A/N: Hello everyone! I'm not completely happy with this chapter, there's something about it that I'm not sure about. So, for the first time ever, I may end up rewriting this if other people agree with me, so please let me know. Also, apologies for any spelling mistakes and grammatical errors.
Kari was bounding down the corridor and towards the console room, actually she was more stumbling than bounding. Something was wrong, and she knew it was. Her head was pounding badly, her vision kept blurring, and it was all making her feel rather dizzy. She actually regretted going to her room to get changed now and wished that she had stayed with the Doctor.
It really was turning into a massive struggle for her, Kari was leaning against the wall and trying her best to pull herself along. Her head was hurting her so much, and there were tears streaming down her face as she desperately tried to make it to the console room, to get to the Doctor. "Doctor…" Her voice came out in a whisper, even talking was proving to be too much of an effort for her.
She ended up falling to a heap on the floor, her legs having given up. Something was wrong, and she needed the Doctor. "What the… Kari? Kari are you okay?" Jack's voice suddenly called to her, as he rushed over to her. "Come on, Kari, talk to me."
"Doc…Doctor…" That was all she could manage to say, before her eyes fluttered closed.
"Okay this is bad. This is really bad." Jack muttered to himself, before scooping Kari into his arms. He held onto her tightly as he charged down the corridor, heading towards the console room where the Doctor was waiting for Kari. Jack had only just left the kitchen, after having taken some time to cool down from the show that the pair of them had put on for him. "Hey, you're okay, Princess, everything is going to be okay." He told her, trying to reassure her, even though he had no idea what the hell was going on.
He was almost at the console room when the Doctor came barreling around the corner, nearly bumping into him. "What happened? Where was she?" He said in a panic, whipping out his sonic screwdriver and scanning Kari with it.
"I… I don't know. She was slumped in the corridor, I don't know what happened." Jack told him, knowing that something was very wrong with his Princess. "What's wrong with her, Doc?"
But the Doctor didn't answer him, he just looked down at his screwdriver, an impassive look on his face. Now it all made sense, now he knew what was going on, it was all falling into place. "Kari? Kari, I'm here, it's okay." He said to her, putting his screwdriver back in his pocket and taking her from Jack. "I'm here, Kari."
Kari let out a groan in his arms. "My head." She whispered to him, feeling like all her energy had been sapped from her. "It hurts, really hurts."
"I know, and I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do. But you have to listen to me, Kari, because this is very important. It's time." She managed to open her eyes and look at him in confusion, she had no idea what he meant. "I didn't realise it before, and I should have, I should have spotted it, and I'm sorry. You're going back, Kari, back to where it all starts, and this is where everything changes." He could see that she was scared, but he was as well. There were so many things that could go wrong, that could change, and that scared him She wasn't prepared for what was about to happen to her.
She tried to speak, but she couldn't, she was just in too much pain. Lucky for her, Jack was ready to ask questions for her. "What do you mean? Where what all starts? What is going on, Doctor?" Of course he was worried as well, his Princess was in pain, and he couldn't do anything to help her.
"It's started, I'm sorry, Kari, I am really sorry." The Doctor told her, as her hands began to glow that familiar golden glow when she was about to be pulled somewhere else. Her head started hurting her even more, the pain was just getting too unbearable for her now. "Just remember, no matter what happens, I love you, okay? You'll see me again soon, and when you do, we'll go and have another date night, yeah? How about that?"
All Kari could do was sob as the Doctor held onto her tightly. She had no idea what was going on, she was scared out of her mind, and she was in so much pain. She couldn't think properly, she couldn't understand what was going on.
"Doctor, what the hell is going on?" Jack needed to know, he couldn't just stand there and watch Kari suffering like that.
He knew that he really did have some explaining to do, and although it was hard to do it, he was going to try his best. "It's the time vortex, it's been getting stronger since she got her. It's going to pull her back, far back, farther back than she has ever been before." The Doctor told him, hoping that it made sense. "I should have realised it soon, but I didn't even think about it. It can't be stopped, she has to go."
Jack looked at him with wide eyes. "The time vortex is doing this to her? She is in agony, Doctor!" He ended up shouting, clearly not happy with what was going on.
"I know, and I wish I could stop it, but I can't. There is nothing I can do." He said, noticing that the glow had grown even stronger now. It was almost time for her to go. "Kari, everything is going to be fine, okay? I promise you, everything will be all right." She didn't have a chance to reply, as the next thing she knew her head felt like it was on fire.
