We look at the house after Gio has parked the car on the driveway, and held the door open so we could step outside. That is one long driveway I tell you, I bet that twenty cars can be easily parked here.

"The house is beautiful, sir."
"Indeed it is, Gio, we'll be back soon, wait here."

Gio nods and sits back in the car to wait. I am still looking at the house in awe. It has almost a Greek godlike style, with white plaster and pillars. It is almost like a palace. I look at Johnny who is looking at the house as well with a smile.

"What do you think?"
"I think it's really beautiful."
"I think I need to get used to this, it's almost as big as a palace."

He chuckles about it as he looks at my face. I take his hand. He takes a deep breath while he is still smiling.

"It is only two houses further from your grandparents."
"Amazing, isn't it? We can visit them all the time if we want, or they can come here to watch the children."

He chuckles about it, I do like that thought, especially as we are close to my family.

"Did he told you how much the owner asks for the house?"
"The asking price is seventeen million, but the owners are willing to go down a few millions, the house is on sale for a year now, and people don't seem to be interested."

I think as I look at the house again. If we would buy this house, we will need to hire staff. This will be too big to clean myself, I am sure I can get lost in there. I guess we have to live like billionaires when we buy this place. And I am very interested nonetheless, because it is also at the seaside, which means it probably has its own private beach as well. I see someone coming out of the house, he walks to us. Johnny has seen him too.

"Hi, I'm Anton, the one who phoned you about the house."
"Hi, I'm Johnny, and this is my girlfriend Frances."

Anton looks at me with a smile and extend his hand.

"Frances Houseman, it's a big pleasure to meet you, I heard so much about you."
"It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Anton."
"So, what do you think of the outside?"

He turns a little and we all look at the house again.

"It's beautiful, like a palace."
"I agree, it's a shame that none of the viewers really had any interest in buying."
"Maybe because it costs millions?"
"You've got a good point there, miss Houseman."

Johnny chuckles about it. Anton smiles as he looks at me. Of course people only came to have a viewing, I bet many are just curious about the inside, but are not able to buy it. People will always be curious about these sort of houses, or real palaces and castles for that matter.

"Are you both able to buy this?"
"We're both billionaires, so don't worry about it."
"And we both will each be paying half of the price."

I think Anton got a little surprised there, I could see it on his face. We do not look like billionaires, so many people will always be looking surprised when they discover that we actually are billionaires. BUt now I am curious about the inside of the house.

"Are you ready to go inside?"
"I hope I won't get lost in there."

Anton chuckles about my remark as we follow him to the front door.

"I think you'll find the house pretty easy in architecture, it has eight bedrooms, of which one is at the back of the house. Ideal for the summer days."

He says with a wink. Well, that got me just even more curious. It is a nice thought to wake up and see the sea every day. That is why I always loved to go to my grandparents so much, I really love it there.

"Does it have a private beach?"
"Yes, and a big pool, a hot tub and a sauna in the garden. It's like a mini spa."
"Sounds good."
"You'll love it."

Johnny did not say a word as we walk inside, but he stops in the doorway to look around. I turn and look at him, I see him smiling as he looks around in the hallway. I start to smile as I recognize that expression immediately.

"Feeling at home?"

He looks at me and came closer, holding both his hands up. I take them and he leans in to give me a kiss. I smile as I keep looking at his face.

"Is it strange when I say that I got the same feeling as when I stepped inside your grandparents house?"
"No, it's not strange, it's a good feeling, it's a sign."
"You got the same feeling?"
"Not like you just did, but it does feel really good when I stand inside the house."

I look around as I turn. This hallway is amazing. Really huge too, but that is not the point. I see two stairways going up to the first floor. They are curved, you know, like in a palace. The floor is made from marble, same for the stairways too.

"I'm really interested, but won't buy it if you don't want to, Baby."

I turn back to him with a smile. I can see he is really wants this house, and to be honest, dear reader, I secretly want this house as well, but I need to be the more realistic one and first check this house out totally. I am so curious about the garden.

"Let's see the rest first."

Anton is watching us with a smile. Johnny nods and gives me a kiss. I look at Anton who is standing near a door.

"The living room is this way."

