A/N: Merry Christmas everybody! I had initially intended to publish this tomorrow, but since I (and likely all of you) have no plans going on today, I figured I would try and get this out sooner rather than later. Also, feel free to leave a review with thoughts, as any feedback on how I can improve my writing would be appreciated.
A/N 2: I am going to be jumping between perspectives occasionally, but I will generally mark the change in perspective when it happens.

Chapter 1: Wanna Be Startin' Something
Izuku
As Izuku Midoriya walked into the classroom of Hero Course Class 1-A, he could feel the tense atmosphere that hung over his classmates. It was surreal to think just one week ago their class had been going for rescue training at the USJ. However, though it had been named the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, what happened within that building was no simulation; the attack by the League of Villains had been all too real. It was only the lucky intervention by Class 1-A's teachers that Izuku and his classmates had survived.
'If All Might wasn't there, I would be dead for sure, along with everyone else.' Izuku thought grimly.
The student body had been sent reeling by the media fallout and the administration had sent the students home for the rest of the previous week. Most of the students in Class 1-A had spent the time at home furiously texting in a group chat Sero and Ojiro had organized so that everyone could discuss what happened and work through their feelings. Iida had repeatedly insisted that everyone should plan to speak with Hound Dog, the school psychiatrist when they returned to school. Of course, that had resulted in Kacchan's only text in the group chat, a vehement declaration that "A real hero doesn't need help or run off to cry on a couch to a shitty mutt!", after which he had left the group chat.
'Not that I expected much else from Kacchan.' Izuku thought glumly. Kirishima had apologized and promised to keep Kacchan in the loop of any important discussions the group had.
Like most of his classmates, however, Izuku claimed that he didn't feel severely affected by the USJ encounter. In fact, he was fine. Sure, he had to sleep with a nightlight for the past few days and had almost thrown up when he saw some oranges on a tree in the neighborhood were beginning to rot and go grey and had a minor panic attack when he saw a little girl with purple hair in buns that looked like Mineta's balls fall in the supermarket yesterday… 'Huh. Maybe I should talk to Hound Dog, even if it's just to get his autograph.' He muttered.
Mostly though, Izuku felt guilty; the teachers had gotten grievously injured because they had to protect his class from the villains. Thirteen had had her own quirk used against her by the Warp Gate villain Kurogiri, and Aizawa-sensei… Izuku had shuddered at the news of Tomura Shigaraki's quirk decaying his teacher's arm, as well as the brutal scene of Aizawa being nearly beaten to death by the monstrous Nomu.
He also had been one of the few to witness All Might's fight with the Nomu up close. Witnessing the absurd power of the Number One Hero had filled him with a strong feeling of responsibility considering he had inherited All Might's quirk.
'One day, I will master this quirk and will be strong enough to protect everyone else like All Might did. But I need to learn how to control this power before then. And I need to do it soon.'
Izuku found his seat and sat down. His classmates were all still discussing the USJ incident. Notably, Kaminari, Jiro, and Kirishima were discussing how much of a big deal the news had made about the incident, while Tokoyami was still chatting with Sato about how unreal it was to see All Might's strength in person. Apparently, the Dark Shadow quirk user had been able to see All Might dispatch the cannon fodder villains when he was exiting the Squall Zone with Koda.
Exactly a minute before class was supposed to start, Iida, clearly in his element as the class representative, rushed into the room exclaiming that everyone needed to be in their seats and ready to begin the day of classes. Smirking, Sero pointed out that, by virtue of him being the only one standing, Iida was the only one not prepared.
"But technically, Iida's not the only one who isn't ready, right? Has anyone seen Mineta or Koda?" Kaminari asked out loud.
Everyone looked around, noticing that Kaminari was correct. Where Koda and Mineta should have been seated were empty chairs.
"Tooru-chan is also missing. Has anyone seen her?" Tsu added.
Ojiro sweatdropped. "She's invisible though? Technically, no one has ever seen her."