She wanted to cry, to scream out, but she couldn't. Kari couldn't do anything as she was pulled through the time vortex, off to somewhere else. All she wanted was for the pain to go away, she had suffered from that headache for too long, she wanted it to go away.
This was the worst she had ever had from the time vortex, and she knew that the Doctor had been speaking to her, but she hadn't really been able to hear him very well. It was all muffled, like someone had shoved cotton wool into her ears. She wanted it to stop, in fact Kari was begging for it to stop.
"Are you okay?" A meek voice called to Kari, as her ears seemed to unblock and the pounding in her head faded a little. She had no idea where she was, and she was actually too scared to open her eyes.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Never gets any better, or any less painful." She said, pulling her head up and daring to open her eyes to look at the person crouched on the floor in front of her. "Didn't scare you, did I?" Kari asked, realising that it was a child. He had short, dirty blonde hair, and bright blue eyes and was just gazing at her.
He shook his head at her, and gave her a smile. "No, but you just appeared out of no where, and you were glowing gold and everything. Where are you from?" Kari could see the wonder and excitement in the little boys eyes and she couldn't stop herself from smiling at him. She was doing her best to ignore the lingering headache, she was just glad that it wasn't so bad anymore.
"Anywhere and everywhere." Kari answered, picking herself up off the ground a little. "Now, I have absolutely no idea where I am. Usually I'm pretty good and knowing where I am, but right now, I'm lost." Although her head wasn't so bad, she was finding it difficult to get her eyes to focus properly.
The little boy looked at her strangely. "How can you not know where you are?"
Kari chuckled at him little, finding the expression on his face rather cute. "Come on, you saw how I just appeared out of nowhere. I was in the TARDIS, and now I'm here, wherever here is."
"What's a TARDIS?" He asked her, having no idea what she was talking about.
It was only then that she realised that not everyone knew what a TARDIS was, they there was another name she could use. "Uh, my time travel capsule."
She watched as his eyes widened. "You have a TT capsule? Where is it? Can I see it? Can you take me with you?" He asked her all in one breath and with absolute awe. He looked like an excited puppy, or a kid on Christmas morning when they spot all the presents under the tree.
"Whoa! Calm down, I don't even know your name, do I? And exactly how old are you?" Kari asked him, realising that she was going to end up talking to the boy a lot and deciding to sit down and get comfortable on the grass. It was only then that she noticed it, the colour of the grass and the grand building behind the boy. "Oh dear." She whispered to herself. "This isn't going to end well." She was in trouble there, she knew she was, it was a bad place to be, she shouldn't be there, she had to get out of there.
"I'm twelve. Are you feeling okay? You've gone pale." The young boy asked her, looking at her with concern on his young face. There was something familiar about him, and she was trying to figure out how she could have known him. It was clear that he didn't know her, but she couldn't help but feel that she knew who he was.
Kari done her best to put a smile on her face and to not worry or scare the boy. "I'm fine. So, you're twelve, been at the Academy for a few years then?" The boy nodded at her eagerly, his eyes still shining brightly. "And have you come up with a brilliant nickname yet? I bet you have."
He beamed at her. "Theta Sigma." Kari had to do her best to keep her composure, even though her hearts were pounding madly in her chest. There were so many things running through her head, so many thoughts of what could happen and what could go wrong.
"Well, Theta Sigma. My name is Kari. And it is a pleasure to meet you." She said, holding out her hand to him. He grinned as he took it and smiled at her. "Now, should you really be out here? I wouldn't want you to get in trouble." She needed to get away from there, she knew she did, it was wrong for her to be there, it was wrong for her to be meeting him.
"I'm waiting for my friends. He's meant to meet me here." Theta told her, still smiling and beaming away. "Where is your capsule? Can you show it to us? When my friend gets here, can you take us to see it?"
Kari actually had no idea what to do or what to say to him. "Well, I don't actually have my TARDIS around at the moment. She's taking my friends on amazing journeys through the whole of time and space, different planets to see, civilisations to visit, there is so much out there." All she really wanted to do was get out of there, but Kari had no idea how that was going to happen.