We went into the living room, and I gasp a little, it for sure is beautiful, and fancy with all the marble, but it feels so warm. Johnny is smiling as he looks around. I can see our children playing and running around in here every evening.

"This room is connected to the dining room, which is also connected to the kitchen."
"What's on the other side?"
"I don't know if you love reading, but at the other side is a big library and study, it is connected to the parlor in the back, and that is connected to the kitchen as well."
"So the kitchen lays in the center at the back of the house?"
"Yes, miss, and just like the parlor, the kitchen has also big double doors to go outside."
"What about that bedroom?"
"It's behind the dining room, but you only can enter the via the terrace outside."

Interesting, so that can be our summer getaway bedroom where no one will be bothering us? Hmm, very interesting indeed. I look at Johnny and bite my lip. He sees my face and chuckles a little.

"I want to see the library and study."
"If you want to follow me."

We followed Anton to the door at the other side of the hallway. When he opens it, I step inside with Johnny behind me, and I look around. Wow, I guess I just got a feeling like Johnny did when he stood in the doorway from the front door. I see all the empty shelves, they look so authentic, like an old library from those period drama movies, if you get what I mean. They are screaming to be filled with books again. Then I see a big desk and went to have a closer look at it. Johnny puts his hands in his pockets as he is watching me. Yes, this is going to be my office at home.

"I want this room to be my office at home."
"Then it will be all yours, Baby."
"You don't want an office at home?"
"No, maybe by the time I take over from dad, but not now, and you clearly love the room."
"I really do, I think I can work here nice and quietly, or get some rest and read a book. I will fill all those shelves with time."

Johnny chuckles about my enthusiasm for this room. A library at home, just like the old days, it was a child's wish of mine, and one that is coming true. I giggle as I made a twirl. Yes, I know, do not judge me, sometimes I am a little girl, but this room is making me so. I am sure you would love this room as well, reader. Johnny chuckles as he is watching me. Then I turn and see a door, as curious as I am, I point at it.

"Is that the door to the parlor?"
"Yes, miss, let's have a look."

We follow Anton into the parlor and look around. I smile as I feel how cozy this room is. This is a good room to receive guests, and have a nice after dinner drink. Gosh, I am turning into the typical billionaire with throwing dinner parties and after dinner drinks and the like, but this room is a sight to share with many people. It has a fire place too, I am thinking about Christmas, with a tree in here, the fire place burning, Johnny and I sitting in front of it on soft pillows and blankets. Johnny chuckles, and I look at him, I guess he can see what I am thinking for he leans in and gives me such a soft and loving kiss.

I look at the big double door and went to have a look outside. My god, this view is really beautiful. When I turn, I see the two watching me, I smile as I see another door. Anton looks at it and went to it to op it for us.

"This is the way to the kitchen."
"Is there a direct door to the kitchen from the hallway?"
"Yes, sir, I'll show you the door in a bit."

Johnny nods and came to me, he lays his arms around me and looks outside as well with a smile.

"Look at the beautiful view, I can wake up every day seeing that."
"I want this house, Baby."

He whispers, his mouth near my ear, then I feel his lips right behind it, giving me a loving kiss. I close my eyes to I savour this moment as I take a deep breath. Then I turn to look at him, he is smiling his special smile. I lay my hand on his cheek as I smile as well. Yes, I can see us growing old together in this house.

"Let's see the kitchen."

Johnny nods and let me go. Anton guides us into the kitchen, it is a modern kitchen with a huge island, it is not fully white or black which I am glad about. I think a kitchen needs to feel warm as well, like people are actually living in there. I am happy to see that the look of the kitchen feels authentic, more like in a country house, it feels welcome and comforting though it looks like it is a brand new kitchen. All new appliances you could imagine are in this kitchen.

"The kitchen has been renovated last year. Everything is new in here, and every appliance you can imagine is present. The old owner used to be in the kitchen most of the times, it was his favorite room in the house."
"I can imagine why, it feels so warm."
"And the view is amazing from here too."

I look at Johnny who is looking outside the window from the double door. Anton smiles, but I think it is more that he knows he will have sold this house to us at the end of the tour. He turns and opens a door, we turn to look at it.

"This door leads to the dining room."