"Hmm, you're right. They aren't here, and I don't recall any of them participating in the group chat for the past few days either…" Iida muttered.
"That would likely be because they are not in the Hero Course at UA anymore." A new voice said.
Everyone's eyes snapped to the doorway, where two tall men walked into the classroom. The first man had black hair and light brown skin. His eyes glowed an unearthly gold color behind a pair of glasses with dull orange frames. His Hero Costume consisted of segmented body armor that appeared to be made of black metal over a navy blue unitard. The armor included a set of gauntlets with fingers ending in a sharp silvery point, almost like a dragon's claw, and the man had matching greaves that ended just above the knee. The look was finished with a fancy-looking black utility belt with paired drop leg holsters, each filled with what looks like a hi-tech pistol. Around his neck was a navy-blue respirator like Izuku's own that featured one large black lens that would wrap around the entirety of one's face when worn.
However, it was the other person who had entered the room that was the center of attention. This was especially true considering that for one student, it was like looking in a mirror. Tall, broad-shouldered, and wearing their family's distinctive white and navy armor was Tensei Iida, better known as the High-Speed Hero, Ingenium.
Immediately, the seventeen students reacted.
"It's Ingenium!" Izuku whispered excitedly.
"Onii-sama, what are you doing here?" both Iida and Yaoyorozu exclaimed.
"Onii-sama?!" The rest of the class said in shock.
The man who was yet to be identified smiled.
"Hello class, my name is Ameya Yaoyorozu, also known as the Alchemist Hero Alchemax. This is the Pro Hero Ingenium, also known as Tensei Iida. Due to your homeroom teacher Eraserhead's injuries, we have been requested to serve as your replacement teachers for the rest of the academic year." the brown-skinned man said in perfect Japanese. The class was stunned, to say the least. However, the moment of silence was shattered as the entire class was whipped up into a frenzy with questions.
"How do you speak such perfect Japanese?" Kaminari-kun queried.
"What happened to the three people who are missing?" Tsu ribbited.
"How the fuck are you related to Ponytail, gaijin?!" Kacchan roared.
"Professeurs, who designed your costumes? C'est magnifique!" Aoyama-kun preened.
'Alchemax …why does that name sound so familiar?' Izuku pondered, though unlike his fellow students he did not say this aloud.
Yaoyorozu-sensei laughed. "Hold on, guys, let me take roll first, and then we can answer your questions!"
After the class quieted down, the new teacher quickly took roll. Then, Alchemax focused on the class.
"To answer your questions: I am fluent in Japanese because, despite my skin tone, I am actually half-Japanese. While my mother is originally from India, my father is the eldest son of the Yaoyorozu zaibatsu. My grandfathers were close business associates, and as a result, my parents were childhood friends and sweethearts. I split my childhood between living here and India until partway through my second year of middle school, when my parents moved back to India full time to take care of my great-grandmother. So, I ended up living with my cousin Momo's family up to and including my time here at UA. In fact, I was classmates with Eraserhead, Present Mic, and Ingenium here. After graduating, I worked as a sidekick for a few years here, then returned to India to run my own agency." The hero exposited. "My costume, Aoyama-kun, was made by me when I attended UA. It is uniquely designed to allow me to optimally use my quirk."
"Hmm, so his costume is a Support Item? Maybe he has a quirk like Best Jeanist? But if that was the case then why…." Izuku trailed off into a long string of muttering until Kacchan growled at him to 'stop muttering like a creepy stalker'.
Having seen that the class was now rapt with attention, Tensei smirked and continued where Ameya had left off. "My costume, on the other hand, is like my little brother Tenya's costume in that it is a variant of the Velocity Armor that has been the Idaten Hero family's signature look for generations." Ingenium grinned. The eyes of the class shot to Iida, who blushed under the scrutiny of his peers and gave a choppy wave. "As said before, we are here because we are filling in for Grump—I mean, for Aizawa-sensei while he recovers from his wounds from that villain attack at the USJ. Apparently, Recovery Girl has declared he is to be put on injured reserve for the rest of the academic year." The high-speed Hero paused to give a bemused chuckle. "Apparently, he's on strict orders to burn off some of his accrued vacation days and be doted on by his girlfriend, though of course, you didn't hear that last bit from me."
