Chapter 19: Taking Control of The Precious Life! Immense Earthy Willpower & The Vicious Lightning of Influence! Lucy vs. Kanata, Part 2!

Lucy joined Sting and Kirie in simply smiling at Risa, glad that her attack made Kanata seem to be moderately injured with several bruises on her body while some of the wounds had blood lightly dripping from them, and Lucy was surprised that a rookie like Risa had another powerful spell to use. That spell was known as Extrasensory Psychic Soul Destruction, and Risa aimed at the blast with her right hand to absorb its power before moving her hand towards the other protagonists. She used its side effect of pushing the user with psychic power to push herself close to the area where Lucy was located, since that would make it easier for Risa to help her. Risa quickly ran over to the spot where Lucy was weakly walking towards Kanata, and she shot out a thin pink beam of energy from her mouth. Risa hit Lucy with her healing spell, using more power than normal to where it healed many of Lucy's wounds while restoring her energy, and she hoped that enhancing her healing spell would also help Lucy regain some magical power.

Lucy slowly felt herself be standing without her body feeling any pain, and she gave Risa a confident smile. Even though her legs were still a bit shaky, Lucy was smiling as she felt herself have enough magical power for one more spell. That prompted Lucy to immediately activate her fifth spell of Earth Magic, which was known as Earthy Healing, and she built up all of her magical power. An orange aura started to engulf Lucy's body, before it engulfed her left hand, and Lucy tightly clenched her left fist. She walked past Risa with he fist clenched, and Lucy went to the church's aisle to look straight at Kanata. The blonde-haired priestess was surprised to see Lucy punch the ground with her clenched fist, and several thin orange beams of energy gently entered Lucy's body. Lucy felt herself get healed even more to where the amount of magical power in her body was more immense, and the high amount of strength in her clenched fist began to break the ground apart.

Kanata tried to run towards Lucy with her high speed, only to see Lucy put her hand down into the puddle of bubbling mud that had been beside her, and Lucy surprised Kanata by simply flinging several clumps of mud at her body. The scalding hot mud struck Kanata in the face while some of it even made burns occur on other parts of her body, and she was forced to stop running. That gave Lucy the opportunity to activate her sixth spell of Earth Magic, which was called Sherbet Soft Clay, and a gooey ball of cocoa brown clay appeared in Lucy's left hand. She stuffed the brown clay into her mouth, before chewing and swallowing it, and Lucy jumped quite high to avoid the shaky ground.

That made Kanata feel like she had the perfect opportunity to hit Lucy, and she made a yellow aura surround her body for a few seconds. Kanata placed her hands together as if she was praying, and the priestess focused her magical power on converting itself into lightning! The aura itself became a mass of electricity that was shaped like an arrow while Kanata fired it to go straight towards Lucy, but the moment that she sent it towards Lucy was the same exact moment where Risa smiled in a confident manner with her right hand stretched out. Kanata smirked arrogantly while looking at Lucy, only to see her attack strike the skylight for it to bounce down and create a large yellow explosion of lightning that also created a bright yellow flash of light, but Kanata wondered what had happened for Lucy to not get hit by that attack. It missed hitting her by only a few inches, but Kanata thought that her perfect aim couldn't possibly have been off. She looked astounded from seeing her powerful spell explode without causing Lucy and pain, but looking over at Risa for a moment to faintly see the pink aura in her hand made Kanata angrily narrow her eyes as she looked furious. Risa had weakly used her spell called Stellar Psi to move Kanata a few inches to her left, and that minimal psychic movement made her spell that flew straight end up going off-course to not hit its target.

"You worthless piece of filth! You must really want to die, if you think that a mere mortal such as you can interfere with the actions of a goddess!" Kanata angrily told Risa, as she aimed her left hand at her with lightning crackling around it.

Risa told Kanata in a serious tone while being snarky, as she recalled the effect of Lucy's most recent spell, "You can be mad at me for that, but things really aren't looking up for you."

Lucy exclaimed with a fierce facial expression, as she fell down and made herself land right in front of Kanata, "Don't turn your attention away from our fight, you cruel priestess! In fact, a battle between a human and a goddess sounds exhilarating to me!"

As cracks started to form around Lucy and Kanata, Kirie thought to herself with an amazed facial expression from seeing Lucy still want to fight, "Wow... Even after seeing the power of the Sacred Lightning spell, she still wants to fight so hard against my mother. This girl... truly has willpower and fierce inner strength."

Lucy watched all of the large cracks form in the earth, and she quickly leaped back several feet to be near her puddle of mud while watching orange blasts of Earth Magic occur around Kanata. The priestess screamed in agonizing pain from feeling the powerful blasts damage her body, and she was sent flying upward from being hit by some chunks of earth that were sent up from the ground. Those pieces of earth exploded after hitting her, and Kanata harshly fell down to crash into the rubble. Lucy's blasts had destroyed some of the brown benches, as well as knocking the possessed cult members off-balance to where they fell down before quickly getting back up, and she simply watched the orange clouds of smoke fade away.

The smoke cleared up to reveal that Kanata wasn't done, though, and she applied Lightning Magic to her feet while furiously glaring at Lucy. She hastily ran through all of the rubble while clenching her fists as if she wanted to choke Lucy while electrocuting her, and Kanata placed her hands together. She sent her Lightning Magic into them to activate a spell Divine Lightning's Electric Discharge. Kanata made a yellow aura surround her body again, and she surprised Lucy by jumping up high to do a few forward flips on midair as she strangely only shot out yellow beams of lightning when she could look upward during her flips. Kanata watched her seven beams rapidly come down from the skylight to strike Lucy while they were all in a pastel shade of yellow, and Lucy screamed in excruciating pain from feeling the lightning electrocute her body.

Kanata smirked in a vicious manner from seeing Lucy get caught in those yellow blasts, each successive one having more power than the first one, and the priestess watched Lucy fall to her knees as the lightning surrounded her body. Lucy couldn't even lift a finger without feeling paralyzed by the lightning that continued to electrocute her, and she simply tried to build up her magical power again. To make matters worse, Kanata sent magical power into her hands to absorb the waves of electrical energy that were still in midair to where the yellow aura that engulfed her body was quite large to where she could easily eliminate any of the trashy nuisances. Upon seeing Risa gasp in shock at how Lucy's body was now paralyzed, Kanata decided to kill her before killing Lucy or Kirie.

