Chapter 25: The Psychic Mage's Past Memories! The Rainy Encounter Between Risa and Sara!

Risa's POV

After I got Master's permission to just purchase a fuchsia pink skirt with ruffles from the fashion store in Parmanie Town, we all took the train back home to the town of Kogane. Before we could even get to our houses, though, Master wanted me to talk about my past with everyone. I didn't want to have to think about those painful memories from my rough childhood, especially since the memories that were good had been with my former master who tragically died, but the fact that Miru and Shizue almost arrested me and labeled me as a criminal was probably something that weighed on Sting's mind.

As I currently sat across from him and Lucy at a brown table in the Sabertooth guild while I also sat in between Yukino and Rogue, the concerned expressions on everyone's faces really showed me how they didn't feel comfortable with trying to put more attention on the legendary ring when the trauma from my past that had been affecting me was still a big problem. I even got to hear Rogue tell Lucy and the others earlier about how my emotions in the forest explosively came out when I expressed to him that I couldn't handle anyone dying like how Master Sara died, and the fact that he told them about that only meant they would want to hear more about it.

Depending on what I would say, though, would Master view me as a criminal who needed to be kicked out of the Sabertooth guild? I didn't want that to be a result of telling my friends about what had sadly happened months after my first day of true happiness, but not saying anything about it to my friends would probably just make them be more frustrated. They had already been badly hurt several times during the intense fight today to where I had to heal them and enhance their strength with my healing spells, so not saying anything would probably hurt them even more.

I didn't want my friends to think that there was a lack of trust between us, as they definitely wouldn't go around spreading information about the tragedies that occurred during my life in Parmanie Town. They would also hopefully understand why I refused to say much about it, since it wasn't just my master who died when the corrupt royals took over Parmanie while they enforced new rules, and anyone who didn't follow the rules either got executed or suffered a worse fate. Of course, the royals tried to cover up the past by rebuilding Parmanie to supposedly look amazing. I started to frown at how they mostly buried the damage that they caused in past, but they probably left Master Sara's burnt down house as a painful reminder that the poor people of Parmanie couldn't oppose the privileged royals. As I kept frowning and started looking down at the table, Rogue gently touched my left hand with his right hand.

"Risa, you don't have to talk about it all at once. Just try to think back to that street where you seemed to be looking at the garage door." Rogue calmly told me with a soft smile on his face.

Lucy added with a kind facial expression, genuine niceness seeming to be in her orange eyes, "Risa, I want you to know that we won't judge you at any point while you're telling us about your past. If you get emotional when you're talking, just know that we're right here. We'll gladly listen to what you have to say."

Sting told me while looking serious, narrowing his eyes at me, "Risa, just start at the day that where you first met Sara and continue on from there."

"Okay, Master." I told him with a nervous look on my face, before heavily sighing.

Master wanted me to talk about the trauma, and making me start from the first day where I met Master Sara caused tears to lightly form in my eyes. Those tears were a mix of sadness and happiness, being like several drops of water merging together to soon fall from my eyes, and I began to think back to that day. I began to remember how I could see people walking in front of me while the day was quite bleak, the sky being very dark as the sound of loud thunder came down from the thunderclouds that accompanied the rain clouds.

I started to remember how I had only been eight years old, and my birthday wouldn't be occurring for another two months. That would be the first birthday where I'd presumably be all alone, not even being able to live in a house or sleep in a bed, and people were too busy with their own lives to even care about me. I wiped away the tears while looking at my friends, wondering if I could truly find all the strength to talk about it, and just remembering that kind moment where Master Sara came along made me want to cry more.

Remembering that rainy day was stressful for me, as I also had to recall how I was so alone for months without anyone in Parmanie who wouldn't see it as a burden to take me in. I had knocked on the doors of other people before standing there, only for them to reject the idea of letting me live with them, and there was no other choice but for me to just live on the street as a child. Still, I shut my eyes in actuality and tried thinking back to that moment where Master Sara made another sad day be one of the happiest days that I could ever experience. As I started to think about her, Rogue touched my hand again.