Hearing of Aizawa's love life sent a wave of murmurs through the audience, most vocal of whom was Ashido as she demanded 'the tea' about Eraserhead's love interest. This sentiment was echoed by many members of the class, at least until Bakugo roared about 'not giving two shits about who Sleeping Bag Sensei was fucking'.
"That brings us to the next point, which is regarding your classmates Minoru Mineta, Tooru Hagakure, and Koji Koda. After the events at the USJ, many parents have withdrawn their children from UA, though for different reasons. In Mineta-kun's case, he requested a transfer to a high school without a Hero Course. According to Principal Nezu, Mineta-kun stated he was no longer interested in being a Hero. According to him, 'No amount of pussy is worth risking his life over'.
Izuku's face twisted into a look of disgust, and around the room, everyone had the same expression. It was no secret that all the girls, and most of the boys, found Mineta's single-minded obsession with girls and lewdness to be off-putting. To discover he was also cowardly to the point of abandoning Heroism as a career, however, made what little goodwill the class may have had for him evaporate. Even Kaminari, arguably the only person who had attempted to make friends with the purple pervert, seemed put off.
"Was he really just trying to be Hero to pick up chicks?" Kaminari asked incredulously.
"Absolutely, kero. He tried to cop a feel at my boobs multiple times when we were trying to escape the Flood Zone at the USJ." Tsuyu retorted. "Plus, when we were stuck on the boat he cried because he thought he was going to die before he got a chance to touch Momo-chan's boobs, kero."
Ingenium balked and shot a nervous look at Yaoyorozu-sensei, who had a stormy look on his face. Based on his revelation that he was Yaoyorozu-san's cousin, it was unsurprising the Pro Hero took exception to his cousin being objectified.
"Honestly, I'm fucking glad the Grapist is gone." Kacchan scoffed, and the rest of the class all murmured in agreement.
"Language, Bakugo-kun," Ingenium said pointedly.
Yaoyorozu-sensei took a deep breath to regain his composure and continued.
"In the case of Koda-kun, his mother was concerned about him attending school far from home following the USJ Incident and had requested that he be transferred to a hero school back in his home province of Iwate. Apparently, many students are in similar situations, including a few from Class 1-B. Fortunately, Koda-kun had been accepted into Yuusha Academy in Kureito city, and Principal Nezu was able to work out a transfer with them. Hagakure-san on the other hand has gone to Seiai academy as part of a Student Exchange."
"Student exchange? I have never heard of such a program." Iida remarked. Izuku nodded, and murmurs from the rest of the student body showed that this was the case for most of them.
"Well, Tenya," Ingenium started, before amending "sorry Iida-kun, most Hero Schools in Japan have a system by which students can be, for lack of a better term, traded. This is usually because a student at each school would benefit from specialized training or resources offered at an institution that they didn't take the entrance exam for. In that case, the schools can ask the student's parents to approve a transfer, in which case the students are essentially swapped 1 for 1. Granted, UA usually can't do this considering how rarely a prospective student would choose not to apply to UA, but this was a serendipitous circumstance." This news brought murmurs of understanding.
"Seiai must offer programs that suit Tooru-chan's invisibility quirk" Asui commented. Yaoyorozu -sensei smiled and nodded in confirmation that this was the reason, mentioning that Seiai was well known for training Heroes in Underground Heroics.
"We should keep in touch with them," Sero suggested. "After all, they may no longer be around, but they are still planning on being Heroes. We might even end up working with them when we graduate."
"An excellent idea, Sero-kun! We will make sure to maintain a strong connection with Koda-kun and Hagakure-san as fellow future Heroes!" Iida replied. The rest of the class all voiced their agreement and began discussing amongst themselves until Ingenium clapped his hands to recapture their attention.
