A/N: Anyone who wants to do a story where the characters read 'The Legacy of Athena and Hermes' series is allowed to do so as long as they tell me before hand.
I don't own Percy Jackson series or Naruto series, or any of the characters of either series. Nor am I the writer of the Son of the Huntress series
Warning: Read these stories if you haven't before reading this story:
'The Legacy of Athena and Hermes: The Lightning Thief'
'The Legacy of Athena and Hermes: The Sea of Monsters'
'The Legacy of Athena and Hermes: The Titan's Curse'
'The Legacy of Athena and Hermes: The Battle of the Labyrinth'
'The Legacy of Athena and Hermes: The Last Olympian'
'The Legacy of Athena and Hermes: The Staff of Hermes'
'The Legacy of the Heroes of Olympus: The Lost Hero'
'The Legacy of the Heroes of Olympus: The Quest for Buford'
I'm going to make this clear to those who don't approve the idea of legacies in Camp Half-Blood.
One: If you actually looked into Greek Mythology you know there been plenty of Greek Legacies. Heck Frank's ancestors were Greek legacies before they joined the Romans.
Two: Time and time again in the Percy Jackson series they mention many famous names Rick Riordan used as demigods Greek Demigods reaching adulthood-George Washington, Amelia Earhart, F.D.R., General Sherman and many more-many of which had children of their own which would make their kids legacies.
Three: About Naruto not being wise enough to be a Legacy of Athena, keep in mind in future reference for any sequel fanfictions of Percy Jackson that when Percy and Annabeth have kids, if they have any of Percy's personality they might not have much interest in school and thus not show much of any of Athena's wisdom. So I should have a pass on the matter with Naruto because of that fact.
Four: Since I made Naruto a legacy of Athena through Minato, he can't have any connections with the Romans as for any god/goddess, Olympian or Minor to have a legacy they must have children who later grow up to have children of their own. Minerva doesn't have kids, and it been clear before the return of Athena's Parthenos the idea of the matter was saw as a disgrace to the Romans as it meant Minerva broke her vow in their eyes. Not to mention the fact that the feud between Greek and Romans was kept alive for so long because of Athena.
Also for anyone who thinks it be okay having a child/Legacy of Artemis or Hestia to meet the romans, although Diana or Vesta wasn't treated any worse from their Greek counterparts as the comparison of Athena and Minerva, keep in mind they also made a vow to not have any kids, and since Romans take their vows so seriously they have their own god whose domain is over vows I think they would frown upon the idea of Diana and Vesta breaking their vows. Although I did enjoy The Son of the Huntress series, even though Naruto saved Reyna and Hylla the fact any more Romans would accept the idea there being a child and grandchild of two virgin goddesses feels a bit far fetch.
Heads up, Sheffinator has posted the reading of fanfiction for The Legacy series called 'Reading of the Legacy of Athena and Hermes'. I have gave them permission and the first chapter is posted.
Also there is now video recordings of me reading the Legacy series under my real name Ashleigh Stratmann. It's under 'Reading of the Legacy of Athena and Hermes: The Lightning Thief' as right now it's just the first story being read so far.
Camp Jupiter's Roman Senate Meeting
The Senate House interior looked like a high school lecture hall. The semicircle of tiered seats faced a dais with a podium and two chairs. The chairs were empty, but one had two small velvet packages on the seat. Percy remembered that last night Yugito was the first to breach the wall and that Mars made it clear Frank deserves a mural crown just like Yugito.
Percy, Hazel, Frank, and Yugito sat on the left side of the semicircle. The ten senators and Nico di Angelo occupied the rest of the front row. The upper rows were filled with several dozen ghost and a few older veterans from the city, all in formal togas. Octavian stood in front with a knife and a Beanie Baby lion, just in case anyone needed to consult the god of cutesy collectibles. Reyna walked to the podium and raised her hand for attention.
"Right, this is an emergency meeting," she said. "We won't stand for formalities."
"I love formalities!" a ghost complained.
Reyna shot him a cross look.
"First of all," she said, "we're not here to vote on the quest itself. The quest has been issued by Mars Ultor, patrón of Rome. We will obey his wishes. Nor are we here to debate the choice of Frank Zhang's companions."
"All four from the Fifth Cohort?" called Hank from the Third. "That's not fair."
"And not smart," said the boy next to him. "We know the Fifth will mess up. They should take someone good."