"If the emotions are too much for you to handle on your own, Risa, then just know that we're right here." Rogue nicely told me, causing me to open my eyes.

Lucy told me with a comforting smile on her face, "Don't worry, Risa. As you talk, just know that we'll be trying to visualize the situations. That way, we'll feel like we're there with you."

"All right, then. I just hope you can picture that first day, since I'll certainly never forget it." I replied to Lucy with a saddened look on my face, before closing my eyes.

I could soon feel my friends all placing a hand on top of my hand, showing their support for helping me talk about my trauma, and I would have to talk about things that led up to the event where most of Parmanie faced destruction at the hands of the royals who had come to the town. Eleven years ago, the last person who could truly give me happiness without any worry had been ripped away from me. That was such a bad time, but I exhaled a soft breath while calming myself down enough to where I could think about that first day.

That wasn't just the day where Master Sara and I first met, but that day was where I finally found a place to call home. I found a place to live with someone who didn't even seem to care that we weren't related by blood, and Master Sara had been so nice. That first day was where I could walk out of the rain with someone who would want me by her side, even though I literally became attached to her while being a very scared child in a town where the most privileged and fashionable people acted like a bunch of stuck-up jerks.

Master Sara had even been such a kind individual to where she understood my situation without thinking that I would be a burden to her, and I remembered how she didn't want me to feel very sad on that first day. Even though I had felt so alone, she had been there for me. Envisioning her smiling my face on that first day allowed me to let my mind go back to that fateful day where it all began. The part of my life where I learned to use Psychic Magic, the part of my life where I learned about the joys of fashion, and the part of my life where I learned about being snarky all started on that rainy day.

Risa's Flashback, eleven years ago (Narrator POV)

Rain heavily came down from the dark clouds to drench the streets of Parmanie while people walked down the wet streets with umbrellas over their heads, some of them running with their umbrellas to keep themselves from being in the downpour of rain before it even got slightly worse, but only one person didn't have an umbrella right now. That person was unfortunately a young girl with pink hair, and her long hair reached down past her neck to just be touching her back. The young girl had her hair slightly long while her hair was in a fringe hairstyle, and heavy bangs skimmed her pink eyelashes.

The young girl's hair was getting wet from the rain, though, and the rain also drenched the light pink blouse that she wore with the blouse having a lacy pink collar. The blouse was over her pink dress shirt that also got wet from how rain was continuously pouring down on her, and her rose pink flat shoes also got soaked from the rain. As rain kept roughly pouring down in the young girl, she cried heavily with tears streaming down her face from how she no longer had any parents to care for her. Finding out that they died on a three-year S-Class mission while working for a distant guild was horrible news, especially for this girl who was only eight years old, and not having parents around to pay the house's rent simply allowed the new royals in charge to force this girl to be homeless.

Every single day without any family members around had been a struggle for this girl, since her kind neighbor always set aside enough money to let her buy one little meal of food while no one else seemed to even care about this crying child. She even knocked on the doors of other people every day, only to be refused entry into their homes because of how they didn't want to care for someone who wasn't even a family member, and the kind woman who gave her small amounts of money couldn't risk taking her in as a daughter because of how the royals wanted people to pay certain amounts of jewels for every person who was part of the family.

Not having a family and not having a home were two things that made this girl loudly cry, and tears continued to fall from her eyes as her hands were gently against a metal garage door of someone's shop. Her body was bruised while her pink hair was dirtied, both of those things resulting from sleeping on the streets of Parmanie for about eight months, and her clothes were tattered. She always stood in front of the shop, crying and depressed at how she didn't have a caring father or a loving mother anymore, and she cried harder from thinking about how other kids who passed by her every day would hold hands with their parents while having happy conversations that made those families smile with joy. As she closed her cherry red eyes and continued to the cry, the young girl felt someone's hand touch her face while the rain that fell was now suddenly blocked by an umbrella.