"That brings us to the next major bit of new business that needs to be covered in homeroom today: In light of all of the changes the USJ attacks have caused, the school administration is calling us all to Gym Delta for an assembly."
Setting his helmet down on the desk, Yaoyorozu-sensei walked over to the door. "So, chop-chop, everyone! We have somewhere to be, and time's a-wasting!"
As Class 1-A walked to Gym Delta, Izuku fell into line with Iida and Ochako. While his friends were chatting, he was still puzzling out how he knew of Yaoyorozu-sensei.
'I never knew the Yaoyorozu family members included heroes; they were mostly known as the family that founded that Support Company, Pygmalion Enterprises.'
"What do you suppose the assembly will be about?" Iida asked.
"I don't know. I'm just hoping we get some information on how UA plans to keep us safe. My parents live out in the boonies in Mie Prefecture, so they've been blowing my phone up." Ochako responded, "Any ideas, Deku?"
"Huh?" Izuku said, just realizing his friends had asked him a question. "S-sorry. I was just trying to figure out where I know Yaoyorozu-sensei from."
"Is it maybe from when he worked here in Japan for a little bit?" Ochako offered.
Izuku shook his head. "No, that's not it. I just can't shake the feeling that there is something important about him I'm not remembering. You clearly know him, Iida-kun."
Iida smiled. "Yes! As you may or may not know, the Yaoyorozu family has been a sponsor of Team Idaten for generations. My great-grandfather Iida Tenshiro, the first Hero to bear the name Ingenium, saved Yaoyorozu-san's grandmother Yaoyorozu Mai from a kidnapping when she was an infant. After that, Mai-sama's father vowed to provide monetary support for the Iida clan's heroic work. Thus began a business relationship that has lasted for generations. Plus, Yaoyorozu sensei went to UA at the same time as Tensei Onii-sama. As a result, I've known Yaoyorozu-sensei and Yaoyorozu-san for quite some time."
This last tidbit of information caught Mina's attention, who turned around from her conversation with Sero and Kirishima to learn more.
"Wait, Iida-kun, are you and Yaomomo … childhood friends?" the pink girl asked, the excited tone of her voice going unnoticed by Iida. Behind her, Kirishima smirked and rolled his eyes.
"Yes, is that surprising?" he responded.
Ashido nodded her head vigorously and hurried off to talk to Jirou, squealing about her ship getting ready to sail, whatever that was supposed to mean.
"Uraraka-san, do you know why Ashido-san seemed so interested in Yaoyorozu-san being childhood friends with me?" Iida asked.
Kirishima sighed. "She's playing matchmaker again. She likes theorizing about who each girl should end up dating; Asui with Tokoyami, Jirou with Kaminari, Uraraka with..." Uraraka suddenly sputtered, blushed bright red, and slammed a hand over Kirishima's mouth. A glance at her and a look of recognition flashed over the hardening quirk user's face. Uraraka then sped of to walk with Ashido, Jirou and Asui. Iida gave Izuku a perplexed look, which the verdette returned. 'Girls are confusing.' Izuku sighed.
A few minutes later at Gym Delta, Class 1-A arrived to see Class 1-B already there waiting with their teacher Vlad King. Izuku noted that the other class was missing two students as well, just as Ingenium and Alchemax said.
"Hey Vlad-senpai! I see you made it here first." Alchemax said as they got close.
The Blood hero turned and smiled. "Hey! Good to see you remembered how to get here. Just getting my students ready for the presentation."
Suddenly, a blonde boy who had been standing with the rest of Class 1-B ran up and pointed, a smug smirk on his face. "What's this? Class 1-A is late to a meeting with a principal? How embarrassing!" the blonde boy crowed.
Jirou grimaced. "Ugh, this guy is here?"
"And you also lost three members of your class! Guess they were just too weak willed to -" the blond boy continued to mock, before being abruptly cut off by a hand coming down to karate chop him in the neck. He immediately slumped to the ground like a puppet with its strings cut.
