"Dad, you sure it's a good idea for Loki to be living here, he may be Kaley's big brother however he might be a bad influence on her like teaching her new magic." April told Deadly while helping him put the new recruits for the royal guard through their paces, she was the fearless captain of the guards.
"He may be a tad quirky, but he's family to Kaley just like you, just give him a chance, oh man the first of May where goblins along with fairies play playful mischief on humans, which Crystal told me about." Deadly told her seeing the scarlet-furred and braided warrior goblin female roll her eyes.
"King Deadly, you're needed in the throne-room." a servant told him.
"I'm coming, remember what we talked about." he told April.
She sighed wondering what her dad was needed for, guessing it was king stuff unaware Crystal and Kaley were watching, impressed by April's leadership skills only Kaley sensed that April and Loki didn't get alomg, but did in fromt of her making Crystal guess that was why Loki was upset this morning at breakfast.
"Yeah, he got caught in a snare outside his door, Dad had to get him out of it, he promised Lo-Lo he'd talk to April." Kaley told her heading to the throne-room hearing her dad annoyed and cursing making her wonder, if he was alright seeing Dudley, Jareth and Loki there, saying a kid had been wished-away when he was ready for May Mayhem.
"I can do it if you want, Deadly." Jareth told Deadly.
"No, I'm the king, it's part of the job." he told Jareth.
Loki then had an idea, turning into Deadly leaving to have mischief for Deadly, making Kaley grin knowing he'd tell her dad everything, when he got back seeing April relieved that Loki wasn't there.
"He's helping dad out with a problem, also you weren't nice to Lo-Lo this morning with that trap." Kaley told her stunning April goijg to the library, her safe-space feeling upset but reading made her happier unaware Sarah was there sensing she was upset about something.
"Just Loki, I don't get what Mikayla and daddy think is so great about him." she admitted making her understand that she was jealous of Loki making April surprised as being a warrior-queen of her Labyrinth, she'd forgotten about that stuff so guessed she was right needing to talk to Loki, when he returned.
"Lo-Lo April really, really wants to talk to you, it's important." Crystal told Loki as it was later that afternoon and Loki had returned to the Labyrinth only Crystal had told him that Kaley was in danger making him run to the library, seeing a kaju and Kaley was in it's claws.
"Don't worry Kaley, I'm coming, that kaju is goat meat." Loki said to her seeing April agree as they combined their efforts seeing the kaju release Kaley as both April and Loki checked her for injuries hearing the kaju chuckle, turning back into Deadly surprising the both of them.
"Sorry, but we had to make you two see eye to eye, so if Kaley was in danger, we knew the two of you would put your differences aside, to rescue Kaley, plus I got to cause a little mischief." Deadly told them making Crystal giggle, it had been her idea.
"We knew you two weren't getting along, so we knew you both love Kaley and if something happened, you'd put your differences aside to help her, I also got to cause some mischief after all." Deadly explained.
"I guess you're not so bad aftervall, you do care aboutvKaley." April told him.
"Ditto April." Loki replied noticing she was smiling stunning him, as she was emotionally stoic as she explained why, making him choked-up.
