This Story take place in December 2004 after Incredibles 2

Third Person POV

Flashback: September 2004

In the passenger seat of a black Ford F-150 truck was a scrawny, auburn hair with green eyes.

In the driver seat was a large man, with red hair, a big, braided beard with light green eyes.

After a good while the man started a conversation, "How are your studies going so far?" He asked him. The man's name was Stoick Haddock. He was an officer for the city of Metroville. "Good. I really like Chemistry and Art." He replied back not looking away from the window. His name was Hiccup, Hiccup Haddock. He was currently in his freshmen year of High School and was in his second month of school. Sadly, his mother died from cancer to the throat and since then he been living with only his father.

His father grabbed his arm to get his attention, "And what about your... other studies?" He asked with a look in his eyes. Hiccup knew what he was asking, "جيد.(Good.)" He said in Arabic. Stoick smiled and gave his son a pat on the back, "優秀，你的其他研究？ (Excellent, and your other studies." In Traditional Chinese.

Just when he was about to reply a blue laser beam hits the road Infront of their truck and causes it to spin out and crash into a car and makes Hiccup blackout.

Flashback end

When Hiccup comes to, he is in a hospital on a hospital bed alone. He starts to freak out and tries to get up but when he stands up, he falls and he looks to his left leg and sees that it's gone and instead that was only a stump.

He starts to breathe fast and starts to freak out until the door opens and a nurse walk in and tries to help him up, but he pushes her away still freaking out as he tries to calm himself down.

"Please sir, calm down you're safe." She says calmly trying to calm him down. Hiccup starts to breathe more steadily and lets the nurse help him up and sits on the bed and calms down enough to ask her, "What happened?" he asked with a shaky voice. "You were in a car crash; you've been in a coma for 3 months. " She says as Hiccup starts to breathe more shakily, "Where's my father?" He asks hoping the worse didn't happen. She looks sadly a him as she says, "I'm sorry, he didn't make it."

That was the moment when Hiccup's world turned upside down.

Hiccup's POV

This can't be happening. This can't be happening! I kept on thinking to myself, trying to calm down.

I look at the nurse, "Can I have some time alone please?" I ask her trying not to cry. She nods and walks out the room.

Right when the door closes, I just let my tears fall out of my eyes as I just break down. I slap myself in the face. "Wake up! Wake up!" I yell to myself as I try to wake up from this nightmare. But after 5 minutes I stop. I was in a coma for 3 months? It almost felt like I was just imagining things, but I wasn't.

My father is dead, I was in coma for 3 months, and my leg was gone.

The door opened and I saw a woman holding a file.

The woman looks at me, "I'm sorry about your father." She's says with sympathy. I give her a small smile. "My name is Jessica Brown, I'm a foster agent." She says and pauses as I take all this in. "Your father left a will saying that if anything happened to him, he requested that his friend, Lucius Best, would take you in." She handed me the folder she had, and I opened it. Inside was my father's will and a picture of man with the name 'Lucius Best' on the bottom of it.

I look back at her, "When am I going to leave?" I ask her. "In a couple minutes. He already signed the papers while you were asleep and he's on his way." I nod to her as I give her back the folder. She left the room as I put my head in my head in my hands as I cried.

A few minutes later pass and I see a newspaper with the headline taking about an attack that happened the day the crash happened.

It said, 'Syndrome's attack on Metroville' the picture had a man flying with a black and white suit with a cape and a giant robot shooting lasers. I read the paper and I learned about what happened. This man attacked the city and killed my father in the process but was stopped by these people who wore red suits. 'Supers save the city,' said the next page. I read the next page and it said that supers were now legal.

What!? Why? These 'Supers' are heroes, but they couldn't even save my dad. The door opened again, and Ms. Brown came back in with a guy who looked like the guy in the picture, Lucius Best. He looked at me with a smile, "Hey kid, I'm Lucius, I was a friend of your father before... um." He closes his eyes as the smile fades off his face. I swallow nervously, "It's okay, I know." I say as I hold out the newspaper. He sighs as he puts a hand on my shoulder.

"Look kid, I know I won't be able to replace your dad but if you ever need anything then please, don't be afraid to ask." He says with sympathy. I nod and a nurse comes in with as weird piece of metal that looked like a leg. "This is your new prosthetic." Sayd Lucius, I grabbed the leg and I try to put it on. To my surprise, it sticked on just fine. I looked at Lucius with a surprised look, "Things have changed since the attack." He said with a smirk.

I stood up and to my surprise the prosthetic was really good. It felt like my old leg, the only difference being that I didn't have any toes anymore. "Ready to go kid?" He asked me. I nodded and we walked out of the building into his car. I drifted off for a while.

Why were supers so loved. The only reason why Syndrome even attacked was because of Mr. Incredible turning him down when he was younger. The reason why my father was dead is because Supers aren't good enough, they aren't good enough to save people.

Me on the other hand... I can save people better than an entire family of Supers can. I just have to use the skills I have and use them to both save people and honor my father.

I hope anyone who read this liked the origin of Hiccup in this book. Also,this will not be a Hiccstrid book so please don't ask about Hiccstrid. With that out of the way, I also want to talk about the release of every chapter, I will(hopefully) post one chapter every week.