"Sorry about that, Class 1-A. Monoma can be a bit of a handful. I'm Itsuka Kendo, the Class 1-B representative, by the way." A ginger-haired girl with a side Ponytail said apologetically.
"No kidding. I went to middle school with him, and he was always super annoying. He's like the bagpipes of people." Jirou responded.
"How so?" Sato asked.
"He's loud, arrogant, and always used to act like he was singlehandedly raising the bar in every room he walked into." Jiro responded. "Is he still like that?" she asked Kendo.
"Yeah, unfortunately." the Class 1-B representative sighed.
"A blonde with a superiority complex. I wonder who that reminds me of…" Sato chuckled aloud, as Class 1-A's bomb exploded into roars of expletives and death threats.
"Language, Bakugo-kun. Three strikes and… well you don't want to know what happens." Tensei said lightly.
Bakugo glared at the teacher, before clicking his tongue and walking into the gym. No sooner had he when Izuku heard him screech.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE, OLD HAG!"
This was quickly followed by the sound of a hard smack upside the head and the unmistakable sound of Auntie Mitsuki screaming "WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU CALLING AN OLD HAG YOU LITTLE SHIT!"
Izuku sweatdropped as he and the rest of class 1-A and 1-B followed their teachers into the gym. As he suspected, the gym was filled not only with students from the other courses and upper grades but a wide range of parents. As her loud roar had confirmed, Auntie Mitsuki was currently putting Kacchan in a headlock, while Uncle Masaru was trying to keep the two from fighting. Looking around at the other parents, Izuku saw a man with shoulder-length sandy blonde hair seated next to a woman who looked like an older version of Kyoka with glasses. There was also a woman with frog-like features he assumed to be Tsuyu's mother, a salaryman with bulbous wrists he assumed to be Sero's dad, his mom, and… the Number 2 Hero, Endeavor. The Flame Hero was seated wearing a dark blue business suit rather than his Hero costume, his scowl visible even despite the flames that danced around his face.
'That's right,' Izuku realized, 'Endeavor's real name is Enji Todoroki. He must be related to Todoroki-kun.'
Before he could walk over and request an autograph, Izuku was pulled over by the shoulder by Iida-sensei to sit down with the rest of Class 1-A. The rest of the class let out scattered chuckles at Izuku's fanboy habit. That is, except for Todoroki-kun himself, who seemed to be glaring hatefully at his own father. 'Wonder what that's all about.' Izuku murmured, before taking his seat.
Upon the stage was the rest of the UA staff. Standing on a small scissor lift behind the podium was Principal Nezu. Notably, All Might was missing. That is, his persona as All Might was absent: instead, Toshinori Yagi leaned against the back wall of the gym dressed in a form-fitting suit that emphasized his emaciated figure. A quick glance at Midoriya seemed to communicate to the Ninth user of One for All to avoid bringing attention to the Eighth user if possible.
'This must be a big announcement if Principal Nezu called all of our parents to attend. He must have also told All Might to lay low to prevent any uproar.' Izuku realized. 'Plus, if my research is correct, Endeavor would likely have made a scene if he had been forced to sit in the same room as All Might if he didn't absolutely have to.'
Once everyone in Class 1-A and 1-B was seated, Vlad King, Ingenium, and Alchemax went to join the other teachers up on the stage.
"Good afternoon, students, faculty, and of course parents. Am I a mouse, a bear, a dog? For those of you who are not aware, I am the Principal of UA, Nezu! I have called this assembly to discuss the events of the past few days, and what UA intends to do." The animal principal declared. The principal then performed a deep bow.
"Let me start by humbly apologizing to all the parents of Class 1-A gathered here today. Despite the trust you had placed in both myself and the staff of this institution, your children were put at an unacceptable risk. On Wednesday of last week, a group that called themselves the League of Villains attacked during a rescue training exercise for Class 1-A at a facility that is separate from the main campus of UA. The purpose of the attack, from what we can tell, was to catch All Might, who was scheduled to teach the class that day, off guard and attempt to kill him."
Worried murmurs rippled through the crowd.
