4:30am
Duncan's House
The town is still asleep but curfew is already over 30 minutes ago, which is why a certain delinquent is plotting a plan to escape his hometown. He is currently packing with his small backpack and putting everything he might need, this includes a couple of clothes, 3 bottles of water, a couple of potato chips, a lighter, his wallet, a credit card he stole from his mother's purse as well as money he stole from his dad's wallet. He wore his black hoodie, black gloves, his back pack, grabbed his knife and cellphone and putted it in his pockets. He gently opened his window, making sure it doesn't wake his parents up, Once opening it, he carefully went outside into a small tight landing just below the window, he tip toed his way into a huge pipeline, from there he climbed down, thanks to the pipes being huge and well supported. He managed to climb down quietly and reached the ground from there on he quickly ran away from the house and into the streets.
4:37 am
The delinquent is currently sitting in a bench, on a street just a few blocks away from the city center, waiting for a friend to pick him up. Compared to other streets, the street he settled in is a bit separated from the residential area, there were only a few houses far away from where he is and his currently surrounded by trees, the area around him is completely dark with only the street lamp above him as the light source. The complete silence around the area is somehow making him anxious for some reason. He immediately tried to call his delinquent friend but so far no one was answering.
"Come on, pick up" He muttered as the phone continue to rang. It wasn't until he saw car lights in a distance, it pulled up in front of him, revealing his delinquent friend Miller, he's a person with an Italian background, with tan skin, a buzz cut hair and he's wearing a black hoodie. "Sup Miller" Duncan greeted.
"I'm doing fine...let me guess, you failed the exam" Miller guessed, his mohawk delinquent friend just slowly nodded. "Not surprised...did anything malicous to pass the exam?" He asked again.
"I made a deal with a shoplifter and a bunch of spoiled brats alright, I'm currently suspended for 5 days as well as grounded" Duncan replied in annoyance.
"Spoiled brats? That's something new" Miller thought.
"Yeah yeah whatever shut up and open the door already" Duncan pleaded in annoyance, his delinquent friend opened the car dolr, letting him inside.
"So...where do you wanna go?" Miller asked. Duncan began to think.
"Don't really care where...I just wanna get out of Wawanakwa" Duncan replied.
"...wanna stop by for some Burgers and Milkshakes?" Miller asked.
"HECK YEAH!" Duncan said in delight as they drove off cheering.
6:30am
"AUGHHHHHHHH!" A dad yelled in frustration as he kicked the front door wide open. "I knew that little snitch would escape! Augh, what were we thinking?!, I swear If I saw that little delinquent again, I'm gonna turn him into a living pretzel!" Duncan's father angrily exclaimed as he headed for his car. His wife is following him, trying to call her son.
"Augh, he's not answering his phone" His wife said.
"OF COURSE HIS NOT ANSWERING, THAT GUY IS A CRIMINAL!" Her husband barking before getting in the car.
"Jeez, calm the heck down" His wife replied as she opened the car door and seating next to the driver's seat.
"How do you expect me to calm down?! Our criminal son escaped. He already stole your credit cart and money from my wallet. What do you think he's currently doing out there right now? Vandalizing? Smoking? Driving cars and crashing them on purpose? Running around in his birthday suit? Giving kids seizures? He could possibly even have a freaking supplier for smuggling drugs!" His father thought.
"Okay, the rest I can agree but the last one...I don't think Duncan would go THAT far" His mother thought, the father just raised an eyebrow.
"You think?! Honey, you don't know what that criminal is capable of doing. He already made a deal with a bunch of spoiled brats AND a shoplifter to get them the answer key for the final exam, what else could he do?" His father stated. "Try calling his parole officer" He pleaded.
"I already called his parole officer, he said they're currently tracking him" She replied back.
"Augh, sometimes I wonder what went wrong raising him. I'm a police officer, you're an elementary teacher yet the two things he hate the most is school and cops...Augh, I'm just so done with that boy!" He complained. The mother continued to call his son but unfortunately there was no reply. She just sighed as they drove towards the police station.
7:00am
Lennicks Mansion
All guards are lined up in Taylor's room, each are holding a clipboard filled with pictures and the full names of every student in Wawanakwa High School. The spoiled brat is sitting on her big canopy bed like a queen being assisted by her peasants. She has three highlighter pens beside her each colored green, orange and red. For every picture in the clipboard shown, she will either use a green pen and put a check sign indicating the person is invited. A red pen for an "x" sign indicating the person isn't invited. And finally an orange pen for a circle sign indicating that the person isn't invited but the person is also considered "banned" from the mansion.
"No, no, no, no, no, yes, no, no, yes, no-" The list goes on and on as Taylor marked every student by category. So far the students who were only marked check from Class 0708 were Cody, Lindsay, Alejandro, Justin and Sierra. Counting Sugar and Amy, there were 15 other students from her batch that were marked check. The last clipboard was presented, this includes Heather's name.
"No, no, no, no, NO and no" Taylor exclaimed as no one from the clipboard was invited, Heather's picture was circled.
So far the students whose pictures were circled with an orange pen were Duncan, Bridgette, Harold, Leshawna, Tyler, Ezekiel, Gwen and Heather.
"What are we gonna do for the students you encircled miss Taylor?" The guard asked.
"It's simple, make sure those students never go within Royal Street, if they enter Royal Street, call the police immediately" Taylor pleaded, the guard nodded before walking away. A few minutes later, Anderson came in the room and approached the spoiled brat, who raised an eyebrow.
"What are you doing here? I thought we agreed to never approach me unless I called for you?" She arrogantly asked much to Anderson's annoyance.
"Look I'm just wondering, you made a deal with a shoplifter and got caught..." Anderson mentioned.
"So?!" Taylor exclaimed, raising an eyebrow, annoyed about it.
"So don't you think that...not a lot of people are gonna accept your invitations-" He was cut off.
"Anderson, you're not helping...and so what If they don't come...like the students from my stupid school aren't the only ones I will invite" Taylor said, Anderson raised an eyebrow.
"...you mean, there will be more people on the guest list?" Anderson questioned.
"Of course...my stupid school might've knew about me but Daddy made sure that this news doesn't spread to other schools and organizations" Taylor said. "So if you're wondering, I will also be inviting my friends from Raymond Hills Private school while my Daddy will invite his friends and colleagues" Taylor mentioned. "So...ready your laptop because we are gonna cause some drama on the media" She said as she walked away and left the room, leaving his bodyguard to just sigh in frustration.
10:35am
Wawanakwa High School
Remedial Class
Miss Lipson is currently teaching Basic Calculus, majority of the class seem to follow on but it's no surprise that some students are having difficulty.