She was stuck, on a planet that she should never have ended up on, with a young boy who she knew better than he knew himself, with no TARDIS. There was no way out, nothing that she could think of. She didn't have her bag with her, so she had no vortex manipulator, no sonic screwdriver, no psychic paper. Kari was pretty much stranded, on Gallifrey.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Theta asked her, bring her back to her senses.
"I'm always okay." Kari told him, still trying to think of a way to get out of that mess. "I'm simply wondering who this friend of yours is and when they are going to show up." Change the subject, that was the best thing she could think of to do. The only problem was, she was a little worried about who this friend of his was going to be.
Theta looked around, back towards a large building a short distance from where they were. "He should be here soon. Can you tell us all about the places you've been? You must have been to so many different planets." Kari couldn't help but smile at how curious and excitable he was. He never changed, not really.
She put a serious thinking look on her face. "I'm not sure, that all depends. Are you really meant to be out here? Shouldn't you be studying? If you want to be the best Time Lord that the universe has ever seen, then you need to study." Kari really had no idea how things worked in the Academy. She did not have a clue about what happened apart from the children looking into the Untempered Schism.
"I do want to be the best, and I will be the best." The young lad told her, holding his head up high. "As soon as I can, I'm going to leave this planet, and travel the stars. I'm going to visit new worlds and meet new people, and make loads of new friends." He was so excited and there was so much enthusiasm in his voice. "And we will be learning if you tell us all about it." Oh, he was good, using Kari as a study tool.
"That's not going to work with me, I'm afraid. If you want to be the best, then you have to work hard, no short cuts. I can maybe tell you a few things about different places, but I expect you to go and research all about them on your own after." Kari told him, not really knowing what else to say. She was in a situation that she never imagined that she would be in, she just didn't know what to do.
A pout formed on his face as he looked up at her, a pout that she had seen so many times before. But then his eyes suddenly lit up. "I know! You tell me about somewhere you've been, and then I can go find out all about it, and then I can come and tell you all about everything I've found out."
Things just seemed to be going from bad to worse for her now. "Okay, you really need to calm down." She ended up saying, holding her hands up, trying to get him to stop getting so excited over everything. "You don't even know me. I could be anyone."
"But I do know you, your Kari, you told me." It was easy to see that he wasn't going to give up that easily. "If you have a TT capsule, then that means you've graduated from the Academy, you're a Time Lady."
"It's… not as simple as that. My life, it's not the normal life of a Time Lord. I'm different to everyone else, I travel through the whole of time and space, I meet people in the wrong order, and I never know where I'm going to end up." Kari told him honestly. She couldn't lie to him, he was just a child, but it was more than that, he was going to grow up to be someone rather special to her. "Can you keep a secret?"
He nodded his head at her eagerly. "Of course I can." The boy's eyes were alight with excitement once more, and it just make Kari think of her Doctor even more.
She leaned closer towards him. "This is my first time on Gallifrey. I wasn't born here, I wasn't made here, I don't come from here." Kari whispered to him, wondering how he was going to react to it. "I never went to the Academy, I haven't studied here, so I never graduated."
Now Theta was looking at her with wide eyes, and actually backed away from her a little, as if he were now scared of her. "But that's not possible. You can't have a capsule if you haven't graduated."
"Theta, listen to me, please, just listen." Kari said softly, trying to calm him down. "My life is a complete mess. Half the time, I don't even know who I am. I don't belong here, I never have and I never will, I am so different from everyone else. You know, I used to think that was a bad thing, but it's not, because I know more now, I've seen the most amazing places and done the most wonderful things." She had to be honest with him, lying to him was not an option. "But the truth of it is, I am more different than anyone else you will ever meet in your life."
The boy continued to just gaze at her, processing everything that she had just said to him. Obviously he didn't know what to say to her, or what to really think. He wanted to trust her, he thought she seemed like a nice person, but he wasn't so sure after what he had just found out. "I… I have to go." Theta suddenly said.
Kari's face fell. She had scared him, she knew she had. She had just gone and made a complete mess out of , again. "Okay. Well, it was nice to meet you. And I… I hope you do well in school and graduate and do everything you want with your life." She said to him, taking a step back from him herself. He was uncomfortable now, she could see it written all over his face.
All he did was nod at her a little, before turning away from her and rushing off, and then he began sprinting towards the building he had come from. It left Kari worrying, worrying over what she had just done, and how it was going to affect the future. She had just met the Doctor as a child, and she hadn't left a very good impression either.
