All the parents were called and took their children home. The children were then confined to their rooms while the parents discussed what should be done. None of them were particularly happy that their kids were now aliens, that would turn into apes at the full moon. And they didn't know if they should leave them to be trained by the man who was indirectly responsible for turning them into aliens and was also an alien himself. They each called up Capsule Corp in their own time and they all got confirmation from Bulma, that this was the best option for their children. It was decided that the mothers of each child had the final decision on whether the children went. Linda thought maybe they should let them go, because although they had done a lot of dangerous stuff, the kids did believe they had permission and perhaps this could be beneficial not just to the kids, but maybe the whole world. Although the Brochure had said it was for rule breaking children, Linda decided, that maybe it would be best for her sons to go. Vivian, Isabella's mother was the next to agree, because from what she had been told from Bulma Saiyan's need to learn to control their anger and strength. She also knew that Isabella would be overjoyed to spend the entire summer with Phineas. It took Buford and Baljeet's mother a little longer to agree, but eventually they agreed. Buford's mother agreed, because she knew Buford would love to get stronger and Baljeet's mother agreed, because she knew her son was always up for a new challenge, mental or otherwise.
After the decision had been made the mothers told their children they could go, but had to promise to be careful, to which they agreed. Linda then called Bulma, told her to give them a week to prepare and then they would be ready to start training. Bulma had agreed to pick them up and take them to where they would spend their summer training. During this time, the kids were each taken to the doctor to have their tails removed. To their surprise they healed very quickly, to the point there was more then enough time for them to heal before they needed to go start training. Candace was not particular happy about this decision, as she felt her brothers and their friends weren't being punished, because they actually wanted to go. To make matters worse, they were basically training to be superheros, which to Candace sounded completely unfair. She expressed her distress to her parents, but both thought this was for the best. Lawrence pointed out that while a punishment may be in order, no harm had been caused and they needed to do what was best for Phineas and Ferb. A statement to which Linda agreed with. This did not make Candace any happier about the decision, as she still believed they were being rewarded as opposed to punished.
Isabella had also been forced to tell her Fire Side troupe that she would be gone for the Summer, as she had to train and get strong for the sake of the world. They were sad to see her go but agreed to carry on their duties as Fire Side girls. The Fire Side Girl founder … also revealed that there was a turn into an alien patch and Isabella was the first Fire Side Girl ever to gain this patch. They all wished Isabella good luck and she left Gretchen in charge until she returned. A week passed by quickly and one morning the Summer Vacation Gang were standing outside the Flynn-Fletcher residence with their parents waiting for Goku and Bulma to arrive. Eventually, they noticed a flying vehicle descending upon them, which landed in the back yard. Once the vehicle had landed, out stepped Bulma, Goku and an old man they did not recognise.
"So, you kids ready to start training?" asked Bulma happily.
"We sure are Miss Bulma," said Phineas happily.
"Good also we've got some more news for you," said Goku.
"What's that?" asked Isabella.
"Well we found out that they're holding the world martial arts tournament at the end of the summer. If you kids do well enough at your training, we've decided you should compete to test your strength," stated Bulma, which created big smiles on all the children, who were excited about the challenge.
"And thankfully there's no Junior division this year, so you get to compete with adults," said Goku.
"How is that a good thing?" asked Linda, a little crossly.
"Trust me, if they compete with other kids the only challenge they have will be with each other. Fighting adults will be the best way for them to test their strength," said Goku. "Besides I was only 12 when I first competed in the Worlds Martial Arts tournament and I made it all the way to the finals."
Linda thought back to the first tournament Goku competed in and sure enough she had remembered him admitting he was only 12 years old, which made him the youngest person to ever compete. Linda was still worried for her kids, like any mother should be, but if they were undertaking the same training as Goku, she had a feeling they would be fine.
"Alright, but if my kids suffer a permanent injury, I'll never forgive you," said Linda, to which the rest of the parents agreed.
"I understand, but I promise you your kids will be fine," said Goku.
The parents nodded and each said goodbye to their children. After hugs were made the kids were ready to go.
"Alright Mr Goku let's start training," said Phineas with excitement.
"Um actually we've been talking about that and we've decided that I won't be the one training you this summer," said Goku.
"What? Why not?" asked Isabella confused.
"Well I'm not saying this to sound rude, but we want to see how serious you are about training first. And we think it would be better to start you off with smaller exercises. Training with me, might be a little too extreme for you guys. That and my wife would probably kill me if I'm gone all summer" said Goku.
"Then who are we training with?" asked Buford.
"My very first teacher. The man who helped me train for my first martial arts tournament, the turtle hermit, Master Roshi," said Goku, pointing to the old man.
"So, I hear you kids want to learn martial arts. Now I might not be on the same level of Goku anymore. In fact, compared to him I'm a weakling. But don't let that discourage you, my training will be more extreme then anything you have ever faced. Are you sure your up to it?" asked Master Roshi.
"Sir we're always up for a new challenge," said Phineas, as the rest of his friends nodded in agreement.
"My we sure have an enthusiastic group here. Very well welcome to the Turtle School," said Master Roshi.
With introductions made, Bulma decided it was time to go.
"Well, all abord kids, Summer won't last forever, and you guys need to start training as soon as possible," said Bulma.
"Well there are 104 days of summer vacation, hopefully that's enough for us to train and get strong," said Phineas.
"Actually, we've used up the first week of Summer, so we only have 97 days left," said Ferb.
"Well that's still more than three months, so hopefully that's enough," said Phineas.
And with that the five children, boarded Bulma's vehicle with the Turtle Hermit and left to start there summer of training. Goku then bid them farewell and told them he would see them at the end of the Summer. He then flew of home to continue his own training.
