It was New Year's Eve meaning 2021 was coming to an end which made the Pimperton family excited yet cautious just in case Dr Corona, her sister Delta and their pet, Omi wrecked things or adventures they planned, Crystal was happy that Jessica was out of hospital and recovering, only Casey was acting strange, unaware she had found an new friend, she was a black-furred raccoon female who had a white markings, white stripes on her tail but had a white furred tummy with big brown eyes full of wonder, love and curiousity but was a symbiote who Casey's uncle had made for her because she'd missed Crystal, plus had named her Rose only she'd followed her Casey to the Labyrinth where the superheroic female kit spent her days in awe at the snow-covered forests but Casey had led her to the castle she resided in which made Rose in awe, her imagination running wild.

"Are you a princess as well too." she asked Casey.

"Nope I just live here with my vest friend, Crystal and her family, they're gonna love you like I do." Casey replied nuzzling Rose's cheek with her nose making her feel better as they snuck into Casey's room through her window impressing Rose hugging her just as Kaley entered, her eyes wide in awe at Casey's friend.

"It's alright, it's just Kaley, she's the crown princess." Casey told her.

"Awww who's this, she's a symbiote, right." Kaley said bending down.

"This is Rose and uncle Rockie gave her to me, as I was missing you guys, she's vegan so don't worry, she's shy but she likes I live here most of the time." Casey told her.

Kaley explained herself to Rose along with the Labyrinth making the black-furred raccoon female in awe making her grin as she was hungry which she got leading them to the dining room seeing them sit down seeing Crystal in awe, finding Casey and Rose adorable together, seeing Rose dousing pancakes in chocolate syrup making Casey giggle helping just as Bentley and Deadly walked in, curious about the friend with Casey as she explained, while handing Rose napkins, remembering royal manners from what Kaley had taught her when she'd did this when she'd first came here.

"Mmm your castle is awesome, thank you for taking care of my Casey." Rose said.

"Awww so sweet, you know." Deadly said to Bentley.

He understood but was letting Rose stay which made Casey happy hugging her which Kaley understood knowing all about symbiotes, and was teaching Crystal about them after she noticed Rose was one but she was vegan, guessing Casey would want to be with her during the party, as Deadly had made formal wear for them for things like tonight.

"Awww you should make an outfit for Rose." Deadly said to Dudley seeing him nod.

Normally Casey stayed in her room during the New Year's party but with Rose here, it would be better grinning at Rose seeing Dudley wanting to give her a fitting feeling Casey squeeze her black-furred paw which made her feel better and was following her into his studio hearing him asking Rose questions, makijg her feel nervous.

"Dudley is friendly and awesome at makijg outfits." Casey reassured.

"Alright, I trust you." Rose said softly.

It was early evening and the Pimperton family were getting ready for the party but Casey was impressed seeing Rose in her dress that Dudley had made herwhich was black matching her fur with rose patterns on it with black leggings wearing a rose hairband to keep her spiky banged hair from her eyes, if she wanted to dance seeing Rose grin at her seeing her in armour asking if she was going to the party seeing her nod in reply seeing Dudley had made her an outfit changing into it impressing Rose along with Crystal going to the ballroom where the party was making Rose anxious at the crowds feeling Casey squeeze her paw reassuring her it would be okay which Daphne and Kaley along with Loki and Syvie thought cute.

They heard rumbling seeing giant hanging vines, making Casey exchange a look with Crystal knowing it was Moonie, Casey's twin sister who had nature magic seeing Rose in awe entering Crystal's room which looked like an indoor forest seeing Moonie in the centre, listening to music guessing she was annoyed or not happy because her emotions were linked to her powers like Casey with hers which Casey explained to Rose.

"Wait, vines showed up in the ballroom butI'm here." Moonie said confused

Crystal saw her lookijg at Rose wondering about her, seeing Casey quiet about that hearing Crystal say that she needed tocalm down seeing the female-kit relaxing relieving them and Rose curious especially seeing a rosebush.

"Yeah roses for Rose, that makes sense." Casey told her.

"Rose is your sister's new friend but sweet." Crystal told Moonie.

"I can see that, Crystal but that's a goodthing." Moonie told her snatching the rose from Rose's paw confusing Casey, hugging Rose surprising Crystal at her furry friend's behaviour guessing she was protective Of Casey sensing Rose would not hurt Casey getting an idea, knowing Rose loved that rosebush.

She then took some of the roses making a boquet, putting them in a vase in Casey's room knowing Rose would love it as a welcome gift.
