Hey there everyone! Well, I was reading some of the reviews for Falling and they made me really happy! I was thinking about writing another poem, but had never really done anything about it. Then I found out that Falling had been nominated for best poem on an Outsider's website so I decided to get into gear.

Okay, so this poem is from Pony's point of view. It's sorta just him reflecting on the whole thing. It takes place about a year after Dally and Johnny's deaths.

Disclaimer: I don't own the Outsiders. Come to think of it, I don't really own anything of great importance. Rummages through pockets OH! I own this nickel! Oh yeah. You wish you were as cool as me and my nickel!

Never Forgotten

After all of this time
I had so much regret
The pain was so deep
I couldn't forget

There were so many things
Things left unsaid
Now all of these memories
Are running through my head

Their life was too short
It seems so wrong
These two noble people
Had to die young

Yes, they were noble
Though some couldn't see
To them they were greasers
A menace to society

We were all so different
But one thing was true
We were all brothers
through and through

Things have changed
The whole gang's not together
It's hard to go on
When you're gone forever

Why did you leave
Why couldn't you stay
Why couldn't be here with me
Mourning today

Has it really been a year
Since I've last seen your face
Just tell me, are you happy
Wherever you've been placed

Dal, watch over Johnny
Make sure he's okay
Johnny, make sure Dal doesn't do anything stupid
Don't let him stray

Now the tombstones are graying
As I stand up to leave
But before I go
I must say one thing

Though technically you've left
I can still feel
I've still got the memories
of when you were here

Though I'm too tough to admit it
I love you two still
I haven't forgotten
And I never will

I really hope you guys liked this one. I'm not sure whether it's fair to say which poem I like better because they're...well, different. I'm not exactly sure how, but they are. Again I say, reviews are lovely.