Johnny went to have a look in the room while I keep looking around in the kitchen while I lay my hands on the kitchen counter from the island. The two came back into the kitchen, Anton closing the door behind Johnny. Johnny watches him goin to another door and he became curious.

"You see this door, Mr. Castle?"

Johnny only nods when Anton opens it.

"This is the door to the hallway."
"Nice."

Anton closes it again and went to a door at the right side of the door to the hallway. Upon opening, we look into the room.

"This is the pantry, the house has a separate laundry room on the first floor. It does not look convenient at first, but you'll eventually see how handy that is. I'm guessing you're going to hire people as well?"
"Of course, the house is too big for us to clean by ourselves."

Johnny chuckles, Anton smiles about the witty remark. He closes the door to the pantry and went to the other side of the door to the hallway. There are so many doors leading to the kitchen, like it is the center point of the house, but I guess we will be spending a lot of time in here for it is a sublime space.

"The house has a second floor, which is for the staff, the have their own bathroom and kitchen up there as well, but they have only one way to go up there."
"Really? there is a servant stairway in this house?"
"Yes, sir, it is right behind this door."

I would not call it a servant stairway, but it is how people back in the days used to call it, and I guess it got so custom that it is still being called like that, just like most rich people still caal their employees servants. I want to be good to my employees, just like my grandparents. Anton opens the door, and we look at the circular stair that is going up, it is neatly hidden. I see another door at the other side.

"What about that door there?"
"That one leads to the hallway."

I nod at him as I turn to look at Johnny who is looking at the stairway up. I guess he is curious about the second floor, but I think that is something we can discover later. I want to see the bedroom back here first, it still has my curiosity. I guess Anton has seen my face as he closes the door, and leads us to the double door outside.

"I'll show you the bedroom here."

We step outside and I take a deep breath, the air from the sea, it smells so good. I close my eyes for a moment as I enjoy this moment very much. Johnny is looking at the pool with a smile. It is a very big pool.

"It's a big pool."
"It is indeed, sir, and there's the hot tub."

Anton point at the circular made tub that is attahed to the swimming pool. You can sit in there with ten people or so. I watch Anton to go a door at the very back, Johnny follows him.

"This is the sauna, this is the only door to it. This other door here."

He points at the other door. I look at it and became curious. This must be the door to the bedroom he was talking so much about.

"This is the only door that leads to the bedroom, from what I understood this bedroom was only used in springs and summers. The other side is fell windows, to have a view at the sea."

I open the door and step inside. I look around and then see the view Anton just was talking about.

"Wow."

Johnny came inside and looks around. There is a big round bed in the middle of the room. At the right side is a mini-bar, and at the left side an opening. Johnny went to have a look and sees it's a doorway to the bathroom. I just keep looking at the view, it is mesmerizing. I do think we will have many nights in this room, and besides the library, it is already becoming my next favorite room. We have not even bought the place yet, but I am daydreaming a lot now.

"You'll be getting the bed, and the mini-bar if you buy the house because they're specifically build for this room, and the owner told me he did not was to dissatisfy the new owner by taking it away, for he had spent many days and nights in this room."
"I can imagine that."
"It looks like many parties were held in this room as well."
"Indeed, sir, I think they did held parties in here at times, but you can do whatever you want with it of course."
"I love the view."

I whisper as Johnny came closer to me, he lays his arms around me while he stands behind me, and he smiles as he looks at the view. I lay my hands on his arms, and my head against his chest, enjoying his cuddles so very much.

"This room has its own bathroom."

He whispers, I smile as I lift and turn my head to look at him. He looks in my eyes and gives me a sweet kiss.

"I can see us sleeping in here many times."
"This will be our summer bedroom."
"I love the sound of that."

Anton is watching us for a moment, and then he looks at the time, we are in here for quite some time now. Then he clears his throat to make us look at him.

"I can see you're truly loving this room."
"We do, Anton."
"I'm really glad you're loving the house so far, but you haven't seen the first floor yet."
"Let's have a look, shall we?"

And with that we follow Anton outside the room, back into the house, through the kitchen into the hallway and up the stairs. How convenient that door truly is. On the first floor there are seven bedrooms, two bathrooms, the master bedroom has its own bathroom as well, so that means that there are two big family bathrooms for the other rooms. I smile as I look around in the master bedroom, yes, I want Johnny's bed in this room. The windows have the view on the garden and the sea, which is good because I love to sleep at the back of the house, I always have. I know I am weird.

