A/N

Hello! I'm back!

Gee! I couldn't help but notice the vast amount of questions brought on by the last chapter! I didn't expect so much of that!

.

The responses to the last chapter are… understandable. It was an 'in-between' chapter, meant to be the bridge from one arc to the next, the same with this one and the next. But, I do want to reassure you guys of a few things, specifically that Every segment had a purpose.

-Welf cleaning his equipment, unwilling to leave it for later.

-Lili's taking inventory.

-Bell's leveling to three and his Falna in general.

-Everything had a purpose, even the small, insignificant mentioning of Eina's eyes and hair in the dark room.

.

Everything will lead to something.

.

Trust me, you guys are in for a hell of a ride, because… well…

*Evil laugh*

You guys don't have and fucking clue what's headed your way.

*Evil laugh again*

.

This chapter won't be so implicative though, so don't worry!

.

Welp! I hope this chapter turned out well enough!

5,171 Words in total.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Bell moseyed on down one of the eight main streets of Orario, somewhat baffled by the events at the guild, but also a little giddy and embarrassed.

.

Bell couldn't help but think back every now and again to the moment of and after their kiss. Eina had suddenly realized what she'd done, bolting out of the room in an embarrassed and red mess.

He sat alone in that room, staring blankly to the walls ahead, trying to make sense of what had happened.

When he finally did leave the room, he was suddenly face to face with two people he'd never encountered before. One had long dark hair, while the other was short and dark red.

He was slightly confused, and a little more cloudy than he is now, so he accepted the envelope handed to him without a second thought, being too distracted at that time.

He had wanted to talk with Eina immediately, but when he got to the entrance of the staff room, any attempts to find her were blocked by Rose and Misha. Both seemed just as confused by this as him, though Eina seemed distressed, so they didn't hesitate to agree.

In the end, he could only sigh and walk away. 'Perhaps I'll see her tomorrow.'

.

Once again, Bell found himself smiling slightly, though the more he thought about it, the more his memories flickered to the past.

To phosphorus and magma.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Oh boy, what a day to work at the Hostess.

Bell was immediately 'attacked' by Anya upon entry.

"White-Hair-!" She cried out in anguish. "Help us-ugh-ugh!"

Bell, startled by this, looked over her shoulders, trying to find help, or at the very least, any form of explanation.

As he did, he saw the various different waitresses slumped over on tables and the counter, the only person still standing, was an incredibly menacing Mia, the same Mia who looked to Bell with death in her eyes.

Bell, having made eye contact with her now, subtly tried to pry Anya's fingers from his shirt.

"Bell Cranel." Mia spoke slowly, every waitress turning to the boy.

He decided that Anya was simply a burden he had no time to free himself of, electing to drag her with him as he tried to run.

Unfortunately, Bell was at the top of a short staircase, one which he could easily get down in a hurry, especially with an extra person's weight dragging him across every. Single. One of them.

By the time he had fallen to the bottom, Bell was in pain, nothing serious, just pain from the various impacts. He reoriented himself, Anya, to the side now, he looked up, and found death.

Mia was standing, arms crossed at the top of the stairs, fire raging in her shadow.

"Bell Cranel." She spoke yet again. "You've got some explaining to do."

He gulped.

.

Mia paced back and forth in her office, Bell sat bolt upright opposite of her desk in the small but not cramped room.

Mia stopped and spoke to him again. "Are you sure that's all you said to Ryuu down on the Eighteenth?" Bell flinched yet again.

He nodded, too petrified for anything more. She sighed.

Mia stood in thought. "Perhaps Syr's gotten through by now." She turned towards the door, moving around her desk.

"S-Syr?" Bell quietly questioned.

Mia slowed but didn't stop. "She's been trying to get her to open up since arriving today, though last I heard, she still hadn't made it past the door."

Mia's hand was just about to grab the door handle, when it suddenly turned, flying open and catching the head of the Hostesses matriarch with a deep 'thud'.

Syr stepped in, quickly determining what had happened. Her voice shook with giggling fear. "Ah! Sorry Mama Mia!"

"Haaaaaah" She hissed out, trying to not throw every curse word she knew at the grey haired girl. "What- what are you doing here, I thought you were with Ryuu." Her eyes still squinted with pain, though it was quickly subsiding.

"Oh!" Syr pushed the door fully open, revealing the disheveled girl who had locked herself up the entire day, and as such, was still in her nightwear. Though it was Elven, so it covered everything it needed to.