"I'll gladly silence you for thinking that you could disrupt one of the rightful killings from the beautiful goddess, you disgusting mage!" Kanata fiercely told Risa with a malicious frown on her face, as she ran towards her at high speeds with electricity engulfing her hands.

Risa thought to herself with a scared and startled facial expression from seeing Kanata be right in front of her, prompting her to immediately leap back as she turned around to run to the church's aisle, "Lucy's paralyzed, and the priestess is too close and too fast for me to use Stellar Psi! I'm... I'm going to be killed!"

"Risa, face the opponent and concentrate your magic into your eyes! Show me how cool you are, kid!" A woman's voice sternly exclaimed from within Risa's thoughts, which made her eyes widen with realization from how a memory suddenly resurfaced.

That caused Risa to narrow her cherry red eyes while sending her magic into them, and Risa's eyes started to change from being cherry red to being light pink. She felt the energy go down into her hands, but Risa combined it with the energy of the pink orb that she hastily created in her right hand. As soon as Kanata was about to strike her with two beams of the Sacred Lightning Spell, Risa put her hands next to each other and fired a beam that ended up being in two shades of pink! The orb in Risa's hand merged with this spell to create the part of the spiraling beam that was in a normal shade of pink while the other part of the beam was magenta pink, and Risa was glad to use this move known as Psychic Magenta Hexing Flames.

Risa's attack struck Kanata directly, causing her to scream in pain from its power while the spell also left behind several magenta pink flames that were crackling alongside flames in the regular shade of pink, and Kanata was sent crashing into a wall behind her. Risa ended up landing on a bench, panting heavily from using that powerful spell while her hands were engulfed in a magenta pink aura, but even the sight of that large magenta pink blast followed by a blast in the regular shade of pink wouldn't make Risa feel like she could relax. As her eyes became cherry red again, she looked down at the magenta pink aura. She interestingly inhaled the aura, before firing a magenta pink beam at Lucy, and Risa decided that she would boost the power of her healing spell. She watched it hit Lucy, and the magenta pink aura engulfed Lucy's body to where her wounds quickly healed. White clouds of steam sizzled upward from all of the injuries that were healed, and Lucy quickly stood back up while no longer being paralyzed by Kanata's electricity.

Kanata quickly emerged from the smoke with an enraged look on her face while having many more bruises and burns on her body, even bloody wounds on her arms and legs as she was seeming quite annoyed with Risa to where she would die soon, but running towards Risa only left Kanata vulnerable to Lucy's seventh spell of Earth Magic. That spell was known as Rocky Earth Implosion, and Lucy aimed her right hand at the chunks of earth that were still in the church. Lucy watched those pieces of earth start to be surrounded by the orange aura, and she directed them to go towards Kanata. The priestess gasped in shock from how several of the brown rocks came together to form a dome of earth around her body, trapping her in an earthy dome like she was a prisoner instead of a priestess, and Kanata angrily slammed her fists against the rocks. She attempted to use the Thunderous Beam spell, only to see that beam go to the top of the dome like the highest stone was a lightning rod, and Kanata watched the rocks start to glow in a sherbet orange color with orange beams of light emanating from them. In a few seconds, the rocks all detonated to create an orange blast that was massive! Kanata screamed in excruciating pain from the power of this attack, as the blast sent her flying to where the dense leftover rocks hit her to create smallr blasts inside of the larger one, and Lucy even heard Kanata cough up some blood. As Lucy thought that she finally won, she briefly turned her attention to the sight of Sting still dodging Yukino's electrified punches.

Sting kept dodging every punch that Yukino threw at him while noticing how electricity from Lightning Magic appeared to be surrounding her fist, and the white dragon slayer did not want to harm a fellow mage from Sabertooth. If Sting ended up using the Holy Nova attack on Yukino, then he would probably end up killing her. At the same time, though, Sting didn't want to die here. He just kept leaping back quickly while being near the church's entrance with Yukino and Kirie nearby, but Sting couldn't just keep defending himself without finding some way to retaliate against Kanata's puppet.

He dodged to the right, only to feel Yukino aggressively kick him in the chest with her left foot, and Sting was sent flying backwards to where he felt pain from crashing into some of the cult members who stood against the walls with their lemon yellow eyes showing no emotion. The fact that Yukino ran towards Sting and threw five punches at him to where he became viciously electrocuted from being hit quite hard in the chest was something that really displayed how he didn't want to hit Yukino, but seeing her create a yellow orb in her left hand really showed Sting that Yukino was very serious about wanting to kill him.

As Yukino slammed that orb on to the ground for it to create several yellow thunderbolts of electricity that went towards Sting, the white dragon slayer jumped up into the air to avoid them. He watched Yukino turn around to try using that against Kirie, who looked quite scared, and that made Sting sternly narrow his blue eyes. He could no longer show mercy towards Yukino, since was trying to kill the client, and Sting activated his Holy Ray attack. He gathered a large amount of white light in his hands, before creating a circle with his hands to release the light in the form of many beams that emerged from the circle, and those beams were aimed down at Yukino.

Sting watched her be hit by the attacks that created large white blasts, hoping that would knock out Yukino, but some of the blasts faded away for him to see Yukino fire the Thunderous Beam spell from her right hand. Sting ended up being hit by her attack that created a yellow explosion of lightning, which prompted Risa to use the Astral Psi spell on Yukino to raise her high into the air, and Sting groaned in pain while seeing Yukino be in the air. Risa quickly raised her right hand all the way up, making Yukino's head lightly touch the church's skylight for a moment, and Risa quickly brought her hand down to her right side. That caused Yukino to quickly fall from the air, harshly having her abdomen slam down on to a brown bench, and Sting also fell down to the ground. He quickly got up to calmly look at Risa, who panted heavily as she noticed his stare.

"Master... Don't think of her as Yukino, and focus on how she's a puppet tainted by the horrible... Lightning Magic of that... evil priestess." Risa explained to him in a calm manner, as she panted heavily.

Sting exclaimed to Yukino with a fierce look on his face, as he saw her quickly get up with electricity starting to surround her body, "Yukino, you can't be fully possessed like a puppet! We're your friends from Sabertooth, and you can't just keep attacking us like we're your worst enemies!"

Kanata replied evilly as she slowly stepped out of the smoke that was clearing up, her body being badly bruised as Sting's words made her smirk menacingly at him, "You came all this way to save your friend, but your words can't reach her. The girl that you're fighting is now a husk of a woman, almost like a witch who loves using my beautiful Lightning Magic! She's a puppet who's completely loyal to the will of her goddess!"

