As I walked down the dark hallway, it seemed like time itself had frozen, not a sound to be heard. And yet, in the darkened house, the only light to be seen was through a door. Curiosity drove me to go, I had been home alone for the night, and yet. The light was on, It was blinding but just so compelling. I twisted the knob, and a flash left me blacked out and unconscious.

Hello? Hello? You okay?"A male voice appeared from before me, Everything was still dark and fuzzy. It took a minute for my vision to return seeing something familiar in front of me.

"Oh, thank goodness you're alright, there was a hurricane last night and we were checking the area as a Rescue Team to find anyone in need!"

I was confused, what were these...things, where was I, who was I? It just didn't make any sense, so I just stayed silent.

"You okay?" They asked again with a female voice coming near.

"Did you find anyone?"

"Yeah, although I'm not sure if they can talk"

"W-who are you" I tried standing, now looking towards my surroundings"Where am I?"

"Well, this is the Sparkling Beach, you must have washed up here because I haven't seen you before"

"I guess that explains one thing...But I can't remember anything else..."

"Not even your name?"

"No...not one thing"

"That's quite unfortunate, maybe we could take you to see Wigglytuff and see what they say?"

"Possibly, for now just follow us"

"Oh wait, we haven't introduced ourselves!" The female said surprised" I'm Sylveon, but you can just call me Sylvie"

"That's a good point, I'm Ribombee, but you can call me Dragon's End"

"He's kidding, actually his name is Akari"

"It's strange...but I feel like I've heard the names Ribombee and Sylveon before," I thought to myself looking puzzled

"Something up?"

"N-no it's nothing...Just feeling...Like I've heard that before..."

"Well, hopefully, your memory will return soon enough."

"Thanks...I don't know what to do..."I said with a sigh looking at my reflection from the crystal clear ocean" Who...Who am I?"I asked myself looking worried. I had now been some kind of white creature, with nine small tails and a small body.

"Well it looks like you're an Alolan Vulpix, maybe you came from the Alola Region?"

I stared at them confused

"Then again, it's hard to tell, we'll have to wait until someone reports you missing or until you regain your memory" Akari had explained.

"I guess that makes sense..."

We began to head towards some kind of oddly shaped, yet familiar-looking building, passing through the town with everyone looking in my direction. Had I done something wrong before Blacking out? Was I in trouble? Had it been a trap?

"How come everyone keeps looking over here?"

"Well, you probably didn't know, but we're part of a big Rescue team called, Team Fairy, once you evolve you might be able to join, yourself" Sylvie explained

"Evolve? You mean I'm not good enough?"

"Oh no! It's not like that at all! You see, Pokémon tend to go through a physical transformation after reaching specific conditions, from there they can change type, strengths, size, and Shape"

"What's...A Pokémon?" I was still very confused, everyone seemed strangely new, yet old at the same time.

"You've lost your memory...I don't know what to say..." she looked to me in disbelief, had I done something wrong? I didn't think I did, but I can't remember if it was something before or after I blacked out.

"It's okay, we can figure it out with Wigglytuff," Akari said looking up the hill"Just keep up, we're almost there"

All I can say after that is the walk was peaceful as well as the view...Well, it was petrifying. Even so, It still felt tranquil, so it wasn't all bad.

"Alright, this is it, Wigglytuff Guild, soon we can try and get you back home," Akari said to be looking up at the large, oddly shaped building. It was pink and strangely round as well as being larger up close. and yet, everything was still so familiar...

Akari hovered over a large hole with a sturdy iron gate separating the surface from the underground as a voice emerged from the gaping hole

"Ribombee Footprint! Welcome back Akari, How was the mission?"

"It was a success, only one Pokémon washed up on the beach, It doesn't seem like they have any memory though"

"That's quite unfortunate, if they're with you they can go on over"Doing as they said, I traveled across the gate looking down at some kind of three-headed creature, It seemed to be in the ground with dirt collecting around its sides.

" Welcome to the guild, Kiddo, got a name?"

"I don't remember...Sorry"

"Hey, It ain't your fault, just keep your chin high and go onwards, good luck, kiddo"

"Thanks" It was quite nice, even though I didn't have any memory, everyone just seemed so kind to me, maybe the rescue team is good to all, I might even join.