"So what is the derivative of x raised to n? Can anyone answer?" Miss Lipson asked, there were a few who raised thier hands. "Hmm, it's always the same people. Hmm...you know let me just call a student...uh...Geoff!" She called the party boy, who gulped in shock. "Can you tell us the derivative of x raised to n?" She asked again as the party boy stood up, nervously sweating. The whole class just looked at him for more than 10 seconds, yet he couldn't give an answer. Other students tried to help him by showing the answer on their notebooks but the party boy wasn't paying attention, as he completely ended up having a mental block, trying to form the things he want to remember. Another 10 seconds have passed.
"Uh...Look Geoff, if you don't know the answer then you can just sit down" Miss Lipson said.
"Wait ma'am no...I know this...it's ummm...uh..." Geoff started to think again.
"It's okay Geoff, you can just sit down and-"
"It's x times n raised to n minus 1, where...uh...n is a real number...right?" Geoff finally had an answer.
"Uh...yeah...you got it correct Geoff, you may now sit down" Miss Lipson said much to the party boy's relief but at the same time he was still sweating nervously. A few snickers were heard behind him, mostly coming from a dirt farmer.
12:05pm
Remedial class is finally dismissed, the teacher just gathered the calculus exercises as most of the students started packing up and leaving the classroom.
"OH MY GOSH!" Lindsay cheered in delight. The other students just raised an eyebrow.
"What? You finally realized your real boyfriend's name was actually Tyler?" Scott remarked.
"Wait, it was actually Tyler? I thought it was Tyrone...Anyways, my dad just texted me that I received an invitation from Taylor Lennicks for her birthday party eeeeeee!" Lindsay cheered.
"EEEEEEE!" Katie and Sadie cheered as well until they realized that it was from Taylor Lennicks.
"Wait a minute, why are we cheering? Taylor's a psychopathic brat!" Katie said.
"Oh my gosh, I know right" Sadie said.
"Are you serious?! Taylor made a deal with a shoplifter, physically assaulted people and now she's throwing a party?! Does she really expect people to go to her party after everything she did?" Justin complained.
"Yeah, parties were invented by my great great-"
"SHUT UP STACI!" Everyone shuts her off.
"Hey it's Taylor, she'll probably invite only the rich people here...like Justin, Dakota-" Scott said.
"Honestly, even If I received an invitation to her party, I won't accept it. Not after everything she did to us" Dakota admitted.
"I have a modeling career going on, no way I'm gonna attend this brat's party. It will ruin my image" Justin said, the other students stated there own opinions about Taylor, all of it are obviously negative. Miss Lipson is just listening to all these conversations, smiling at it because she as well agrees that throwing a party for a spoiled brat who caused both physical and emotional pain towards other students is just completely ridiculous.
"Ehem...CLASS!" Miss Lipson called out, the whole class turned to her. "Look I know it's been a long day and all but I think it's best if we just not think about Taylor's party...and just you know rest at home. Plus, there is a remedial exam on Wednesday, so try your best and practice especially the ones who have difficulty and Calculus and Chemistry" Miss Lipson said. Scott immediately patted Geoff's shoulders, he had no idea if this pat is a sign of support or a sign of mocking. "Alright, see you tomorrow class!" Miss Lipson said as the rest of the students left the classroom. "Oh...uhm, Geoff...can I talk to you for a second?" She called the party boy, who nodded and approached her at the teacher's desk.
"Do you have a tutor?" Miss Lipson asked.
"Oh uh...I guess my girlfriend? She's the only person helping me study this time" Geoff replied.
"Ah I see" She responded.
"I messed up, didn't I?" Geoff guessed, referring to the exercises they did a while ago.
"What? Oh...no, no you didn't messed up Geoff. In fact, you actually got most of it right" She said, much to the party boy's surprise as she showed him his worksheet. There are 15 items, he got the first 10 correct, but the only reason he didn't got any point in the last five is because it was all blank. "I'm guessing, you didn't have time to finish this exercise" She guessed, the party boy just slowly nodded and lowered his head in disappointment. "Hmmm, the thing here is, you're not having difficulty by the problems themselves, you're having difficulty by the way you process it in your mind. You know the formulas and all but your brain is just slow that you're not able to finish in time, and sometimes you even lose or forget things once you're under pressure...just like a while ago when I called you" She explained.
"Oh man...I might fail the exam!" Geoff nervously exclaimed.
"Woah don't say that Geoff...look you can fix this. I mean it's Calculus, what's happening to you also happens to many students studying this subject, it's very common. I was even like you when I was young you know" She shared.
"Really?" Geoff asked.
"Yeah, I could be even worse than you. Because when I was just a high school student, I was just completely lost, as in I don't know any formulas or any rules because once I crack under pressure I forget everything. But, I didn't give up. I tried to practice more and once I crack under pressure again, I just tell myself to focus on the goal, so that I won't forget everything that I learned" She said, this comforted Geoff a bit. "So my advice, you practice more until you get used to it. Once you're used to it then you have no more problem in processing it slowly" She said. The party boy nodded.
"Thank you" He thanked.
"No problem, just don't be violent like...yeah, you know what I'm talking about" She said, referring to Alejandro.
"Look ma'am...I know what Alejandro did to Scott was awful but...Alejandro never meant to do that...he just did it because he couldn't handle the pressure anymore" Geoff defended the Latino.
"I know...but still I don't tolerate violence, which is why I was so happy Taylor, Amy and Sugar got expelled" Miss Lipson said. The party boy then felt his cellphone vibrating, he picked it up and realized Bridgette is calling him.
"Uh...I gotta go, see you tomorrow Miss Lipson!" Geoff dismissed himself as he left the classroom, Miss Lipson just nodded.
12:30pm
Alejandro's House
The younger brother is currently having dinner with his family in the dining room minus Jose, who finished lunch earlier than the others. The older brother is just in his bedroom, lying on his bed while holding a book wide open. However, he wasn't reading a book, he was just looking at it for 30 minutes straight as thoughts flooded his mind, guilt is eating him alive as he debates to himself whether he should reveal the dark secret he's hiding from everyone except one specific person. He finally closed the book and decided to charge his phone, only to realize that his younger brother borrowed his charger. He groaned as he left his bedroom and weakly walked towards Alejandro's bedroom, noticing that his charger is just sitting on top of his brother's desk right next to his cellphone. Jose immediately grabbed his charger and was about to leave when he suddenly heard a notification sound coming from his younger brother's cellphone. Curiously, he checked the phone and noticed a message coming from Heather. He smirked at this and decided to open the convo, thinking it's one of those "cheesy" flirty text messages but he widened his eyes as soon as he read the message.
"Hey Alejandro, Look if you're available today then please meet us in front of Duncan's House at around 12:45 - 1pm. Guess what? We finally found out the reason you failed the exam ;) If you're not available then I'll just explain everything to you later" The message said.
