf and my brother got me into a cover area. but I was still uncomfortable, and it wasn't long that I blacked out.
The next place I woke up, was on a pile of keys with the woman in white staring over me. she then said, "one of these keys will open they next path you need to take." It was then I found a red light in the pile. Then when I reached in, it was the cube and the rune light up was for dark magic. I didn't want dark magic, so I threw the cube and a strange, hooded person caught it. only for the women in white to drive them out.
Rayla pov
It wasn't after we finally got the delirious Callum down. I met the chain using man again but he on seeing Ezran, he put his chain down and said their aunt Maya sent him. but it was Ezran that looked at me and said "what's with your back. you have wings." I then asked, "I have what now?" the voice in my head said "you gained the sacred gear divine dividing, or the White Dragon Emperor's Light Wings. For now, you can hide them by saying 'mend the sky.' Then they will vanish until you release them again. for now, I can say these wings are a gift to aid you from another world. The sacred gear divine dividing can the power of its opponents by half after coming into physical contact with them every 10 seconds. The halved powers are then added to his/her own powers. If the added power exceeds the amount that the wielder can safely contain, the excess energy is then expelled out through the wings. You will be able to fly with the wings once you figure that part out on your own." I then sealed the wings and told Ezran that I will give a full explanation once Callum wakes up.
It was after that I said command to seal the wings and then let the man get close to the boy. For him to reveal Ezran is the new king, but the boy didn't take the news of his father's death very well. the boy clearly needed to deal with things his own way and took a walk alone to clear his head. When I wanted to go with the boy, the voice in my head said "let him go you will have your own things to deal with. the dream cycle will begin as soon as you sleep."
Callum pov
but as soon as she did, a darkness came over her body and a scythe form her hands as she attacked. Then another version of me appeared to say, "we need time alone." It was then she vanished as the other me tried to tell me dark magic wasn't wrong. but I asked, "why did they s lady attack me then?" he replied that's because she resisted me too much. He then kept trying to push me to use more dark magic. He tried to convince me it was my destiny to go down the path of darkness. But my father came in and said I didn't have to follow that path. I then rejected the dark version of me as a red claw appeared on my hand and shot a red blast at him. I was then my father left and the white woman returned and said you passed the first stage now for the second.
Rayla pov
As the tracker was with me freaking out, I suggested he left to track down the new king. As I sat with Callum, the dark aura around him seemed to leave as the voice in my head said, "the red dragon is starting to wake up within that boy." I then heard him whisper the word "dance." Before silencing again. the voice then said, "from now on call me Zangetsu, since you can hear my name." it wasn't much longer that Corvus returned saying Ezran was eaten by a Banther, but I just told him, "Your king likely just is riding the Banther. He can talk with animals."
Callum pov
After the woman told me, "For the next stage of our journey we will need a boat." Then he met the captain again he turned me into a sail as he crossed the sea. The next thing I experienced was crossing the sea in the storm again. but during that, I seemed to hear Rayla reassuring me. the voice said, "that's your connection to the white dragon, as he started to wake up your connection has got stronger." I then knew to grab the wheel as the scene changed to me holding the primal stone again. but I broke it, and it reformed in my hands. Then I was back in the ocean on a broken boat as the captain left and I sank into to the sea. As I was sinking, I felt a darkness coming from the castle.
Then the next thing I heard was my mother's voice telling me to breath. She told me taking a breath could help me get through all the drama I was going through. Then she told me she loved me and said, "wake up now." Then I heard the voice of the woman said my name is Sode no Shirayuki. Say dance, Sode no Shirayuki to use the power of the red dragon. You just passed the final test. You are the new red dragon emperor."
I then woke up as Rayla was about to say something important. I also knew I understood the sky arcanum and how to use sky magic as well. I then began to explain her what I learned as I tried to us sky magic by myself for the first time. I knew I had to breath in and exhale the rune. The first person I hit with said wind was my brother and he came back to get dragon kisses. It was after that Rayla caught me up with all that happened and that this man was on our side as my brother was going to have to become the new king soon. then I soon felt a burst of dark magic from the town and wondered what was happening.
It was then I knew I would have to test the other power I got as I said "dance, Sode no Shirayuki." After that a red metal glove seemed to appear over my hand as the voice said "for short you can call me Shirayuki. Just say, end dance to release the glove. The gauntlet is called Boosted Gear and will allow you to double any power you have every ten seconds and even pass that power to others. The power doubled includes physical strength and magic power as well. so, use it with caution." I then sealed the gauntlet. As my brother looked and said "so that is what Zym mentioned about you two being the white and red dragon emperors. But he never knew what that really meant." I then said to my brother, I am still not sure what it means either. As Rayla more or less said the same.
It was then, my brother knew he needed to part with us and take up his role as the king. Ezran then prepared to part with us and said sorry for not teaching the young dragon to fly. But Rayla said "him and I can learn to fly together. Since I have my own wings now." It was after that, my brother left with the tracker as Rayla took me down the path to Xadia.
The elf girl then took us to a river of lava and prevented us from just walking as she explained how to find the path. At the same time, I released boosted gear again and began to build boosting to my strength. It was then the clouds moved a revealed a path for us to cross. but as soon as we started the sun began to rise and Rayla told me we would have to hurry before it was too late. For the last leg the sun was in our way and Zym flew up to block the light but was struggling to do so. Then as he was almost there the dragon fell and Shirayuki said in my head, "now is the time to transfer your boosts to that dragon. Say 'transfer' and point the blast to Zym." I then did as she said and helped the dragon reach the point to sit and block to the sun so we could cross. on getting into Xadia a large bird landed before us and turned into the very naked human form of Tamaki. He then said, "now let's make our way to Anima city."
Chapter end
The next chapter will have our heroes learn more about their special dragon abilities in the city of beast people and learn what other dangers Xadia holds as well
But first the two UA failures will have to do their make up test as the dragon gear holders make their way into the exclusion zone and learn what they have to face within.