Yukino told Sting in a resentful tone while aiming her left hand at him, "All enemies of Kanata-sama are sinners who must be punished to where they'll die, and their magic will be free from being wielded by filth."

Kanata cackled while having immense pleasure in her yellow eyes, not even trying to hide her vicious smirk, and she watched Yukino fire the Thunderous Beam spell again. Sting was quick to counter that with his White Dragon's Holy Breath attack. Sting smiled from seeing his white light overpower Yukino's lightning to where the attack also struck her directly, but seeing Yukino only be somewhat bruised with only small bloody wounds on her body made Sting widen his eyes in disbelief. Not only was Yukino more durable now, but she seemed to have no fear with taking on Sting's attacks.

He struck her with the White Dragon's Roar at full power, only to see Yukino growl in an angered manner while a yellow aura engulfed her body, and she created a yellow ring in her right hand. The large yellow ring started to float above her right hand, and several yellow beams of lightning emerged from the ring as she thrusted her arm towards Sting. This spell was simply known as Electric Archer, and Yukino intended for her beams to definitely hit their target like an archer firing arrows. Sting leaped over benches to dodge Yukino's projectiles, before being surprised at how she suddenly appeared in front of him with Lightning Magic surrounding her feet, and Yukino brutally kicked Sting towards Risa!

As Sting crashed into Risa and knocked her down, Risa also got to hear Rogue groan in frustration from having to use his Shadow Dragon's Roar attack on the mage who was the enemy that he was fighting outside of the church. Upon seeing Yukino charge towards Sting again, Risa quickly got in between them and glared at Yukino. Risa followed her own advice of not imagining this girl as Yukino, prompting her to imagine the possessed mage as a girl who just stole the last pink robe from her at a sale, and she aggressively tackled Yukino down to the ground. That only made Yukino kick Risa off of her, making the pink-haired girl cough up a bit of blood, and Risa winced in a bit of pain as she closed her eyes to take her mind off of how Yukino immediately chose to choke her with one hand while using electricity to viciously shock her. Sting got up to strike Yukino in the abdomen with light surrounding his fist, pushing his punch quite hard against Yukino's six-pack abs to where his powerful light-infused punch created a white explosion, and Risa was quickly dropped to the ground before rolling away to avoid the blast. As it faded away quickly to reveal that Yukino's robe was badly torn to where Sting could see her toned body and new muscles, he felt curious about something that was much more unsettling that Yukino not caring about any bruises that she was receiving.

"Kanata, do you mind giving us some info for a minute? Why are these cultists not just possessed? Why do they express so much malice, resentment, seem so evil, and even have such a major lack of fear towards our attacks?" Sting asked her with a curious facial expression, as Yukino ran towards him at high speeds while letting out a hateful scream as she looked very vengeful.

That prompted Kanata to reply with an arrogant smile on her face, as she focused her magical power to influence Yukino into using her high speed to restrain Sting from behind, "Since you meager worms will soon die, anyway, I'll be happy to be a priestess who speaks full truths. To answer your question, they aren't just possessed because that would be too boring without them carrying out child hunts or recruiting other mages for our goal of freeing magic from all the trashy people in Fiore who think differently than us. Secondly, all the resentment they have is amplified by my beautiful Lightning Magic. The congregation of resentful and malicious servants only expresses hatred, since I can force their minds into only thinking about their hateful thoughts that get amplified to where they won't hesitate to kill anyone who opposes me. Not only does it make these puppets easy to control, but it's glorious that I can do whatever I want to them. I can have ceremonies where the brainwashed and disposable people kill each other, I can make love to the cutest girls in my cult as I enhance their Lightning Magic, and I can even force them to fight when they don't want to. My wonderful Lightning Magic doesn't taint the minds and hearts of my pawns, but its glorious power from a lovely deity such as myself enhances them to be my loyal cult of resentful followers who desire to kill all mages who oppose us with unacceptable actions or ways of thinking that defy our views."

Sting told Kanata with an extremely displeased look on his face, before simply asking her something as he was disgusted at her words "Shut the hell up, bitch! Do you have any idea what you've done to these people, you twisted piece of crap!?"

Risa added while slowly standing up, giving Kanata an intensely fierce glare as her fists were clenched, "Don't even try to act like this is a joke, you nasty priestess! You're... you're completely horrible! Possessing people and forcing them to fight when they don't want to... Taking over their minds to where they can't think for themselves at all, and you'd even sacrifice them... These people have been giving their lives for your twisted goal, but you call them your pawns as you carry out child hunts to hurt innocent people. Well, no one's going to look up to you as a goddess after we take you down! We won't lose to disgrace of a deity like you, Kanata!"

As Risa's words made Kanata start to look quite miffed at her while Lucy looked just as displeased as Sting from hearing how Kanata only saw her cult members as pawns for her horrible desires, Kirie gasped in a very surprised manner from hearing Risa's speech. She sounded like the type of person who strongly believed that people could create their lives on their own without guidance from any gods or goddesses, and Kirie's eyes were filled with amazement from how mages such as Risa and Lucy kept standing up after Kanata and Yukino kept trying to knock them down.

Risa was especially inspiring, since she always took fate into her own hands by using the psychic energy of her spells to disrupt Kanata during the battle while doing that of her own free will, and Kirie even had admiration in her eyes from recalling how Risa truly showed her human strength by activating a seemingly powerful spell that was in a magenta aura instead of thinking about how anyone else would've probably been too scared with the feeling of fear to even think of trying to take on Kanata when she absorbed lightning.

Kirie also looked at Lucy to see her charging up a high amount of magical power to where the orange aura of Earth Magic engulfed her body, and the fact that her fists tightly were clenched with an intense amount of strength reminded Kirie of how Lucy told her that Kanata would see the strength of her willpower while also bringing up how the Sabertooth mages were able to freely think for themselves. Sting even stepped on Yukino's foot to break free from her, and he threw her to the ground with no hesitation. That made Kirie start to sadly frown a bit as she silently started to think about how stealing a precious item from her mother was the first time that she ever truly thought for herself without being influenced by her mother or the former priestess, and Kirie began to look down at her clothes as she couldn't continue being a follower who refused to take control of her life in any way.