She ended up wandering a little, until she found a tree and decided to plonk herself down underneath it. Her head was spinning and her mind was racing. She was trapped, and she couldn't help but wonder how long she was going to be trapped for. Kari was doing her best not to panic, but it was hard when you had no idea of what was going on or what to do.
"First time meeting the Doctor, and I scare him away." She grumbled, leaning against the tree, her eyes soaking in her surroundings. "Brilliant, Kari, just absolutely brilliant. You scared him, and now you are not only stuck here, but you are alone as well." She wanted the Doctor, she wanted him to come and get her, she wanted to be back in the TARDIS, she wanted to be safe.
Kari ended up resting her head in her hands, her eyes closed tightly as a few tears slipped out. She was actually afraid, afraid of what might happen and what she could change. Afraid of being trapped there for hundreds of years while the Doctor grew up, waiting for the time when he would find that TARDIS and take her.
"Why are you crying?" A voice called to her, as she felt someone sit down beside her.
She quickly brushed away the tears and looked up to find another young boy beside her, with darker hair and different eyes. "I wasn't crying, I have allergies." Kari told him, hoping that it was a good enough excuse.
The boy studied her, as if trying to decide whether to believe her or not. "Why are you out here all alone?" He seemed to be rather curious as well, but Kari was starting to wonder exactly who he was.
"I'm not alone, I'm never alone. I have the trees to keep me company, and the sky for me to talk to." She had to admit, that did sound a little crazy, but she was too used to talking to nothing, she was often talking to the walls or the ceiling when she was in the TARDIS. "What about you, what are you doing out here on your own?"
"I was meant to be meeting a friend, but I can't find him." Now it was all falling into place for Kari, he must have been the friend that Theta was waiting for. "I think he's gone back. I'm late, I was meant to meet him a while ago. He probably got bored of waiting." There was a hint of sadness in his voice now, as if he was used to being left out or forgotten because it happened to him so much.
Kari smiled at him. "I think I saw your friend. Blonde hair and blue eyes?" She asked him, getting a sad nod in response. "I saw him, and he didn't get bored of waiting for you, he went looking for you." Yes, she was lying, but she didn't want to tell him the truth, that she had scared him off, because that would probably scare him off as well. "He was getting worried, so he went off to look for you, he went that way." She pointed towards the building slightly, hoping that he would believe her and go to where she saw his friend go.
A bright smile appeared on the boys face as he pushed himself off the ground beside Kari. "Really? He was looking for me?" Kari simply nodded at him. "I should probably go after him then, and let him know that I'm all right."
"I think that would probably be a good idea, he did seem to be in a bit of a hurry." The sooner she was left on her own the better. Kari needed space, she needed to think and work out what the hell she was going to do.
"Thanks. Bye." The boy called to her, before running of, heading towards the same building that Theta had charged off to.
All Kari could do was watch him go, glad that he hadn't asked her name, and glad that she hadn't found out his. The whole thing was just too much for her, after everything that had happened she wanted a break, she wanted to just sit down with the Doctor and do absolutely nothing. Things with the Doctor she had just left had finally been sorted out, they had talked and everything was fine, and then she was dragged away from him. She wanted to go back.
Once again, she rested her head in her hands and closed her eyes. This time, there were no tears, she was desperately trying to find the Doctor, wishing so hard that he would come and find her, and take her back. She called for him in her head, but heard no reply. It was making her head hurt even more, the pounding in her ears and the throbbing behind her eyes.
What Kari failed to notice was the light golden glow that had started to engulf her. It wasn't like the glow that she was usually surrounded by, it was softer, not as bright. There was too much going on in her head for her to notice anything else around her, so she didn't notice when the glow began to fade.
"No point in just sitting here and being miserable." Kari ended up muttering to herself, before lifting her head up. "Since I'm stuck here, I might as well make the most of it and go do a little exploring." She pushed herself up off the ground, knowing that sitting there wasn't going to help, or get her anywhere.
She really wanted to go and explore, she was on the Doctor's home planet, and he wasn't there to stop her. This was Kari's chance to go and find out what it was really like there, then she would be able to relate to the Doctor. When he described what it was like, she would be able to see it clearly, she would understand it all better.
Kari got herself to her feet, not noticing that it was suddenly slightly warmer, and that the twin suns were much higher in the sky than they were when she sat down. When she looked up she saw a mighty mountain, so high up in the sky that she could barely even see the top.
