Pinpointing her enemies had become much easier. With superhuman eyesight, hundreds of times more adept than the average person's, she had quickly realized how to tune into even the slightest of movements. Once spotted, she was able to move so quickly, reaction time like a natural reflex, as her fingers moved into immediate position on the controller. Her character on the screen obviously couldn't move as quickly as she could, and that was her biggest problem, but the sensitivity was already all the way up so there was nothing more she could do in that regard. Still, she had come far in the short couple of weeks that she'd been playing, easily able to pass both Boomer and Butch's skills. Something that they found both extremely impressive, as well as highly annoying. They had been playing video games for their whole lives after all, so the idea that Blossom was better than them in less than a month was a little irksome to say the least. They were used to being shown up by Brick, but now Blossom too? Honestly, they should've guessed as much. The reds, being counterparts, almost always meant that their skills were evenly matched. Apparently that applied to first person shooter games as well as real life battles.

Topping the leaderboard every single match was fun in the beginning but even though she still enjoyed playing, she found herself wondering more and more how the boys spent so much of their lives playing games that they knew they would always win. Personally, it felt a little lackluster for her after a while. She almost felt like she was cheating, but she was only using her own natural ability, there was nothing she could do about that. Plus it's not like she was competing for money or something, it was only a game so she couldn't really feel all that bad for winning. The idea that the people (probably mostly kids), on the other end of the game, had no idea they were up against a literal super being… was something she found truly hilarious. All of them did. She never used the headset herself, but sometimes when they played, Boomer and Butch would tell people the truth about their capabilities. Nobody ever believed them. Though it was no secret to the world that there were 'enhanced' people scattered around, they were so rare that the chance that one was in your game lobby was pretty laughable.

"Alright well, as much as I would love to sit here and be shown up by Blossom for the ten thousandth time.." Boomer chuckled. "I have a date to get ready for."

"Again?" Brick furrowed his eyebrows at his blonde brother. He'd never been able to understand how him and Butch could stand to go out with so many different woman. Maybe that sounded weird.. Wasn't it most guys' dream to be able to effortlessly get girls and have an almost guaranteed chance of at least 'third base'? But the idea of going out with a new girl every few days had never held any appeal for him. Maybe it was just because it was so rare that any girl, or person for that matter, was able to hold his interest. Until Blossom.

"Yeah, again." He laughed. Unlike his strange brother, Boomer actually enjoyed socializing.

"Speaking of dates.." Butch set his controller on the hardwood of the coffee table. "Weren't you supposed to read us replies from your dick pic dare?"

"Oh, god." Blossom had completely forgotten about that whole thing. Boomer was like a brother to her, she really didn't like to think about him sending lewd photos, or the fact that he had them stored in his phone… just waiting for the opportunity to need one.. A shiver ran down her spine at the thought.

"You really want me to?" Boomer raised an eyebrow.

"I was just curious about how you supposedly sent photos to your tinder matches when you can't even send photos through the app." Butch raised an eyebrow of his own in turn, a much more accusatory one.

That caught everyone's attention. Brick folded his arms over his chest, staring at his brother from the opposite couch and Blossom's mouth fell slightly agape at the bomb that had just been dropped on them. She had cut 12 inches of hair off as a result of losing that game, and even though she was happy with the outcome, she would still be furious if she found out Boomer had cheated on the very first dare.

"Dude, please." Boomer scoffed, his cavalier response was enough to put them all at ease. "As soon as I match with a girl, we almost always move our conversation over to Whatsnap."

"Oh, yeah." Butch scratched his head. He of all people should've known, since he did the very same thing. "My bad."

"Either way," Brick prompted, amusedly. "Let's hear some replies.*

"Don't hold out on us either. Read the funny ones." Butch added.

"There aren't any funny ones. My dick is primo. Nothing to joke about."

The three of them busted up laughing, like children.

She wasn't sure that she wanted to be there for this, but before she could get to her feet to slip out of the room to safety, he was already reading. Shameless.

Wow, okay then. You haven't talked to me in almost a week and then a dick pic out of the blue? Cool. Thanks."

Blossom cringed. It certainly was not a good look but it's not like she expected him to actually back out of that dare..

He continued. "You really shouldn't be sending unsolicited nudes."

"Blocked." "Got that one twice..."

"Annnd, the rest are inappropriate." He purposefully looked at Blossom, to explain why he wasn't going to get into them."

