"I'm going to put my bikini on."

We have been sitting on the terrace in the garden, pops has been talking the most with Johnny. I can see they like each other, and I can see that pops really wants to get to know Johnny. I stand up. Johnny is looking at me with a smile. I take my bikini as I go inside to the bathroom behind the kitchen.

"I'm going to get something to drink."

Mom stands up and goes inside to get herself a Martini. Johnny inhales deeply and looks at the view, he has never seen such a beautiful view before. Pops looks at him with a smile.

"Don't you want to swim too? I see you've got your boxer with you."
"Yeah, I'll be changing in a bit."
"Take your time, I've learned a few things in my life."

Johnny looks at him and sees him smiling.

"One, live the life you want, and do what you love most, and two…"

Pops looks at Johnny's curious face with a smile.

"Don't push love away, don't deny it, if it happens, accept it and enjoy it, because before you know it, you can lose it forever."

Mom came back outside. Johnny swallows and clears his throat, then he stands up.

"I'm going to change into my boxers."
"You do that, and have a good swim, the water is amazing."

Mom sits down as Johnny went inside. He looks around and sees the little sign on the door to the bathroom. He went there and opens the door on the moment that I am naked. He sees me and quickly closes the door again. He closes his eyes and inhales deeply. I have not noticed him opening the door. I am brushing my hair. I am putting them into a ponytail. I always do when I am going to swim. I just heard the door closing and I look at it.

"Who is there?"
"It's me, Johnny, can I come in?"
"Give me a moment."
"Okay."

I quickly take my bikini and put it on. I turn and open the door. I see him leaning against the doorpost and he looks at me up and down. I watch his face and see his smile.

"See, white looks perfect on you."
"Perfect is a strong word, Johnny."
"Just saying, can I change in here?"
"Sure, I'm going to swim."

I walk away and he looks after me. I walk outside, mom and pops are looking at me as I dive into the swimming pool. Johnny changes into his boxer and came outside again. I am swimming back and forth and turn my head and see him coming outside. I stop swimming and inhale deeply. Dear god, why are you teasing me so much? He came closer and looks at me, with a smile he dives into the water. I turn and see him coming above the water.

"Baby looks so mature now."

Mom looks at pops and sees his smile.

"I know what you're thinking, dad."
"It would be good for her."
"I don't know, Baby wants to stay professional."
"Give it some time, sweetie, I'm pretty sure when they finally acknowledge what they feel for each other that they will have a great relationship."

Mom inhales deeply, she knows what her father means. She sees it too.

"I think they belong together."

She looks at her father again and sees him nodding.

"Give them time, sweetie."
"When is mom coming home?"
"With dinner, she said she needed a new dress."
"You think she will try to push them to be together?"
"Maybe, I can't say for sure, you know your mother is a sucker for romance."
"As are you."
"And you, sweetie."
"And Baby."

They look at me again with a smile. I get out of the water and went to my swimming pool chair to lay down. Johnny is watching me and went to the edge of the pool and leans against it while he keeps looking at me. I close my eyes and smile. I know he is looking at me, and I am actually enjoying that he is doing that.

"She only had one boyfriend. You know how Jake reacts to these sorts of things."
"Your husband has always been like this. He never had been surrounded by love until he came here the first time. You remember?"
"Oh yes, and how mom was pushing him."

Pops is thinking as he looks at his daughter.

"You think he never proposed to you if your mother hasn't pushed him? You two were already dating for almost two years."
"I think he eventually would have proposed, but yes, I do think mom is behind it."
"Your mother has a rare gift, just like you."
"You say that so often, dad."
"Because it's true, sweetie, and Baby has that gift too."

Mom looks at me with a smile, then she looks at Johnny and sees his dreamy eyes.

"I just hope mom won't be pushing Johnny too much, I don't want to see Baby getting hurt."
"You think he will hurt her?"
"I don't know, he has a reputation and I know Baby is careful."
"I see."
"But I can see she has lost her heart to him."
"And he's definitely in love with her."
"But he tries to hide it, they both try to stay professional."

