"Why didn't we just go to a payphone?" Blossom asked, confused. "You really bought a whole phone just to throw away?"

Brick was dumbfounded. "First of all, when was the last time you saw a working payphone? And second of all, yes, I bought a burner phone. It was cheap, don't worry."

"I'm just calling home." She laughed. "Buying a burner phone makes you seem kind of shady, like some sort of criminal."

"You do realize that I am a criminal, right?" He deadpanned.

He thought he made that bit pretty clear, but now he was wondering if he should've been more obvious.

"Yeah yeah." She rolled her eyes dramatically, "So you've said. But idunno, I've yet to see anything for myself."

"Yeah, and you're not going to." He winked, tossing her the flip phone.

Blossom caught it, the number was already typed in. All she had to do was press call.

"If it's because of the whole "hero" thing.." She scoffed. "I've retired."

Brick couldn't help but smirk. What he wouldn't have given to hear her speak those words years ago..

"Maybe I'll try out the whole villain thing this time around." She cocked an eyebrow suggestively, a grin forming on her pink lips.

Damn, why was the thought of villain Blossom kind of sexy? He was trying not to think of her in that way, but how was he supposed to manage with her saying things like that? He knew she was joking, but the whole 'good girl gone bad' thing was definitely a turn on.

"Psh. Yeah right. You're a good girl through and through." He crossed his arms over the chest of his red hoodie.

"Maybe I'm not as pure as you think?" She smirked back. Before he had a chance to wonder what she meant by that, or give a snarky remark, she hit the call button and lifted the phone to her ear.

Brick had already been over what to say. She was secretly hoping that nobody would pick up and that she would get the voicemail.. anything would be better than talking to an actual person. Just because she didn't remember them didn't mean she wanted to hear the hurt in their voices, hopeful that she would be home soon.

Luck wasn't on her side.

"Hello?" A girl answered the phone, she sounded young, maybe a little tired. "Powerpuff residence, Bubbles speaking, how can I help?" Tired or not, she still sounded really kind and Blossom was sure she was probably a sweet girl. The boys had described her as "A sugar rush" and "A toothache waiting to happen." Oh yeah, Boomer also said she had cute pigtails and mean punch, which she had found hilarious.

"Hi Bubbles, it's Blossom."

She had barely gotten the first word out before Bubbles apparently recognized her voice and she had to finish her sentence through the girl's squeals and shrieks.

"Blossomohmygod! I'msohappytohearyourvoice!" She cried. "Areyouokay? Pleasetellmeyou'reokay?!"

"Please calm down." She was getting a headache trying to understand her sister's fast, rumbled words. "I'm okay, I'm safe. I don't have my memory back and I'm not coming back just yet. But I'm safe. And no, I'm not being forced to make this call."

She could hear the girl freaking out, and rambling on in the background but she said all she needed to say and hung up. As soon as she did, Brick snapped the phone in half and disposed of it. He didn't want Blossom's disappearance being linked back to the Rowdyruffs, so he wasn't about to have her make the call from his phone. She didn't have her cell when they found her, so this was the next best option.

"Hearing her voice didn't ring any bells?" He asked, only half hopeful. He felt bad about her identity basically having been stolen from her.. but he had to admit that he didn't exactly want her memory to come back. At least part of him didn't..

"No, she didn't sound familiar. Buuut, it was kinda hard to understand her with how fast she was talking."

"Pretty sure she's always like that." He chuckled. He hadn't had all that many interactions with the blonde one over the years, since he was more evenly matched with Blossom, but from what he could remember she was very hyper.

"So, is that the only "change" you wanted to make, or?" She asked, a little nervous, but mostly just curiously.

"Not exactly." He tossed her another phone.

She caught it before she even realized what it was. "What's this?" She asked, flipping it around in her hand. It was a sleak, shiny new phone. Not some old flip phone this time. It was thin and black and definitely modern.

"It's a phone, smarty pants." He teased. "I just thought, maybe you'd want one. You know.. since yours wasn't with you that night."

"You bought me a phone?" Her face lit up and a smile broke out across it. She wasted no time powering it on.

He almost felt guilty. "I got you a phone, yeah."

"Bad boy Brick, strikes again." She bit her lip. Was she supposed to care that he had stolen it? Because honestly she didn't mind. Especially when Butch had already explained how they only stole from shitty mega billion dollar corporations who already use every excuse under the sun to exploit their employees and pocket more money. They didn't need the revenue from this one phone.

Maybe that didn't sound very heroic or good, but that's how she really felt.

"Anyways I don't know what you would do on there but-" he shrugged, not finishing his sentence.

"Thank you Brick." She beamed. "I've been dying to get on Pinterest!

"Pinterest?" He raised an eyebrow, not having a damn clue what she was talking about.

She giggled. He was such a boy. "Yeah, to look up recipes." She explained.

