Part 6 - Albus' Trial and Reactions
Albus was given a stronger dosage of the Verita Serum, and he was asked the normal questions of who he was, what bloodtype he had and what his occupations were.
Then Bella's lawyer asked him;
"What was your plans for my client, Mrs Isabella Shacklebolt nee Bones?"
"I had no plans more than letting Severus what he wanted out of the attack on her family."
Many were shocked of his answer, as Bella being held by Kingsley, who had real anger on his face, for he felt he had been betrayed by Albus and his so-called "good nature" and how he wanted to be seen as light leader, this told everyone now that he was darker than anyone had thought he was.
"And this prophecy that Mr Snape told us about what does it say and who is it meant for?"
"It is meant for young Harry Potter, as he is part of the prophecy being the one to defeat Tom Riddle, the dark lord for his fellow death-eaters."
"Is that his real name?"
"Yes, Thomas Marvalo Riddle Jr, named after his muggle father, and his mother was Merope Gaunt, a pureblood squib due to inbreeding in the family."
Many sat in shock of this revelations of who the so-called dark lord, and Ted said
"And this prophecy, what does it say?"
"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies..."
"Who made it?" While others were shocked of it said, and he said
"My professor Sybil Patricia Trewlawney, who made it at her interview for her job as my Divination teacher. I decided to keep her on after what happened to Harry and his parents, James and Lily. For I fear for her safety if not on my team. Same for Severus who came to me after learning first part of the prophecy and had told his dark lord about it, and he thought it was about his Lily, that he was in love with and still in love with to this day. But it was at the time either Neville Longbottom or Harry Potter, that was why both of those families were attacked in the way they were."
"Why was the Bones' family attacked for?"
"I do not know, more than that Severus wanted to punish Isabella from what he thought she looked alot alike his Lily. After it had happened, I told him he was safe from being arrested for I would make sure of her keeping quiet about it. So when her report came in, I charmed the Aurors who took her report of what Severus had done to her, and took the report and hid it in a hidden drawer inside of the Head Auror's office at the time."
Many sat in shock, while Neville and Harry shared looks of what they had heard about themselves, that it was Albus' fault that they had so different lives now. Hermione still sat in Harry's arms, and held him as he was rather emotional, and Ginny/Ronald both glared at them. Neville had Hannah besides himself and she held his hand while Susan sat in Matt's arms crying.
"And since then what have you done to help the situation with Voldemort?"
"I have done nothing, for it is not worth it, when times comes, I know Harry Potter will do his duties of getting rid of Tom Riddle once for all."
Many sat in shock, as Ted said
"And have he recieved the rightful training to do this then?"
"No, my plans before all things happened, was to let Severus continue the mind training to help Harry Potter to close down his head and not let Tom inside anymore, my fear is that he would become possessed like Ms Ginerva Weasley has been back in her first year by the diary that was a Horocrux. A piece of Tom in it, that possessed her to do what happened with the Basilisk that only Harry Potter and herself being possessed was able to understand what it said in the walls of the school. Luckily for Harry and Ginerva, they saved the school from being closed down for good by biased Aurors and corrupt former Minister of Magic Cornelius Fugde."
Still shock of what he had said, and most were worried about this and Ted said
"Is the Basilisk still alive?"
"No, Mr Harry Potter killed it when he went down with Mr Ronald Weasley to save his Ms Ginerva Weasley. So it is still down there, rotting away as we speak."
Many were relieved in their shock, as Ted said
"Did Ms Ginerva Weasley recieve any reprimanding or treatment from what happened by her hands despite she was possessed?!"
"No, her mother felt it would be too expensive care for her daugther to go through, so nothing was done. Beside I felt it was wrong to reprimand her as it was not her fault, it was all Voldemort's fault."
Many in the Great Hall were in shock, and Ginerva sat in shame and shock of being outed like that, and most stared at her with disgust and anger. One of the petrified victims had then shaken Harry's hand and asked for his forgiveness for being asshole towards him and Harry accepted it as in he did not know the full truth about anything of this mess.
"Who was petrified of the Basilisk?"
"Ms Hermione Granger, Ms Penople Clearwater, Mr Colin Creevey, Nearly Headless Nick and Mr Justin Finch-Fletchey was petrified. I had a feeling that Ms Granger was for she was too close to Ms Ginerva Weasley's love interest and obsession to have for her own."
Many sat still in shock and anger of what he had said, Hermione glared over at Ginerva who was rather red both of anger and embarrassment.
"And what about Sirius Black?"
"I thought all this time and still does think he was the one who was the Secret Keeper but it was orginially Peter Pettigrew, who lead the Dark Lord there instead of Sirius Orion Black. Everyone felt that due to who his family was, he was easy to take the fall for what happened to Mr and Mrs Potter that Halloween night."
Many was gapping in shock, and some regretted of what they had thought about Sirius Black, so Ted said
"So Sirius Black was innocent and thrown into Azkaban for you felt he was easy target to put the blame on?"
"Yes. He was of Black blood, and most of them were death-eaters, so I felt so is he."
Many sat in shock, and Sirius had joined Harry in the Great Hall and he was very pissed off man now too to hear this. While Hermione kept a hand on his arm to keep him calm enough. Her other free hand was around Harry's neck and laid onto his own arm, and Harry held onto her in his lap. Ginny and Ron both glared at this sight, but neither said anything.
"Have you any plans for Mr Harry Potter?"
"I illegally betrothed him to Ms Ginerva Weasley, as she said she wished for be married to her childhood hero and whoever he was friends with as in a female, I betrothed later Ms Hermione Granger to Ronald Weasley illegally as I was neither Mr Potter or Ms Granger's magical Guardian, but what those two wants they would get no matter what else was illegally. As far I know Mr Ronald and Ms GInerva Weasley has tried to feed the two with Love-Potions keyed to themselves, but it seems to fail so far. I don't know why it has failed."
Many sat in deep shock, Hermione was angrily glaring at the two youngest Weasley with hatred and anger, so did Harry, then both turned away from the two and ignoring them for rest of the time. Isabella sat in shock of what she had heard so far of this. Kingsley was a very pissed off man now, that he and Isabella was the real magical guardians of Hermione Granger, and the real guardian of Harry Potter was the two of them too.
Ginerva and Ronald looked red in face both of anger and embarrassment.
"Well I think we have heard enough, so what will Albus Dumbledore's conviction be?"
And after talking through, they came back, and said
"He is to be pulled through the Death Veil, for we can't see any change for better, so he deserves death by Veil."
"So mote it be." And so that happened shortly after being dragged over to the room of where the veil is, and he went screaming into it by being pushed in by the Auror Guards.
Many were pleased of his punishment, and felt good now a threat was gone. Another was that Tom Riddle. Molly sat in her home and had listen on everything from the radio, and was absolute shock, anger and sadden that her own hero was now dead man and was being told being the dark lord himself, and would not be known as hero but a dark lord who played with peoples lifes, and the stuff about her youngest two was also something she felt ashamed of being revealed.
Arthur had been at the sight, and he was very pissed off man, for he knew his wife had part of this with his two youngest ones, so he was taking few Aurors with him to his home, to confront his wife about that.
Meanwhile Isabella and Kingsley went home, and felt good to have their own justice finally done. But they did send a letter to both Harry and Hermione, letting them know that the bethrotals on them, were cancelled and would not work whatever those two others said or tried to do, as they would be brought in for questioning in the morning about giving illegal love-potions to the two, and that made them calm down but still feeling hurt about their actions.
