"You've seriously never played truth or dare?" Butch furrowed his eyebrows slightly at her confession.
Brick scoffed and Blossom laughed. "You do know that I lost my memory, right?"
"Oh yeah."
"She's only been living with us for two weeks, for that very reason." Boomer rolled his eyes playfully.
Blossom and Brick exchanged a glance, as the other boys bickered amongst themselves. "So, I obviously can't technically remember if I've played. But you guys knew me before. Does it seem like something I would've done?"
The three of them bursted out laughing at the mere thought.
Brick wiped a tear from the corner of his eye, once he composed himself. "The old you would've written out a huge list of rules before even thinking about playing."
"Probably woulda typed it up and laminated it too." Boomer nudged Brick in the arm and they started cracking up again.
Blossom opened her mouth to speak but was immediately cut off.
"Bet you would've picked 'truth' every single time." Butch added.
She rolled her eyes, "Are you guys done?"
"Probably never woulda-" Boomer tried to squeeze one more out, but the twitch of Blossom's eyebrow shut him up first.
"Okay, so we all agree? No rules?" Butch asked, as if it was the only real option.
Boomer nodded in agreement but Brick wasn't having it. "I have a rule. No destroying the house."
The other two boys scoffed, "Obviously." Butch agreed.
"Wait, what even happens if we don't complete our task?" Boomer looked to his green brother for answers. He was the expert after all.
"Kick to the balls."
Blossom cleared her throat loudly, indicating that the punishment wasn't very inclusive. "I mean, I don't plan on losing, but..."
"How about… a haircut then?" Butch wiggled his eyebrows.
Everyone's jaws fell slightly open at that. They were all pretty into their hair, so the idea of losing, which was already bad enough, was now suddenly not an option.
"Okay." Blossom agreed first.
Brick sent her a curious look. "Really, cause I thought you liked your hair…"
"Like I said, I don't plan on losing." She winked at her counterpart. He knew it was just a playful wink, but everything she did was ten degrees hotter to him.
"Well it ain't gonna be me." Boomer said. "I'll do anything."
Brick scoffed. "Yeah, we probably all will. Well…" He sent a pointed but apologetic look to Blossom.
"Brick!"
"Sorry Bloss, but he's right. You already lost." Butch confirmed.
"Okay, I'll start. We'll go clockwise. We switch seats every round. First person to get an incomplete fails. Ready?"
"You can't pick dare more than twice in a row… Blossom." Boomer added.
God, she couldn't wait to show them up. Did they think they were still playing with the old, boring Blossom? They were gonna be in for a surprise.. "Fine." She rolled her eyes at the obvious jab. "Can't pick dare more than twice in a row either." That oughta show them. She was met with instant complaints, which she simply smiled at.
Truth be told, she was definitely nervous about playing for the first time. Nevermind the fact that she was playing with the Rowdyruff boys.. criminals, who probably weren't afraid to do much… It was gonna be a hell of a night. Still, she was excited, because truly.. unless the dare was murder… she wasn't losing.
"Let's start then." Butch rubbed his hands together with a sinister smile. "Truth or dare Boom?"
"Dare, obviously." Boomer rolled his eyes, clearly these boys weren't about to pick truths until they were forced to. Figures.
"Dare you to send a dick pic to every girl you're talking to on tinder."
Blossom's eyes went wide, if that was the opener, it was gonna be a high stakes game. Brick and Butch were in near hysterics already.
"Well fuck." He pulled out his cell and opened the app. "I'm sending my best one at least."
"Dude, you got dick pics on retainer??" Butch slapped his leg. "This is gold."
"Only the good ones." He smirked.
She didn't even wanna think about how often he must be sending nude photos out… "How do we know if he actually did it?" Blossom asked skeptically. Not that she didn't think he would, but you know, if he knew he could get away with faking it… he most likely would.
Boomer attempted to hand her his phone. "You wanna check?" He laughed.
"God no!" She practically jumped into Brick's lap trying to move away from him, which Brick would have welcomed fully.
"We'll make him read their replies tomorrow or something."
Boomer wiggled an eyebrow, "Truth of dare Powerpuff?"
She hated when they called her that. That was the old her. She didn't even remember being a Powerpuff girl, so the name was just… foreign to her. "Dare."
The three of them looked at her like they were shocked. Boomer smiled. "Dare you to go to the store and steal me a bag of chips."
Brick smirked as he watched a small smile grow on her face, like she had been waiting for the opportunity to do something bad her whole life. Who knows.. maybe she had. "Done." She emptied her pockets, at the request of Butch and flew out the door before anyone even had a chance to tag along.
When Blossom landed in front of a store, not any store that they usually shopped at, she walked in grinning. The man at the counter payed her little mind, he had a line full of other customers to deal with. She headed straight for the chip aisle. She grabbed the tiniest 25 cent bag of chips she could find and shoved it into the pocket of her hoodie, while no one was looking. Easy. Then she headed over to the next Isle, and added two packs of Skittles. After only about one minute in the store, she walked out leisurely.
When the boys didn't see a bag of chips in her hand, they assumed she chickened out last minute. "Game over already?" Boomer asked.
Scoffing, she tossed him the miniature bag of chips. Everyone broke out into laughter. "Does this even count?"
"It counts." Brick smiled, proud of Blossom. "How does it feel to be a full on criminal?"
"Feels.. about the same." She answered, but the grin on her face said otherwise. She tossed him a pack of Skittles. "Okay Brick, truth or dare?" She had been thinking of his dare since the moment the game was mentioned.
"Dare."
"I dare you to break into the Powerpuff girls' house."
