I'm just surprised nobody figured out Briseuse's identity.

perhaps the first line will reveal who she was before the change.

"Flee, La Brava, get away from here and show my legacy!"

The last words she heard from the man she admired.

She can't believe it had been about five years since that day and how much she had changed.

Once she was La Brava, the young villainess assistant towards the greatest villain of all time, his success come from invading U.A Academy during a festival.

The mission was a success, but at the same time, it caused a great sacrifice. She will never forget that day when she lost the person she cared for the most. And all she can do to remember him where the video she uploaded on the dark web, since every time she uploads them on public video service, it would be taken down right away.

Now, she became Briseuse, infamous in the cyberworld. A part-time informer for the criminal underground and a known hacker, taking freelance jobs for criminal groups, hacking through computers, opening doors, disrupting communications to the police and heroes. She's known for hacking into databases and finding information, secrets that villains can use, and she was willing to sell them for the right price. She was the best there is, enough that she could see every inch of the city and there's no way for anyone to trace her.

She didn't expect today to be any different, just a search around the city and watch the entertainment of criminals going through a rampage and heroes beating them up, there are cameras everywhere and she can see through them. And for the blind spots, she sends hidden drones to see those hidden areas, they were expensive in the black market yet worth getting.

What she didn't expect was to see a young girl, once criminated by quirk misuse before murdering a Pro Hero and three unfortunate kids that were asking for trouble.

To Briseuse, she could be the key to everything she hoped for. Why she keep being a criminal, why she works day and night to find information and sell useless ones so she can have food on the table. Why she wait five years for this moment.

And now, her key was in front of her. She was scared, shaken, yet calm and curious.

She can see her eyes, look exhausted, there was a bit of black underneath her eyes. The first sign of a villain.

It takes her back the first time she had the same tired eyes, around the time when she met her Gentle, as though every villain had tired eyes, which make sense since most of them would be on the run, not much time to sleep.

And Eri was the latest batch of villains.

"It must be a long day for you," she said, "you can crash on the sofa and get some rest."

The girl turns to see the sofa and back at Briseuse, still unsure whatever or not to trust her.

And she knew it.

It's hard to trust people, especially strangers that have unknown intentions. She knew that she has to prove that she is on Eri's side.

She turns around and goes on her computer, quickly searching up headlines in the latest news. Discovering something related to the girl.

If only they had seen through the eyes of her drones, she pretty much got front seats of the whole thing.

"From what I can tell, every hero in the area is searching for you, and they're not going to stop until you are captured, but they won't find this place, rest assured you are safe here."

"But… they're heroes…" Eri's voice caught Briseuse's attention, she turn around with a raised brow.

"Aren't they're supposed to help people?"

The red hair villainess thinks about the person she brought in, she seems so young, too young to be a villain, she notices on the camera that she wasn't trying to fight back, she had seen another incident where she stop a truck with people watching her, already breaking the misuse of quirks.

She is scared, she knows this, she was lost, she doesn't know much of what the world is.

"I… don't know anymore…" Briseuse answered honestly, "I don't think I can give you a good answer, just rest easy and tomorrow, you'll figure it out."

With no other choice and the fear of the outside, Eri went towards the sofa and sat down, before laying down and settling in, resting before she eventually sleeps.

The former La Brava starting to have regrets, "what am I doing? She's just a kid."

She thinks back to years back when she started her time as a villain, recording crimes committed by her idol, helping out in any way, she was so committed to his cause.

Until that cause was lost.

It wasn't easy for the first year, at times, she was thinking of hanging herself or jumping off a bridge cause she lost her love, but hope is what got through to her.

And when the lost little girl wakes up, she needs to have hope in this dark path nobody wants to step on.

First, she needs to figure out who she is.

Good thing she knows where to find it.

They were just having a nice meal.

Until they got a call from nearby officers of a crime scene.

Midoriya and Mirio arrived, not in their hero outfits, but got access with their hero licenses.