-Kirie's Flashback, one year ago-

Kirie stood barefoot in front of a gold-framed mirror with Kanata also being barefoot behind her while they were in one of the church's rooms that Kanata ordered to strictly be closed for other wizards to not be there when she was in there, and Kirie always felt nervous when Kanata would order her to get elegant clothes from the church's coat racks instead of the fashion store's supposedly low-class clothing. The priestess didn't steal from the fashion store for her to secretly banned without Kirie knowing about it, but Kanata certainly stole her daughter's freedom when it came to picking out clothes. Kirie was sternly ordered to remove the yellow midriff shirt that she wanted to have, along with the light yellow jeans that a female follower had put in here, and Kanata picked out a simple yellow dress with a pastel yellow miniskirt for her to wear.

Kirie groaned in frustration from having to take off the clothes that she tried to pick out for herself again, and she merely frowned in disappointment as she stripped down to be in her lacy white bra that matched her lacy white underwear. Kirie watched Kanata place the dress in front of her body, seeing that it would perfectly fit her daughter, and Kanata even placed an elegant white hat with two gold ribbons on her head. The dress may have looked appealing to Kanata, but Kirie didn't want to wear it. She tried to defiantly walk towards the bed that one of the brown walls matching the brown floor of this room, but Kirie's act of defiance was met with Kanata slipping one of her fingers into the back of Kirie's panties before she tugged on her underwear with three more fingers to aggressively pull them back to where Kirie couldn't move forward.

Kanata pulled Kirie back to her while looking displeased by how her daughter was being rebellious, and the priestess felt like Kirie needed to be punished. She aggressively pulled down Kirie's white panties, before rudely using some of her lightning to burn off her bra straps, and she watched Kirie take off the bra that now had some flames on it. As Kirie decided to take off her hat and turn around to throw it at Kanata, she watched her mother send the yellow aura of Lightning Magic down to her feet. Kanata quickly got behind Kirie, and her gentle hands started to gently caress her daughter's body.

Kanata even planted a small kiss on Kirie's cheek while her hands had small amounts of lightning in them to mildly electrocute her, and the lightning that entered Kirie's body was strong enough to reactivate Kanata's possession spell that she had used on her daughter whenever she felt like having an obedient servant who needed to not think for herself. As Kirie sighed happily from that small kiss and let her eyes become lemon yellow with no emotion, a part of her also surprisingly wanted to resist getting possessed. Kirie tried to move Kanata's hands away from her body, but the fact that her hands quickly went down to their sides really showed why Kanata started to give her daughter a lustful smirk. She wanted to see Kirie struggle to fight against being possessed, since that would make the moments of her willpower eventually being fully erased seem much more enjoyable.

"Kirie, don't fight it. You have a beautiful body, and you should love the sensation of being touched by your angelic goddess. Close your eyes, and just let it happen." Kanata told her with a nice smile on her face, as she began to grope Kirie's breasts and rub them in circles.

Kirie said while her cheeks faintly blushed pink, unable to clench her teeth as she obeyed Kanata's orders, "Mo... Mother. I... I feel so good..."

Kanata replied in a soft whisper, as she let her fingers caress Kirie's nipples before making one hand go around to rub her back, "You should be feeling good, my little marionette. You're one of my puppets, Kirie, and you love wearing the clothes that I pick out for you. They make this beautiful body of yours not be hideous, and I'll even dress you every morning to keep that rebellious side of yours from embarrassing me. Now, just relax."

"Ahhhhhhhh... Mother... That feels warm... and good..." Kirie responded in an aroused tone, as she felt two fingers roughly push into her tight pussy.

Kanata pumped her fingers in and out of Kirie's pussy, before carrying her in a bridal-style manner to the bed, and Kanata threw her on to the bed. Kirie groaned in frustration from hitting the bed quite hard, and she could fight the urge to get her feet out of her white panties. She watched Kanata slowly walk over to the black desk that had two candles on them, lightning one with a bright spark of yellow electricity from her Lightning Magic, and Kirie got to see Kanata slowly turn around with a grin of sheer dominance on her face. As Kirie wasn't possessed enough to where she could gasp in fear from seeing her mother's grin start to become a vicious smirk, she got to see Kanata unzip the back of her dress to where it simply fell to the floor for Kanata to be left in red fishnet panties that had brown lacing with a lacy brown bra showing her erect nipples.

Kanata proceeded to pounce on top of Kirie like a cougar pouncing on a weaker animal to have power over it in a fight, and she proceeded to lick Kirie's pussy. Her tongue licked it in circles, swirling around as she licked the inside of her pussy to feel Kirie being somewhat wet from arousal, and Kanata even made her tongue give some soft licks to Kirie's walls right before her tongue roughly pushed past them. That cause Kirie to elicit a soft moan as she wrapped her legs around Kanata, blushing more as she let herself become immersed in Kanata's words about loving the sensations that she felt because of her goddess. Kanata continued to lick around in Kirie's pussy, making her tongue swirl around as it went deeper to taste some of Kirie's warm juices, but feeling Kirie buck her hips caused Kanata to quickly pull her tongue out.

She loved seeing her daughter feel so pleasured, hearing her elicit more soft moans as she sunk her body down into the bed while letting her surrender to the feelings of arousal, and that made Kanata feel like resting on top of Kirie to give her a deep kiss on the lips. Kanata dominated the kiss, as she lustfully kissed Kanata while letting her tongue firmly stay on top of her daughter's tongue, and she felt her cheeks blush with warmth as she rubbed Kirie's hips with her hands. As one of Kanata's hands moved down to Kirie's thigh, she broke the kiss and gently kissed her daughter's forehead. Upon hearing Kirie sigh happily while she showed no resistance, Kanata gently ran her fingers through Kirie's hair with her other hand as she continued to also rub her thigh.

"Kirie, my dear. Your willpower is breaking, and you'll never have the audacity to rebel against me. In fact, this feels good to where you'll only want more of it when you're possessed again and again. Admit that you have no freedom, sweetie. You just have to give in to my desires forever, and being a servant who follows my ideals will allow you to always be beautiful." Kanata told her in a sultry whisper as she sexily smiled down at her daughter, letting a drop of sweat from her forehead fall down to touch Kirie's nipple as Kanata moved her head away to softly suck on Kirie's toes.

Kirie responded in a pleased manner. after letting out a soft gasp while she still moved her hips, "I... I have... no freedom, Mother. You're my... goddess, and... I'll be your loyal... servant who has... sex with you. Make me... be beautiful.."

"Very well. I won't just get you some beautiful clothes, but I'll show you what should always be viewed as beautiful. Now, get on your hands and knees." Kanata replied to Kirie, as she closed her eyes and proceeded to sit on the bed while leaning back with her fingers tugging at her red fishnet panties.