Ryuu was fidgeting, yet to notice Bell behind the currently open door, being too focused on Mia.

"M-Mama Mia..."

"Ryuu." She called back, worry and curiosity abundant in her otherwise stoic and strong willed voice.

"I-I'm sorry for the trouble I've caused!" She bowed slightly to Mia. The two waitresses still unaware of the boy currently hidden by the door.

"Well, then I hope you have a reason for all this." Mia spoke in her harsh words, though they knew how to interpret the intended kindness behind them.

"Y-Yes, um. I was in the dungeon, and Bell accompanied me to see my Familia, and… Well…" Ryuu was embarrassed, a dusting of pink on her ears, uncomfortable about being outwardly with her emotions after so many years.

So Syr did it for her. "Ryuu finally understood how much she loves all! It's because of what Bell told her!" She shouted, Ryuu going as red as she could.

Ryuu's head turned so fast her neck would hurt later. "S-SYR?!" Embarrassment palpable around her.

"But that's what you told me!" Syr oozed happiness with the wide smile of hers, giddy at the news.

"But please don't speak so openly-!" Ryuu was cut off by Mia.

She laughed with all her might, beyond relieved with the news. "Damn, you really dodged that one, huh Bell."

She grabbed the door, pushing it rather roughly closed, revealing the sunken down white mop to the two girls, both looking at him with wide eyes.

"...H-Hi." He muttered out, trying his best to not be here as much as he was.

Ryuu didn't react right away, simply staring at him, then slowly looked down at herself, and back up to him. Before suddenly shifting from her startled, black expression, to almost ripping the hinges of the door and running presumably up to her room.

They all looked to the space Ryuu once occupied, Mia making a face that basically got the idea of 'Welp, that happened.' Before turning to Bell.

"You owe me the time it takes for her to get over this." Mia then walked out, Bell's eyes going wide.

He looked to Syr, only for her to wink and run out as well.

"..."

"..."

Bell's eyes swerved side to side, as though reading a paper.

"What- just happened…?"

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

With the fall of the sun, came Pub hours, and along with Pub hours, came drunken adventurers.

Though it had been a good few days since his last shift, he still retained the necessary information, not that Mia gave him the right to forget.

"One order of Pasta, meat loaf, and the soup/salad combo!" Bell shouted through the kitchen window, sticking the small paper onto a tac.

"Kyay!" May responded, fully enthralled in her art.

Bell turned back, scoping out the joint, quickly noticing a table near the door as vacated, so he opted to go clean up.

Along the way, carrying an empty tray for the mugs and plates, Bell passed the now mostly back to normal Elf girl.

'Mostly', being that she now wore a small smile, something that was not exactly common for her, the tips definitely showing that. It was quite the sight to see the other staff members fawning over her when she finally showed herself, Syr having told everyone the news.

Bell and her shared a small nod in passing.

Arriving at the table, he set the tray down. Swiftly moving the three empty and one quarter full mugs onto it, picking the tray back up, and snatching the single plate with his free hand.

As he turned, aiming for the counter, he heard the sound of footsteps and voices coming from the front door beside him. He quickly turned back, setting his cargo down, readying to greet the new party.

As the first foot landed in the door frame, he started up the scripted speech.

"Welcome to the-" His words died mid transit, as the person before him was none other than Bete Loga. Who, as Bell cringed, began laughing hysterically.

"Haha- You-Y- Ha- Fu- Butler!- HAHAHA" Bete busted his gut in the noble attempt to speak, the rest of his party following close behind, wanting to see what the commotion was about.

Soon following was the rest of the Loki Executives, along with Loki, Lefiya and Alicia among them.

They all stared for what was in his mind, too long. Bell's eye twitched.

He, as normal, wore his Hostess suit. This consisted of a white dress shirt under a green vest the same shade as the female's. Wearing normal looking dark suit pants with brown shoes.

Bell looked fed up after a few seconds of watching Bete try and keep himself upright. He noticed Lefiya and Alicia both fawning over the outfit. Alicia thought was fixated on both this and his ears. Something that wasn't a first for him that evening, already having fought off the other girls from trying to touch him, especially Anya.

Bell sighed, before forcing a smile. "Welcome to the Hostess of Fertility, would you like to be seated?"

Riveria was one of the only sane people left in the group except for Gareth and Finn, the latter not in the mood to see Bell.