"I was good enough for you to try and stand for just yesterday!" Yugito shouted.
Dakota also got up so fast, he spilled Kool Aid from his flask. "You say it, Yugito! Thanks to her we whipped your podex, Larry!"
"Enough, Dakota," Reyna said. "Let's leave Larry's podex out of this. As quest leader, Frank has the right to chose his companions. He has chosen Percy Jackson and Hazel Leveque, and since it involves escorting Yugito, she has to take part too."
A ghost from the second row yelled, "Absurdus! Frank Zhang isn't even a full member of the legion! He's on probatio. A quest must be led by someone of centurion rank or higher. This is completely-"
"Cato," Reyna snapped. "We must obey the wishes of Mars Ultor. That means certain... adjustments."
Reyna clapped her hands, and Octavian came forward. He set down his knife and beanie baby and took the velvet packages from the chairs.
"Frank Zhang and Yugito Nii." he said, "come forward."
Frank glanced nervously at Percy. Then he got to his feet along with Yugito and approach the augur.
"It is my... pleasure," Octavian said, forcing out the last word, "to bestow upon you the Mural Crown. Yugito for being the first over the walls in siege of warfare, and Frank by order of Mars Ultor." Octavian handed them a bronze badge shaped like a laurel wreath. "Also, by order of Praetor Reyna, to promote you, Frank Zhang, to the rank of centurion."
Yugito took that as her cue to sit back down and she was about to speak up until Reyna said, "Hold on Yugito Nii. We're not done with you yet."
Yugito looked confused as she stood as Octavian handed Frank another badge, a bronze crescent, and the senate exploded in protest.
"He's still a probie!" one yelled.
"Impossible!" said another.
"Water cannon up my nose!" yelled a third.
"I had nightmares of flaming mice still chasing me last night!" a fourth yelled.
That last one was a new one to Percy as he snickered.
"Silence!" Octavian's voice sounded a lot more commanding than it had the previous night on the battlefield. "Our praetor recognizes that no one below the rank of centurion may lead a quest. For good or ill, Frank must lead this quest-so our praetor has decreed that Frank Zhang must be made centurion."
Suddenly Percy understood what an effective speaker Octavian was. He sounded reasonable and supportive, but his expression was pained. He carefully crafted his words to put all the responsibility on Reyna. This was her idea, he seemed to say.
If it went wrong, Reyna was to blame. If only Octavian had been the one in charge, things would have been done more sensibly. But alas, he had no choice but support Reyna, because Octavian was a loyal Roman soldier.
Octavian managed to convey all that without saying it, simultaneously claiming the senate and sympathizing with them. For the first time, Percy realized this scrawny, funny-looking scarecrow of a kid might be a dangerous enemy.
Reyna must have recognized this too. A look of irritation flashed across her face. "There is an opening for centurion," she said. "One of our officers, also a senator, has decided to step down. After ten years in the legion, she will retiré to the city and attend college. Gwen of the Fifth Cohort, we thank you for your service."
Everyone turned to Gwen, who managed a brave smile. She looked tired from the previous night's ordeal, but also relieved. Percy couldn't blame her. Compared to getting skewered with pillum, college sounded pretty good.
"As praetor," Reyna continued, "I have the right to replace officers, as well as grant full status of legionnaire status. Which brings me to why I told you to stay standing Yugito. Last night you were first to react when Gwen was revived and removed the pillum with her without hesitation. It's not exactly saving a senior officer from life or death situation, but I do recognize it as an act of valor of honor in providing medical assistance to to senior officer-something children and legacy of Apollo are known for from time to time. Because of that I decreed you earn your full ranks in the Legion," Reyna said.
There were many complaints including another shout about nightmares of flaming mice, but Yugito shot it down herself with a glare.
"As for Frank Zhang's promotion, I'd admit it's unusual for a camper on probatio to rise directly to rank directly to the rank of centurion, but I think we can agree... last night was unusual." Reyna finished. "Frank Zhang and Yugito Nii, your ID, please."
Frank and Yugito removed the lead tablets from around their necks and handed it to Octavian. Percy felt a pang of jealousy that Yugito was only here as long as him and she already granted full membership, but at the same time he had to admit, Reyna had a good point. Plus he got the feeling this wasn't the first time he been outdone by a friend of his.
"Officers first. Your arm," Octavian said.
Frank held up his forearm. Octavian raised his hands to the heavens. "We accept Frank Zhang, Son of Mars, to the Twelfth Legion Fulminata for his first year of service. Do you pledge your life to the senate and the people of Rome?"
