Jura slid backwards with a smirk on his face. Coming to a stop, he threw off his black robe and waved his hand, pillars of stones raising up. Laxus pulled his arm back and unleashed a bolt of lightning at the Saint. Jura raised his hand and a stone pillar rose up, taking the attack. Laxus jumped from pillar to pillar and charged, throwing a punch.

The Wizard Saint raised his forearm and blocked the attack before raising his other arm. More pillars rose up and forced Laxus back before charging forward. Jura slammed his open palm and struck the back of Laxus' head. The blonde threw a punch and hit, making Jura smirked as the two traded more hits.

"I'm astonished!" Jura confessed. "It's the first time in years I feel this excited."

"You're a monster like everyone says." Laxus chuckled, raising his hand as lightning rose off it. "What do you say we stop goofing around?"

"Come. Let us fight until one of us falls." Jura said, waving his hand.

"Dragon Slayer Secret Art!" The blonde shouted as he pulled his fist back, lightning rippling off it. "Quaking Heavens: Roaring Thunder!" He thrust his fist forward and a massive bolt of lightning roared forward, blasting Jura in the chest.

The Wizard Saint stumbled back, a smirk on his face. "Well... done..." He chuckled as he fell over.

With Juvia and Gray

Both Gray and Juvia panted as they stared down Chelia and Lyon. "Forgive me, Juvia." The latter said.

"Let's give them the final blow, Lyon!" Chelia shouted.

Gray placed his hand on Juvia's shoulder, making her smile. "Their weak spot is teamwork." He declared. "We can work together better than they can."

"Yes, my love." She said, taking his hand and standing up. Both gripped their hands together as their elements swirled around them.

"That's it! No more going easy on you." Lyon shouted before turning his left. "Chelia!"

The girl just stared at the swirling mass with a smile on her face. "Beautiful..."

Both Fairy Tail wizards cast their spells at the same time, blasting thw other two into the sky. Gray smiled at Juvia before looking down at his hand. "How long are you gonna hold my hand?"

"Forever." She chuckled, leaning into his arm.

With Erza

The red head panted in pain as Minerva stared down at her. "Stay down." The dark skinned woman said. "You can't stand with that leg. And I have no problems making you cry in pain. Give up and this stops now."

"As... long as..." Erza groaned out, pushing herself up. "I'm fighting for my friends, I'll stand up as many times as it takes. You provoked the wrong guild, time and time again. You brutilized Lucy, tortured Milianna, and injured Kagura. For that, I am angry."

"Do you think that will be enough to scare me?" Minerva asked, summoning more spirals of energy next to Erza. The redhead jumped back but a third came up from behind and hit her. "If you don't surrender, this won't stop." Erza jumped through the smoke and slashed at her opponent.

"My anger is the guilds anger!" Erza growled as she spread her feet apart. "Second Origin Release!" Her whole body glowed before the light died, revealing her donned in an elegant armor composed of a short blue robe trimmed gold which is largely open in the middle, revealing much of Erza's chest. The robe is tied together at the waist with a simple red ribbon held together by a gold bead. The robe has elegant multi-layered trim. She wears two large blue gloves which have gold trims flaring out in the ends.

The gloves have red ribbons tied around the wrist and are adorned in a simple pattern of gold dots. She wears a large golden pauldron over each shoulder, bearing the image of a lion with an open mouth. She has blue and gold leggings which match the gloves in their pattern and design. Around the leggings are a pair of gold greaves. The knee plates contain a pattern similar to the tiara she wears.

The greaves themselves match the pattern of her robe. Atop her head sits a tiara consisting of two blue rhombus shaped pieces to each side and a center blue triangular shaped piece. Each piece has a gold adornment inside. Two strands of hair from the sides of her head are each tied together by a golden bead with an intricate swirling pattern. Behind her is a large white sash which loops above her head with the ends hanging out towards the ground with a bead on each end.

In her hand was a large halberd with a golden circular hand guard in the center. The blade is quite large with a semi circle of small rhombuses on the other side. A purple cloth is tied right below the blade. "Nakagami Armor!"

Minerva stepped back a bit before firing off several spatial beams at Erza. "Nothing can save you now." The red head declared as she walked through the spells, slicing through the attacks. "Because this armor destroys all magic!"

"You should be out of power! How can you still be standing!?" Minerva asked in a panic.

"I told you. I'll keep standing until you're defeated." She declared walking forward.

"S-stay away!" Minerva shouted as she backed away.