What they had seen was unlike any other crime scene they had been before.

Two sharps, cracked rubble with blood spatter on the tip of the spear.

If not for hidden prints and a hero tracker information, that would have been the only evidence, there was more but no other bodies besides the two young boys.

Which the two heroes saw, covered in sheets as the hospital people took them away.

"This… this is horrible." Midoriya comment, "who could have done this?"

"We already have a suspect," a detective behind the heroes made them jump to attention.

"We found a suspect?" Mirio asked, with a nod in return. All before he shows a tablet containing another incident that happened, not too far from here.

"couldn't get the culprit on camera, but before this incident, she stopped a truck using her quirk, killing the driver insider, before running away."

"She?"

"Eyewitnesses confirm our criminal is female" the detective pointed out, "she fled the scene and young boys start to chase after her," he then show three images that already caught Midoriya's attention.

The blonde boy with the orange x hoodie.

The kid who acted like Bakugo, and shouted at him.

This shocked the green hero.

"What happened to him?" Midoriya questions, pointing at the blonde boy.

"More likely the same that happened to the hero." The informing detective answered before showing an image of a hero, "Bluewave, the water transform hero, was near the scene, he reported before entering the scene, both his body and the boy were never recovered but more likely they were murdered by the culprit. There's a chance he was abducted, but it's very unlikely."

This was a huge shock for Midoriya, he doesn't know much about the boy, but knew he had the energy to be a great hero or at least be a hero like Kanchan. Just to hear that the kid was more likely dead, never to have a future or to achieve his dream.

No kid should end up like this.

For the slightest of moments, he was angered, wanting to know who did this act, so he can find her, apprehend her and pay for her crimes and for taking the lives of an innocent.

"Do you have any other information about the culprit?" Mirio asked.

"Not much, unfortunately." The detective looks at his device, "we have no files or connections towards our quirk data, we might be dealing with someone who doesn't exist on paper, the only information we have is from eyewitnesses."

He kept looking at the information while the two heroes await to hear descriptions, keeping mental notes so they can start investigating.

"According to several sources, our culprit is a young girl, ranging from 10 to 14 years old, wearing a big brown jacket, she has white hair and a big one horn for her mutation quirk."

With the information given, the anger Midoriya felt lessened and grew into the most utter shock he had. His eyes were wide, so was Mirio.

"Can… can you repeat that?" Midoriya asked.

"She has white hair and a big horn." The detective notice the strange look from both the heroes, he was concerned, "is… everything all right?"

"Yeah…" Mirio said, unsure how he's taking it, "I… I didn't expect it. But…"

Suddenly, a phone rang from the blonde's pocket, he pulled it up and notice the caller was his former sensei. "I… I need to get this call."

"Okay." The detective was still confused.

Mirio walk out of the crime scene, when there was nobody around him, he answered the call.

"Sir?" he muttered, "this is undoubtedly perfect timing."

"What makes you say that?"

Mirio thinks back to the past, thinking years ago of a poor kid he couldn't save, his mind connecting that kid with what happened in the scene. He thought about the man in the mask taking that kid, and remember the investigation that they took that eventually went to a dead end.

"Sir, the Shie Hassaikai… they're back?"

"Togata…" Sir spoke with a serious tone, giving the most honest answer that utterly confused the top ten heroes.

"The Shie Hassaikai are dead."

Sir Nighteye called from his phone, informing his most trusted student of the information given, he didn't expect him to mention the yakuza group that kept themselves hidden for all these years.

After distress when a truck found a young girl and dead mother, and the discovery of an opened facility very hidden in the middle of nowhere, Nighteye was instructed by the Commission to investigate the scene.

What he didn't expect was an aftermath of a bloodbath.

Blood splatter everywhere.

Gore on walls and equipment.

No sign of a single body anywhere.

And from what they found out, the victims were members and those connected from the Shie Hassaikai, a gang lead by Overhaul, who was one of the victims in this mess.