"What's wrong, kid? Where are your parents?" A woman's voice asked her in a concerned tone, causing the girl to open her eyes while her face showed a mix of surprise of sadness.

The young girl replied to the woman with tears going down her face, as her body trembled, "My parents are dead, and I'm all alone!"

"Oh, no. I'm sorry to hear that, sweetie. If you don't mind, though, let's both get out of the rain. I can tell that neither of us wanted to get the coldest showers in Fiore today, kid." The woman kindly replied to her with a genuine and gentle smile, before making her left hand grab the girl's right hand.

The young girl started to walk away with the woman, surprised at how there was someone in Parmanie who really seemed to care about her, and they stayed together under the umbrella. The saddened child simply started to look up at the fair-skinned woman who rescued her from the rain, seeing the woman's long magenta pink hair while she had spiky bangs on her forehead, and the young girl took notice of how the woman's eyes were in a fuchsia color. This woman was a nice person who rescued her from the rain, and she would take her to a safe place.

They walked up the street together, going past other people who were trying to get out of the rain, and these two females both walked at a decent pace. They soon arrived at the end of the wet street, before the older woman went to the left for them to reach a different street, and the anxious child soon went up that street with her savior. They walked past two houses to reach a house that was in a regular shade of pink while the pitched roof was light brown, and the woman calmly walked up to the pink front door while pulling out a magenta pink key from the left pocket of her magenta pink plaid skirt. She put the key in the keyhole, and opened the door to go inside with the girl who started clinging to the back of her left knee.

After folding up the umbrella, the kind woman with into the house with the scared girl. The worried child watched the woman retrieve the key from the lock, before seeing her shut the door, and the woman gently leaned forward to take off her hot pink wedges. The young girl gently got her feet out of the flat shoes, before seeing the older woman gasp softly in a concerned manner at how those particular shoes were very dirty, and she still clung to her savior while not wanting her to suddenly be mad enough to kick her out of the house.

"Do you plan on sticking to me like glue, kid? I won't run away or send you back out in that rain, just so you know." The nice woman asked her with a kind smile on her face, before playfully chuckling.

The young girl nervously responded, as she got off of the woman's leg, "Th-thank you..."

"My name is Sara Hoshiakari, by the way. What's your name, kid?" The kind lady told the young girl, before turning around to lean down to where their eyes met for her to curiously ask her a question.

The child told Sara with an anxious facial expression, "My name... is Risa. It's Risa Ryusei."

"Well, Risa, it's nice to meet you! I'll go heat up a bath for you, and then we can eat dinner." Sara told her with a happy facial expression, before going away from the door.

Sara proceeded to go over to the left side of her house, going past the living room to go into a bathroom that was obscured by a light pink curtain near the dining area of the house, and Risa simply followed her as she still looked a bit nervous. Risa ran all the way to the bathroom, and she got to see Sara filling the tub with blue water that had white clouds of steam coming out of it. Risa took a moment to just look at Sara, liking how she wore a light pink halter top that went well with her skirt, and Risa's eyes widened in amazement from seeing Sara's smile.

Sara smiled in a proud manner, glad that she managed to save a child from getting very sick in the rainy weather, and she went out of the bathroom to go through a nearby doorway that led to another room. Risa watched Sara pull out some small pink pajamas from a hot pink dresser that was in that room, before also getting a light pink wooden basket to place the clothes in, and Risa simply stared at her with eyes that showed admiration. Even though they had just met, Sara seemed very confident about how she could care for a child.

Risa walked away from the bathroom for a moment to just look at the light pink kitchen table that complimented the magenta walls and the wooden floor that was strawberry pink, and the dining table was near another doorway that was covered by some magenta pink curtains. Risa walked towards that doorway, only to move the curtains aside to see that it was the kitchen area with clean pink plates sitting in a metal tray on the fuchsia pink kitchen counter, and Risa also noticed how the rose pink fridge was across from the sink. Risa left the kitchen area to also see a small pink end table that was far from the dining table with a brown picture frame turned away from view, but she decided to not touch it. She left her mind shift back to the bath, and Risa walked back to the bathroom with a somewhat calmer look on her face.