"I will have revenge for Kagura and Millianna!" Erza shouted as she charged and swung her weapon.

Minerva flew through the air and crashed into the ground, utterly defeated in combat. Erza looked down in disgust as her armor returned to the Clear Heart Clothing. "Sting... I'm sorry..." She mumbled, tears in her eyes.

As the sun finally set, a bright beam of light shot up into the sky, taking the form of the Sabertooth emblem. Erza looked up and started walking over, a bokutō as a support. She ran into the others along the way and they finally reached Sting. "Now there's a sight. It's weird, I used to look up to you guys as a kid, but you don't look all that grand."

"Enough talk, we didn't come out here to make nice." Gajeel growled out.

"We'll fight you one on one." Gray declared. "Pick someone."

"Why not all at once?" The blonde chuckled. "It won't be fun otherwise."

"Do not underestimate us." Juvia said.

"Wouldn't dream of it. Now let's do this." Sting said.

"You seriously wanna fight us by yourself?" Laxus asked.

"Of course! Now let's go!" He shouted, only to be met with all five standing strong. 'The hell is wrong with me? They're all weak enough that a push could knock them out. If I win, I'll get Lector back! I can't lose, not after coming this far!' He started marching forward only to suddenly drop to his knees and fall to his knees.

"I... I can't do it..." He mumbled. "I surrender..."

"I... It... it's OVER! FAIRY TAIL IS THE WINNER OF THE GRAND MAGIC GAMES!" Chapati shouted as fireworks went off over the colosseum. Even in the center if the city, they could hear the cheers of the crowd.

"Sting..." Erza mumbled as she walked over. "Why did you back down?"

"I'm so weak... All I had to do was win, but I just lost hope." He mumbled. "Now I'll never see Lector again..."

"You can." She turned around and Milianna waved at her, Lector in his arms.

He looked up and tears started forming in his eyes. "Lector!" He sprinted forward and the cat meet him mid run, letting the two hug.

Mercusius

Princess' Chamber

Arcadios marched through the palace, looking around. "Princess!" He shouted, looking through her room. "Don't tell me, she's already on her way?"

Deep below her feet, Hisui and Darton walked down the stairs towards the Gate. "Fairy Tail kept all their members and Sting surrendered..." The defense minister mumbled.

"As I feared, the unpredictable has come to pass." Hisui said as they reached the weapon. "Now I know for a fact that my advisor is from the future. His past will soon be our present. The battle for the survival for humanity starts now! Prepare to move the Eclipse Cannon above ground!"

With Natsu's Group

"Does anyone know what time it is?" Natsu asked as he punched a soldier back.

"No clue." Wendy added, only for vines to wrap around her limbs. "What is this?"

"How's it going, cutie?" Cosmos chuckled.

A puff of smoke covered Pantherlily, making him and his sword shrink. "This is bad."

The scythe user chuckled and swung his blades, only for a kunai to explode between his feet. "You're not gonna die like this." Slate said. "Happy, Carla! Get out of here and fond the guild, now!"

The two took off into the air, only to suddenly get blasted back with hot air by Uosuke. "BACK OFF!" Natsu shouted as he blasted more soldiers back.

A cry caught everyone's attention as suddenly the soldiers started sinking into a growing shadow. "What is this?" Cosmos asked as she and Kamika started sinking into it.

The shadow swirled around and started pulling everyone in. The scythe user started pulling the girls hands, trying to save them only to get swallowed himself. "What is this!?" He cried out before everyone got absorbed into the void.

Future Lisanna stared in horror as the shadow moved backwards. "What happened here? This shouldn't have occurred." She mumbled as stepped back in fear.

"What the heck is going on here?" Natsu asked.

With Arcadios

Arcadios walked forward and stared at the massive gate, Hisui calling the shots. "Princess!" He called out, catching her attention.

"Arcadios, it's you!" She cheered as Darton stared in shock.

"Colonel, please forgive me for throwing you into the Hell Palace." The Minister grumbled. "It was a misunderstanding on my part."

"You did as you thought right, I hold no grudge." The armored man said, looking around. "The men who are assembled here, I assume you told them of the Eclipse Plan 2?"

"Correct." The princess nodded. "The rest of the garrison is being informed at once. I hope the Garou Knights will soon hear of it. The time travelers prediction came to pass. We've no choice but to switch to Eclipse 2, and protect our kingdom from what is coming. For now, we must put the original plan on hold."