Blossom's face slightly twisted into a disapproving look, as she fought with herself, locked in an inner conflict. She was torn between needing to tell them how she really felt about the kinda sorta sexual harassment (if that was the right phrase), and not wanting to risk upsetting Boomer again by telling him something he didn't wanna hear.

Brick glanced over at Blossom and could tell immediately what she was struggling with. "Alright Boom, I know it was a high stakes game and you only did what you were dared to, but no more unsolicited pics, kay?" He sent a warning look. "Ask first. That goes for you too Butch."

"Come on, you really think I would choose to force pictures upon unsuspecting babes like that? Tch."

Butch nodded in a agreement and Brick rolled his eyes.

Blossom smiled to herself, her anxiety had quickly melted away, replaced by a deep admiration for the man sitting beside her. Brick was so not a bad guy.

Shortly after Boomer left, Butch ended up leaving too, going on a easy job to collect rent money.

Blossom was still insanely curious about what exactly their 'jobs' entailed, but none of them had elaborated and she wasn't about to pry after all they had done for her.

Being alone with Brick still felt surreal at times. It had only been about a week since their first kiss, and even though they had spent every day since 'canoodling', she could still hardly believe it was real. Everything between them was so fresh, so intense. Everyday she felt herself growing more attached to him, falling a little deeper down a never ending hole. One she was happy to fall down. It was mind boggling that they had once despised each other, when all they could think about now was embracing one another.

The two of them had remained in place, on the sofa for the last few minutes since Butch had left. The sexual tension between them was palpable, but neither of them made a move, neither of them had so much as uttered a word. The tv wasn't on and the silence was deafening. It wasn't awkward at all though, not even close, it was actually hilarious. It was a game at this point, who would crack first and do… Well, literally anything. Move, speak, laugh..

Brick watched from the corner of his eye as a smile spread across Blossom's lips, while she stared straight ahead, not facing him.

He couldn't take it. Well he could.. but he didn't want to. His brothers wouldn't be gone all night and if he 'wasted' anymore of their alone time, he knew he would kick himself for it later. Besides, she looked so unbearably cute, sitting there trying to contain her laughter, it put a smile on his face too.

Brick was pulling her onto his lap seconds later, while Blossom bit her lower lip, trying not to giggle. Her stomach was a rollercoaster and not for the first time, she wondered if she'd ever felt this way about anyone, or had these experiences before. She didn't have time to wonder for long, not with the way he was looking at her, with arms snaked around her waist.

His eyes were a beautiful shade of scarlet, vibrant but mysterious. She could have drowned in their depths, had they not trailed from her eyes down to her mouth, focusing on it only briefly before he licked his lips and met her gaze again.

Watching him lick his lips like that, but make no move to lean in or pull her closer, it was obvious that he was trying to entice her. And he was doing a damn good job. He had already made the first move and now it was her turn to reciprocate. It's not like she could have resisted anyway, his pull was magnetic, drawing her in like moth to flame.

Blossom's hungry lips crashed into his, ready for his familiar taste. Her favorite taste. His arms tightened around her as their kiss grew more fervent. Intertwining tongues soon became nipping at each other's bottom lips, but before he could leave a bruise on her swelling lips he pulled away, kissing down her neck.

He had never done that before. His mouth trailing over her neck heated her to her very core, both from the warmth of his breath and the intimacy. She leaned into him, as he reached the crook of her neck, giving him silent permission, while her fingertips crept beneath the hem of his shirt, to feel his bare skin and taut abs.

Straddling his lap while he sucked hickies into her flesh, gripping firmly onto her hip and growing harder beneath her, Blossom couldn't help the faint moans that escaped past her reddened lips. It wasn't her fault that her mouth was so close to Brick's ear, forcing him to focus on her pleasured sounds.

He pulled back slightly, hot breath still ghosting her skin, voice low and breathy. "Blossom.."

"Hmm?"

"You're killing me here."

Her eyes were closed, a sly little smile stretching across her lips. "Am I?" She ground herself further into his lap, with one swift motion, teasing him.

He groaned at the feeling. "You're making it really hard to-"

"I know," Her eyes fluttered open to meet his, before whispering. "I can feel it."

He swallowed thickly, just about to open his mouth to speak, when he heard the front door open.

In walked Butch, not very surprised to see them together on the couch.

"Wonderful timing, as usual." Brick kept his eyes on Blossom as he spoke to his brother.

"What can I say.." Butch chuckled. "Gotta be here to make sure you two are behaving."

Blossom smiled knowingly, as Brick's fingernails dug lightly into her hipbone in his frustration.