Jose nearly dropped Alejandro's cellphone, completely shocked he started sweating nervously. For the first time ever, he felt this feeling of butterflies in his stomach or carrying the weight of heavy rocks by his shoulder. He suddenly heard footsteps approaching, so he quickly replied back in the convo saying that he'll go, as well as deleting the other notifications. The door opened and an annoyed Alejandro questioned his brother's presence in his room.
"What the heck are you doing here?" Alejandro questioned.
"Sheesh calmate, I'm just here to get my charger" Jose replied as he showed his charger.
"Good, now get the heck out of here!" Alejandro exclaimed, Jose just rolled his eyes as he casually left the room, his younger brother gave him nasty glares along the way. As soon as the older brother left the room, he quickly skiddled towards his bedroom and prepared himself as he is about to go to Duncan's house.
12:37pm
Somewhere in Muskoka, Ontario. 30 kilometers away from the city borders of Wawanakwa.
Two delinquents are currently refueling in a gas station. Duncan is just chilling in the front seat while Miller is refueling the car. The green mohawked delinquent then felt his cellphone vibrating, he thought it was gonna be his parents again but picking it up, he realized it was Jose calling him. He narrowed his eyes in suspicion and wonders why he's calling him at this hour.
"Hey Miller, I'm just gonna take this phone call real quick. I'll meet you at the parking lot in a minute" Duncan excused himself, his friend nodded as he stepped out of the car and walked towards the benches by the convenience store nearby, where it was more quiet. He finally picked up the call and was the first to respond.
"Why the heck are you calling me right now?" Duncan asked.
"Look, where are you right now?" Jose curiously asked.
"Huh? Why should I give you that information?" Duncan asked suspiciously.
"Okay fine don't tell me. I'm gonna ask you, where the heck did you hid the Pon-Thwang bottle that I gave you?" Jose asked.
"What?...Oh, uh I just hid it in a compartment in the arcade. Why? It's not like someone will find it, and even if someone did, they wouldn't know what it was used for" Duncan assured.
"SOMEONE DID! Oh crap, this is bad!" Jose exclaimed.
"Hold up, why the heck do you sound so stressed right now?!" Duncan questioned.
"Look, I checked Alejandro's phone and apparently, his classmate named "Heather" messaged him, saying that he should meet up with her in front of YOUR house, as well as her stating that she knows the reason Alejandro failed the exam" Jose explained, Duncan widened his eyes in shock.
"Oh crap" Duncan muttered in fear, knowing that this will cause him more trouble and even a bigger punishment than juvie.
"Alright look, wherever you are right now, DON'T COME HOME. I'll try to prevent Heather from spilling the secret to your parents. I'll message you later when it's done" Jose said before hanging up. Duncan groaned in frustration as Miller walked pass him.
"Yo, where are you going?" Duncan asked.
"Just to the toilet, I'll just meet you back at the car" He replied.
"Wait, I'll go with you. I need to freshen up!" Duncan said in frustration as he speed walked towards the restroom, Miller just shrugged at this. Little did they know that someone is spying on them just behind the parked cars.
At the Toilet...
The two delinquents entered the toilet, it contains three stalls and three urinals. Duncan went towards the sink to wash his hands and soak his face while Miller headed for the urinals to pee. They were the only ones present there and the two just did their own business until they heard the front door slammed shut again. Duncan looked back at the door but raised an eyebrow when he realized there was no one there.
"HYAH!"
"OW!" A foot went straight directly to the delinquent's groin before he even noticed it, he kneeled in pain. He looked up, it was a girl, her face is covered by a hoodie.
"What the-"
"HYAH!" Bam, the girl did the same thing to Miller as he also kneeled down in pain. She quickly dragged the two delinquents across the floor and each cuffed one of their hands into a metal pipe just attached to the wall. The boys continued to groan in pain as the girl took off her hoodie, revealing a very familiar brunnette.
"Ow..." Duncan finally recovered, realizing he's now cuffed to a metal pipe. "What the..." He tried to take it off. "HEY, WHAT IS THI-" The delinquent gasped when he realized the girl was actually his C.I.T. girlfriend, Courtney. "COURTNEY?!?"
She beamed in pride and gave a smirk.
"You guys know each other?" Miller asked, still confused.
"YES/NO!" The couple said in unison before glaring at each other.
"Why did you do this to us?!?" Duncan exclaimed.
"For your own good of course" Courtney replied as she picked up a walkie talkie from her shirt. "Hello, Officer Nelson. It's Courtney" She called.
"Oh, you have GOT TO BE KIDDING!" Duncan angrily exclaimed, he tried to run towards Courtney but can't because his hand is cuffed.
"Hey Courtney, what's the situation? Any word about Duncan?" His father replied in the device.
"Yes, as a matter of fact I have him and a friend of his cuffed in the bathroom so that they won't escape when you guys get here" Courtney replied.
"Um, can you atleast let me go since I don't think I'm supposed to be involved im this" Miller remarked. Duncan gave a smirk.
"Hey Courtney, tell my dad that Miller Blues here is also cuffed with me" Duncan said.
"DUDE!" Miller exclaimed, Duncan chuckled.
"Oh yeah, the other friend handcuffed next to him is named 'Miller Blues', If I'm wrong this is the son of Officer Blues?" Courtney asked for clarification.
"Affirmative, Good job Courtney. I'll inform Officer Blues about his son, for noe can you please tell us the address of where you guys are right now?" Officer Nelson asked.
"We're at the groovy gas station at Blake Street in the small village of Pakhitew, just about...35 kilometers outside of Wawankawa City" Courtney replied. Duncan and Miller just stared in disbelief.
"Copy that, do you think you can escort them here in Wawanakwa, or do you want me to send police officers there to escort you back?" Officer Nelson questioned. Courtney just eyed the two, Duncan just rolled his eyes.
"I think it's best if you just send police officers here. I don't think I can bring them back in Wawanakwa alone since they'll probably escpae" The Latina replied.
"Copy that Courtney, just wait I'll be sending police officers there soon. It'll only take about 15-25 minutes" Officer Nelson stated.
"Copy that" Courtney said before the two hung up. The three continued to glare at each other.
"Thanks a lot Duncan!" Miller sarcastically remarked.
"You're welcome" Duncan taunted as he smiled, his friend just rolled his eyes. He turned back to his girlfriend. "So, when did you start working for my Dad?" Duncan curiously asked.
"Your father called me as early as 7 in the morning just as they found out that you escaped and stole their credit card AND money...he asked me If I can help in tracking you and apparently I did because I know my boyfriend enough to the fact that the village of Pakhitew is where you always hang everytime you want to escape from something" Courtney explained as she eyed her boyfriend. The two literally had this silent tension going on as they kept glaring at each other.
"Okay...why do I feel like the third wheel here?" Miller remarked since he is pretty much right.