"Wow…" She breathed, completely astonished by the burnt orange sky. "Just… wow…" Kari really didn't know what else to say. All those times she had heard the Doctor describe Gallifrey, the images she had seen, it was nothing compared to what she was actually witnessing. "He was right, he really was right."
"Who was right?" A voice called behind her, making her jump. She spun around to look at the person who had startled her. "It's… it's you…" Kari was a little bemused, looking at a teenaged lad with blonde hair staring at her with wide eyes. "You're real."
"Uh, yeah, I am real." Kari told him, not really sure what else to say. But what she did know was that there was something familiar about him. "At least, I was the last time I checked."
His blue eyes bore into her, and it made Kari feel a little uncomfortable. "I thought I had imagined you." He told her. "And then my friend, he told me that he had seen you as well, that you had been crying."
That was when Kari realised exactly who he was. "Theta?" She asked him quietly, hoping that she was right and that it wasn't just some random person who she was talking to. Then again, she had talked to enough strangers in her life, saved a lot of them now as well.
The lad actually blushed at her a little. "Uh, yeah."
There were a few moments of silence before Kari finally decided to break it. "So, how are things going at the Academy? I hope you've been studying hard." What she actually wanted to know was how old he was now, because she had only seen him a short while ago, and he was just a kid.
His cheeked seemed to turn even redder. "I'm scraping through." He admitted to her, causing her to frown at him. He had told her that he wanted to be the best Time Lord ever, that he was going to be one of the greatest, but she knew he wasn't going to achieve that by just scraping through. "But that's okay, I don't really mind."
"Really? I thought you wanted to be the best? Are you really going to be the best by barely passing your exams?" Kari was actually a little disappointed in him, but also curious as to why he wasn't trying to hard with his studies.
Theta shrugged his shoulders at her. "I just need to pass, that's all. As long as I pass, one day I can go out there and travel the stars." He really sounded like he didn't care that much any more, he was so different from the child Kari had met what must have been only hours before.
The question that was burning in her head final made it's way to Kari's lips. "Theta, how old are you now?"
"Seventeen. I know, I'm still a kid, but I don't care." He told her, sounding rather grumpy.
Five years older. He was five years older now than he was hours ago, and that didn't make any sense to Kari at all. "Seventeen? You're seventeen now?" Theta nodded at her, not understanding why she was so confused. "Okay, this is really weird. Not that everything in my life isn't weird already, but this is starting to climb pretty high on my weirdness scale."
"What are you talking about?"
Kari just looked at him, wondering how he would react this time. The last time she had spoken to him, he had been scared and ran off, she didn't want him to do the same thing again. "Do you remember what I told you when you were twelve? I told you that I was different from everyone else." He nodded at her, but in a bored kind of way. "Well, the thing that makes me different is…" She didn't get to finish what she saw saying, as someone ran towards them.
"Theta, you missed it! It was the best prank yet!" It was another teenaged lad, with light brown hair, another lad that Kari recognised, and who recognised her. "Hey! It's you again!"
"Yup, it's me. Always has been me, always will be me." Kari told him, putting a bright smile on her face. Deep down she knew that she was in trouble, something was going on that she didn't understand, and she really didn't like it. There was no Doctor there to explain it to her, to help her, to save her. "Anyway, I should probably be going. Places to see and explore." She had to get away, she had to find her way back to her Doctor.
But the other lad quickly stopped her. "Wait, what's your name?" He asked her, gently resting his hand on her arm to stop her and get her attention. As he did, Kari felt a burning sensation on her arm, a heat that was unnatural and wrong.
She quickly pulled her arm away from him. "Kari." She told him simply, rubbing at the spot where he had touched her.
"Well, I'm Koschei, and this is Theta." The youngster told her, pointing to himself and then his friend.
"Nice to meet you, but I really have to be going now. I suggest you two stop playing pranks on your teachers and the other students and get on and do some studying. You will not be a great Time Lord without putting in a lot of hard work." She was starting to sound like a teacher, or a parent, trying to convince a child that they would get nowhere in life if they didn't work hard for it.
The two boys looked at each other, before they looked back at Kari, who was already walking away. "Wait, we can show you around a bit, if you want?" Theta called to her, both of them jogging to catch up to her. "You said you were going to explore, well we know all the best places around here."