"Does that mean you plan on cooking more?" Now he was beaming too. She nodded. "You know you don't have to though, right?"

"I know." She rolled her eyes again. "But I don't like the idea of you three eating junk everyday." She told him. "And to be honest, I don't want to eat that shit everyday either."

Hearing Blossom curse was weird in the beginning, since he had always known her to scold anyone who did it around her, including him and his brother when they were younger. But now they were all starting to get used to it. Since it had been a few years since he'd seen the Powerpuff girls, he was really curious to know how much of her personality had changed from the amnesia. For all he knew she could have changed over the years that they spent apart, maybe she wasn't as much of a goody goody as she was when they were younger. Or possibly, she was still as high stung as ever up until a few days ago.

In any cases the version of Blossom that he knew now was his favorite.

"Hey if you wanna cook, be my guest. All of us appreciate eating real food." He watched as she played with her new phone, and was really happy that she liked it.

"What does this phone have to do with the "changes" though?" She furrowed her brows.

"Oh, well actually.. there's a few things. I wanted you to be able to contact us anytime, just in case. And also, I want you to try and work on getting your memory back."

Now she was really confused. "I don't get it." She admitted.

"I bought someone from Townsville's instajam. Your old account is set to private, typical." He rolled his eyes. "But she follows you already, so you can log in using her account and check out your profile. Pictures of your family, friends, hobbies, maybe something will click."

"You're so sweet for going through all this trouble." She felt heat rush to her face, but ignored it, leaning in a little closer to him.

Damn it. Now he was blushing too. So naturally, he looked away. "Uh, it was nothing."

It wasn't "nothing" to her.

"So.. anyway." He cleared his throat. "There's one more change."

She raised her eyebrow, giving him all her attention.

"We're going to help you work on getting control of your powers again."

Now she was really smiling. They hadn't talked about her powers much, she had been too overwhelmed at first to ask about them and the boys realized that. They had refrained from using theirs around her too, to be nice. But she was ready now, to at least try to get her lost memory back and take control of her life. She had to admit that she was pretty excited to begin training. Hell, she didn't even know what powers she had besides laser eyes. Did they all have the same abilities?

When she threw her arms around his neck, he smelled the sweet scent of peppermint that he had smelled on her that first night. He assumed it was some sort of lotion or perfume then, but she didn't have anything like that here.. which meant it was her natural smell. Absentmindedly, his arms snaked around her lower back, drawing her in closer.

Don't ask.. it just happened.

When Brick held her tighter.. Butterflies.

They fluttered around in her stomach, it was a feeling that she was experiencing for the first time, possibly the second first time.. since she couldn't remember her past. It was nerve wrecking and wonderful all at once, and she found herself wondering how Brick felt about her..

Truth be told, she wasn't entirely sure how she felt about him.. But he was handsome, in a hot bad boy type of way. He was sweet and thoughtful, obviously. He had gone out of his way to help her so many times, in such a short period. He may be a criminal, but no matter what anyone said, he wasn't bad.

So.. maybe she was crushing on him.. a little? Could anyone blame her? Was it a bad idea, since she was staying with him? Maybe.. but did she care? Not in the slightest.

There was a startling knock on the door and they both jumped up, separating in the process.

"Hey, just wondering if you checked out her instajam yet?" Butch asked from the other side of Brick's closed bedroom door.

"Yeah, we wanna see old Blossom's profile." Boomer added excitedly.

Brick was more curious than he'd like to admit as well, but he wasn't about to let her know that.

Blossom and Brick went out to the living room with the others and she downloaded the app and logged into the account that Brick purchased. All the boys crowded around her as her thumb hovered over her own profile.

Her phone was flooded with photos, not many of them were just of her. No selfies. She had photos of her and her sisters, her and some man, probably The Professor that had created her. There were photos of awards and some photography.

"You still wear that bow all the time?" Boomer asked. Nearly every photo she was in, she had a big red bow in her hair.

"Oh, that bow is in my purse." She told them. It had been in her hair the first night that she lost her memory but it was pulling her hair so she'd taken it out. Up until now she had no clue it was part of her identity.

Butch messed up her hair, "No offense but I think you look better without it. Maybe that's just because it was your symbol of justice." He laughed and high-fived Boomer.

Blossom clicked on a bunch of photos, read through her comments and got a good look at her sisters.

"Nothing?" Brick finally asked.

She shook her head. "Nothing. It's really strange to look at photos of yourself and remember absolutely nothing."

"I feel you there." Butch nudged her arm, "I've had some crazy blackout nights. When you see those pictures the next day. Man let me tell you. Good times."

Boomer, Brick and Blossom all rolled their eyes.

Blossom closed the app, with only one thing on her mind.

Her life looked so… boring. Maybe she didn't even want to remember it.

End Day 5I promise that some of the chapters will be much more interesting, but you know, not every day in real life is interesting and I want it to be somewhat believable. Some spice, coming soon (;