"Yes, can we get a table for the ten of us?" She smiled, doing her best to maintain a straight face.

Bell looked over the sea of tables and patrons, looking back and forth before turning back to her. "Yes, I think we can slide the tables over there together."

He motioned them to follow. Shouting out his- "Seating ten!" To the kitchen. An audible and angry moan coming over the crowd, though just barely.

Bell smiled.

They got to the tables after weaving through the busy floor. Bete wanting to ask how Bell moved so quickly in the crowded room.

Bell ended up on one side of the three tables, pushing towards the center, as Finn did the same from the other, a short and almost unnoticeable glare coming from him, then disappearing.

They all moved the chairs to their decided spots. The order was not too important, but the older executives and Loki were on one end, and the newer by comparison members filed in the other.

All together, they were just barely not rubbing elbows in the Loki party.

.

Bell did his best to carry both trays of food towards the jumbo sized party of adventurers, plus a goddess. He dared not even look at the food, being hungry himself, and with the Familia having ordered a number of his recommendable dishes.

He couldn't help but notice the distinct presence of Syr, crouching beside Ais, whispering in her ear.

Ryuu followed behind Bell, carrying the other two trays of food, all together, Bell thought it would be easier to just buy the restaurant than order this all individually. The list of food took up three whole note pages.

Bell still was spooked by May all but jumping out the window at him, after reading off the order, and even then, he still had a whole page left to go.

They set the food down onto the table, not bothering to dish it out as there was no reasonable way to recall who ordered what. As Bell stood back up from this, he saw hands darting all over the trays like vultures to a carcass.

'They must be hungry…'

Bell waited a good few seconds, before reaching over them again to collect the 'bones', otherwise known as the trays. As he did, stacking the four empty trays, he set off for the counter.

In the corner of his eye, Bell saw Syr quickly move away from Ais, a notable and malicious smile crossing her.

Bell had a bad feeling the second he turned mid stride, seeing Ais looking to Riveria across the table.

"Riveria?" She called.

"Yes Ais?" She answered, just before she would have bitten into a fork full of pasta.

"What's a 'Milf'?" Bell tripped, dropping the trays as everyone at the table, hell, the whole dining room stopped in shock.

Riveria became flustered, not knowing how to respond to this, embarrassed that she even knew what the term ment.

Bell quickly got back up, a look of incredulity upon him.

"It's when you have a hot mom." Bete answered, though shakily, trying at the minimum to preserve her innocence.

Silence reigned.

Ais turned to Bete. "So like Riveria?"

Those in the hostess who were Elves, fainted at the implications.

"I AM NOT A MOTHER!" Riveria screamed, face as red as blood.

Bell simply watched from the sidelines.

"But we call you mama?" Ais retorted in confusion.

"I always tell you all not to!" Riveria fumed.

After a few moments, and the pub gaining back its once unwavering conversations after… that.

Bell looked over to the kitchen door, which was currently in the midst of closing. Bell pursued.

.

"SYR!" He shouted now through the door, dumping the trays onto the closest unused counter.

He saw a flash of grey and green duck through the back door, he quietly moved to and through it, finding the girl hiding poorly behind a much smaller potato sack.

He stared at her with malice, she simply watched as he stared.

"I messed up…?" She said, as though she wasn't sure.

She grinned nervously, Bell following that up with an angry smile, the likes never before seen in Orario.

.

Some time later, Bell was serving the party their…. Eleventh(?) round of drinks. He couldn't help but notice how annoyed the Elves were, all having eaten, none of which drank. Riveria specify only just barely tolerated Loki's rambling shouts.

"Oh!- Come on Finn, stop being such a sour puss." Loki loudly spoke to Finn, who, oddly for him, wasn't drinking all that much.

He sighed, an angry expression ever present.

He begrudgingly looked at the boy who was the subject on hand, delivering their next round. Riveria noticed this and was about to stop him, but it was too late.

"So you had some fun down on the Eighteenth, huh Bell?" Finn spoke out, an aggressive tone coming over.

Bell looked around the pub, most of the people were gone, the Loki party being all that was left.

He turned back to Finn. "Fun would be the last word I'd use, but, I guess so. Why?"

Finn stared for a moment. "I heard they called you 'hero'. Didn't think you believed in those."

Those who weren't looking at them now were.

"Not by my choice."

Finn scoffed. "So it's alright as long as you don't want the title."

