Summary: "You're not a happy drunk." Grace from Karen's POV.

I can handle my alcohol.

You, however, are a lightweight.

I don't know how much you've had, but it's enough to magnify every trouble you've ever had – your divorce, the fact you're single, the fact Will is gay – without reminding you of the positives. You're not a happy drunk.

So I decide to take you home.

"I love you, thank you," you slur. "I don't deserve you."

"No, you don't," I reply. And when you collapse, I pick you up. You put your arm around my shoulders and I carry you. And we walk on together, because you're deceptively light.