I open my eyes and look at him, he sees my eyes and I see his smile growing a bit. I move a little, and with that I actually perked up my chest a little. Johnny bites his lip. He gets out of the water, and I open my eyes. I just gasped. Yes, I know, not the first time. I watch how the water runs over his abs and how he goes with his hands through his hair. He is looking at me and I wish he did not do that. He is making things very hard for me but also complicated.

Nana came home earlier than expected, she walks through the back door and sees us. She looks at Johnny and her eyebrows go up.

"Who's that?"

Pops turns his head and stands up. She looks at him and he smiles as he went to her to give her a kiss.

"You're early."
"Yes, I wanted to be back home after hours of hearing the same things over again."
"You found a dress?"
"No, but that's okay, I've got enough clothes already."

She went to her daughter, and they hug. Then she looks at me and Johnny and starts to frown.

"Who's the boy?"
"That's Ron Castle's son."

She looks at pops who is smiling. Her eyebrows go up.

"How did they meet?"
"He's Baby's boss."

Mom answers with a smile. Nana looks at her and then back at Johnny and me.

"What job is she doing?"
"She's his assistant."

Nana looks at pops who winks at her with a smile. Then she starts to smile and came to me. I look up and see her.

"Nana!"

I jump up and hug her tightly. She chuckles as she hugs me back. Johnny looks at us with a smile.

"I see you've got company, Baby, aren't you introducing me?"
"Yes, nana, this is my boss Johnny Castle. Johnny this is my grandmother Elizabeth."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, ma'am."
"You're very amiable, young man, just like your father, but you can call me Lizzy if you want. Everyone calls me that."
"I feel honored, Lizzy."

She chuckles a little and looks at me with a smile. She grabs my head, and I can see her watching me closely. Then she starts to smile and looks at Johnny again.

"You're staying for dinner?"
"I don't know what mom wants."
"I'll call your father."

She winks at me and turns to go to the house. What is up with everyone today? Johnny looks at me. I turn my head and see him smiling.

"What?"
"Nothing, I can see where you got your quirkiness from."

He winks at me and before I could say something about it, I see him diving into the pool. I sigh as I watch his head coming out of the water, he turns and looks at me with a smile. I roll my eyes. I am not sure what to think of this right now.

When nana had called dad to ask him over for dinner with Lisa, he said he was not sure if he would be here in time. Then I see Johnny taking his phone and calling Gio, and now they are here.

We are sitting at the dining table for dinner. Nana arranged the seating. Dad first wanted to sit between Johnny and me, but she made sure that dad is sitting across from Lisa who sits next to me. I am sitting between Johnny and Lisa and opposite from mom. Pops has sat himself at the top of the table this time and nana has sat herself opposite from Johnny. What are they up to? I know they are up to something.

"So, Lissy, how's college going?"

Lisa looks at pops with a smile.

"I've passed all my classes, now I just need to go for preparing for next school year and then I've got my summer holiday."
"You're looking forward?"
"Yes, we're going to Kellerman's this year, I hope it will be great."

I see pops smiling as he then looks at me and Johnny.

"And you, Baby?"
"What about me, pops?"
"You know what I mean."
"Baby is going with us to Kellerman's."

Dad interferes and we all look at him. I feel like I am getting frustrated. Johnny looks at me and sees my expression. He lays him hand on my tight, I nearly gasp at that gesture and look at him. He smiles at me and nods.

"Dad, you know I'll be at work then."

Dad inhales deeply. Pops is getting confused.

"What do you mean, Baby? You'll be working at Kellerman's?"

I look at nana and nod.

"As I already told dad, Johnny and Penny will be at Kellerman's working, and I'll be there too, because I'm Johnny's assistant."
"Sounds good."

I look at pops who smiles at me. I look at dad who is getting angry.

"My father doesn't want to see me working, he rather sees me marrying a billionaire and stay at home doing nothing at all."

I got angry just because of his expression, and then I burst out.

"Baby."
"No, dad, you know I'm telling the truth."

I stand up and look at him. Everyone is looking at me.