"Risa, I've heated up the water to a good temperature. Also, I'll help you with washing your body." Sara told Risa in a kind tone, as she turned away from the bathtub.

That prompted Risa to nicely reply, as she went into the light pink bathroom to start removing her clothes, "All right. Thank you, Miss Sara."

"Kid, you can just call me Sara. After you bathe, I hope you like sushi rolls and rice for dinner." Sara responded to her with a happy smile on her face, before smiling a bit more cheerfully.

Risa told her with delight in her eyes, as she looked very pleased, "That sounds like a yummy dinner, Sara! Thank you!"

30 minutes later, at the dining table...

After Risa finished having a hot bath with tons of soap to get herself clean, she put on the pink pajamas and followed Sara over to the dining table. Risa watched Sara move a chair's pink cushion from one chair to the one next to hers, prompting Risa to go sit there, and she saw Sara go into the kitchen. Sara quickly put the pink plates on the counter, before taking out some sushi rolls from the fridge while they were in plastic containers, and she placed the sushi rolls on the counter. Sara also took out some plastic-covered bowls of rice from the fridge, too. She took the plastic off of everything, before putting each plate of food in the microwave for a minute to get warmer.

As the food was starting to become warmer for Sara and Risa to eat it, Sara went out of the kitchen and sat next to Risa. She noticed how Risa was staring down at her hands while looking sad, probably still feeling very uncomfortable from how a stranger took her into her home, and Sara started to look concerned about Risa. The fact that she didn't have any parents anymore or any relatives in Fiore must've made Risa feel quite scared, and the fact that her hair and clothes were so dirty before bathing made Sara start to realize that Risa must've been out on the streets for months.

That must've been horrible for her, especially when the weather got very cold or rain fell from the skies, and Sara gently touched Risa's hair in a comforting manner to inform her that everything would be okay now. Risa was now in a place where she would get to sleep in a bed, as well as get some food. In fact, the sound of the microwave loudly beeping to signal that the food was heated up made Sara go back into the kitchen. She took the two plates out of the microwave, before carrying them over to the table, and Sara hoped that she didn't give Risa too much food.

Much to her surprise, however, Risa grabbed the purple chopsticks that were on the table and she quickly began eating. Risa started to have a small smile on her face while eating the sushi rolls and rice, loving how she was getting to eat such a delicious meal when she had been starving for most of the day, and she definitely appreciated that food. Risa quickly ate half of her sushi rolls while Sara slowly ate food from her own plate, and Sara smiled happily at how Risa was enjoying the food that she had made earlier in the day for lunch.

"There's plenty of sushi rolls left in the fridge, so eat as much as you need to. Anyway, Risa, I recently moved to Parmanie Town a month ago from my hometown of Kirliahoshi. This is the first day after I finished unpacking everything, but today didn't seem to be your first day out on the street. If you don't mind me asking, how did your parents die?" Sara explained to Risa with a calm smile on her face, before questioning Risa with her facial expression became one that showed curiosity.

Risa explained to Sara, as she glanced down at her hands and began looking quite sad to where she trembled, "My parents died during a mission that they were handling for three years, Sara. Now, I have nobody to look after me. I'm all alone."

"Wow, Risa, that's a hard thing for a child such as yourself to go through." Sara replied with concern in her voice, before slightly narrowing her eyes and getting up to go back to the kitchen.

After a few minutes of hearing kitchen knives chopping something and the fridge closing, Sara came back to tell Risa with a stern frown on her face while putting a bowl of chocolate cake slices in front of her, "Risa, I'll let you eat dessert. However, there's one strict condition. You can't say that no one's around to look after you, especially not as long as I'm here."

As Risa got to hear Sara sarcastically say how she was totally a nonexistent person in this house, the young girl's cherry red eyes were filled with happiness from how Sara would be taking care of her. Risa ate the rest of the food that was on her plate, before getting off of the chair, and she tightly hugged Sara. That caused Sara to hug back while closing her eyes and smiling happily, gently rubbing Risa's back as she heard the young child start to giggle with joy. Upon hearing her giggle, Sara smiled in a more cheerful manner.