"Yes... Mother..." Kirie replied obediently, as she got on her knees and hands.

Kanata's eyes glowed lemon yellow as she silently influenced Kirie with the thoughts of kissing her pussy or fingering it, and she pulled her fishnet panties all the way down to get them off of her feet. As the panties came off, Kirie's soft lips were sucking on the lowest area of Kanata's vagina as she also pushed two fingers into her pussy. Kanata tilted her head back as she elicited a loud moan, and she placed one hand on Kirie's head while influencing her to suck much harder and faster. Kirie increased her speed with kissing and sucking on Kanata's pussy, loving how her juices were so sweet and wet. She moved her fingers around within Kanata's vagina, moving them around in swirls before roughly pumping and out the priestess as she pushed past a wall, and Kirie glanced up to see Kanata blush light pink as she let out several loud and blissful moans.

Kanata moved her hands down to grope Kirie's breasts again, squeezing her boobs together as she even flicked her erect pink nipples, and she watched Kirie end the kiss as she licked up a small bit of the juices that were around her mouth. Kirie watched Kanata get on her hands and knees as she turned around, sighing nicely from swallowing those juices as she could see her reflection in Kanata's large and shiny ass cheeks, but Kanata aggressively slammed her ass against Kirie's face. Kirie got a black eye while she fell back on to the bed, but she still elicited a moan of pleasure from feeling Kanata's large ass cheeks and her pussy be against her face for Kirie to touch her smooth skin.

Upon seeing Kirie blush while not minding her black eye, Kanata turned back around to just crawl on to her daughter. She roughly slammed her pussy down on hers, before doing it again softly, and Kanata began to let her pussy brush against Kirie's vagina as she silently ordered Kirie to rub her pussy against hers. The women rubbed their warm pussies against each other while sweating profusely, Kanata smiling and blushing as her sweat dripped to land on every part of Kirie as the nearby candle's flame heated up and somewhat brightened the dark room, and Kirie moaned the name of her goddess as she felt a drop of sweat fall down into her pussy for it to be like her mother's finger going down to slightly touch her womb. As Kirie blushed and moaned, bucking her hips to where Kanata was nearly thrown off, Kanata thrusted her pussy down against Kirie's vagina four times. Kirie responded to that by thrusting her pussy upward three times, and her thrusts were powerful enough to where Kanata bit her lower lip. As she let her pussy rest down on Kirie's for their blonde fields of hair to gently touch, Kanata groaned loudly from how her orgasm was quickly rising up from her pussy. Kirie felt her orgasm quickly building up, too, and she tried to clench her teeth. However, she decided to not suppress it and Kanata smiled lovingly as Kirie just let this happen between them. As Kirie could no longer hold in her orgasm, she looked up at Kanata to see how the shadows created by the flame darkened most of her face to where they both only saw light in each other's lemon yellow eyes.

"MOTHER!" Kirie exclaimed, as she let her orgasm come out.

"KIRIE!" Kanata yelled out, blushing more as her orgasm's juices came out of her pussy to rain down on Kirie.

Kanata and Kirie climaxed at almost the same time, Kirie doing it first, and the females let out loud moans of pleasure together. They both panted heavily, not minding how they were drenched in each other's juices, and Kanata decided to reward Kirie for being so obedient and beautiful. She gave Kirie a soft kiss on the lips while being on top of her, their bodies trembling from how they were exhausted, and Kanata broke the kiss as she fell asleep right before Kirie closed her eyes. As Kirie felt exhausted and went to sleep, she could feel her mother's lightning spell of possession starting to wear off. At the same time, though, Kirie's body trembled more with displeasure from how not being fully possessed made her have every moment of the sex engraved in her mind as she could truly feel herself be more sticky and warm than feeling herself be beautiful. In fact, Kanata added on to the restraint of not letting her pick out her own clothes. Kirie now had no freedom when it came to her first time having sex, either.

Back in the current time...

Kirie closed her eyes in a pained manner from remembering that horrible experience, no longer wanting to deal with being manipulated by her mother or being very afraid of her lightning, and she tightly clenched her fists. After seeing how mages such as Risa and Lucy took their fate in their own hands to do what they thought was right without relying on the power or influence of a goddess, Kirie felt like she needed to truly rise up against her mother's evil cult instead of thinking that she just needed to rely on other people to solve her issues.

Kirie fired the Thunderous Beam spell from her right hand while aiming straight at Kanata, and her lightning made a yellow explosion occur. Since the evil priestess was so badly bruised and had several wounds that were bleeding, Kirie thought she had taken her mother down. As the smokescreen occurred, Kirie applied a high amount of Lightning Magic to her feet for when she needed to run very fast. If she needed to fire the Thunderous Beam spell or any stronger attacks multiple times, then Kirie hoped that the smoke would fade away for Kanata to be blinded. That smoke from her attack cleared up quickly, though, and Kanata gave Kirie an extremely vicious glare. Not only had Kirie stolen Kanata's precious item from her, but she had the audacity to be a defector who wanted to kill the priestess after her horrible act of betrayal.

Upon letting her eyes shift from Kirie to look at Lucy and her friends from Sabertooth, Kanata made a yellow aura engulf her body while putting her hands together. She closed her eyes while building up a tremendous amount of magical power, and Kanata even used some of her Lightning Magic to manipulate Yukino into going over to stand against a wall where the other possessed members of the cult were now ominously humming a hymn. As the yellow aura surrounded Kanata's body, she opened her eyes and narrowed them at Lucy. She was going to kill the girl who had an orange aura engulfing her body, and Kanata would make sure that this final lightning attack would also decimate the other pests into piles of worthless ashes.

Kanata lightly clapped her hands, which caused the mages who stood against the church's saffron yellow walls to start chanting an ominous-sounding song while the yellow aura left their bodies to enter Kanata's hands, but Lucy wouldn't waste this chance with attacking. She ran towards Kanata, only to see a yellow ring of electricity appear in front of her hands as the church members were now at the chorus of this hymn that sounded creepy, and Lucy noticed how the ring touched Kanata's hands before other rings repeated the process one by one. The rings appeared and touched the evil goddess' hands with each passing word of the chorus, before the cult members raised their arms up with their hands pointing at Kanata as they decided to sing a low note in unison, and Lucy hoped to stop Kanata before that chant could be completed.

"Let's annihilate the disgusting sinners who hate Kanata's thunder! Lightning, kill all who defy the goddess of electricity! Radiant Thunder Clouds of The Deity's Luminous Thunderbolt!" Yukino and the other cultists shouted in unison with immense hostility, as Kanata simultaneously chanted the spell with her lips forming a malicious smirk.