"Oh yeah Miller, I heard your dad just got your failed test results" Courtney taunted. Miller groaned in defeat.
"Damn it" He muttered.
"Oh don't worry Miller, I'm sure you tried your best and didn't cheat nor made a deal with a shoplifter and a bunch of spoiled brats just like what MY BOYFRIEND DID" Courtney pointed out as she gave another nasty glare at Duncan, who glared back.
"...well this day just got worse" Duncan remarked.
12:40pm
Geoff, Bridgette and Heather are now headed towards Duncan's house. Geoff is currently driving his pick up truck, Bridgette sits beside him while Heather sits in the back, trying to call Alejandro, who hasn't picked up yet.
"So...how are we gonna explain this to Duncan's parents?" Geoff questioned.
"We just get straight to the point, show them the evidence and hopefully we can get Duncan to spill the whole story. We don't even know the man, who gave him the bottle of Pon-Thwang yet" Heather said.
"Wouldn't his parents be shocked if it's just straight to the point?" Geoff asked, concerned.
"I doubt it, Duncan's a long time juvie criminal. They would more likely be pissed than surprised" Heather stated.
"...so, how was remedial class today?" Bridgette asked the party boy.
"Oh it was pretty good...oh yeah, by the way did you guys know about Taylor's birthday party?" Geoff mentioned. The two raised an eyebrow.
"Oh crap I totally forgot...Taylor's 18th birthday is on Wednesday" Heather remembered yet she kinda glad she forgot about it.
"...and she's throwing a party? I doubt people will actually go to her party, not after all the crap she did in our High School" Bridgette mentioned.
"Oh about that...knowing Taylor, she will not only invite people from our high school. She will invite every single rich student in every highschool from Wawanakwa to Raymond Hills" Heather mentioned.
"Raymond Hills? Isn't that like the richest area in all of Canada?" Geoff stated.
"Yep, that's where Taylor's father works" Heather said.
"Seriously, how rich is Taylor's father?" Geoff asked.
"Wanna know something? Well, Taylor's father's brother is the person who recently owns "Royal Heads Incorporated". That's like a multi billion dollar company" Heather stated.
"Damn..." Geoff remarked, shock to finally see how rich Taylor is.
"If their family is this rich, why don't they just stay in Raymond Hills? This city will be 10 times better without them" Bridgette said.
"That's because Taylor's mom grew up here. Plus, Taylor wasn't really accepted in the private school in Raymond Hills" The three chuckled at this since they knew why she wasn't accepted. "That's why they decided to just settle in Royal Street, a.k.a the richest area in Wawanakwa" She added.
"Alright, were here" Geoff said as he stepped on the brake. They finally reached Duncan's house.
"Alejandro's not here yet" Bridgette pointed out as she stepped out of the car.
"He should be here, he messaged me earlier but if he doesn't make it, I'll just explain it ti him later." Heather said as she and Geoff also stepped out of the car. The three made their way to the front door of the delinquent's house. Geoff just slowly rang the doorbell. There was no response for 30 seconds, he rang the doorbell again, no answer. He tried knocking but yet again, there was no response.
"Dudes, I don't think anyone's at home" Geoff pointed out, the other two girls looked around, Bridgette noticed the parking lawn is empty.
"Yep, no one is at home" The surfer girl confirmed.
"Okay uh, where do you think they went?" Heather questioned.
"Hmmm, Duncan's dad is probably at the police station, so let's go there" Bridgette said, the two nodded as Heather picked up her cellphone and tried to call the Latino.
"Come on Alejandro, pick up" She muttered as the phone rang for 10 more seconds yet no response. The three then heard a car approaching them, they turn to see a familiar blue car in the distance.
"I guess that's Alejandro" Bridgette thought, the party boy quickly backed away in fear. Heather raised an eyebrow.
"Why are you backing away? Duncan's the guilty one here, he won't be angry at you" Heather said. The party boy still remained in a distance, In case. The three proceeded to wave at the vehicle as it parked in front of the house right next to Geoff's pick up truck. At that moment, the three refrained from waving when they realized it wasn't the Latino they were expecting. Instead, his older brother Jose, stepped out of the car, looking presentable.
"...Jose?" Heather said, confused. "What are you doing here?" She asked.
"It seems that my younger brother was grounded enough that he wasn't allowed to go outside. So he asked me to be the one to know whatever information you have to prove about my brother's failure" Jose spoke up. Heather just noticed something about his voice that seemed off.
"Hold on...Alejandro trusted you?" Heather asked.
"Just like what I said, he was grounded" Jose clarified.
"Yeah, but I just told him that I'll be the one explaining everything to him by text if he couldn't make it. So that he himself could show the evidence to you and your family" Heather explained.
"Well now that I'm here, you guys could show me the evidence so that I would be able to explain it later to my family" Jose said. "I seem to know that all the evidence are all in that cellphone of yours right?" He pointed out. Instead of responding, the raven haired girl took a step back and narrowed her eyes in suspicion. "Please" He begged.
"Heather just do it" Geoff whispered.
"If you want this evidence then I suggest you call your family members, it's either that or tell Alejandro himself to meet us here" Heather pleaded.
"My younger brother entrusted me to do this for him. Do you want me to go back and tell him that his friends cannot be trusted as well?" Jose threatened.
"And what makes you think that we can trust you?" Heather asked. "If you answer this question right then we might share this information with you" She added. The two began to glare at each other.
"Uhhhh...hey, why don't we just all go to the police station. That way, we can all share this information we have including Duncan's father" Bridgette suggested.
"Yeah and then Jose can just call his family later on" Geoff added.
"I agree with that" Heather agreed.
"That could work but-" Heather cuts him right off.
"BUT?...BUT...but what? Jose. Are you saying that you don't want to go to the police station hence you don't want Duncan's parents to know about this?...why so?" Heather curiously asked as she continue to eye the Latino, who glared back, this is when she finally realizing the truth. "...You're the person who gave Duncan the Pon-Thwang bottle!...Aren't you?!?" Heather exclaimed, the other two blondes were shocked. Jose took this opportunity and yanked the cellphone from Heather's hand. "Hey!"
Jose began to run a few feet. "I apologize for this" He apologized before throwing the cellphone directly to the ground and smashing it with his foot and boot. He lifted his foot uo, revealing Heather's now badly damaged cellphone, glass is shateres, it's completely shut down and destroyed.
"NO!" Heather cried.
"I'm terribly sorry seƱorita, but I won't let you expose me in front of my family, who fully trusts me!" Jose exclaimed. The three just stared in complete disbelief.
"Why would you backstab your own brother?!?" Bridgette asked in disbelief.
"Because he's jealous and can't accept the fact that his brother can be better than him!" Heather exclaimed as she continue to glare at the Latino, who is just about to walk away. "Fun fact, you didn't really "destroyed" every evidence we have" Heather pointed out. The Latino quickly turned back.