Sara and Risa ended their hug for Sara to finish eating her food, so Risa went back to sitting next to her. As Risa watched Sara pick up some balls of sticky rice with her chopsticks, she decided to just gently touch her magenta pink hair. Sara turned to face her with a happy smile while her mouth became filled with rice and sushi, looking a bit curious as to why Risa touched her hair, and she liked how Risa smiled in admiration at how Sara's hair seemed to be very pretty. That only made Sara gently rub the top of Risa's head with one hand, and both girls giggled softly.

As Sara looked at Risa, she nicely smiled from how it had been a good decision to keep those small pajamas as a part of her fashionable inventory of clothing. Not only did the clothes perfectly fit Risa, but they definitely looked more stylish than her old clothes. The fact that Sara would now be taking care of Risa meant that she could spend some money to make Risa's life better, and the first thing that Sara would do involved buying Risa some new clothes. Sara didn't want to make Risa sad by reminding her of any past experiences, but she felt curious enough to ask her a simple question.

"Risa, did your parents ever take you shopping for the cutest clothes?" Sara asked her with a nice smile on her face.

Risa replied with her lips forming a small frown, as she spoke calmly, "No, they didn't do that."

"Well, we're going to buy some clothes tomorrow at that store called Parmanie Fashions. It'll be fun, Risa. I promise." Sara explained to her while smiling in an assuring manner.

At that moment, Risa's frown started to be replaced with another smile of happiness. Sara was going to take her out tomorrow to go shopping for clothes, and improving their choices in fashion could be very fun. Risa had heard that there were multiple fashion stores in the town of Parmanie, due to the royals constantly wanting to flaunt the great sense of style that some of the townspeople had, but actually getting to go into a fashion store would be nice. Risa would be sure to not pick out too many things, but she seemed very excited.

The excitement that was displayed in Risa's eyes only made Sara grin cheerfully, as she felt like Risa's day became brightened, and Sara ate the last five sushi rolls that were on her plate. She watched Risa start to use her chopsticks from earlier to pick up a slice of cake, which prompted Sara to faintly make a pink aura be in her eyes, and Sara got to hear Risa gasp in a surprised manner at how another pair of brown chopsticks suddenly slid from the other side of the table to reach the bowl of cake slices. Risa put down her other chopsticks to pick up the new pair of utensils, and she decided to pick up the cake with them.

Risa bit into the sweet dessert, smiling nicely as some tears of happiness fell from her eyes, and Sara simply watched Risa eat. She smiled sweetly at how Risa muttered words about how all the food was so delicious, and seeing her eat so much to satisfy her hunger made Sara feel so glad that she could make Risa no longer be starving or dealing with homelessness. In fact, tomorrow wasn't just going to be the start of Risa getting new clothes. Since Sara was new to Parmanie and had her personal tour of the town end very early, she could take Risa shopping while they'd also see how pretty Parmanie could be.

The following day, at different times of day...

The next morning, Sara and Risa went out of the house to go to a fashion store that was near the town's train station. Sara had a happy smile on her face while walking down the street with Risa beside her, and she wore a lavender tank top with some hot pink jeans that complimented her light pink high-heeled shoes. Risa currently wore a jean jacket that was in the regular shade of pink while she wore a strawberry pink T-shirt with a cerulean blue skirt that complimented her fuchsia pink flat shoes, and she smiled happily at how Sara helped her pick out those clothes from her closet on this day that had been sunnier than yesterday.

Risa was glad that Sara kept several outfits for a child in her closet, since these clothes were just as fashionable as the outfits that Sara wore in a larger size for women who were in their twenties, and the way how they liked each other's fashionable clothes was something that could help them share a stronger bond. Risa wanted to strengthen this bond that she was forming with Sara, and walking down the street to see a young girl with wavy pink hair going into a store with her pink-haired mother while they gently held hands made Risa softly smile.