Lucy exclaimed with a fierce facial expression, as she started to look down at the ground while continuing to run towards Kanata, "No matter what your spell is, I'll destroy it right now!"

Kirie said aloud with a terrified look on her face, remembering that particular spell from five years ago as she saw a black thundercloud appear right below the skylight with yellow electricity around it, "Oh, no! That spell... Lucy, my mother is planning to kill all of us in one shot!"

Risa turned to ask Kirie with a concerned facial expression, as her eyes showed a mix of worry and curiosity "What type of spell is it?! Is it some kind of godly lightning?!"

Kirie merely nodded in approval at Risa's question while the memory of that spell's lightning was terrifying, but what was even more unsettling was how nine more thunderclouds that were electrically charged appear below the initial one. They all went into the first thundercloud, expanding its size while thundercloud turned yellow with much more electricity flowing around it, and Kanata had definitely strengthened this spell after five long years. The moment that she separated her hands and aimed them at Luc was the moment that yellow beams of lightning came down from the thundercloud at incredibly high speeds!

Lucy found herself having to quickly slide back, before swerving left and right to avoid several direct hits from the lightning that created massive yellow blasts of electricity, but even being grazed by one of Kanata's blasts caused Lucy to be severely electrocuted! Kanata didn't care if the attack paralyzed her or not, since she wanted Lucy to be dead, but she wouldn't forget about her friends who were guarding Kirie. She aimed three of the beams at Sting, each one being more powerful than the previous attack to where their blasts obliterated the benches, but Sting was able to dodge them with ease.

However, the sight of Risa still panting heavily worried him. He widened his eyes in shock from seeing Kanata send down seven beams of her powerful electricity at Risa, watching the priestess give Risa a glare of immense anger from how she was the one who made her look like an idiot by making her spells be thrown off-course and even have the audacity to use spells that were once wielded by a prominent person who Kanata heavily detested, but Sting watched Risa's legs be shaky as she couldn't quickly evade the attacks! Risa attempted to use Stellar Psi again, only to not have enough magical power, and the fact of how that spell wrecked the beautiful throne of the goddess only made Kanata send down an eighth beam towards Risa to express her full resentment and anger towards her. Sting's eyes widened in horror from how he wasn't near Risa's spot in the aisle, meaning that he wouldn't get there fast enough, and Risa closed her eyes as she expected to die here. Lucy turned around to give Risa an alarmed look, only to widen her eyes in pure shock at how a certain girl applied a high amount of Lightning Magic to her feet to harshly push Risa to the right while lightly knocking her sunglasses into the air.

"Risa. Thank you for being a kind person who let me hide in Sabertooth from the cultists, and thanks for showing me how to truly have immense willpower! Keep having inner strength alongside your friends, and keep taking control of your lives!" Kirie told her with a confident facial expression, before her smile turned into one that signified a farewell as she made Lightning Magic surround her body.

Risa exclaimed with a horrified look on her face, as she managed to get sound out of her mouth while looking quite shocked, "Kirie!"

Sting shouted as he looked very stunned at the eight blasts of yellow lightning that surrounded Kirie's body, "Kirie, no!"

The electric blasts engulfed Kirie, but she didn't even let out a scream or a terrified cry while her hat lightly floated down to the aisle. Kanata was stunned by what had just occurred, seeing Risa be alive while someone else's blood was pouring on to the aisle of her church, and the large yellow clouds of smoke slowly faded away for her and Lucy to see Risa be absolutely shocked with her mouth open in disbelief from getting to notice how Kirie was badly bruised and had bloody wounds that were severe. Kirie even had blood dripping from below her lips while electricity surrounded her body, and one hand was in front of the zipper of her bag while the red sunglasses that were knocked off Risa's head by accident had now landed in Kirie's other hand.

Risa tried to build up magical power for her healing spell, only to see a little bit of a pink beam emerge from her mouth, and seeing how those beams left horrible wounds on many parts of Kirie's body made Risa tremble in shock as she wondered why the client put themselves in harm's way for her. She watched Kirie slowly open her pastel yellow eyes while barely being able to move her arms or legs, and Risa simply knelt by her side. Tears were starting to be in the pink-haired girl's eyes, as this mission wasn't supposed to involve any good people dying, and Risa even placed her hands on Kirie's chest in hopes that the pressure from her hands could stop those wounds from worsening.

She didn't see any changes in those wounds, though, and Risa continued to have disbelief in her eyes as Kirie was dying. Just when it seemed like Kirie would be a courageous mage who could possibly become a new ally of the Sabertooth mages, she chose to give her life up to save theirs. Sting watched Kirie use all of her remaining energy to raise up her right arm with the sunglasses being in her right hand, and the girl with platinum blonde hair simply made her hand be in front of Risa's forehead while smiling as she winked with her right eye.

"They... look beautiful... on... you, Risa. You... can't die... here." Kirie weakly told her with a smile on her face, before coughing a bit.

Risa exclaimed with the look of shock maintained on her face from hearing those words be a bit similar to something from long ago, before having frustration in her eyes, "You shouldn't have been the one who died here, though! Kirie, not you! Those lightning attacks weren't meant for you, and I didn't ask you to save me! You weren't supposed to get hurt, since you're the client! You don't have to have those sunglasses in your hand as you die right in front of me, either! Kirie, you weren't thinking!"

"My.. body just.. moved... from seeing.. you struggle... like when... I was... fearful of my... mother's lightning.. to where I didn't.. take my fate... in my.. own hands.. until recently. There.. was no... time to... think about.. the.. consequences of.. my choice." Kirie weakly told Risa with tears starting to lightly fall from her eyes, as she did her best to keep her eyes open.

Kirie weakly told Risa while her eyes were slowly starting to close, choosing to speak until she couldn't see Risa anymore, "The... bag. Let... Lucy have.. what's inside. Risa. Lucy can... defeat.. my.. mother.. and make Yamabuki.. a town.. where.. people.. have freedom.. instead.. of relying on.. the goddess. You can.. handle whatever's.. been on.. your mind,.. too. I know you.. can. Good.. bye."

Kanata spoke aloud as a very sadistic smile was now on her lips, "It looks like that trashy thief is going to be dead soon, and she was only good for being a pawn like the rest of the girls in my cult. It's fun to see your suffering faces over Kirie's worthless death."