"WHA-" Heather quickly pepper sprayed his eyes as he screamed in pain. "Aaaaaahhhhh, MIS OJOS!!!!" He cried and continued to scream.
"Hurry, we need to go to the police station now!" Heather said as all three ran back to Geoff's pick up truck. The party boy quickly started the vehicle and drove off as fast as he can.
"Will Jose be alright?" Geoff asked, still concerned.
"He'll be fine, for now we need to show this evidences to Duncan's parents. He may have destroyed my phone but I sent the video to Bridgette plus we still have the Pon-Thwang bottle used" Heather explained.
"I still can't believe he did that to Alejandro, that was just cold" Bridgette remarked. Geoff sighed before quickly stepping on the brake.
"Woah, why did we stop?" Heather questioned.
"It's Alejandro!" Geoff pointed out, the Latino was indeed just walking down by the sidewalk, he looked towards them completely bewildered. The raven haired girl opened the door.
"Get in Alejandro!" Heather called. The Latino was completely confused but regardless he went inside the car anyways.
"Mind telling me what's going on here?" Alejandro said.
"We'll explain on the way, Geoff start the car right now and head to the police station!" Heather ordered.
"I'm on it!" Geoff quickly stepped on the gas as they drove off.
"Geoff?!? What is he doing here?" The Latino questioned, the party boy gulped.
"He helped us Alejandro, and it's not his fault. It was Jose and Duncan" Heather finally revealed. The Latino just widened his eyes in shock, completely bewildered. He was actually expecting Duncan to be in the mess but he never expected his own brothet to be sabotaging him.
"WHAT?!?" Alejandro angrily exclaimed.
"Oh boy" Geoff muttered as he continued to drove off. Meanwhile Jose is already recovering easily from the pepper spray thanks to the eyedroos he had in his pakcet, he quickly went towards his car and drove off, also headed to the police stations.
12:45pm
Back at the gas station in Pakhitew.
There was just complete awkward silence. Duncan and Miller are just both sitting in the floor as both are still cuffed to the metal pipe on the wall. Courtney is just standing there, walking back and forth, waiting for the police to arrive.
"Nice legs you got there princess" Duncan taunted.
"If you don't want me to put that foot right back in your testicular area then you better shut up" Courtney said.
"Jeez, your girlfriend needs a chill pill seriously" Miller muttered loud enough for Courtney to hear.
"What's that?!?" Courtney exclaimed.
"Uh...nothing" Miller shook his head.
"Listen princess, what you're doing here can be considered as physical assault, you just attacked me and Miller out of nowhere and now both of us are handcuffed in the bathroom" Duncan stated.
"I know my tactics can be harsh and unexcusable but It's the only thing I can do to make sure you two never escape" Courtney said. The green mohawked delinquent then noticed a hair pin on the ground in one of the stalls. He streches his leg to grab it but quickly retreated back when the Latina turned back at them. "You know Duncan, you should be thankful that the school still has you on hold. I don't knoe if you already heard about the news but Taylor, Amy and Sugar are finally expelled from that campus" Courtney mentioned. Duncan actually find this news to be pretty good.
"Finally" Duncan muttered. The Latina bend closer to him, facing him.
"Let me ask you Duncan, why did you agree to work with the popular girls?" Courtney asked curiously. Duncan just gave a neutral look.
"I can't tell you that Princess because I may reveal something you're not gonna like" Duncan warned as he gave a serious look. Courtney just sighed.
"Okay fine, don't talk" Courtney said as she stood uo and turned away. Duncan quickly stretched his leg and finally grabbed the pin with his shoe, dragging it towards him. Miller also noticed this. "You know I've been wandering about this, You, Geoff and Alejandro went to that bros trip the day before the exams. Coincidentally, all three of you failed including Alejandro, which is weird becuase...the guy is a long time honor student and he never failed an exam on all those years of high school...Is it just me or...you also have something to do with him failing the exam?" Courtney wandered, the delinquent just widened his eyes.
"What makes you think that I did that?...because I'm a delinquent?" Duncan scoffed, trying his best to hide the truth.
"Technically yeah...becuase you're the only person capable of doing that...I sure hope I'm wrong though" Courtney said, little did she know that Duncan is slowly being eaten by guilt.
Back at Wawanakwa...
The group finally reached the police station. All four students quickly stepped out as soon as Geoff parked it, they all skiddled towards the entrance like a bunch of shoppers during a sale in the mall. They reached the main lobby of the station as Geoff called out.
"We're looking for Officer Nelson!" He called out as the guards looked at them.
"Looking for me?" An officer called, they all turn to see Officer Nelson approaching them. "Geoff? Bridgette?" He recognized his son's friends.
"Look Officer, we need to talk and show you something about Duncan" Geoff stated.
"If you're talking about where he escaped right now, we just caught him thanks to Courtney and currently the police officers are already on their way to escort them back here" Officer Nelson explained.
"Duncan isn't on Wawankawa?" Heather said.
"...and Courtney is helping?" Alejandro said.
"Well yes...she's such a smart and tough girl that we can count on her" Officer Nelson added. Heather finally spoke up.
"Look Officer, we came here because we want to discuss something with you and it does indeed involve your son, Duncan" Heather explained. Officer Nelson kust raised an eyebrow.
Officer Nelson's Office.
Duncan's father is sitting at his desk while Bridgette and Heather sat in front of him. Geoff and Alejandro just stood behind them.
"On the day before the exams, Duncan, Alejandro and Geoff went on a trip. All three of them claimed to have a group study" Heather started the conversation, the party boy and Latino nodded. "On the day the exam results were revealed, all three of them failed the exam, including Alejandro, who is a long time honor student and has never failed a single exam in his highschool years until now" She continued. The officer just raised an eyebrow. "Unfortunately, Alejandro revealed to us that the bros trip was actually just a cover up for all three of them to attend a gaming tournament that was cancelled on the last minute...They were about to go home when all off a sudden Alejandro started acting crazy and aggressive" She explained, The Latino just sighed at it and slowly nodded. Officer Nelson widened his eyes. "and soon, Alejandro accidentally got trapped in the trunk of a truck headed towards Toronto, so this trip soon became a rescue mission to save Alejandro" She added.
"Wh...what do you mean...you're saying that your friend Alejandri here started acting crazy out of nowhere?" The Officer Nelson asked for clarification.
"Yes, in simple words Officer. Alejandro basically became drunk out of nowhere and it was just all off a sudden" Geoff explained.
"Yeah, and I had no idea what I was doing. Once I reached Toronto, I couldn't remember a single thing that happened" Alejandro added.
"...Do you guys have proof of this incident?" Officer Nelson asked.