She proceeded to gently hold Sara's hand while they walked down the street to reach the fashion store, and Sara held Risa's hand slightly tighter. Risa smiled nicely while looking up at Sara, before letting out a cute giggle, and she was glad to be accompanying the kind woman to the fashion store. This wasn't just a visit to the fashion store, though, and Sara was glad that she could be on this nice tour of Parmanie with Risa. They got to see different stores on this street, some of them only opened the day while others were open for business at night, and there were even concession stands selling different kinds of food. Sara felt that they could get food after they shopped for clothes, though, and she hoped that they wouldn't take a long time with finding the right fashion store.

Sara continued to walk down the street, before seeing that this particular path went to the left, and she walked in that direction with Risa. They were soon near the train station of Parmanie Town, even hearing the train pull into the station, and Risa turned her head to look at the buildings directly across from the train station. She noticed a building that was in a light shade of pink with a fuchsia pink pitched roof, and there was a white sign with brown frames above the shop's door to inform people that this particular store was known as Parmanie Fashions. Risa smiled excitedly from seeing the store, being just as psyched up as Sara from how they would get to shop for some beautiful clothes, and they quickly went into the store with ecstatic looks on their faces. Upon seeing the clothes be neatly organized to look as great as the store's light pink walls that complimented the fuchsia pink carpet, Risa's eyes widened in amazement from seeing the clothes and shoe racks while also seeing the tables for accessories.

"What do you want to buy first, Risa?" Sara asked her with a nice smile on her face, as her eyes took notice of some beautiful pink dresses that were in several different shades of that color.

Risa replied with a cute smile on her face, as she smiled back at Sara and pointed to a large bubblegum pink square table at the back of the shop, "Those glasses would be nice, Sara! I can see properly, but those glasses supposedly make it look darker during the daytime."

"You want to buy some sunglasses first, Risa? You're certainly wanting to have good fashion sense, huh? Well, any fashionable outfit requires good accessories such as hair bows or sunglasses." Sara calmly asked her while smiling, before nicely giving her a useful bit of advice for fashion.

Risa responded to Sara with a kind smile on her face, as they made eye contact, "You should buy some sunglasses, too! That way, we can both look fashionable!"

Sara walked over to that table with Risa for them to check out the various pairs of sunglasses, and Risa watched Sara start to intensely look at the sunglasses. She let her hand gently touch the pairs one by one, smiling at some of the sunglasses while giving harsh looks of refusal to others, and Sara eventually picked out a pair of sunglasses that had cherry red frames. She proceeded to try them on, before looking at Risa, and Sara playfully gave her a thumbs-up while wanting to look cool. Sara raised the sunglasses up to the top of her forehead, before comically posing like a model, and Risa simply giggled in a cheerful manner at how the sunglasses looked great on Sara. That prompted Risa to pick up a pair of mint green sunglasses with cute mint green wings bordering the frames, and she started to pose like a model while they covered her eyes. Sara merely giggled joyfully from how they looked nice on Risa, and she would gladly buy them for her.

Being in a fashion store made Sara not forget about buying some clothes to go with the accessories, though, and she walked towards some clothes with Risa. Sara began to take several midriff shirts, jean jackets, T-shirts, blouses, bras, panties, pants, and skirts off of the hangers. Risa watched Sara make an aura in the regular shade of pink surround her hands, and Sara easily stacked the clothes on top of each other. Sara carried the high stack of clothes into one of the pink fitting rooms that was empty, before coming out to just pick out some shoes that were on a dark pink shoe rack, and Sara went back into the fitting room with different types of shoes. Risa simply followed her into the fitting room, and she got to watch Sara remove her original outfit to change into some new outfits.