"You don't want me to live my life, to have a life of my own, you don't care what Lisa is doing because you know she'll marry some millionaire one day, but you know I'm not like her, I know you wish I was like her. I don't even understand why you want me to be like her."
"Baby."

I look at mom who is looking at me without any expression on her face. I look at nana who has the same expression. I look at pops who seems to understand my frustration, I look at Lisa who is looking at her plate. Then I look at Johnny who tries to give me a smile. I never make a scene, but I am done with this now.

"I don't get you, dad, you hate the fact that I work, but you wish me to marry a millionaire, then you meet Johnny, you think he's trash at first, even if you didn't say that with direct words. Then he comes to us because he needs help, and you discover he's an actual billionaire, and yet you still don't want him to be around me, let it be, be my boss. I thought you finally changed your mind, but I guess I was wrong."

The tears are streaming down my face, and I quickly leave the room. I'm going to my bedroom I have here at my grandparents'. Lisa looks at Johnny now, the rest is looking at dad. Johnny stands up.

"I'm going to look if Baby is alright."

Dad stands up when Johnny said that.

"You're not going anywhere, boy, this is my problem."
"Let him go, Jake, don't make it worse."

Dad looks at mom and sees her expression. Johnny looks at pops who gives him a nod and he quickly went to search for me.

"Her room is on the first floor in the back."

Johnny looks at nana and gives her a nod, she smiles at him and then eats on. Lisa looks up at her parents. Mom making dad to sit down again. Dad did not look at anyone in the room.

"Why do you want Baby to be like me, dad?"

They look at Lisa, it is the first time she said dad instead of daddy. She seems to have realized a few things now.

"I…"

But dad did not know how to reply to that question.

"I see, I think I know why. You see Baby growing up into this wonderful woman, one who knows what she wants with her life, one who doesn't want to let her life depend on some sort of millionaire, while I'm still acting like a little girl. Is that what you prefer, dad? Having Baby to act like a little girl, so you don't have to worry if she gives her virtue to the first guy she meets."

Dad inhales deeply, but Lisa can see he is listening to her.

"Baby is not naïve anymore, dad, neither is she innocent. If you maybe have showed more interest in the person she truly is instead of still looking at her as the sweet innocent little girl you want her to be, you would know she isn't even a virgin anymore."

No one is surprised about it except for dad. He looks confused, mom looks at Lisa and shakes her head. Lisa looks down. Dad looks at the rest and sees they are not surprised about hearing this.

"Is that true?"
"It is, son, she gave her innocence to her first boyfriend a few years ago."
"But she's too young…"

Pops holds his hand up to stop dad there.

"Your youngest is the most mature teenager I've ever seen in my life. You should be proud of her. So what if she lost her virginity? It's her choice, I know she's your daughter and you want to protect her, but believe me, trying to hold her back, makes things worse."

He stands up and nods his head towards mom, then he leaves the room to go to the parlor to have a drink. Lisa quickly stands up and follows him.

"I'm going to leave you two alone."

Mom and dad look at nana standing up and leaving the room as well. Mom looks at him, but he is looking down.

"You knew she had sex with Justin, and you never cared to tell me?"
"Baby asked me not to tell you."
"But yet your parents know, and Lisa knows."
"Because she has told them about it."
"I don't know who my youngest is anymore, she has a job, she has sex, who knows what else she's doing."

Mom inhales deeply and takes her glass to drink some.

"It only means that she's growing up, and she wants to figure out who she really is and what she really wants in her life."
"And having Johnny around all the time?"
"What do you mean?"
"I can see how they look at each other, Marge, and she works like twelve hours a day, five days a week and then he comes to our place in the weekend, saying he needs to hide from his own mother."
"Don't you dare to go down there, if this wasn't true, he wouldn't be at our place."
"You never know what stories someone can make up."
"I think it's time for you to open your eyes a little more, Jake, get to know the boy, you might start to like him."

Dad snorts and shakes his head.

"You want Baby to marry a millionaire, but you don't want her to be around a billionaire. You confuse me, but like my father said, if you try too hard to hold her back, you will lose her, and he should know about that, because he nearly lost me."

He looks at her, she stands up and went to the parlor, leaving dad to think about her words.