Frank muttered something like "Ud-dud." Then he cleared his throat and managed. "I do."
The senators shouted, "Senatus Populusque Romanus!"
Fire blazed on Frank's arm. For a moment his eyes filled with terror, and Percy was afraid his friend might pass out. Then the smoke and flame died, and new marks were seared onto Frank's skin: SPQR, an image of crossed spears and a single stripe, representing the first year of service.
"You may sit down," Octavian glanced at the audience as if to say: This wasn't my idea, folks. "Yugito Nii, your arm!"
Yugito held up her forearm with more confidence than Frank. Octavian once again raised his hands to the heavens. "We accept Yugito Nii, Daughter of Apollo, to the Twelfth Legion Fulminata for her first year of service. Do you pledge your life to the senate and the people of Rome?"
"I do," Yugito said.
The senators shouted, "Senatus Populusque Romanus!"
Fire blazed on Yugito's arm and when the smoke cleared and flames died, new marks were also seared into Yugito's skin: SPQR, the same harp image as Octavian, a flaming paw print, and a single stripe.
"That's... new. I guess the gods recognize you as Jinchuriki of your feline friend as well," Octavian noted. "You may sit down."
"Now," Reyna said, "we must discus the quest."
The senators shifted and muttered as Frank and Yugito returned to their seats.
"Did it hurt?" Percy whispered..
Frank looked at his forearm, which-along with Yugito's was still steaming. "Yeah. A lot." He seemed mystified by the badges in his hand-the centurion's mark and the Mural Crown-like he wasn't sure what to do with them. Yugito had already pinned her Mural Crown on her shirt.
"Here," Hazel's eyes shone with pride. "Let me." She pinned the medals to Frank's shirt.
Percy smiled. He'd only known Frank for a day, but he felt proud of him as well as Yugito. "You two deserve it. Especially you, Frank," he said. "What you did last night? Natural leadership."
Frank scowled. "But centurion-"
"Centurion Zhang," called Octavian. "Did you hear my question?"
Frank blinked. "Um... sorry. What?"
Octavian turned to the senate and smirked, like What did I tell you?
"I was asking," Octavian said like he was talking to a three-year-old, "if you have a plan for the quest. Do you even know where are you going?"
"Um..."
Hazel put her hand on Frank's shoulder and stood. "Weren't you listening last night, Octavian? Mars was pretty clear. "We're going to the land beyond the gods-Alaska."
The senators squirmed in their togas. Some of the ghost shimmered and disappeared. Even Reyna's metal dogs rolled over on their backs and whimpered.
Finally Senator Larry stood. "I know what Mars said, but that's crazy. Alaska is cursed! They called it the land beyond the gods for a reason. It's so far north, the Roman gods have no power there. The place is swarming with monsters. No demigod has come back from there alive since-"
"Since you lost your eagle," Percy said.
Larry was startled, he fell back on his podex.
"Look," Percy continued, "I know I'm new here. I know you guys don't like to mention that massacre in the nineteen eighties-"
"He mention it!" one of the ghost whimpered.
"-But don't you get it? That's why Yugito was meant to join the Fifth Cohort," Percy continued. "The Fifth Cohort led that expedition. We failed, and we have to be responsible for making things right, and it's Yugito's destiny to find and bring back the eagle. That's why Mars is sending us to escort her. This giant, the son of Gaea-he's the one who defeated your forces thirty years ago. I'm sure of it. Now he's sitting up there in Alaska with a chained death god, and all your old equipment. He's mustering his armies and sending them south to attack this camp."
"Really?" Octavian said. "You seem to know a lot about our enemy's plans, Percy Jackson."
Most insults Percy could-shrug off-being called weak or stupid or whatever. But it dawned on him that Octavian was calling him a spy-a traitor. That was such a foreign concept to Percy, so not who he was, he almost couldn't process a slur. Fortunately Yugito spoke up for him.
"Odd you're calling Percy a traitor or spy when it was your reading of the auguries that said Percy was to join the legion," Yugito said. "If he was a traitor or spy, surely you could have seen it in his auguries, being legacy of Apollo with the gift of prophecy."
Octavian turned pink with anger as Yugito caught him in a bad place. If Octavian argued against Yugito, his gift would be questioned, or at least question his loyalty. Either way would tarnish his chance for praetor.