Kari didn't know what to do. She needed to figure out why she was there and then find a way to leave. She was lost without the contents of her bag, without her vortex manipulator, sonic screwdriver, and her psychic paper. It was the vortex manipulator she missed the most, because that was the one thing she knew could get her out of there. "I thought you were scared of me? The last time I saw you, you ran away from me when I told you that I never went to the Academy." She reminded him, wondering why he hadn't run away from her this time, he had been more surprised to see her than anything, as if he thought it was nothing but a dream.
Once again he shrugged his shoulders in a way that only teenagers do. "I was just a kid, I didn't understand it all back then."
"What, and you understand it all now?" Kari really didn't believe him, she didn't know what was going on or what was going to happen.
His answer was just one simple word. "Yes."
Kari ended up looking at both of the boys with narrow eyes. "Really? So, if I were to tell you something impossible, you wouldn't run away from me? You wouldn't be scared?" They both shook their heads at her, and she wondered what had possessed her to even think about telling them what she was about to. "I last saw you both only hours ago, but you were just kids back then. I sat down, and I thought about stuff, and then you appeared, five years older."
There was a hint of fear in the Theta's eyes, but Koschei seemed more intrigued than anything else. "What, really? How can you do that? Theta said you had a TT capsule, did you use that?" The brown haired teenager asked her.
She shook her head at him. "Nope, I don't have it at the moment. Like I told Theta last time, she's out there somewhere, travelling the stars, showing my friends the most amazing places."
"Then how did you do it? How did you travel in time without a time travel capsule?" Koschei wondered, getting a little excited.
"You have to both promise that you will never speak of this. You must never tell anyone of me, of who I am and what I am about to tell you. Do you understand?" Kari knew that both of the boys would know her in the future, and they would know what she could do and what happened to her. She saw this as the first step to becoming their friend, of building the trust. She waited for them both to agree, which really didn't take that long at all. "The Time Vortex, I'm linked to it. It flows through me like blood through my veins. I get pulled around the whole of time and space all of the time. That's how I ended up here in the first place, and that's why I can't leave."
They were stunned. Both looking at her with wide eyes, both with their mouths hanging open. "How is that possible? That isn't possible. That should kill you."
"I don't know how it's possible. Someone very dear to me has been trying to work it out for centuries, and we still have no idea how or why it happened." Kari told them both, making sure that she didn't give too much away. "It's been happening for so long now, I don't even know how old I am anymore."
It was difficult for her to know what was going on inside their heads, and while she knew Koschei was excited, she had a terrible feeling that Theta was terrified of her even more now. "Does it hurt? The Time Vortex, does it hurt you?" Theta ended up asking her, taking her quite by surprise.
She wasn't going to lie to him. "Yes, it does. It hurts every time, sometimes it is worse than others, but the pain is something I have to deal with." The pain she had when arriving there was the worst that it had ever been, and she hoped that it was never going to be that bad again. "But I know, that when the pain fades, I will be somewhere new, somewhere amazing."
"Tell us about them." Theta was actually a lot calmer than Kari thought he would be, and she was pleased with that. She had never intended to scare him before, so she was glad to see that he was more interested now. "Tell us about the amazing places that you've been."
The three of them ended up sitting down on the lush red grass, and Kari began to tell them about some of the planets she had visited, giving them as much detail as she could. Of course, the first place that she mentioned was Earth, her old home, before she met the Doctor, before the TARDIS became her home. And they both listened, and asked the occasional question, and all three of them seemed to lose track of time as the sky darkened above them. None of them seemed to care, the boys were enthralled with Kari's stories, and Kari was just happy to have had the chance to meet them both and spend time with them.
A/N: Well, there you go. An explanation for Kari's terrible headaches, and the start of a lot more problems for her. As I said previously, I'm not entirely happy with the chapter and I am considering rewriting in, but that all depends on you, the readers. If you think it's not good enough, or doesn't make sense or anything like that, then let me know. If you think it was okay and actually enjoyed it and are looking forward to see where it goes next, let me know that as well.
Welcome to all of you who have favourited/followed the story recently, I hope you continue to enjoy it. A massive thank you to everyone who has taken the time to leave a review on this story. It is greatly appreciated, so please, keep them coming.
I'm going to go and sit in a dark corner now, and pull in all those little monsters that have started to make me doubt my writing. Until next time...
Pippa.