Arcadios stared at the girl before gripping his blade, shocking Darton before he suddenly handed it over to Hisui. "A true knight trusts the commands of his master. This is the code I swore to." He said, pointing the blade at his own neck. "I vowed to put my faith in you, and for that I ask you to slay me. I cannot repress the doubt within me, so you must kill me as I have dishonored you.

"There is something I must ask you. I spoke with your contact that came from the future, but that person clearly has no idea of the Eclipse 2. They knew about the pending apocalypse, but had no plan to stop it. This person could not be lying, especially not to her loves face. She has nothing to gain by lying to her friend."

"She..?" Hisui repeated in confusion. "The traveler from the future who advised me... was a man."

"There are two people who came from the future..." Arcadios mumbled. "One was Lisanna, who came here to warn her friends of the danger."

"And the other came to warn the princess of the danger." Darton said.

"Their goal is the same, to save this country." Hisui explained, handing the sword back to the knight. "I wouldn't be surprised if there was three or four time travelers. You're a knight, you should point your sword in the right direction. I shall open the door, that is my sword to protect this country." She walked towards the Eclipse Gate as the moon started turning red from the lunar eclipse.

With Nicholas

"Yukino!" Nicholas shouted as he raced through a hedge maze. "Come on, show yourself! This isn't funny anymore."

"I'm over here..." He turned to the side and found her sitting on the ground.

"Finally. Why the hell did you run off?" He asked, walking over. "Let's get going, the others are in trouble and need our help."

"I... I can't..." She mumbled out, confusing him. "Just stay away, I'm nothing but bad luck. It's all I ever seem to do in my life. Even when I was a child, bad things would always happen to me. If you stay around me, I'm sure I'll-"

"GET OVER YOURSELF!" He interrupted, chopping her head. She gripped her head in pain and looked up at him in confusion. "You think you're the only one whose ever had any bad luck in your life? Well, you're not! Everyone has bad days in their life, some more than others. But everyone else doesn't just give up. So are you gonna give up, or push against your bad luck?"

With Natsu's Group

"All those soldier..." Happy mumbled in horror.

"Why didn't that shadow target us?" Pantherlily asked.

A figure started stepping forward, making Loke drop into a fighting stance. "Who are you!?" Natsu shouted.

"The shadows can reach beyond the present, into the past and into the future." The man said, his voice shocking Natsu. "We meet again, Natsu Dragneel. My name is Rogue..." The last of the shadows rolled off him, revealing that his hair is now much longer than before, being tied in a high ponytail that reaches midway down his back. Additionally, rather than being completely black, his hair is now black on the right, and a much lighter color on the left. He gained a sharp, curved tattoo around his left, snake-like eye, his right hidden by his bangs.

His clothing is also significantly different. He wears a long, light, high-collared version of a ferraiolo. However, the part of the ferraiolo that drapes over his shoulders is very dark, and the edges of the ferraiolo are adorned with a tiger-print pattern. Across the ferraiolo, there is a strap, which is fastened to his body via a button on either side of his chest. Underneath the ferraiolo, he donned a light-colored, long sleeved shirt, wherein the cuffs are rolled up. Over his long-sleeved shirt, the man wears a dark, Y-shaped vest, which has three circles printed on front, that he keeps tucked into his belt.

However, the vest splits into four long pieces of cloth that, as they are a part of the vest, are also decorated with circles; each piece of cloth has four circles. Finally, he wears a pair of light trousers under the loose pieces of cloth and, to complete his attire, strapped boots.

"Rogue..." Natsu repeated.

"From Sabertooth?" Wendy asked.

"You came from the future..." Lucy realized.

"Just like me..." Future Lisanna mumbled.

"Why did you come here?" Carla asked.

"I came here to save the world." Rogue replied. "And to do that, I must open the gate. There are two ways to use Eclipse. One is to move across time, the other is as a weapon the Eclipse Cannon. That is the only to defeat the ten thousand dragons."

"It can do that!?" Lisanna asked.

"So all we have to do is open the Gate and fire?" Natsu asked. "Sounds easy to me."

"It's not that simple." Future Rogue replied. "I come from seven years in the future. In that time, dragons destroyed everything and rule the ashes. Only ten percent of the human population still lives, and our Eclipse Gate doesn't have enough power to do the job. If we don't stop the dragons now, the world will end."

"Then let's open the gate and do this!" Natsu cheered.