He stood at where it all began, seeing the bed, the toys, the lamp, it was all there.

Sir Nighteye knew who did this. And he wasn't sure how he can cope.

Especially to how his investigation on the Shie Hassaikai ended all those years ago

"What do you mean you're closing the case!?" an angry Mirio shouted, slamming both his hands on Nighteye's desk.

"I know this news is hard for you but…"

"Sir, he is out there with that girl, she needs to be rescued."

"We tried, Togata," Nighteye informs, "we had permits and searched every facility owned by the Shie Hassaikai, there was no sign of the girl you told us about. And we have no any record of her, on paper, she doesn't exist."

"But I saw her, Midoriya saw her, isn't that enough to further the investigation?"

"But you two are the only witnesses, we talked to the other members and people connected to the group and all of them say they saw no girl, all pass the lying detector, your source aren't enough."

"She does exist!" Mirio said in anger and complete tears, "he's doing bad things to that poor girl, I took a vow to save a million people, but how can I be a hero if I can't save one!"

"Togata!" Nighteye shouted as he stood up, "I understand your frustration, but shouting isn't going to solve anything, this girl doesn't exist, you don't need to save something that doesn't exist. You are dismissed!"

Nighteye saw the eyes of his successor, as though he couldn't believe what he was hearing, right before he storms out of the office. Leaving him alone to think about the case he shut down.

Overhaul was steps ahead of him.

He won.

"You were right." Nighteye was regretful, "she does exist…I'm sorry…"

He stops the call before he could hear his voice.

Nighteye kept looking at the scene and nothing more, thinking about how things could have gone different if he managed to look harder.

This facility was very well hidden from the word, absolute no records and any witnesses claim that it doesn't exist, even with his future seeing quirk, this place was hidden away, as though they planned it and kept anyone away from the place intentionally, long enough to pass the time Nighteye look into,

All this time, they were here.

All this time, she was here.

And what happened here was the most troubling moment for the future seeing hero.

"Search the city," Nighteye instructed, "inform every hero to look for a girl with white hair and one horn. We have to find her."

"And here I am! At U.A during their festival!"

"Villains!"

"Run!"

"Eyes on the targets, two villains, apprehend them."

"No! Gentle!"

"Flee, La Brava, get away from here and show my legacy!"

"Get her!"

"Don't let her get away!"

Briseuse woke up from a nightmare, the past that lead her to this path, seeing several heroes grabbing her idol, before she fled and ran as long as she could remember.

She managed to escape, but he was gone.

The girl relaxed, stretching her arms while she stood up from the chair she slept on, before turning to see a sleepy young girl on her bed.

What happened yesterday took a lot in her, she deserves this rest. She lost a lot of energy and seemed tired when she saw her, a good night sleep was something she needed.

It's best to leave her alone for the time being, what do they do next? That would be something to consider when she wakes up.

They couldn't sleep, they couldn't rest.

They couldn't stop thinking about her.

It had been a long time since they thought about her, it took time to try and move on, to accept that not everyone can be saved.

For Midoriya, he understood it from All Might's wisdom, that there are people out there calling for his name when he's too far away, to his mind, the lost girl was one of them, and all he can do is be the hero that he is so that lost girl could find him.

Instead, this happens.

Both of them sat in their hero agency, thinking all this time towards the girl, how she could have ended up like this.

At first, they thought that Overhaul, the man they saw walking away with the girl in arms, was mainly responsible, he still is, but more towards the sense of brainwashing, to force her to do those bad things with no other option, threatened with her life to become a villain.

But when Mirio told Midoriya that Overhaul and his Yakuza was dead, it only lead to several unanswered questions. Questions that would be answered later.

They stood in the former office of Nighteye, now the office owned by Lemillion, waiting.

Midoriya shook, he kept silent the most out of the both of them, thinking about his past and how much he struggled with class for just thinking about Eri, his grades was average at best, and he barely pass any academics, it also affect his hero work, the reason why he didn't have much control of his quirk and manage to get into forty when he graduated. He could have done more, but the concern got to him.