Risa did her best to ignore Kanata's words while tears fell from her eyes to where they landed on Kirie, some of them even landing on the lens of her sunglasses as Kirie used her last seconds of life to firmly push the sunglasses back up on to her forehead while her eyes became closed forever, and Risa's body trembled as she felt a certain memory resurface of how someone important placed these sunglasses on her forehead before that person's life came to an end. All that she could do was look numb with grief as she briefly envisioned that person replacing Kirie for a few seconds, and Risa's cherry red eyes were filled with immense feelings of sadness.

Kirie's right hand briefly touched Risa's forehead, before her hand simply fell to the ground, and Risa closed her eyes to take away the pain of this moment. She ignored how Kanata went back to make lightning beams come down from the giant thundercloud to strike Lucy, and Risa started to look numb with the facial expression that showed shock and grief at Kirie's death. Risa couldn't even speak right now, and she simply tried to place her hands over her crying eyes as a way of shielding herself from seeing how this tragedy was part of reality. The worst part of the tragedy for Risa was that she had to watch a good person die again while the words about how the sunglasses looked on her had really been hard-hitting to her emotions.

That was as hard-hitting as Lucy angrily punching the ground to activate her final spell of Earth Magic, and it was known as Earthy Sherbet Terra Tremor. This spell created several large cracks in the ground after Lucy hit it, even having bubbling brown mud at the bottom of the chasms, and she jumped up into the air. She quickly came down to smash through one of the narrower cracks, and Lucy burrowed underground. Kanata attempted to strike the depths of the chasms with her large beams of electricity, only to see mud splash up while the beams exploded to create blasts, and she gasped in shock from how the earth around her began to violently shake like many tremors were occurring under the church. She watched several large chunks of the earth in front of her be sent flying into the sky while massive orange blasts occurred under them, but Kanata wouldn't die so easily. Kanata stepped back to avoid getting caught in the blasts created by those tremors, as well as not wanting to lose her balance, but taking even one step back allowed Lucy to aggressively emerge from a hole in the ground in front of her while raising her right fist upward to punch Kanata in the stomach with enough force to make her be directly under the thundercloud. The evil priestess coughed up a bit of blood from how she had been hit quite hard, but Lucy was not done.

"You're going to die today, you horrible priestess!" Lucy exclaimed with an enraged look on her face, as she aggressively grabbed Kanata's blonde hair to throw her down to a chunk of earth that had hot mud surrounding it.

Kanata responded to Lucy while looking displeased, sending the lightning from the thundercloud down towards that chunk of the earth, "I'm a beautiful goddess, and trash such as you can't defeat a deity!"

"My willpower and my strength say otherwise, Kanata Luster! In fact, no one needs gods or religious ideals when they disgustingly want to prevent people from using magic! Whether it's Yukino's, Kirie's, mine, or anyone else's, our magic belongs to us! As for you and your lightning, I'll definitely make you come crashing down from believing that you're a goddess of lightning!" Lucy fiercely shouted to her with unyielding determination in her orange eyes.

When Kanata's beam of lightning struck the chunk of earth, it created a massive orange blast that sent her higher into the air! That allowed Lucy to hit Kanata with several punches to her face, the force of her punches sending Kanata crashing through three chunks of earth as the hot mud left burns on her body, and Lucy watched Kanata get engulfed in three massive blasts that were in a sherbet shade of orange! Lucy touched the pieces of earth to absorb their power, giving her more strength, and she hastily went down towards Kanata. Lucy landed on a chunk of earth, before easily jumping quite high in the air to brutally kick Kanata in the back, and Lucy watched her crash through five pieces of earth. The five massive blasts that occurred were dealing even more pain to Kanata's body, as they felt like several powerful punches were striking her body, and she was badly bruised while the orange blasts blinded her eyes for a few seconds.

The moment that the blasts faded away was the same moment that Lucy jumped up to be in front of Kanata, and thinking about everything that the evil cult leader had done made Lucy grab Kanata's right arm. The strength of her Earth Magic allowed Lucy to aggressively swing Kanata up towards the church's skylight with enough force to shatter it, and Lucy interestingly shattered the part of the skylight that Kanata used for the Sacred Lightning spell when she injured Yukino's body. Lucy sent Kanata into the air, before harshly hitting her in the chest with a slamming kick, and Lucy quickly sent her back down into the church. Kanata crashed through large and small pieces of earth, even crushing a stone on the way down while not intending to lose, but Kanata hit the ground quite hard to where it created a large crater in the church while eight massive blasts occurred in succession! She screamed in excruciating pain from the immense power of the blasts, as well as the hot mud that left severe burns on her skin, and Lucy's physical hits to her body felt like she made Kanata's bones crack during this brutal beating.

Kanata groaned in frustration from seeing her thundercloud disappear, no longer having the magical power to keep the spell activated, and the evil priestess could barely move. She couldn't even lift a finger while being severely injured, and Lucy came down to hit Kanata with one last powerful strike to her chest. Lucy's powerful punch made several brown rocks rise up while Kanata got slammed down through the floor to be in a hole surrounded by rubble, and she watched Kanata's mouth be open as she coughed up blood. The brown smoke in the church cleared up to reveal that Kanata wasn't getting up, and the fact she wasn't even moving or breathing simply meant that she was now dead. Lucy fiercely glared down at her, before aggressively grabbing Kanata out of the rubble with just one hand, and her eyes were filled with the intense desire to prove that human willpower could surpass a goddess. As Lucy's eyes noticed Kanata's wrecked throne, though, she decided that there was a fitting place for her.

"You're a goddess of the lightning, so be fittingly buried in your throne of rubble!" Lucy fiercely exclaimed to Kanata, as she brutally threw the priestess against the damaged throne to see her smash into the wrecked chair before her body slowly slid down into the debris.

Sting told Lucy in a surprised tone, as he saw the cult members start to fall to the ground while being unconscious, "Lucy, look at what's happening!"

Lucy replied to him while turning around, panting heavily as the orange aura faded away from being around her body, "Sting, they're all... no longer... possessed by her."

Sting exclaimed with a concerned facial expression, as Yukino fell to the ground, "Yukino, we'll get you out of here!"

As Sting ran towards Yukino and decided to carry her on his shoulders, he turned to smile at Lucy in a proud manner for how she managed to defeat the priestess on this rescue mission. Kanata's church had doorways near the altar, which meant that she probably had all her money stored in one of the other rooms, and Sting would be glad to reward Lucy with a high amount of money for the rescue mission. He watched Lucy gladly smile back at him, both of them being pleased that this ordeal was now over, and Sting carried Yukino through the doorway on the right to look for the money while he'd also retrieve her clothes.