The simple act of buying some clothes actually took several hours, since Sara liked all of the clothes to where she had to create the right combinations for her outfits that were supposedly perfect, and Risa used those crucial hours of time to pick out some clothes that were all in her size. She even picked out some cute dresses, along with skirts in the designs of plaid and striped while they were all in different shades of pink, and Risa followed Sara's technique of trying the best possible outfits with the clothes that she had picked out. Sara emerged from her fitting room in her original outfit, though, and Risa came out of the adjacent fitting room in her original clothes. Sara had organized her perfect combinations of clothes by keeping the combinations in different stacks, before using the magic from her pink aura to make them be in one high stack, and she carried the stack of clothes all the way to the counter. Risa tried to organize her stack of clothes like Sara, only to end up seeing that she separated her different clothes by the different shades of pink, and Risa carried her smaller stack to the counter. She went away from the counter to get her shoes, which made Sara comically be shocked at how she hadn't stacked the shoes on top of the clothes, and she went back to get her multiple pairs of shoes from the fitting room. After Risa and Sara put their shoes on the counter, they both smiled happily at the pink-haired cashier and watched her start to scan all of their fashionable clothes with an astounded facial expression.

"Wow, I've never seen people care this much about fashion!" The cashier told Sara and Risa with a comically shocked look on her face, as scanning each item kept making the receipt paper grow longer.

Sara asked her in a snarky manner, "Do you seriously not think that some of us strive to really care about being fashionable, or is the act of randomly putting flashy clothes together to make an outfit with no creative passion in it somehow a way to be stylish these days?"

Risa nicely told the cashier in a sarcastic manner while smiling and trying to mimic Sara's snarky attitude, "Sunglasses totally aren't stylish for caring about outfits, either."

Sara responded to Risa with her own sarcastic remark coming from her lips that formed a nice smile, as she placed both pairs of sunglasses on the counter to pay for them, "Yeah, you're definitely not learning great things from an expert on fashion."

After paying seventy-thousand jewels for the sunglasses and all of their clothes, Risa and Sara carried all of their pink shopping bags over to the street where the concession stands had been located. Sara purchased two fried squids on sticks for her and Risa to eat, gently making their squids touch each other as a way to celebrate their fun day of shopping together, and Risa was happy to where she slowly ate her squid. The food tasted so delicious, especially since she and Sara had large appetites after having to complete their task of shopping for clothes, and this nice choice of having squids for lunch made Risa feel like this day would be great.

When Sara and Risa were finished eating, they grabbed their shopping bags and headed straight to the queen's castle that was supposedly all the way on the eastern side of Parmanie Town. Sara was glad to reach that side of town with Risa for them both to see that the royal castle was made from bricks in different shades of pink, and Sara looked quite excited about how Parmanie Town had such a large castle for members of the royal family who lived there. The two medieval towers on both sides of the building looked nice while they seemed to resemble rooks on a chessboard, only being in various shades of pink instead of being black or white, and Risa merely gasped in awe at how the castle imposingly towered over everything else in the town.

That nice sight was a great contrast to how Risa and Sara even had fun with picking some pink flowers in the grassy park two hours later, both of them sniffing the flowers, and Sara even made the pink aura surround her hands again to make the flowers float in midair. She removed their stems, before levitating the flowers to make flower crowns that she and Risa could wear on their heads like a queen and a little princess, so their first official day together was filled with many cute moments. They were having many awesome moments, too, such as how Sara taught Risa that running with shopping bags was good training for when fashion sales would occur. Sara had made Risa run after her while they decided to run home from the park, and this first official day with a kind person like Sara was one that made Risa have a very joyous smile on her face.

How was Chapter 25? Feel free to tell me your thoughts on it. This is the first chapter in the story where the majority of events are flashbacks, and the emotional flashbacks aren't just going to be showing the emotional bond between Risa and Sara. The flashbacks are also showing readers why Risa is snarky and fashionable now, and we even get to see where she got her shopping habits from. That store was where the sunglasses were purchased by Sara, too. We'll also get to see how she learned Psychic Magic, and how Risa first encountered the magenta shade of the Psychic Magic will be very interesting. Anyway, the next few chapters will further show many more emotional moments between Risa and Sara. This chapter is the fourth part of the Fuchsia Psychic Arc! I'll update soon. :)