Bell stood up as straight as he could. "I don't believe anyone, even myself, has any right to that title. That right died with the last heroes of that age."

"Why?"

"Because, if we start down that road again, we'll repeat the same mistakes as before."

Everyone looked to him with overflowing curiosity, all except Loki, who seemed to be almost afraid by what he might say.

'Does he know about… before?'

Finn looked at him expectantly. "And what might those be?"

Bell scoffed. "That we will become just as corrupt."

Finn recoiled in surprised annoyance. "You think that the Heroes were corrupt? What about them makes you think that?"

Bell stared to him, contemplating his next words. "Finn, how many Heroes were there before the current age?"

Finn furrowed his brow, somewhat confused by this question. "A few dozen maybe, nobody knows. Do you know?" Finn finished sarcastically.

Bell slowly turned to Loki, the rest doing the same soon after. It was only then that they noticed the rather serious look on her face.

"Goddess Loki, how many Heroes were there before they started to deserve that title." Bell seemed to darken in his last few words.

She didn't answer, only looking at Bell with a dull glare.

He sighed, turning towards the bar. Leaving everyone else confused as to what just happened between the elf and goddess.

.

The Loki familia was on their way out, Bell and Ryuu being the ones to see them off.

As Bell and her stood back up from their bow, Riveria turned back and called to Ryuu. Ryuu, on her way back inside, stopped along with Bell.

"Bell, can I have a word with Ryuu alone please?"

He turned to Ryuu, who nodded. Bell smiled at the both of them, before heading back up the few stares and reentering the Hostess for clean up.

Riveria watched him as he entered the pub, only then turning to the waitress in front of her.

"Is something the matter Lady-"

"Just Riveria is fine." She assured the girl.

Ryuu only shook her head, no.

The high elf sighed. "Miss Ryuu, is it possible that you could come to the Twilight mansion, lets say, the day after tomorrow?"

"May I ask why?" Ryuu was confused.

"I would like to discuss some concerns between a larger group, and, I believe that this would best be kept between elves, so I'm finding a few I think can be trusted."

Ryuu looked down in thought, then raised her head back to answer. "I think I can manage, however, I just got back from four days away, so it may be difficult." She sounded a touch nervous.

"That's understandable, I do hope you can make it." Riveria smiled.

She bowed. "I will try my best, It's an honor to be trusted by someone such as your highness."

As Ryuu was turning, believing the conversation to have ended.

Riveria called out again. "Ryuu, one last thing."

The girl turned back to meet her.

"You seem happier than normal, did something happen?"

Ryuu looked to the cobbled ground, smiling all the more, nodding.

Riveria smiled at that. "Good, please be safe Ryuu."

"You as well Lady Riveria."

They parted ways, Riveria homeward bound, and Ryuu mentally preparing for the clean up, though with yet another rare smile on her face.

.

Bell ate his dinner, which was provided by Mia as part of working the shit, as such, all the waitresses and chefs are together at some of the middle tables of the pub.

They were all very clean eaters, mostly so they didn't have to clean any more than a simple wipe down of the table.

"But why?" Ryuu asked yet again, still not wrapping her head around the bulk up of her tips.

"They just like happy people, I don't know." Chloe responded, having explained it three times already and was fed up.

Ryuu looked at her for a moment, before silently sighing and returning her attention to the main event.

"So when did the Hostess start carrying shrimp?" Bell asked.

He had spoken in between bites, everyone was watching happily as the recently revealed elf boy ate the crustaceans. This being a new food to him, every bite came with a smile, and with every smile, his ears wiggled uncontrollably.

This meant that most of the food in front of the staff members was getting cold if it wasn't already, though they wouldn't mind.

It was safe to say that May was going to be ordering a good amount of 'exotic' foods to keep on hand from now on.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Beneath the Guild, lay a secret basement. In that basement, only those certain prisoners who the guild deems too important to publicly arrest were held.

Currently, this cell held none other than Hermes, god of the Hermes Familia.

He spoke through the hand sized door slot.

"Bell Cranel must not be allowed to testify against me, if he does, I may actually be banished." Hermes spoke, biting his cheek as he did.

"And for your support, you want me to 'acquire' the boy, is that right?" The perverse sounding voice coming from none other than the god Apollo.

"Do this, and I will tell you everything you'd ever want to know about Orario and it's secrets."

Apollo smiled. "It would seem our goals are aligned, I accept this deal of yours."

"Good." Hermes smiled. "Do whatever is necessary to achieve this."