"Yes we do Officer" Bridgette replied as she revealed her phone since Heather's phone was destroyed. She showed the officer the video of Alejandro seen riding a cart and acting crazy across the sidewalks. The officer was just completely bewildered.
"Wh...where is this taken?" He questioned.
"It was captured by the CCTV footages in City center arcade" Heather replied. "Now, the thing is Alejandro said that the only thing they drank were a bunch of energy drinks, which means that can only be the possible reason for his mysterious behaviour that day" She pointed out before scrolling to the next video showing the footage of Alejandro and Duncan both having a break with energy drinks, where the Latino went to the toilet while the delinquent went out of the scene.
"That's when me and Duncan were havingna snack break, I went to the toilet" Alejandro said.
"...and Duncan went outside the arcade" Heather said as she scrolled to another video of the footage outside the arcade. "...and apparently Duncan went outside to meet with someone, who gave him a box with a letter P printed on top" Heather explained as the footage shows it. She then scrolled back to the video footage of the arcade itself. "When Duncan came back, he drank one of the energy bottle drinks by half, he then pulled out a medicine bottle from the box, and poured all of it's content back to the energy bottle drink and filling it all up again. And once Alejandro came back to the toilet to meet him, Duncan gave him the contained energy bottle drink" She exolained as the footage played, there was even a slow motiom version to prove her point. Officer Nelson was completely dismayed by this.
"Do you guys know what bottle was used?" He asked. Bridgette brought out a plastic bag seal that contains the box and the bottle showed in the footage.
"We did some research on this...apparently if more than one teaspoon of this medicine is used then there would be symptoms this includes Increased Heart rate, Erratic Behaviour, Activeness, Hallucinations, Drowsiness which explains Alejandro's crazy behaviour that day" Heather explained, Alejandro slowly nodded. "Another symptom is also Temporary Dyscalculia and apparently Alejandro failed the exam because he got every single number related item wrong on the test" She explained. "...and which symptoms last for 24-36 hours" She added. Officer Nelson was just completely shocked by this information but he wanted to make sure that the students were telling the truth or actually looked through a reliable source. So he quickly searched his computer, and found the same article the others found. Henis actually quite impressed that the students did their research well but he was dismayed after once he realized that his son was involved in this.
"Do you guys know who gave him the Pon-Thwang bottle?" He asked. The four students just looked at each other, knowing who did it.
At the same time, Jose finally made it to the police station. He still a bit teary eyed because of the pepper spray but he immediately called out.
"I need to speak to Officer Nelson" He called.
"Officer Nelson is speaking with some people for a while, you may just take a seat while I inform him about it" Another officer said, Jose completely widened his eyes as he is already completely doomed.
"Oh, m*rda!" He exclaimed.
Back at the gas station...
"Look Courtney, I'm begging you, you have to let us go!" Duncan begged.
"Why?" She asked. Duncan just sighed in frustration.
"I can't tell you right now" He said, the guilt is really eating him up and his voice tells it.
"Fine, if you don't mind telling me then I wouldn't consider freeing you and Miller. Besides, the police are probably arriving right now" She mentioned.
"Court, please just let me-" Duncan refrained from talking when his phone was vibrating. He picked it uo and realized it was Jose calling him, he immediately didn't pick up the call due to the current situation. Courtney raised an eyebrow at this.
"Who's calling you?" She asked curiously.
"Uh Nothing, that's no one" Duncan nervously said as he started sweating. At this point even Miller is wondering about Duncan's strange behaviour.
"Why are you acting weird right now huh?" Courtney asked, narrowing her eyes. Duncan just gulped in fear. The phone rang again, the Latina quickly stepped on the delinquent's hand, making him release his phone. She grabbed it and widened her eyes when she realized that Jose is calling him.
"Don't answer that, please!" Duncan begged, his voice is literally so serious. Courtney glared at him and finally picked up the call, putting it on speaker phone.
"Duncan look, I failed to stop them from telling you're parents the truth about Alejandro failing the exam. Wherever you are right now, don't come back to Wawanakwa!" Jose panickly stated, not knowing that everyone else is listening to this. Courtney was just left shocked, her jaw drop as she soon glared at the delinquent in disbelief, he gulped.
"Sh*t" Duncan muttered.
"You and Duncan caused Alejandro to fail his exam?!?" Courtney angrily exclaimed as she talked to the phone. Jose was completely silent by this and shocked, he immediately hung up. "HELLO?!?" Courtney exclaimed, realizing the cinversation ended. She then turned back to face the delinquents but realized only the handcuffs are present. "What the-" Without realizing it, Duncan slapped her as she fell to the ground, his boyfriend clearly got the upper hand as they both wrestle. Courtney managed to let go of the phone, Miller grabbed it.
"Sorry Courtney!" Duncan apologized as he carried Courtney and backflipped her into the other side of the toilet. She thumped her back on the floor.
"AHHHH!" She groaned in pain.
"I'm really sorry about this!" Duncan apologetically said before he and Miller ran outside.
"Augh, Duncan!" Courtney quickly got uo and chased after them.
Outside...
Duncan and Miller are currently running for their lives right now, they are now running across the parking lot, jumping in front of the cars parked. One of the parked vehicles include a shield less pick up truck containing a few baggages stacked togethet as well as the cage of a very aggressive German Shepherd.
"Hurry!" Duncan called as they both ran towards Miller's car, which is just a few cars away. Unknowingly Duncan bumped into a ladder, that quickly fell towards the stacked baggages in the pick up truck, one of the baggages that fell was a round shaped metal bag. The weight of the bag caused it to break the top part of the German Shepherd's cage.
"DUNCAN! MILLER!" Courtney called out as she is now runnung towards them at full speed.
"Hurry!" Duncan exclaimed as the two reached Miller's car. His delinquent friend quickly started the car and is ready to drive away.
"Hey, stop right there!" Courtney called out as she passed by the parked pick up truck, she was suddenly startled when the agressive German Shephard tried to lunge at her, now free from it's cage. The Latina narrowly avoided it but she fell down to the ground and is now backing away, gulping in fear as the German Shephard is now growling at her and is slowly approaching her.
"Uh...hehe...nice doggy" Courtney mumbled in fear as she soon reached a dead end which is anither car parked at the vehicle, she has nowhere to go. Duncna and Miller are already about to drive away when they heard a familiar scream.
"Aaahhh!!!" It's coming from the Latina, Duncan quickly looked back realizing the scream.
"Courtney?" Duncan called but soon widened his eyes when he found out his girlfriend's current situation. Without hesitation, he quickly stepped out of the car and ran towards Courtney. "No, no, no, Courtney!" He called out.
The dog started to growl even more, and is now prepared to lunge at the Latina, who is now shaking in fear, not knowing what to do. And then the dog opened his mouth, revealing it's sharp teeth and is just about to lunge at the Latina.