The moment that Sting left the room with Yukino was the moment where Lucy slowly walked over to Risa, doing her best to avoid all the cracks in the ground, and Lucy's smile shifted to a regretful frown as Risa continued to be quite shocked at how Kirie died. Lucy watched her friend tremble, shaking as if Kirie's death was very traumatic for her, and Risa continued to have tears falling from her eyes. She made herself gently move Kirie's hand away from the zipper to see exactly what had been stolen from Kanata, and Risa reached into the bag to find a yellow ring with a square-shaped gold gem in its center. Along with the ring and the money, there was a folded white note that Risa tearfully unfolded to read.

"This is the Saffron Gold Ring. This ring allows whoever wears it to use Lightning Magic, and it will strengthen your electric spells. Just don't be crazed with a lust for power when using that ring or the other legendary rings, as I think that it just kept taking in all of my mother's negative feelings that she always infused into her spells, If I can't tell you all this in person, then please use the ring to great effects in your life to prevent anything dangerous or abusive like the Yamabuki Cult from happening again." Risa read aloud with tears in her eyes, before putting the note down to place the saffron-colored ring in Kirie's hand.

Lucy told Risa in a saddened tone with some tears welling up in her eyes as she picked up the yellow ring to put it on the ring finger of her right hand, before thinking about what had happened, "Risa, I'm so sorry that we couldn't save her. You did all that you could possibly do, and the way that you struck Kanata with a surprise attack to protect me must've really inspired Kirie to protect you from getting harmed."

Risa responded nicely while wiping away the tears, "Thanks for making me feel like I was truly useful today, Lucy. I'm just sad about how this was like my first S-Class mission, but I couldn't protect the client. I... I wasn't strong enough at all! She's dead, and it should've been me instead!"

That prompted Lucy to reply in a stern and comforting manner as she knelt beside Risa to give her a tight hug, "Risa, don't say that! You tried your best, even to where you surprised Sting and I from how you unleashed spells that we hadn't seen before! You didn't expect this outcome, but these situations unfortunately do happen! Risa, none of this is your fault! In fact, realize that she came back to the church while being aware of Kanata's spells! Kirie knew that this may be the end result, so you did nothing wrong! In fact, every spell that you used was a brilliant decision and you even felt bold enough to use a higher level of your magic to defend yourself! Sting and Rogue would firmly agree with me on how you did nothing wrong, Risa!"

Lucy wiped away her own tears and asked her friend, as her tone became calmer and curious while ending the hug, "In fact, Risa, would you want to check out that sale later as your reward for how we successfully saved Yamabuki Town? You've been looking forward to it, and you could take as long as you want while you can even tell me about where I could learn to make my Fire Magic become magenta like-"

Risa stood up to shout at Lucy with a regretful facial expression, only assuming what she'd say before sounding quite apologetic upon realizing her mistake, "Don't speak her name in front of me! Oh, god. Lucy, I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to think that you were aware of stuff that I just don't want to talk about right now. Anyway, maybe I'll be better later for the sale. Just... leave me alone for the rest of the day. Please.. just let me have some time to calm down and accept what happened."

Lucy slowly stood up to see Risa run out of the church with that apologetic look on her face, some tears being in her eyes, and Risa almost ran into Rogue while he walked into the church with his opponent from earlier now being unconscious. He simply looked at Lucy's hand to see the three rings while she stood near the dead client, and Rogue frowned at Lucy in a calm manner from hearing everything. Despite how Lucy would shop with Risa and want to cheer her up, Lucy's typical and genuine kindness wasn't what Risa needed right now.

Rogue thought that Risa yelled at her kind friend for not exactly understanding the story behind Risa's magic, He couldn't fault Lucy for not having any understanding of Risa's situation, since she never seemed like the type of person to talk about her past or any serious problems, and seeing the magenta pink flames still burn along with the regular pink flames on the broken benches made Rogue wonder if a fierce fight with tremendous amounts of magical power involved had reawakened some memories within Risa. If that was the case, he would just wait to discuss that matter with her. He turned around to look at the church's entrance, and Rogue believed that Risa just went somewhere to give herself some time to breathe.

When he turned back around to look at the damaged church, Rogue was able to breathe a sigh of relief from seeing Sting emerge from a doorway with a large bag of jewels hanging down from his mouth while he had Yukino slumped over his left shoulder as she was still unconscious. He held her stack of clothes in his right hand, even having the keys on top of her white boots, and Sting simply gave Rogue a calm look from seeing that the group was officially done with the mission. Rogue decided to be the one who would carry Yukino his shoulders, and Sting watched Lucy run up to him. She chose to carry Yukino's clothes, which left Sting to carry the money in his hands, and the three mages began to walk out of the church. Sting walked beside Lucy to see the saddened look on her face, which made him see that she also felt upset at how the group's victory was very bittersweet, and Sting would gladly comfort her if she was feeling as hurt as Risa from seeing this. As Sting moved a little closer to Lucy and watched her wince in pain from the recoil damage of her final spell, he looked up to see the surviving people of Yamabuki Town slowly arrive to view Kanata's defeat as something that made their expressions range from complete shock to having tears of joy in their eyes at how their town's suffering was now over. Even the scared lady who was in the bakery earlier had come to see all the lights and noise that came from the explosions in the church, and she gave Lucy a genuine and gentle smile of appreciation for being brave enough to fight the crazed priestess. As Lucy walked out of the church and kept looking straight ahead, she kindly smiled at some awestruck and grateful citizens while silently hoping that the people of Yamabuki could also start to also look ahead in life to where they would all start creating their own beliefs to where they'd never let an alleged goddess create religious ideals for them ever again.

How was Chapter 19? Feel free to tell me your thoughts on it. Lucy and Sting will be bonding more in the next few arcs, due to this chapter being very focused on the battle against Kanata. Lucy and Sting shall have more StiCy moments, since this is a StiCy story, but that will occur more in the next chapter when everyone deals with the aftermath of this arc. After all, comfort can come after an arc where the protagonists have to suffer in a few different ways. Speaking of suffering, Lucy will talk more with Risa in the next chapter about why Kirie's death impacted her so heavily. As for Risa's moment where she heard a woman's voice in her mind and activated that new spell with the magenta color, that's actually tied to something. Anyway, this is the final chapter of the Gold Lightning Arc! The next chapter is one of the aftermath chapters! I'll update soon. :)