Percy send Yugito a grateful look.
"We're going to confront this son of Gaea," Percy continued. "We'll get back your eagle and unchained this good..." He glanced at Hazel. "Thanatos, right?"
She nodded. "Letus, in Roman. But his old Greek name is Thanatos. WHen it comes to Death... we're happy to let him stay Greek."
Octavian regained his composure. "Well, whatever you call him... how do you expect to do all this and get back by the Feast of Fortuna? That's the evening of the twenty-fourth. It's the twentieth now. Do you even know who this son of Gaea is?"
"Yes." Hazel spoke with such certainty that even surprised Percy. "I don't know exactly where to look, but I have a pretty good idea. The giant's name is Alcyoneus."
Reyna gripped her podium. "How do you know this, Hazel? Because you're a child of Pluto?"
Nico di Angelo had been so quiet, Percy had forgotten he was there. Now he stood in his black toga.
"Praetor, if I may," he said. "Hazel and I... we learned a little about the giants from our father. Each giant was bred specifically to oppose one of the twelve Olympian gods.-to usurp that god's domain. The king of the giants was Porphyrion, the anti-Jupiter. But the eldest giant was Alcyoneus. He was born to oppose Pluto. That's why we know of him particular."
Reyna frowned. "Indeed? You sound quite familiar with him,"
"They probably dug more into Alcyoneus to see how he compared to their dad and how he was defeated," Yugito said. "After all, who wouldn't be curious to find out one of their divine parent/ancestor rivals and how they were defeated." Yugito looked onto Nico. "I take it Apollo had one?"
Nico nodded. "Yes. His name was Orion-born to oppose Apollo and Diana. But he betrayed Gaea and became one of the two males that were allowed to join the Hunters before he met his end."
"Thanks. Good to know." Yugito said.
The senators squirmed and muttered as Percy got the feeling Yugito made her point.
Nico continued. "Anyways... the giants were hard to kill. According to prophecy given during the first Giant war, they could only be defeated by gods and demigods working together."
Dakota belched. "Sorry, did you say gods and demigods... like fighting side by side? THat could never happen!"
"Obviously it did happen since we're still here today," Yugito said.
Nico nodded. "In the first giant war, the gods called on heroes to join them, and they were victorious. Whether it could happen again, I don't know. But with Alcyoneus... he was different. He was completely immortal, impossible to kill by god or demigod, as long as he remained in his home territory-the place where he was born."
Nico paused to let that sink in. "And if Alcyoneus has been reborn in Alaska."
"Then he can't be defeated there," Hazel finished. "Ever. By any means. Which is why our nineteen-eighties expedition was doomed to fail."
Another round of arguing and shouting broke out.
"The quest is impossible!" shouted a senator.
"We're doomed!" cried a ghost.
"More Kool-Aid!" yelled Dakota.
Yugito red chakra and that blazed around her as if on fire which quieted the room in shock and fear. Then Yugito ended her display as though she was just showing off to get their attention.
Yugito's eyes were now cat like.
"For all of you who don't know me, my name is Matatabi-or as Juno referred me to as the two-tail Cat. I asked Yugito to let me take over so I can speak to you in person," Yugito spoke in a different voice than normal. "Unlike most my brethren back home, I came rather fond of humans thanks to Yugito here, although if I am ever released I hope not to be sealed away again. As for here and now, even if you say about Alcyoneus is true, he has not face the likes of me. I promise you, any power Yugito has displayed so far is only a small fraction to what she can do when she uses my full power. Your first expedition may of been a failure, but this quest will not. Even if I have to devour this Alcyoneus myself."
The chakra disappeared and Yugito collapsed out. Frank and Percy caught her before setting her down.
There was brief silence before Reyna cleared her throat. Many, including Percy came to realize, they just heard two-tailed cat speak. "Now I see why Mars was dead set to sending Yugito up north. If that is just a small fraction of what a power of the two tails can do, I don't want to be the enemy having to face its full power. It'll be up to these three to escort her North to accomplish the mission of retrieving our eagle and freeing Thanatos." Reyna turned to Yugito he regain her control. "Do you have a plan?"
Yugito's look told Percy she didn't, but she knew better than to say that. So Percy spoke up.
"First, I need to understand something." He turned to Nico. "I thought Pluto was the god of the dead. Now I hear about this other guy, Thanatos, and the Doors of Death from that prophecy-the Prophecy of Nine. What does all that mean?"