Apollo turned, walking back down the dark hallway, Hyakinthos, Apollo's captain, about to follow. Before Hermes suddenly reached out of the slot, catching the Level Fours arm.

"Whatever is necessary." Finished Hermes.

Hyakinthos smiled maniacally.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Bell slowly opened the door, hiding behind the wall as he did.

He slowly peaked his head around the corner, looking inside the building.

It was the next morning, and Bell had yet another fun day of reunions ahead, first on the list-

Naaza and Miach.

.

Bell slowly approached the counter in the vacant room.

He had early on noticed that the front entrance could open both forwards and backwards if you pull a little lever on the door, and by doing so, you can avoid ringing the doorbell that signaled a new patron.

Bell now stood at the counter, a hand hovering over the small call bell, hand shaking with nervousness.

'Here goes nothing…'

'Ting!'

Before long, the small and quick rattle of feet came from above, the Blue Pharmacy being both their storefront and home. Those same feet came running down a set of stairs in the back.

"H-Hello, welcome to-" Naaza froze in the back doorway, behind the counter.

Bell shifted nervously as her eyes bore holes through him, forgoing the top most shirt button she'd been working on, not that it would reveal anything.

Another soft rattle came from above, presumably Miach. That set of footsteps also speed up when he heard-

"Bell!" As Naaza leapt the small counter to tackle him to the ground.

Bell, being on the ground trying to get out of her death grip, was ill prepared to greet Miach as he appeared through the same door, his shirt still undone.

Bell was very uncomfortable in the present situation, hearing as Miach just laughed at the situation he found his captain and Little Rookie in.

.

"Tell me everything." Naaza was a lot more stern than before, having gotten the worry and happiness combined out of her immediate system.

"Well." Bell scratched the back of his head, now sitting in what could be described as the Miach Familia's upstairs living room.

"We were initially pass paraded, then ended up running down to the Floor Eighteen safe zone."

"You made it all the way down there?!" Naaza was a bit shocked.

Bell nodded. "It was the only way for us to survive, luckily, the Loki Familia was on their way back up and were held up there with some sick who needed medicine from the surface."

Bell prattled on. "Everything went pretty well down there, some of this, some of that. But before we knew it, we were headed back up." Bell wanted to tell them everything, but he didn't want to go into detail about anything after Riveria and Horn's advisory not to those uninvolved.

"Well, that's good. I suppose nothing else happened then?" Naaza raised an eyebrow to him.

A second passed. "Oh! I leveled up!" He announced with a smile.

After a few seconds, he became confused why they hadn't said anything, both looking like they didn't believe him.

"Is he lying?" Naaza asked Miach.

"No, even a mortal could tell if Bell was lying." Miach replied.

"Yeah, I guess you're right…"

"I'm right here you know!" Bell shouted, going a bit red from the teasing.

They both giggled.

"Congratulations Bell!" Naaza spoke.

"Yes, very impressive!" Miach added.

Bell stopped, smiling for a second while in thought.

He hesitated to share this information, but he didn't think it would be that important of information.

"My magic also got stronger, though I wouldn't like to be questioned about the how…"

Miach and Naaza both looked a touch confused, but regardless, they nodded to him.

"I have a healing spell, and as of one of my recent updates, I can use it to set and heal bones." Bell held a nervous smile as their eyes widened to the size of saucers.

"W-What?" Naaza spoke uncomfortably quietly.

"I can-"

"I heard you the first time, idiot! How?!"

"Wh-"

"How can a spell do that, it's impossible!"

"I don't know, I just can!" Bell responded.

Naaza simply slumped down, depressed at the fact Bell had such a useful ability like that, and not her.

She soon sat back up with a new passion about her. "You're coming over to practice tomorrow so I can whoop your butt!" She pointed to him.

He could only nod dumbly in response.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Bell was slowly trudging through the streets of Orario, making way towards the one place everyone he'd asked simply told him to avoid, at all cost even.

That place was Folkvangr, home of the Freya Familia, and the current location of the goddess Freya.

As he got closer, he could begin seeing the massive building, not from just down the street, but half way from Babel!

.

Bell stood awkwardly at the front gate, there were no guards like the Loki Familia had. Instead, they had a small booth which was cut off from the outside, only connecting to the wall behind it, which surrounded the entire compound of buildings.

The only issue Bell had with this, was that there was currently nobody in said booth.