All the boy's eyes widened at her idea. They had all expected her to give the most basic dares..
"You do realize that's your own house, right?" Boomer laughed.
"I'm so glad I didn't get picked for this one." Butch shook his head, incredulously.
Brick's smirk grew as he stood up and headed for the door.
"Bring back proof." She requested, smugly.
Standing in front of the Utonium house, Brick wondered if he was an idiot.. was he really about to break into the home where his two super powered enemies lay sleeping? Not to mention the inventor of his biggest fear… Antidote X. Could he really turn the dare down though? Not only would he have to leave his beloved hair in the hands of his demented brothers and be humiliated for failing.. He would be losing to Blossom... A Powerpuff Girl! On her very first time playing. He wouldn't let that happen. He was practically born to break into their house, if you thought about it. He just absolutely could not let himself be caught.
Taking a deep breath, he floated over to the closest window, locked. Damn it. He tried the next one and the next one and was just about to give up when he had an idea. This was the home of super heros, locking the front door might've just.. slipped their mind. Who in their right mind would break in?? Just like he guessed, the front door opened easily as soon as he twisted the knob.
Luckily for him, he had super speed and the ability to float. It was pitch black when he entered through the living room. He quickly looked around the place, trying to find something that would prove he'd been there. His eyes flickered to the mantel and he spotted a photograph of the Utonium family, Blossom's smiling face stared back at him from the frame. Only that Blossom wasn't his. That Blossom hated him..
Back at his own house after a short few minute trip, he handed the photo to Blossom, looking pleased with himself. His brother fired off questions, wondering how he had done it, to which he shrugged, while Blossom examined the evidence.
A full two rounds later and nobody had faltered..
There were the occasional truths, and a few less intense dares. Brick had been dared to swap underwear with Blossom.. and Butch had been dared to streak, which he did happily. Blossom had spray painted the side of the city hall.. in disguise of course. But everyone was getting tired and were ready to be done. That's when Butch had the 'briliant' idea to raise the steaks, the challenges would have to get worse so someone would refuse. It was the only way to end the game.
"I dare you to… rob.. a.. bank." Butch folded his arms over his chest, rasing his eyebrow.
He didn't think she would do it. Didn't even think she would consider it, honestly. Nobody did. Even she didn't know if she could.
How does one even..? If there were no employees, no tellers, how.. she would have to break into the safe. That shouldn't be too hard with super strength. And with her speed, she could probably be in and out.. What would she put the money in? Did they have a giant sack with a dollar sign on it, lying around the house? Maybe she could really pull it off. But If she did… she glanced at the photo of her and her family on the table, would she ever be the same person again?
Swallowing, she stood up and headed for the front door. She didn't want to rob the bank, more importantly the citizens who had entrusted the establishment with their life savings… but she also didn't want to be the same girl she was before. Maybe if she did something drastic like this, then if her memory ever did return, she would be different somehow.. less… Blossom. Forever affected by what she had done. Which would be a good thing.. right? "Here goes nothing."
Brick was in front of the door, leaning against it before she could leave. "Blossom, you don't have to do this."
"Yes I do." She laughed nonchalantly. "That's my dare."
He wasn't amused. "I'm serious, if you do this… you might never forgive yourself. You need to think about that. It's not the same as stealing two dollars worth of shit from a liquor store. It's a real crime. A felony."
There was a pang in her heart, while she looked into his pleading red eyes. "Brick, I-"
"Please?" His hand went up to caress the side of her face, and they were alone in the living room. "I don't want you to do this."
Feeling his warmth against her skin, his soft voice calling out to her, to save her from herself.. she melted into his touch. "Okay." She nodded her agreement, almost breathlessly. She could hardly even remember what they had been talking about. What had she been about to do besides kiss him?
Her hands gently slid up his chest and over the sides of his neck, causing his heart rate to skyrocket, like hers already was. Her close proximity beckoning him, he leaned in to feel the softness of her lips, to taste her sweetness. They grew more frantic the moment their lips touched. What started off as delicate and tender turned hungry, lips parting against each other's mouths, the soft escape of moans, arms pulling each other closer.
Blossom's slender fingers moved up his neck and into his hair, gripping onto him as he pushed his tongue into her mouth. She pressed herself against him, body reacting on it's own to get even closer to him. With a forceful flip, Blossom's back was slammed against the door, causing her to gasp at the sudden change. The reds of his eyes were clouded over with lust. His lips were on hers again, kissing her deeper and deeper into bliss. He bit her lower lip, tugging at it with his teeth, while his hand moved to her waist, yanking her closer.
"Ahem." Butch cleared his throat from the couch.
Blossom and Brick tore away from each other, matching blushes creeping to their cheeks, realizing that they had an audience.
"We were trying to let you have your moment, since you finally decided to stop sneaking around, but it looks like you're about to rip each other's clothes off." Butch snickered.
"Have you guys.. been here the whole time?" Blossom asked sheepishly, pushing herself away from the door.
"Yep." They replied in unison.
"Soo.. who's taking the L?" Boomer finally asked, curiously. Brick had tried to stop her so they would've gladly counted that as a fail.
Brick ran his hand through his hair. "I will."
She really hadn't planned on losing, and if it was up to her… she wouldn't have. But this wasn't about her. Brick didn't want her to do it. He told her flat out. He asked nicely and kissed her in front of his brothers… She couldn't say no after that. She cared about him much more than some stupid game.
"No!" Blossom protested. "I like your hair. Besides, I think I'm ready for a change."
End Day 15Sorry for the delay on this one. I picked a bad time to attempt this, with the holidays lolcomments are appreciated!