Nico took a deep breath. "Okay. Pluto is the god of the Underworld, but the actual god of death, the one who's responsible for making sure souls go to the afterlife and stay there-that's Pluto's lieutenant, Thanatos. He's like... well, imagine Life and Death are two different countries. Everybody would like to be in life, right? So there's a guarded border to keep people from crossing back over without permission. But it's a big border, with lots of holes in the fence. Pluto tries to seal up the breaches, but new ones keep popping up all the time. That's why he depends on Thanatos, who's like the border patrol, the police."
"Thanatos catches souls," Percy said, "and deports them back to the Underworld."
"Exactly," Nico said. "But now Thanatos has been captured, chained up."
Frank raised his hand. "Uh... how do you chain death?"
"It's been done before." Nico said. "In the old days, a guy named Sisyphus tricked Death and tied him up. Another time, Hercules wrestled him to the ground
"What about those in the elemental nations that died here?" Yugito asked.
That got many squirming as they started wondering the same thing.
"From what I been told those born from the elemental nations souls return there when they died, but I don't know the process of how its done, so there's no telling how Thanatos being capture will effect it now," Nico said. "But if I had to guess, maybe to death god that existed in your world would hopefully come for their souls if the time comes since it would make sense it can travel between worlds just as the Roman gods do. Other than that, souls that was returned to the elemental nations cannot come back in our world as Pluto don't have domain there."
Yugito nodded as she understood.
"Either way, we now have a giant that has captured our death," Percy said. "So if we could free Thanatos, then dead would stay dead?" He glanced at Gwen. "Um... no offense."
"It's more complicated than that," Nico said.
Octavian rolled his eyes. "Why does that not surprise me?"
"You mean the Doors of Death," Reyna said, ignoring Octavian. "They are mentioned in the Prophecy of Nine, which sent the first expedition to Alaska-"
Cato the ghost snorted. "We all know how that turned out! We Lares remember!"
The other ghost grumbled in agreement.
"Don't make me call on Matatabi again," Yugito warned which hushed the Lares up. Obviously Matatabi had scared even the dead.
"Thanatos is only part of the solution," Nico explained. "The Doors of Death... well, that's a concept even I don't completely understand. There are many ways into the Underworld-the River Styx, the Doors of Orpheus-plus smaller escape routes that open up from time to time. With Thanatos imprisoned, all those exits will be easier to use. Sometimes it might work to our advantage and let a friendly soul come back-like Gwen here. More often, it will benefit evil souls and monsters, the sneaky ones who are looking to escape. Now, the Doors of Death-those are the personal doors of Thanatos, his fast lane between Life and Death. Only Thanatos is supposed to know where they are, and the location shifts over the ages. If I understand correctly, the Doors of Death have been forced open. Gaea's minions have seized control of them-"
"Which means Gaea controls who can come back from the dead," Percy said.
Nico nodded. "She can pick and choose who to let out-the worst monsters, the most evil souls. If we rescue Thanatos, that means at least he can catch souls again and send them below. Monsters will die when we kill them, like they used to, and we'll get a little breathing room. But unless we're able to retake the Doors of Death, our enemies won't stay down for long. They'll have an easy way back to the world of the living."
"So we can catch them and deport them," Percy summed up, "but they'll just keep coming back across."
"And I'm guessing whatever agreement that sends souls from the Elemental Nations back to the death god there works the other way around," Yugito noted.
"It's possible." Nico agreed.
Frank scratched his head. "But Thanatos knows where the doors are, right? If we free him, he can retake them."
"I don't think so," Nico said. "Not alone. He's no match for Gaea. That would take a massive quest... an army of the best demigods."
"Foes bear arms to the Doors of Death," Reyna said. "That's the Prophecy of Nine..." She looked at Percy, and for just a moment he could see how scared she was. She did a good job hiding it, but Percy wondered if she'd had nightmares about Gaea too-if she'd seen visions of what would happen when the camp was invaded by monsters that couldn't be killed. 'If this begins the ancient prophecy, we don't have the resources to send an army to these Doors of Death and protect camp. I can't imagine even sparing seven demigods-"
"We should worry about the quest on hand before we worry about that," Yugito said. "I need to go fight the giant Alcyoneus and free Thanatos before the Feast of Fortuna and I need three escorts."
"Yeah," Frank said in a small voice. "That's probably enough for one week."
"So you do have a plan?" Octavian asked skeptically.
