She could have done it,
She wanted to.
It would be worth it,
A moment's pain
In exchange for a world without it.
It would be quick, she told herself.
No turning back.
Her long hair fluttered in the wind as she rose.
More tears rolled down her cheeks as she closed her eyes.
She turned to face the other side of the tower and did not see it as a roof,
But a stretch of land to run across.
So like the tear she ran.
She neared the edge and hesitated,
But nothing stopped her from plunging through the cold air
