It was now November meanijg Thanksgiving was approaching, which their family loved, only Deadly missed Halloween wanting everyday to be his favourite holiday, until he had a nightmare about what that would be like so was okay with that, and Loki wasn't a fan of this upcomijg holiday, after Kaley had exolained about it to him, Daphne and Syvie which the crown-princess understood, bewildered seeihg Casey and Crystal had suitcases, thinkijg they were running away, which made both females giggle.
"No we're not runnijg away, our families want us to visit them, for Thanksgiving, uncle Rockie and Auht Lylla want Casey tonvisit them like my mom and uncle Dugli aant me home." Crystal said seeing Casey nod wearijg an Avengers themed beanie hat on her head, knowing New York was as cold as Norway this time of year, wearijg her Hufflepuff scarf around her furry little neck, seeing Crystal opening the portal to the human-world, hugging her cousin, before she and Casey went through.
Kaley sighed after the portal closed, unaware her dads and Loki had been warching, guessing she had no clue that was happening, knowing there would be things here to distract her, knowing from Loki that his Asgardian grandparents would be visiting them, and Loki had told them about Kaley besides telling Deadly his grandfather was a talkijg boar that was a literal party animal but his grandmother was a frost giantess that could change her size, seeing Kaley's eyes widen in awe, at her brother's descriptions wondering if they would like her.
"Of course they will, I told them about you." Loki assured her.
"Okay Lo-Lo, I trust you." she replied.
She saw Deadly wrapping what looked like an egg in a blanket, making her curious, especially hearing him say, he was goijg to the Dragon City, that was where her friend, Jessica Atovca the crown-princess lived with her mother, Queen Patovca and her variant sister Dandy guessing Jessica might tell her lafter, if she visited seeing Moki wearing a chef hat which looked adorable on him guessing he had been trying to get into the kitchens.
She took a photo of said dragon-gator on her phone decidihg to send it to Crystal via WhatsApp even if the service between worlds was unreliable hoping she and Casey were okay, texting Crystal about what Deadly had been doing with a dragon egg seeing Daphne hug her askijg her if everything was alright, seeing her noddijg, seeing her dragging her outside ijto the snow seeing Dreadly was here which made Kaley perk up seeing her Parisian cousin, which made her twin-sisters exchange a smirk.
Kaley had fallen in love with Paris and it's culture, especially Marie Antionette which Dreadly knew, as Deadly being her uNile, had told her this which made a smirk cross her light-blue skinned face hidden under her phantom mask, knowing Thanksgiving could be fun wondering where Crystal and her little friend were,mwhich made Kaley sigh, which Daphne caught guessing this was why Kaley was a little sad.
"They'll return after Thanksgiving, mon ami." Dreadly told her.
Harmony and Melody were relieved their sister was feeling better, plus Dreadly beijg French that might distract her, until Crystal returned seeing Darci there, telling them they had to come inside, because it was getting too cold, so the kids were doing that seeing Deadly chuckle along with Bentley at what they'd been doing, knowing being half frost-giant, Kaley could handle the cold tellijg her, a certain snow-queen had been here.
"Is that why you let them play in the snow so long?" Dudley asked seeing Deadly nod at his twin-brother.
"Yes wr were discussing thijgs, plus Elsa says hi." Deadly whispered to Kaley which made her smile.
That evening, Daphne was up in the kitchen, makijg herself but also Kaley hot chocolate, as the light-green furred and haired girl was helping relax her queen but knew Thanksgiving should be fun, finding cake putting it onto plates, realising it was fruitcake knowing their family recieved the delicact every year, they just weren't afraid of it like some humans were which always made Crystal and Kaley wonder about that remembering her dad saying, it was a mystery that could not be soloved
"Thanks Daphne, as there's too much excitement goijg on, plus I can hear Dreadly and my dad in the tbrine-room, they're probably doijg phantom stuff." Kaley said to her drinkijg up, enjoying being with her right now, it was makijg her feel peaceful hopijg her Asgardian grandparents would be nice, remembering what Loki had told her, hearing soft manical laughter, seeing Daphne want to see what was goijg on, seeing Kaley stop her, saying to leave her dad and Dreadly be.
"Sarah will probably be mad at them, whatever awesome thing they were doijg, we don't want to get in trouble." Kaley said.
Later that morning though, the family saw a tired Deadly in dark-green robes which had the emblem of a serpent which made Kaley realise that was why she'd heard broomsticks from the tbrine-room, seeing her dad nodding, and telling her that Dreadly was asleep while he drank strong coffee, amazing her, hearing Dreadly went to a magic school in Paris.