Bell had come most of the way across Orario, so he didn't simply want to leave at the first road block.

He leaned forward, looking as far below the glass as he could to the other side. He found a desk/counter with several different buttons, none of which were labeled.

He stepped back, taking in the entire booth once again, but this time, seeing another small button to the side of the glass.

He stepped up to this small button, nervousness setting in as he did.

He raised his finger to the button, hesitating just a small distance away, but inevitably pushed it.

A deep buzz sound rang true from the button, scaring the poor boy into flying back several feet onto the cobble road.

Before Bell could even fully stand back up, a cup fell from a high shelf inside the boot, landing on one of the buttons below.

The gate suddenly began sliding open with the sound of stone sliding on stone. Bell watched helplessly as it came fully open.

Bell's hands were now holding each other as a nervous sweat broke out. Bell made what was, for all he knew, the stupidest decision of his life, simply walking inside.

As Bell crossed the threshold, he looked all around, not having any idea of what to do or where to go.

Suddenly, the door shut, much faster than it had opened. Bell now stuck inside to face the consequences of his actions.

.

Bell slowly wandered through the most well defended and dangerous buildings in all of Orario, desperately hoping to find Freya before anyone else found him.

Bell had seen much of the Familia home in the short few hours he'd been there, if you could even call a temple like this a home.

He'd seen their dining room, storage facilities, even both flower and vegetable gardens. Heck, the vegetable garden was the size of some towns, they could probably live in this place for months just on that.

His heart was practically bursting out of his ears with nervousness.

.

He had now wandered into one of the smaller buildings, still having no idea of when his life could suddenly end from a high Level adventurer stumbling upon him.

Bell took note of his surroundings, desperately hoping the consequences of his actions don't catch up to him.

"This… Looks like a common room… If I had to guess." Bell spoke to himself.

Bell slowly crossed into the center of the large room. The floors were made of black marble, though they weren't waxed to a mirror finish like most of the floors in the compound he'd seen, the walls were white as a cloud on a clear day. Finally, and the most strange to him, was the complete lack of windows in the room.

He slowly made his way forward, hoping to find something, ANYTHING, useful behind the next door. A map would be nice, not that he was any good with them.

His hand reached to the door's handle, slowly pulling on it, but realizing to his embarrassment that it went the other way. He pushed, but it also didn't budge.

'How odd.' He thought. 'I guess I should try the other door.'

He moved over to the other door which he theorized would go to the same room.

The door didn't budge again, both ways in the same order.

Bell sighed, figuring the doors wouldn't be opening for him any time soon.

He started across the room, getting half way, when one of the doors behind him opened.

His heart dropped.

"That's weird, how did it unlock just a second after- '' The voice stopped. "Bell?" The voice sounded just as confused as he'd been for the last hour and a half.

He slowly turned.

When he fully did, he found Horn, though not in her usual attire, but only covered in her bath towel wrapped just below her shoulders, draping just low enough for her dignity to be maintained.

They stared for a small second.

"How are you here Bell?" Horn was more confused than worried about their situation.

Bell was blushing as he turned away. "I-I-I-...Please put some clothes on."

"Eh?" Horn looked down, then back up to him. "No. Why are you in the women's bath house in the first place?!"

"THIS IS THE WOMEN'S BATH HOUSE?!" Bell screamed out, modified by his own actions, though no fault of his own.

Horn sighed. "I'll be back. I need to get my things, take a seat and wait." She turned away, closing the door behind as she retreated.

Bell did as he was told, sitting with his head down in embarrassment. A flash of realization came as he looked down.

'The only place without mirror-like floors is the women's bathhouse… That tracks."

.

On the other side of the wall, a very distressed Horn was in the midst of cooling down, trying to shrug off the monsoon of embarrassment she felt from being seen in just a towel by Bell.

Over time, and with a quick bucket of ice cold water, Horn built up the courage to put her plan into action.

In the next moment, transforming into the girl commonly known as Syr.

"..."

"..."

"Horn…" Freya called through their linked minds, having stopped in a random hallway with most of the Familia following, not used to Freya visiting so often as she did now.

"...Yes, goddess…"

"Why have you transformed…?" Freya wasn't angry, not at all, but just… really confused.

Horn was nervous. "Uh, well… About that, funny thing actually."

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Fun Fact!

Bell has maintained a vow of abstinence since Ais' birth, who is a product of what Bell considers a perfect union built on true love. He seeks that for himself one day.