As Principal Nezu continued to detail the events of the USJ Incident, Izuku could see all the parents of students who were not in Class 1-A gasp and grow pale upon hearing what had happened. The full debriefing from Eraserhead had revealed just how dangerous the Nomu was. Even Endeavor looked unnerved after hearing how the Nomu had regenerated when its' limbs had been flash-frozen and broken off by Todoroki's ice. Eventually, the animal principal's retelling of the story came to its' conclusion.
"In the end, the League of Villains' attack was fended off by the efforts of the teaching staff, spearheaded by All Might. Unfortunately, this was not without collateral damage; while most of the students and staff were dealt mild wounds at most, the two Pro Hero staff members who were supervising alongside All Might that day were severely harmed in the defense of the 1-A students."
The worried murmurs continued.
"The two injured staff members were given immediate medical attention by our school nurse Recovery Girl alongside the students. While Hirooki-san, also known as the Space Hero Thirteen, was able to make a quick recovery, the other staff member was injured to a level where I, as his employer, felt it was unconscionable to ask him to return to work before fully convalescing. In that teacher's place, I have invited some Alumni of UA, Tensei Iida and Ameya Yaoyorozu, each a Pro Hero in his own right, to return to serve as replacement teachers for the rest of the academic year."
At this, Iida-sensei and Yaoyorozu sensei rose and bowed slightly, which was met with polite applause. Polite that is, except for a sputter of shock from the Number 2 Hero. Making eye contact with Endeavor, Yaoyorozu-sensei gave a small mischievous smile and sat down.
'Endeavor recognized him. Clearly, that's important.' Izuku realized.
"In addition," Nezu continued, "UA will have additional Pro Heroes on campus effective immediately. They will serve not only as additional security for the upcoming Sports Festival, which we still plan on holding, but also will serve as additional staff to help train the students in the skills they will need to protect themselves in the event, as unlikely as we hope it to be, that another attack occurs."
Nezu paused. For the next few minutes, students and parents alike were abuzz about the news. Then, the principal cleared his throat again, the noise soundly suspiciously like the laugh of a certain famous mouse known to wear red pants and yellow shoes.
"That brings us to the second major announcement that UA would like to make before we need to have the students return to their classes for the day."
Suddenly, the animal principal's expression turned less serious.
"In light of the recent events at the USJ, we feel the need to take much more serious steps to protect all the students of UA. As you all may or may not know, UA has several safeguards and barriers set up to prevent a direct assault on the school in case of a Villain attack. In that sense, outside of off-campus facilities like the USJ, UA is likely the safest location in the area, if not the country. Thus, I am invoking a contingency in U.A.'s school charter that allows me to establish a dormitory system and have UA become a boarding school so that students can spend as much time within the safety of our security system."
Worried whispers broke out among both the parents and the student body. Raising his paw to silence the crowd, Nezu continued.
"My dear students, your parents will be leaving with papers explaining the specifics to review. It is mandatory for all students wishing to remain in the UA Hero Course to live in the dorms, as we believe they will be at the greatest risk of being targeted by the people responsible for the attack last week. In addition, there is a plan to build additional housing so that there is enough room for all students from the other courses to stay on campus if they so choose. We are also prepared to open an apartment complex on school grounds for the families of students if enough parties are interested."
Bowing again, Principal Nezu thanked the students and parents for their time and called the assembly to a close. The students were soon ushered away from the gym, and they spent the rest of the school day as normal as one could expect. However, every Hero Course student's mind was on the content of Nezu's speech at the assembly.
Finally, it came time for the last class of the day, Fundamental Heroics. However, instead of All Might bursting into the room as normal, Ingenium and Alchemax simply stood there.
"Alright, you guys, All Might told us during lunch to have everyone in Class 1-A and 1-B head out to meet him over in Training Kitchen Land, or TDL." Ingenium offered. "Everyone grab their gym uniforms; we are going to head out." Ingenium and Alchemax steered the students away from the main building of the school to Gym Gamma, where Izuku saw Class 1-B was also heading to.
