Sasuke narrowly dodge the volley of senbon sent his way as he sped through a string of hand seals.
"Katon: phoenix flower jutsu" sasuke yelled, spewing five miniature fireballs that rammed harshly into the ice mirrors before him blanketing the area of impact in steam.
Sasuke smirked at his handiwork, his newly awakened incomplete second stage sharingan consisting of a single tomoe in his right eye and two in his left, spun wildly.
His smirk however was soon replaced with a scowl as he saw the ice mirrors reforming, the visage of his enemy, the masked hunter nin and zabuza's apprentice, reappeared. Flipping backwards he dodged yet another hail of senbon.
'dammit he's running circles around me.' sasuke thought, he had thought this fight would have been his victory with his increased strength from training and now his newly awakened sharingan the fight should have been easy.
But he had been fighting his opponent for five minutes now and between the several Katon jutsus he used and his sharingan his chakra reserves had begun draining rapidly.
Sasuke attempted to roll to the side and avoid the projectiles but hissed when several had stabbed him in his arm.
"As much as I have enjoyed this battle with you uchiha-san, I cannot let this fight be dragged out any longer less I upset zabuza-sama" the masked nin spoke raising his hand "Hyoton: thousand ice needles" in the air as countless ice senbon materialized causing sasuke's eyes to widen, "so please die." with that the senbons flew at sasuke.
'Kuso!'
Sasuke seeing the danger he was currently in ran through a familiar set of seals, his chest puffed up in humanly as he channeled every bit of his chakra into the jutsu, as he named his attack.
"Katon: Great Fireball Jutsu"
A large 20 foot tall fireball rocketed out of sasuke's mouth, the intense heat from the flames melt the approaching senbon as it slammed head first into the ice mirrors with an explosion.
Steam blanketed the fight zone as sasuke panted heavily his eyes returning back to it's usual ones black color, darkness slowly crept in sasuke mind as chakra exhaustion attempted to drag him into blissful unconsciousness he fought a losing battle as his body slumped to the ground his eyes falling close as he temporarily left the waking world.

Haku stared at the body of his opponent his mask hiding the surprise that colored his features.
'To think he would make a C ranked Jutsu so powerful while exhausted.' Haku thought looking down at his battle kimono that had several burns and holes from the unexpectedly powerful Jutsu. 'When he grows up he'll be powerful and a threat to Zabuza-sama', creating three ice senbons between his knuckles Haku made way to Sasuke's body intent on getting rid of a possible future enemy, only to jump back when a figure crash landed before him kicking up a cloud of dust.
"Your timing is impeccable shinobi-san" Haku greeted. The dust cleared to reveal Naruto staring Haku down, his dull silver eyes piercing Haku's chocolate brown ones.
Haku felt his body freeze up minutely as his eyes narrowed did this boy also have a Dojutsu? What was it?
'Kuso I can't use my demonic ice mirrors again It takes to much chakra' Haku cursed mentally
Getting into a fighting position and waited for the blonde to make the first move, he didn't have to wait long as the boy blurred towards Haku kunai poised to strike.
'Fast!' was the only thought that invaded the Hyoton user's head as he blocked the kunai with his senbons.
Swiping the kunai from his initial target, Haku jumped back away from the pursuing blonde.
Blurring through a quick set if hand seals the Haku spoke,
"Hyoton: Ice spikes"
Several spikes made of ice raced towards Naruto who dodged through the attacks expertly, Making it to Haku's location he swung his kunai in a wide ark as Haku danced around the attack before bending backwards at an odd angle when Naruto continued his spin a swung again with a kunai in a reverse grip at him.
Using his current position to his advantage Haku stuck his hand to the ground and kicked at Naruto's chin temporarily stunning him.
Jumping back up to his feet Haku rushed Naruto stabbing his senbon into the boys abdomen only for him to go up in a cloud of smoke.
'shadows clone!'
Spinning around Haku caught sight of another Naruto charging him several kunai flung his direction as Haku avoided the projectiles but just as he was going to make to attack the blonde he exploded into smoke revealing to be yet another clone.
Spinning around Haku was struck by a powerful right hook courtesy of his blonde opponent, as he was sent to the ground in a daze.
Shaking himself from his stupor Haku barely rolled out of the way to avoided the sandaled foot of Naruto that crashed down where his head had been. He watched as the earth beneath Naruto's foot seemingly wilted away and darkened.
Haku felt his eyes narrow at the area
Was that a Jutsu? He had never seen such a technique
His thoughts were brought to a halt when he kicked himself back to his feet, avoiding another stomp from Naruto and palm striking him in the chest.
Replacing the ice senbon between his knuckles Haku began moving through a string of hand seals as he watched his blonde opponent approach.
"Suiton: Water Bomb" exhaling a glob of water from his mouth Naruto summoned two clones that threw himself out of the way of the jutsu. Watching him flip through the air Haku heard his heart pounding in his air as his hands became a blow of motion, his adrenaline rush seemingly doubled in force as Naruto began coming down at him with an axe kick.
"Hyoton: Ice wall"
A wall of ice stopped the blondes advancement as it shattered beneath the force of his kick. Smirking slightly through the ice and mask time seemingly slowed as Haku released his other jutsu.
"Hyoton: Hail"
A swarm of ice chunks crashed into naruto's airborne body throwing him to the ground, brunt force and impalation found the blonde on the ground, blood pooling around him as he died.
The sound of Thousands of birds chirping rang in Haku's ears as his head snapped towards Zabuza-sama's direction, his keen eyes picking up the outlines of his master and the copy ninja perfectly.
"Zabuza-sama!" Haku yelled creating an ice mirror to get to his master's location quickly before the man met his untimely fate.