Next up was Sylvie, she gracefully walked over the gate pausing for just a moment

"Sylveon's Footprint! Welcome back Sylvie, you two take the kiddo to meet Wigglytuff, they'll know what to do!"

"We're hoping so, although that Hurricane last night left as quickly as it started, only a few houses were destroyed and fewer were badly injured, I guess that's why only Vulpix was on the beach"

"Well, It looks like everyone else is on missions, you're the first to come back"

"Well, to be honest, we were given the easiest job, Everyone else is either exploring a Mystery dungeon for a mission or helping to rebuild houses"

"Well that's a good point, anyways go on through"

"Alright, see you later, Terra"

We then heading inside seeing, it was quite spacious on the inside and the outside with there being a basement floor as well as a second one. As Terra had said, everyone was gone, the place was quiet and life-lacking

"It's just up on the second floor"

I nodded starting to climb up the ladder upwards, surprisingly easier than expected.

"Wigglytuff, the mission was successful! There was only one Pokémon who washed up" Sylvie said gesturing towards me as I nervously backed away, With its puffy exterior, I still felt intimidated by their presence as he glanced towards me for a second.

"Good work, It seems like they came from the Alola Region, do they have a name?"

"Not yet, they appear to amnesia, a pretty severe case, they don't know what a Pokémon is"

"That does sound pretty bad, but until we have more information he can stay here, although we should at least give him a name until he remembers his own."

I wasn't particularly paying attention, All I knew is that they were talking about me, that is until my nose tingled and I ended up sneezing with ice coming from my mouth and freezing a small portion of the floor as I slipped and fell over unable to keep my balance

"How about, Aurora?" Sylvie suggested It seems like she was the creative sort, able to come up with names and unique designs.

"Sounds fine to me"

"What do you think about the name Aurora?" Sylvie asked me helping me keep my balance and lifting me from the frozen flooring

"Well...since it's just until I get my memory, It should work," I said not having any complaints, It sounded like a good name, so I didn't mind much.

"So it's settled, welcome to the guild, Aurora!" Wigglytuff had said kindly."How would you like to join a rescue team? It might help you regain your memories"

"It sounds like fun, then again until I can remember who I am and where I came from I don't have anywhere to go...I should give it a try" I thought to myself looking slightly confident in my choice"I'll try my best"

"Great, We got a recruit earlier today, so you'll be with her, It's a Fennekin named Scarlet" Wigglytuff then pressed down on a button and beginning to speak on a microphone"Will Scarlet please come up to the second floor, again Scarlet please come up to the second floor."

Soon a small yellow and red Pokémon came climbing up the ladder to see Wigglytuff

"I'm here, is there a mission?" She asked then looking towards Sylvie and Akari"Oh my stars, you're part of Team Fairy!"She seemed starstruck, perhaps a fan? Either that or they had been her role model.

"Yep, that's us! Anyways Wigglytuff wants to talk to you"

"O-oh right, I got a little distracted"

"Anyways, Scarlet, this is Aurora, He'll be part of your team"

"My first partner! It's so nice to meet you, What's your favorite color? Favorite food? Best friends? Favorite Rescue team?" She asked questions after questions as all I could do is stand there looking awkward.

"I-I..."

"I'd suggest that you take it down a couple of notches, he washed up on the beach and lost his memory"

"Oops, sorry I got a little carried away, it's nice to meet you, Aurora"

"It's nice to meet you as well," I said with a small smile.

"Now for your team bandana and toolbox", Wigglytuff pulled out two bandanas and a satchel with a short strap that held numerous berries and other miscellaneous items. One bandana was red, orange, and yellow, likely to represent fire, the other one was white and light blue likely to represent ice with a snowflake pattern on the front with the other having a pattern of fire on its front.

" Sylvie designed these herself"Akari informed them as she used her ribbons to lightly tie the white one around my neck then doing the same with the red one around Fennekin's neck.

"Thank you so much! I love it!" Scarlet said first

"Thank you, you've all been so kind, even though I don't know you, and you don't know me"

"Hey, We're all Pokémon, we've gotta stick together, right?"