"AAAAHHHHH!!!!" Courtney covered her face in fear but at the last second Duncan managed to push Courtney out of the way, as a result the dog bit Duncan's leg instead.
"AAAAHHHH!!!" Duncan screamed in pain as he fell to the ground, adding to the fact thst the dog bit deep into his left leg. "OW!!! OW!!!! AAAHHHHHH!!!!!" The dog continued to bite on his like it's a toy.
"DUNCAN!!!" Courtney panicked, she quickly found a stick and started hitting the dog. "LET...GO...OF...HIM!!!!!" She continued hitting the dog with the stick but still it was no use as it still continues to munch on the delinquent's leg.
"DUNCAN!!!!" Miller ran to help and quickly tried to grab Duncan's leg and the dog's mouth, trying to separate it. "AUGH, LET GO OF HIM!" Courtney still continues to beat the dog with the stick. The dog however continued to bite deep into his leg.
"GET IT OFF PLEASE!!!!" Duncan continued to scream in pain so much that he's already tearing up. Courtney tried to beat up the dog harder.
"SOMEONE HELP US HERE PLEASE!!!!" Courtney called out for help. Miller suddenly had an idea.
"Courtney, grab me that stick!" He pleaded, the Latina quickly did. "Help me separate his leg from it's mouth!" He said as Courtney quickly tried to grab the dog's mouth. Miller put the stick along the dog's teeth and together they use it to release Duncan's leg from the dog. "ALRIGHT, PUSH IT!!!!" The two continued to push through. "LET GO OF HIM!!!!" It took about 10 seconds when they finally to get the upperhand, they almost got the the teeth out of hsi leg. "PUSH!!!! COME ON LET GO OF HIM!!!!! AUGGHHHHHH!!!!!" At last, the dog finally released Duncan's leg. "YES!" But the dog continued to growl even more and is about to attack again when all off a sudden.
"BOOM!" A tranquilizer dart flew into the dog's body, causing it to pass out. The dart came from an aged man with white hair, wearing a tennis suit named Gerry.
"owwwww..." Duncan continued to groan in pain and tear up, he's just lying on the ground.
"OH MY GOSH DUNCAN!" Courtney quickly turned to the delinquent, his left leg is basically torned up, filled with bite marks, scratches and is bleeding out.
"This is bad!" Miller remarked.
"Indeed right it's bad, we have to get him to the hospital as soon as possible" Gerry responded.
"Where's the nearest clinic or hospital here?" Courtney asked.
"In Wawanakwa" Gerrie worriedly replied. Miller and Courtney groaned.
"WELL WE HAVE NO CHOICE, MILLER HELP ME GET HIM TO YOUR CAR NOW!" Courtney cried.
"Wait, I'll help!" Gerrie volunteered as he quickly carried Duncan. Miller quickly started the car as Courtney sat next to him whuke Duncan and the tennis player sat in the back.
"ALRIGHT GO GO HURRY!!!!" Courtney yelled, Miller quickly drove off.
"You might wanna tell the police officers were returning to Wawanakwa now!" Miller reminded as he sped up.
Back at Wawanakwa Police Station...
"Look Alejandro, I can explain-"
"EXPLAIN WHAT JOSE?!? ALL THIS TIME I THOUGHT YOU WERE ALWAYS JUST BETTER THAN ME BUT NOW...THE ONLY REASON THAT ALWAYS HAPPENS IS BECAUSE YOU CAN'T ACCEPT THE FACT THAT I WILL BE BETTER THAN YOU!!!!!" Alejandro had never been so angry. The two brothers are currently being restrained by two police officers, preventing them from fighting.
"Alejandro!" Bridgette called.
"What?!?" He asked angrily.
"Officer Nelson wants to speak to you" She replied before walking back to the office. The guards now released Alejandro as he proceeded to head towards the office but not without looking back and glaring at his older brother, who literally felt guilty.
Office...
"Look Alejandro, If it really was your brother who gave that medicine then I need to speak to him privately as the police will investigate him, I will allow you to call your family members and inform them about this" Officer Nelson explained.
"It would be my honor" Alejandro said in a very happy yet frustrated way.
"Where is Duncan anyway?" Geoff questioned.
"Oh, don't even bother talking about the delinquent who caused me to go crazy!" Alejandro remarked.
"The police have probably arrived there already, they would escort him, Courtney and Mil-"
"OFFICER NELSON!!!! THIS IS COURTNEY BARLOW!!!!" Courtney called in the walkie talkie, the panicking sound made everyone in the office kina concerned.
"Courtney? What's going on, what's the situation?" Officer Nelson asked.
"Officer, we're currently going back to Wawanakwa!" Courtney stated.
"WHAT?!? I already sent those police officers to escort you, how come you decided in the last minute?!?" He questioned.
"WE HAVE AN EMERGENCY OFFICER!!!! IT'S ABOUT DUNCAN!!!" Courtney is now screaming in panic.
"What about Duncan?" Officer Nelson asked.
"DUNCAN'S BEEN ATTACKED BY A DOG, HIS LEFT LEG IS NOW BLEEDING AND WE NEED TO GET HIM TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL POSSIBLE WHICH IS IN WAWANAKWA!!!!" Courtney replied in fear, everyone else in the office immediately widened their eyes as they heard this and they are now genuinely concerned about Duncan.
"WHAT?!?" Officer Nelson exclaimed in shock.
"Duncan's been attacked by a dog?!?" Geoff exclaimed in shock as well.
"Wh...Where are you guys right now?!?" Officer Nelson asked in panic.
"Somewhere in Muskoka Territory...we might get back to Wawanakwa in about 10-15 more minutes!!!" Courtney replied as Duncan's groans of pain were heard in the background, this made everyone even more concerned.
"WHAT'S HAPPENING?!?" The officer is now panicking.
"We're applying pressure to his left leg to stop the bleeding, we really need to bring him in the Emergency room as soon as possible!" Courtney replied back.
"Okay, okay, I'll inform the hospital about this and get them ready. If anything goes wrong, just tell me and please hurry!" Officer Nelson pleaded.
"Copy that" Courtney said.
Back at the car...
Gerrie is currently wrapping a clean cloth around Duncan's leg to slow the bleeding.
"You might wanna go fast Miller!" Courtney reminded.
"I'm going as fast as I can!" Miller said as he continue to overtake cars on the expressway. "Augh, they should really build at least a clinic or a hospital in Pakhitew" He remarked in frustration.
"Couldn't agree more!" Courtney agreed. She turned back to the back seat. "How is he?" She asked, concerned. Duncan is laying his head on Gerry's lap, looking really tired and sweating. The tennis player placed a cloth in his forehead as he wrapped his left leg with the cloth.
