Hey all, I know its been a LONG time since I've posted or updated anything. I've had a lot going on during the panorama as I'm sure most of you have as well. I went back and read a few of my old stories and ended up with a few ideas. I hope you enjoy it. -Ash

Shaundi woke up with a slight start, forgetting where she was until she saw the still sleeping Kendal laying next to her. Taking a slow deep breath she closed her eyes again and rested her forehead under Kendal's chin. The slightly taller girl groaned as she started to wake up, wincing in pain as she slowly woke up to the very real pain in her abdomen as she remembered what happened last night.

"Well fuck" Kendal breathed as she took her hand from Shaundi's side and put it over her wound. "I really was hoping that is was a dream "She mumbled as she moved to her back and opened her eyes slowly. Though my gorgous nurse still being beside me when I wake up might just be with getting stabbed" She smiled and looked over at said nurse who just rolled her eyes and got up slowly, stretching before reaching into the first aid kit and grabbing a couple more pain meds before standing up and moving between Kendals legs

"Come here you dork" Reaching her hand out she slowly helped Kendal sit up before making her take the meds. Kendal made a face having to dry swallow them again.

"You know these help but fuuuck do they taste like shit." Shaundi just shook her head and smiled slightly as she watched Kendal. "I can feel your eyes on me" She whispered before looking up at Shandi, her arms slowly working their way around her waist. Moving slowly so not to pull on her stitches too much. "whats on your mind?"

Shaking her head Shaundi just leaned into Kendal slightly who in turn rested her head against Shandi's torso. Shaundi absent mindedly ran her fingers through Kendal's hair. "Nothing, I'd just really like it if you could stop doing stupid shit like this. Id like to stop wondering if you're going to come back alive or not" Her grip around Kendal's should tightened a little. "I already lost Johnny...I can't lose you too" Her voice cracked lightly as she spoke just barely loud enough for Kendal to hear.

"Hey hey hey" Kendla immediately pulled back enough to look up at Shaundi. "With you around to keep patching me up and my stubborn ass attitude, you aren't going to get rid of me" Taking one of her hands from Shaundi's waist and moving to her cheek to make the other girl look her in the eyes, she brushed her thumb over her cheek gently. "You're not going to lose me."

"You can't blame me for worrying' Shaundi mumbled as she looked back into Kendal's eyes. Kendal ran her fingers up along Shaundi's cheek before tucking a few stray hairs that managed to fall out of her pony tail as they slept. Shaundi leaned into her touch and sighed softly.

"No I can't blame you, from day one when you signed on to be one of my lieutenant shit has always been pretty well shitty. I'm sorry I'm always worrying you but you gotta admit I always seem to make it out okay." Kendal winked but then winced as Shaundi lightly poked just above where she stitched up the Boss last night.

"Yeah, when you have other's by your side you make it out" Getting down to her knee's Shaundi pilled back the gauze to look over the stitched better.

"That's why I always have my team with me" Kendal winced again hoping that the meds would kick in soon as Shaundi took her time to slowly and as gently as she could, clean around the stiches again before covering it with another patch of gauze.

"Yeah until you stupidly decide to jump on a launching nuke that could go off on any second and then end up crashing into the White House after being stabbed and somehow surviving" Shandi's voice got a little louder as she looked up at Kendal once she finished patching her up. Kendal looked into Shandi's eyes, really looked into them and saw a side of Shaundi she never had before. She couldn't help herself as she slowly leaned down and kissed Shaundi, cupping the back of her neck gently to pull her closer. Shaundi was surprised at first but kissed back just as gently. Kendal pulled back when the need for air couldn't be ignored anymore. Resting their foreheads together as her fingers gently brushed against the back of Shaundi's neck.

"I promise that I will try to do less stupid things, key word try." Kendal smirked a little and then laughed when she felt Shaundi smack her bicep but then gently brushed her thumb over the area.

"I guess that's all I can ask for" She leaned in to kiss Kendal gently again but they were quickly interrupted by a loud creaking sound and then a crashing rough after causing them both to turn and look towards the door quickly. Only to be left with the sight of a fully flat on the floor Pierce who managed to trip over his own two feet

'Well shit" Pierce mumbled into the ground before lifting his head to see both of the girls laughing, Kendal gripping her wound as she did. "I've been looking for you too since last night" He stood up and dusted himself off, trying to make it seem like her didn't just make a fool of himself, per usual.

"Shaundi stitched me up and found me some pain meds that knocked me out so we rested here for a bit. Were still alive" Shaundi stood up from between Kendal's legs and helped her to stand up slowly, making sure to grab the first aid kit to keep up with Kendal's wound.

"We thought we were gonna lose you Boss, you can't blame us for the worry" This caused her to roll her eyes

"Yeah yeah I already got the lecture from Shaundi, I don't need it from you too" She waved her hand at Pierce before wrapping her arm around Shaundi's shoulder's "Can we just get me home so?" She looked at Shaundi who just nodded and helped her very helpless yet charming Boss to the car that Pierce had waiting for them. There had never been a dull day since she joined The Saint's, she wouldn't trade it for the world though.