The bedroom also has access to the roof terrace, which is right above the kitchen and the parlor. I see a stairway at the side of the house that leads down from the roof terrace onto the terrace in the garden. That is convenient indeed, and obviously also a shortcut when you think of it. This house is more and more becoming the house I always have been wanting to have.

When we walk back to the stairs to go back down. Anton stops at the first door in the hallway. He opens it with a smile.

"This is the laundry room. See how convenient this is? It has been build so that you can put your filthy clothes through that hatch in the wall there, and they will fall into the baskets here, so that the staff doesn't have to go around picking up clothes from everywhere."
"That is convenient indeed."

I look at the hatch, Johnny opens it as he smiles. I see there is space for two washing machines and dryers too. I see a built in the wall table, I guess that is for ironing and folding the clothes. Then I see a door.

"What about that door?"

Anton turns to see me pointing at the door. He smiles and went to open it. I can see the circular stairway, that is brilliant, there has been put a lot of thought in building this house, I can tell you that much. Everything is so easy to reach, not only for us, but also for the staff, and I thought I would be getting lost in this house. Johnny looks into the stairway again, and he looks up, he is really curious about the second floor.

"Is there an attic too?"
"There is, sir, but it's not a big one, and it's only accessible via the second floor."
"I would like to see the second floor."
"You'll be the first one wanting to see that, sir."
"Can we?"
"Of course."

I follow Johnny up the stairs, I do not really like circular stairs, but this one does feel safe. When we arrive at the second floor I smile as I look around. The stair actually enters the little kitchen the staff will be having. I can see this kitchen as been renovated as well. I want the staff to feel at home when they live here, so I will be making sure that they will have nothing short of what they need.

Johnny opens the first door and sees the bathroom, I look inside and see it has been renovated as well.

"A good thing to know that everything is already renewed here."

I nod at that as I look at him, I can see that he cares about this a lot. I guess because of his father's house, I know they have a servant stairway there as well, though I have not seen the staff floor there, but I guess Johnny had spent many times up there. I follow him as he checks the bedrooms out. It looks like a big apartment up here. Anton is still standing near the stair, I guess he has not been up here before and maybe he does not even care, but we care, and that is what matters.

Johnny sees the hatch to the attic, he sees the cord and takes it to pull at it. With a little creak, a ladder comes down, opening up the doorway to the attic. Hmm, I guess it has not been much of use. I let Johnny go up as I wait for him to come back down. After several minutes he came back down and I look at his face.

"A lot of dust up there, but it is big enough to store stuff like the Christmas stuff and such."
"Is that why you wanted to check it out?"
"I was just curious."

I giggle and give him a kiss. He pushes the ladder back up and we turn to look at Anton. We have not even seen the two garages, but I guess they are also very spacious, and we have not went down the stairs to the private beach either, and I cannot wait for that when we buy the house.

I look at Johnny and I see him smiling. I take his hand and he looks at me. He inhales deeply and gives me a kiss. I think he is truly in love with the house.

"If you need time to think about buying the place, take your time, there are not many people who are really interested."
"I don't think we need time to think, Anton. We love the house, but I want to start with an offer of fifteen million, if that's possible?"
"That's possible. Do you agree with your boyfriend, miss Houseman?"
"Yes, I most certainly do. I think fifteen million is a good price for the house."
"Great, I'll be going back to the office to contact the owner, I'll get back to you with his answer. I'm happy you both love the house so much."

Johnny extends his hand to Anton who shakes it with a big smile. I shake hands with Anton as well. Then we descent the stairway and went through the hallway back outside, where Gio sees us coming, making him to step out.

After a final goodbye to Anton, we turn and went to the car. Gio opens the door for us.

"Can I ask you about the house?"
"Of course, Gio, we've made an offer, the house is truly amazing inside and out."
"Congratulations, sir."
"Congratulate me when the offer is accepted."

Gio smiles and nods, we step in the car, and Gio drives back to Johnny's apartment as I am tired from the viewing now.