"This isn't just another normal dog bite. He had too many bite marks and scratches, not to mention the dog really bit deep right into it's leg. If we don't get him to the ER soon, his leg will be severly infected, when it's infected then the bacteria will affect all of him. Worst cases of rabies are FATAL" Gerry explained. Courtney and Miller each gave worried looks. Duncna groaned in pain again, his girlfirend quickly held his hand.
"Hey, hey, shhhh...don't worry it's gonna be okay Duncan" Courtney gently said, comforting him even though she was really worried and panicking inside.
1:10 pm
They finally reached the hospital in Wawanakwa. As soon as Miller parked, Courtney and Gerry quickly stepped out of it. The tennis player carried the now passed out delinquent.
"DUNCAN!" Their father greeted in panic as he saw his son now completely passed out. "Quick get him there!" He pleaded as Gerry placed the delinquent in the hospital bed prepared for them by the entrance of the ER. The nurses soon as escorted him to the emergency room, as Courtney, Miller, Officer Nelson and Gerry gave worried looks.
2:30pm
ER waiting room...
Courtney, Heather, Geoff, Bridgette, Alejandro, Jose, Miller, Officer Blues and Officer Nelson all nervously waited in the room. Praying and hoping that the infection doesn't go as bad as it looks. The longer it takes, the more anxious they become. Finally, the doctor came out of the main door as all immediately stood up. The doctor is a petite woman with tan skin, waist length hair and is wearing glasses. Her names is Ellody.
"So, what is the news doctor?" Officer Nelson asked.
"Well, I have good news for all of you...his heart is stable for now" Ellody confidently said, everyone gave a sigh of relief that their friend is safe. "It's a miracle that he is alive, the infection didn't turn out as bad as it did" She added.
"Thank God!" Officer Nelson thanked.
"He's resting for now, If he wakes up I'll just let you guys know so that you can visit him" Ellody mentioned.
"Thank you" Officer Nelson thanked as he smiked in relief. Doctor Ellody just nodded and smiled before walking away.
"Thank Goodness!" Courtney sighed in releif, so did everyone else. Officer Nelson turned to Courtney and Miller.
"Thank you" He thanked. "...for helping my son".
"We couldn't actually do it if it wasn't for Gerry" Courtney pointed out.
"Hold up, where is Gerry?" Miller questioned as he looked around, the tennis player was nowhere to be found. "Either way, he helped Duncan in the car, so credit also goes to him" He said, Courtney nodded as everyone cheered about Duncan being okay, the tensiom came back as soon as Alejandro gave a vengeful glare towards his older brother, who gulped in fear.
"Uh...Look Alejandro, I never meant to make you fail the exam" Jose admitted, Alejandro scoffed for obvious reasons.
"Yeah right Jose!" Alejandro exclaimed in disbelief.
"I'm serious!" Jose said
"Why don't you just admit that you did that to sabotage me and ruin my image in front of everyone including my family!" Alejandro angrily exclaimed, his voice was heard across the room that even other people were looking at him but the Latino couldn't care less since his now too angry to focus on other things.
"I didn't Alejandro, I only did that so that you could loose the tournament that was supposed to happened that day. I never intended to mess with your test results and academics" Jose explained, this is really hard for everyone to believe.
"Even if you didn't intend to mess with his exam results, that bottle is still the reason he failed the exam since symptoms lasted for 24-36 hours" Officer Nelson pointed out.
"And you still drugged him, that's considered assault" Officer Blues mentioned.
"Not to mention that drug you used against Alejandro is also banned in this country" Heather pointed out. Jose just sighed in defeat.
"Alejandro, if there's anything I could do to make up with you..." Jose said, Alejandro just rolled his eyes in complete disbelief.
"Make up with him?" Heather scoffed. "You literally SMASHED MY PHONE as an attempt to get rid of every evidence we have!" She mentioned, Jose lowered his head in guilt. "...saying that you couldn't ruin your trust with your family. If you're such a man yourself, you would've admit your own mistakes to defend your own brother!" She angrily exclaimed as she crossed her arms, the others also agreed to this.
"Okay that's enough arguing for today" Officer Nelson said before turning back to Jose. "Son, I need you to come with me to the police station right now" He pleaded, Jose completely sighed in defeat as he stood up. "You kids just stay here in the hospital, watch over Duncan" He said, all of them nodded. Officer Blues also stood up as his son Miller just stayed as well. Jose turned back one last time but it wa sjust his younger brother giving him a glare. He expected this.
5:10pm
Everyone is still at the ER waiting. The only difference is this time some visitors also came to wait, they were Courtney's Father and Bridgette's mother, the two are having a conversatiom so did everyone else in teh room. Bridgette and Courtney are having a conversation in the chairs, Geoff and Miller are having one while standing up. Alejandro is just sitting in one row of the bench alone, when Heather approached him.
"Sup mi amor" Heather greeted in a very awkward spanish accent. Alejandro just chuckled.
"You know, you're improving" He pointed out.
"Thanks" Heather confidently said before sitting right beside the Latino. "Seriously, are you okay?" She asked, now in a very serious tone. The Latino just couldn't believe his brother would do that. He really felt heartbroken, backstabbed and disbeliefed all at the same time.
"It's just...AUGH...I can't believe it...somehow something tells me that I could've seen this coming but...AUGH!" Alejandro was just completely frustrated at this, the raven haired girl jsut patted him in the back. Suddenly they heard the front door open, Doctor Ellody came out.
"Good News, you guys can now visit him" She said. "You guys are also lucky since Duncan is the only patient in ER so far. This means at least five of you can visit him, but don't overcrowd him, he still needs some space" She added.
"You guys should go, I'll stay here" Alejandro said, the five agreed to this because if Alejandro visited the delinquent, it will just upset the both of them.
"Alright then" Ellody said as she escorted the five to the ER.
Emergency Room...
Duncan was indeed the only patient in the ER, as all five quickly went to his hospital bed. The delinquent was indeed looking well, he doesn't look pale, he looks active, his left leg however is wrapped in an elastic bandages, and is currently elevated.
"DUNCAN!" Courtney called first, as the others also approached him, all are happy to see him. The Latina sat right beside him, the delinquent however didn't respond, he just looked at Courtney then right at the others then back to Courtney again. "...Is everything okay Duncan?" She asked, the others were concerned as well. The delinquent just stared at her eyes and out of nowhere started tearing up. "No, no, no please don't cry Duncan" Courtney begged.
"I'm sorry Courtney!" Duncna apologized as he continued to cry, he then gave the Latina a tight hug. Everyone else just felt bad at this.
Well this chapter was such a roller coaster to write, this chapter contained nearly 11,000 words, which is the most I've ever written in a single chapter so far. Not gonna lie, I actually stayed until 3 am writing this since all the plotlines came after the other and I just kept writing until I got tired then I just finished the fanfic at noon.
Anyways, the truth about Jose and Duncan was finally revealed, I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. See you on the next one :)