For both of them, it was hard to manage, to think that Eri could have done such things, could have taken lives, they originally saw her as a poor girl who needed help, and they want, in their all abilities to help her.

They knew she needs help the most out of anyone.

Because they failed to save her from the start. To write the wrongs.

When the door opens, both look to see a man they expect, a man who knows full well than them, a man they didn't think they see again in this room.

"Sir!" Mirio smiles, approaching Sir Nighteye. "Thank you for coming on short notice."

"Anything for you." He said, "and this situation had gotten out of hand, unfortunately."

When Midoriya approaches the two, Nighteye can see their expression, they were at one of four crime scenes caused by the girl, he has been in all of them, he knows the situation much more and it's up for him to inform them.

"First, I want to apologise for closing the case," he stated, "they just slip out of our hands, we should have looked closer."

"It did take a lot," Midoriya said.

"I know, and we been through a lot after all these years, but now we have to see what's in front of us. Of Eri."

Hearing the name of the girl, the two paid close attention to the instruction.

"We'll search the entire city for her, the heroes taking night shifts are on high alert for the girl and already out there looking for her. We'll do the same by morning"

"Do you have any information?"

"Not yet, but we'll find her, just remember that if you find her, you have to never let your guard down."

"She will remember us, Sir." Lemillion pointed out, "if anything, we'll try to talk it out. She will be confused and lost, and, after all these years, I will be there to save her."

"Me too," Midoriya added.

"Sure you will," Nighteye smiles, placing a shoulder on the boy he took in and got him to become a highly ranked hero. At the same time, he uses his quirk on, hoping the future to show what happens in the next few days, the next few weeks until he finds her or any information of her being found.

To know the future is bright for him is something worth seeing.

"You have always been a nice hero after all these years, which is why I always see you becoming the greatest hero of…"

Just when he spoke, he saw something that took him away from the moment.

Enough for him to let go and step back. "Of…" his face was in shock, staring at the young heroes.

This cause Both of them concerned for their older hero.

"Sir Nighteye, is everything alright?"

This caught his attention as he looks at the two. "Yeah…" he gave a weak chuckle, "just… just need a bit of time. We…. We understand who we're dealing with and have to process it."

"I get it, Sir," Mirio said, giving a comforting response.

He quickly left, leaving the two both understanding towards their situation, yet confused by Nighteyes' actions.

Nighteye fled away from the boys, he can't bear to let them know.

He got out of the office out of the building, away from the building, till he was at a good spot to let out his frustrations.

"It… can't… she wouldn't…"

The information was there, clear as day, it happens in the following week. When they investigate the crime, saw incidents that troubled him that he can prevent.

Until one scene that shocked him.

The perspective of Mirio, on the ground, looking up at a fiery scene, saw a black figure with bright red eyes, long hair, and a large horn. She looked like a monster with visible black veins around her and skin that looked strong and concerning.

She was enraged, approaching Mirio till she jumps on top of him, enough to see the most wicked, most fearful, most terrifying eyes he saw.

before hearing horrified screams from his former student.

Then… nothing.

In his vision, Eri murders Mirio in cold blood.

He was afraid.

Never, since his vision of All Might, had been this afraid.

He sat down, shivered in fear, unsure what to make of it or how he's going to deal with it.

This was the first time he saw the death of Lemillion, he doesn't want to lose him.

If he investigates the search of the girl, it will ultimately lead him to his grave.

If the girl is out there and not captured, this vision will come true.

"I can't let this happen." He muttered. Standing up, thinking of a plan.

"I won't let it happen."

The future can change, All Might was proof.

He needs to prevent Eri from killing Mirio.

Meaning she needs to be stopped before she could do anything bad.

He knows the right person to call to ensure this future never happens.

There is a change of plans.

And he will understand.

To be continued…