Haku felt his body lock up as a dull pain was felt in his back, looking downwards he saw the tell tale splatters of blood the now traced the concrete floor painting dark grey to crimson red while blood from his supposed wound continued to leak out.
Turning towards his 'killer' Haku's eyes widened when the thought to be dead blonde stood behind him, kunai lodged deep into his back.
As the world around slowly became swallowed by darkness he heard the pained and dieing yell of his master that was soon to join him, as he fell to the ground and allowed the darkness to take hold his last thoughts entered his mind he muttered.
"I'm sorry zabuza-sama" and with that Haku yuki left the living world.

He felt wrong.
Naruto stared down at his latest kill and felt as though he had done something he wasn't meant to, that this shinobi should have been something more than just his opponent, but why? That doesn't make any sense the masked nin was an enemy.
How was an enemy making him feel this way anyway? He was numb, had an objective to eliminate the enemy!
So then why did it feel wrong?
Naruto pondered this question as he stared at Jake's lifeless corpse unresponsive to the world around of him.
He didn't pay attention to the mist rising nor the quick footsteps of his female teammate or the cry of pain and anguish at seeing her crush's seemingly dead body, the sounds of several footsteps, Gato's voice and the cheer of his men. So lost in his own thoughts that naruto had to do a double take when he finally realised that Gato and his men were indeed at the end of the bridge.
Naruto felt all previous thoughts leaving his mind as he refocused on his true objective. Holding his hands in a cross formation naruto spoke "Taju Kagebunshin no jutsu"
A wall of smoke was what greeted the battle field as blurs of orange sang at the army tearing through and killing them as they dropped like flies, things only went downhill for the enemy as the wave village residents all corralled and teamed up to form a counter army against gato and his men.
Naruto paid no attention to the sounds of chaos and battle the went on around him as he slit the neck of a mercenary that attempted to carve him with a hunting knife. Scanning around the area for his target Naruto's eyes locked onto the form of a retreating Gato shielded by his men to make his escape and live another day.
The world blurred around Naruto as he sped towards the area, slamming a foot into one of the thugs face he ride the descent to the ground create ring it on impact, raising his foot into the air Naruto stomped on the mans head as his skin became a sickly ashen white colour as his body went limp.
Glancing around at the frightened and enraged criminals Naruto spun both of his kunais into a reverse grip and shot off at Gato like a rocket hacking and sloshing his way through enemies with frightening ease.
As he closed in on the midget kingpin.

This was not going according to plan.
Of course it wasn't.
It was so simple wait for the two powerful shinobis that are Hatake Kakashi and Momochi Zabuza to battle till one was dead and the other exhausted or bother were exhausted.
He'd swoop in kill them to take the bounties on their heads then destroy wave country with Tazuna getting a front row seat to watch his life burn.
Then join the snake sannin Orochimaru who months prior had offered him a lucrative business deal that if successful Gato would become the richest man in the elemental nations.
But unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it things were not going as planned.
"OI MOVE IT I CAN'T DIE HERE WITH THE REST OF THESE FOOLS!" Gato yelled masking his cowardice with anger as he shoved past his army.
When he made it to the edge of the bridge the smug smile that crossed his face threatened to reach his ears.
"I don't care if Wave lives or not anymore as long as I live I get to live everything's alright with me" he said, "as long as I get to keep the deal with that snake bastard than I am alright" as gato jumped from the edge of the bridge to the boat he felt his blood run cold when his descent was halted.
"Just where do you think your going" a low emotionless voice said that sent chills down his spine. As he was hoisted back up atop the bridge he came face to face with a blonde hair teen that froze him in place when he locked eyes with the silver stared eyes.
"You claim to have information on Orochimaru of the Densetsu No Sannin correct"
"Why the hell should I tell a pip squeak like youuuu-AAAAAHHHHHH!" Gatos words devolved to painful screaming as he the blonde brat hell his now ashen white hand now completely limp and numb.
"Now I will ask again do you have information on Orochimaru" the blonde pressed, his once dull silver eyes now glowing ominously.
Gato felt himself nodding as he didn't trust his voice at the moment to not reveal the fear that threatened to control him.
"Interesting, it would seem I picked a good time to control my other's form" The blonde said nodding to himself as he stroked his chin yet his face remained blank.
He had begun looking at the kid oddly at this point, other's form? the hell was he talking about!?
"Well it would seem you have would be of some use to us" Gato felt fear once again creep up his psyche as the blonde drew near.
Be picked up by the scruff of his neck felt weird, being thrown by a child felt even weirder.
"Have your fun with him just don't kill him he has wanted information" the blonde's voice sounded some ways behind him as Gato heard knuckles cracking and soft chuckles.
Glancing upwards Gato felt himself gulp deeply as the wave residents loomed over him their blood covered forms making it all the more terrifying.
There was only one way Gato summed up his situation.
