10. Chapter 10

Moon and sun return chapter 10-land of magic, memory, and beasts

This chapter will have lots of major changes from the source and only use episode 19 for story base

I will also use elements and character from dr stone and BNA for this chapter as well.

There will be info dumps as well as other new plot points

Callum pov

It was not long after crossing the bridge and Tamaki getting dressed, we spotted a large dragon and Tamaki said "we have two options against him, one is you us your balance breakers or we can sneak past him. I normally sneak past him when he is close to Anima city by shifting to something small and ditching until I get into the city and get a new set inside the barrier then get back the old set when he sleeps. But he isn't too hard to sneak past if we can be quiet." Then Rayla told me how he got blinded fighting a dark mage and lost the king of dragons' role. We then explained about not knowing what balance breaker was and got in turn from the now clothed dog boy "professor Senku will have to explain that. He is going give you a long lecture when he gets past the big lug. But I have to help you'll sneak so I can show you the barrier hole."

Rayla pov

We soon tried to sneak past, but Zym didn't want to be quiet, and we had to try diplomacy. It seemed to work until Callum tried to convince the dragon and the dark magic scent on him still lingered. But the dog boy talked like the parrot. Try your sacred gears now maybe revealing your status as dragon emperors will change his mind. We had to try and change his mind before his fire breath recharged. We then came up with the trick of using our sacred gears along with our raw abilities to try and escape the dragon. With me using Callum's smelly scarf to try and outrun the dragon until I got trapped in rock. But Callum used his boosted magic to blow away his scarf and give me the chance to escape with his help.

Then the dog boy took us to a place to hide and said "that deaf lady that looks like Callum got captured by the sun elves. But since she saved one, the woman should be safe for a while at least." Callum wanted to save her but knew getting the dragon prince back was more important. It was then the boy took us into a cave and revealed it the mountain really held a giant city as the illusion faded. I then saw so many huge stone buildings that amazed me with their sheer height.

Callum pov

As we saw we walked around the city, Tamaki told us "Ignore the stares the people in the city don't see many regular humans and even fewer elves and the big blind dragon scares most of the locals. But among the city, three can challenge him, my mom, my dad and professor Senku." I then asked the white furred dog boy "where are you taking us?" he replied "to my mom, she is a mayor of the city. Since two of the three of you are VIP's, you will get to rest in luxury and take baths and eat good food. That ramen you left was okay, but I can treat you to good food on both the herbivore and carnivore sides. Then tomorrow you will learn from professor Senku, and he will explain to you what you have to do."

The boy then walked us through a market and gave us some quirk food. The baby dragon was more than happy to eat it and Rayla was happy to eat so many different fruits and asked, "where do all these strange fruits grow in this stone jungle?" Tamaki replied "professor Senku helped with all of that. There are indoor and outdoor gardens and farms all throughout the city. If you need money, there are many merchants and shops that we trade outside goods."

Rayla said, "I have moon berry juice." Then the boy said "that stuff sells for good money. Even a few drops are worth a so much. But I have things to trade so you don't have to, and my mom will cover your stay tonight." It wasn't much longer that we met a woman that looked like an older, more female, and more colorful version of the boy. She then told us her name was Michiru, and her sadly my husband is trying to make peace between the various elf nations. I think he may be close to one of the moon shadow territories. It was after that Michiru took Rayla with her to a bath and Tamaki took me and Zym to get a bath. I then left my cloths in a pile as the boy said, "a butler will take and wash them for you and leave something for you to wear while waiting."

it was the night after that, I began to have dream after dream about being a girl a poor girl. Then shifted to another stage of life were a l met a man, I soon learned was my father. My life then changed it hit its next stage and I suffered my first tragic moment. Then it shifted again as I was imprisoned. Then it shifted again as a boy that felt like Rayla saved me. then again as I tried to save that same boy. Then again as I ended up losing that boy to another women.

Rayla pov

While in the bath the women told me about city and how some of the beast people needed to eat animals they raised, and others didn't. by that point I accepted humans eating animal meat but still wouldn't do it myself. Then after that we sleep in the same room, and I could rest well without having to be on guard. It was that night that a dream that I was a boy and met a very short girl and before I could learn my name the dream ended, and I woke up in tears.

Then came the next day and we met a strange man that turned between a human and dog form and then one like a humanoid dragon. Tamaki told us he was professor Senku and that he helped this city run and had little free time. The man then told Callum and I, that my wings and Callum's Gauntlet were magic items known as sacred gear of the highest order that could kill dragons and gods with ease. He then told us we would need to master the levels of power the gear to use their higher levels. we would need to grow stronger before somebody ignites the fires of war. When I asked who would want to do so the man said the one connected to your cube.

It was after that, everybody sent us on our way to hope to get Zym back to his mothers before it was too late. We knew something was coming and our journey would have to keep going as I would have to guide the boy; I was likely to grow closer to. I wasn't sure much about love between elves and humans. but I was sure I would fall into it soon.

I wanted this to be a shorter buffer chapter but did add some stuff I wanted to. In the next chapter one prince will learn how hard it is being king while another learns what moon shadow elves do to those that betray them.

But first class 1A will get involved in the school festival while Emilia is on her own mission and is about to return. And try to show off to the other classes