Percy looked at his teammates before speaking up. "We go to Alaska as fast as possible..."
"And we improvise," Hazel said.
"A lot," Frank said.
"And I'll take down Alcyoneus," Yugito said.
Reyna studied them. She looked like she was mentally writing her own obituary.
"Very well," she said."Nothing remains except for us to vote what support we can give the quest-transportation, money, magic, weapons."
"Praetor if I may," Octavian said.
"Oh, great," Percy muttered. "Here it comes."
"The camp is in grave danger," Octavian said. "Two gods have warned us we will be attacked four days from now. We must not spread our resources too thin, especially by funding projects that have a slim chance of success.
Octavian looked at the four of them with pity, as if to say, Poor little things."
Before he could say more, Yugito spoke up: "I hate to admit it, but my nephew has a point. You need all the resources you can get here at the home front." Octavian looked taken back as if though he didn't expect Yugito to agree with him as she continued. "Instead, I request at least transportation. Gaea is the earth goddess, right? Then we should avoid traveling on land."
Octavian broke out of his shock and laugh. "Would you like us to charter you an airplane?"
The idea made Percy nauseous. "No. Air travel... I have a feeling that would be bad, too."
"Then by boat," Yugito stated. "You can give us that."
Hazel made a grunting sound. Percy glanced over. She shook her head and mouthed, Fine. I'm fine.
"A boat-" Octavian was about to turn to Senate when Yugito continued.
"It only makes sense. Romans fear Neptune, so I doubt you would try to use the sea to fight the army," Yugito said. "We should be fine since we have the son of Neptune traveling with us. Unless you have a plan to bring the army to the ocean to fight."
There was some chuckles at the idea.
"Very well," Reyna said. "We'll put it to a vote. Senators, the motion is as follows: The quest shall go to Alaska. The senate shall provide full access to the Roman Navy docked at Alameda with as little of armor as possible. Other than that, no other help so we can prepare for the battle coming here. The four adventurers will survive or fail on their own merits. All in favor?"
Every senator's hand went up.
"The motion is passed." Reyna turned to Frank. "Centurion, your party is excused. The senate has other matters to discuss."
...
Percy was incredibly glad to see the sunlight. He filled his lungs with fresh air.
Hazel picked up a large emerald from the path and slipped it in her pocket. "So... we're pretty toast?"
"We'll be fine," Yugito said. "You heard Matatabi. She's on our side."
"Yeah... that was scary-you letting your friend take over," Frank said.
"Matatabi wanted to say something and promised she wouldn't attack the Romans," Yugito said. "I wouldn't let her take over if I wasn't sure of your safety."
"Thanks," Frank said.
Percy gazed across the forum. Stay put, Annabeth had said in his dream. But if he stayed put, this camp would be destroyed. He looked up at the hills, and imagined Gaea's face in the shadows and ridges. You can't win, little demigod, she seemed to say. Serve me by staying, or serve me by going.
Percy made a silent vow. After the Feast of Fortuna, he would find Annbeth. But for now, he had to act. He couldn't let Gaea win.
They were only halfway across the forum when someone called, "Jackson!" Percy turned to see Octavian jogging toward them.
"What do you want?" Percy asked.
Octavian smiled. "Already decided I'm your enemy? That's a rash choice, Percy. I'm a loyal Roman."
Frank snarled. "You backstabbing, slimy-" both Percy and Hazel had to restrain him.
"What do you want Octavian?" Yugito asked. "We still got a quest to prepare for."
"Reyna charged me with a message," Octavian said. "She wants Jackson to report to the principia without your-ah-three lackeys, here. Reyna will meet you there after the senate adjourns. She'd like a private word with you before you leave on your quest."
"What about?" Percy said.
"I'm sure I don't know." Octavian smiled wickedly. "The last person she had a private talk with was Jason Grace. And that was the last time I ever saw him. Good luck and good bye, Percy Jackson."
A/N: I'm working on this story this month to promote my youtube channel of me reading fanfictions and books outloud since I started it with The Legacy of Athena and Hermes: The Lightning Thief (just look up 'Reading of the Legacy of Athena and Hermes: The Lightning Thief). I can't send the link because of course fanfiction site won't let me, but just look it up under my name Ashleigh Stratmann. I'm right now trying to upload the final part of the second chapter of the Lightning Thief. Not easy as my phone that I'm using to make and upload videos keep losing power and shut down even after plugged in.