As they entered the gym, the students of Class 1-A and 1-B were surprised to see All Might standing there.
"Hahaha! Glad to see everyone made it! I am here, to explain a major change to the Hero Course!"
"Another one?" asked a blonde Class 1-B student who was lipless and had a skull like face.
"Indeed, Young Honenuki! As opposed to your living situation, this change concerns your class structure so the staff saw no reason to hold your parents further." All Might explained. The student, now identified as Honenuki, nodded in understanding.
"As I was saying, since you students will soon be living in dormitories on the UA campus, we saw no reason to keep your classes separate; instead we have united you all into a single large Hero Course class, which will now be called Class H-1, and the second- and third-year Hero courses will similarly be reclassified as Class H-2 and Class H-3 respectively. This kind of change extends to the other course here at UA. The reasoning is simple: The USJ showed us that there is strength in numbers, and any opportunity we can give you all you learn and grow together must be taken."
Bakugo scoffed "As if I need any of these extras to be strong! Any time I spend with them will just be a waste."
"What an asshole." Izuku heard a black-haired boy from Class 1-B with a headband mutter. The rest of Class 1-B, and some members of Class 1-A, nodded in agreement.
All Might sweatdropped, then cleared his throat. "Be that as it may, Young Bakugo, all forty of you will be working with one another, and doing so is mandatory"
A wave of confusion rippled through the crowd, until a Class 1-B student who Izuku couldn't help but feel looked like Iida if he had a Sasquatch quirk, called out "But Sir All Might, you are mistaken; there are but thirty-five Hero students present! Three of the former Class 1-A have left, and similarly Sir Hiryu Rin and Sir Nirengeki Shoda have also departed from UA!"
All Might turned to the student and said "Worry not, Young Shishida, I am here, with an answer! As Class 1-A is aware, there will be a new incoming student from Seiai academy who will be joining the course in Young Hagakure's place. In addition, we the teaching staff have reviewed the tapes from the entrance exams and will be inviting four lucky students who didn't make the initial cut off for the Hero Course to transfer into the Hero Course."
Bakugo scowled. "Wait, some losers from GenEd who fucked up their chances at getting into the Hero Course on their first try get a second chance?" He sneered, "Whatever, just more extras for me to crush on my way to the top."
Before Iida could reprimand him, Ingenium cocked an eyebrow and laughed. "Big talk, Bakugo-kun." He said, "We'll see if you can back it up. For all we know, one of those Gen Ed 'extras' may prove you don't belong here and gets you booted to Gen Ed."
Bakugo's face turned scarlet with rage as he gritted his teeth, his rage at how dismissive this teacher was of his talents clear on his face.
This also caused the gathered students to react in a variety of ways. Some, like Ashido, Sero, and the headband-wearing 1-B student, had quickly lost their minds and descended into laughs at Kacchan getting roasted. Others, like Kaminari, seemed unnerved at the idea that they might end up losing their spot in the Hero Course due to poor performance.
"That brings you all up to speed for the most part on the changes you will be seeing at UA and should allow us to make our last announcement before you all head home today. In about six weeks will be the U.A. Sports Festival." Vlad-sensei grinned.
"For those of you who might not know, the U.A. Sports festival is a major event for 1st-year students, as it is a major debut and the first exposure many of you will receive to Pro Heroes. In fact, it is a well-known fact that the number of offers you will receive for your 1st-year internships are strongly correlated to how well you do in the Sports festival." Alchemax-sensei added. "Therefore, we will be spending as much time in the coming weeks during your Fundamental Heroics class giving you all the training needed so each of you can put forth your personal best. With the help of All Might, Vlad King, Ingenium, and myself, alongside our fifth teacher for this newly formed Class H-1, you will be well on your way to becoming fine Heroes."
"Now then, we know you will all be busy having deep discussions with your parents about this whole dorm situation this evening, so we are going to let you all go now. Have a good afternoon, and we will see you all bright and early tomorrow!"