"However, seven years ago, someone blocked the Gate from opening." The time traveler continued. "Because of them, we couldn't point the cannon at the dragons. This person therefor doomed the world, so I came here to kill them. Reasoning with this person is pointless. Even if they see reason, fate has stripped choice from them. As long as that person is alive, they will close the gate. The person responsible for this destruction is you, Lucy Heartfillia!"

He pulled his hand back and shadows gathered around it, turning into a javelin. With one motion, he hurled the spear forward past everyone. His aim was true and everyone could only watch as Lisanna rushed over and pushed Lucy out of the way, the attack hitting her instead.

Everyone gasped in shock as Rogue stepped back. "No, only one was supposed to die!" He shouted as Natsu stared at her, his fist shaking in anger.

Lisanna stumbled back and fell into Lucy's arms, who lowered her to the ground. "You never... closed the gate..." She gasped out.

"Forget about that! Why did you do that!?" The blonde asked.

"You're a part of the guild..." Lisanna said with a smile. "I wouldn't let you die... like this..."

"Wendy, can you heal her?" Slate asked, only to find the girl had tears in her eyes.

"The attack... destroyed her heart." Carla replied. "There's nothing we can do."

"It's okay..." Future Lisanna groaned out. "I'd never thought... I'd see you all again... But I could meet you again... to see you one last time... And that's enough... to make me happy again..."

"Lisanna don't die!" Happy shouted as tears started building up in his eyes..

"I'm not... the from this world... or this time..." She chuckled, rubbing his face with her hand. "The Lisanna from this world... will live on... her friends... So don't cry... for me..."

"No, I'll cry for you no matter who you are!" The cat shouted back.

"No matter what happens, you're still my mom!" Happy shouted added before tackling her into a hug. "We don't wanna lose you so of course we're sad!"

Laki smiled as she held the blue cat close. "Lucy..." Lisanna mumbled, looking at the blonde. "Let me see your guild mark... one last time..."

Tears in her eyes, Lucy held her hand up and showed off the pink crest. Lisanna reached up and gripped her hand, a soft smile on her face. "Natsu..." She turned her head and looked at her crush, anger building up even more. "I..." Her eyes started closing as the smile stayed on her face. "Always... Love..." The last of her strength faded and her eyes closed, a happy smile on her face.

The entire group started crying before Loke glared at Future Rogue. "That was not supposed to happen!" He shouted in horror. "Only the one who closed the gate was supposed to die!"

"I would never close that damn gate!" Lucy shouted.

"No matter what you say, your fate has been sealed the minute you were born!" Rogue shouted, his arm glowing in shadow. "Every choice you think you had was already made for you!"

"SHUT UP!" Natsu shouted, tears falling from his eyes as he unleashed a flaming punch that sent Rogue flying backwards. "I'm gonna make you pay, for everything you've done! I'LL KILL YOU!" He charged forward and started swinging his flaming fists at Rogue, sending him sliding back. "Lucy, get out of here, right now."

"I can't..." She mumbled back before Loke grabbed her wrist.

"Natsu's got this, let's go!" Her spirit shouted before pulling her up. Wendy and the Exceeds ran after the two, angering Rogue.

"You're not going anywhere!" He shouted as he charged, only to get hit in the back of the head by a flaming fist, sending him to the floor. "Natsu Dragn-" A punch to the face cut him off and sent him sliding back, letting Natsu wipe the tears from his eyes. "I never once doubted that you'd try to stop me."

The time traveler's voice echoed around him as he snaked around the room in shadow form. "But it doesn't really matter because your fate is sealed. Even if you managed to defeat me, the dragons will still kill you."

"I never pegged you for a butcher." Natsu said as he watch shadow.

"Time changes a person." Rogue declared, lurching out of the shadow. "But it doesn't matter because your time is up!" He swung his arm and blasted Natsu with shadows, only for fire to burn through them.

"Your mistake... was taking someone precious to me..." Natsu growled out, the flames rolling off him. "Right before my eyes. I don't like how you do things. So screw you and your plan! We're gonna save the future our way!" The two charged at each other, their magic rolling off each other before slamming into each other, forcing each other back.

Natsu jumped back from a sneak attack and slid to a stop, glaring at the man. "Answer me this, did you really come here to save the future?" Natsu asked. "My nose is telling me that everything about you is evil." The man smirked slightly as he dropped into another fighting stance.

Central Plaza

Toma E. Fiore stood out before every guild that fought in the games, a somber look on his face. "I'm sorry we don't have time to celebrate the Grand Magic Games, but this country is in grave danger." He said. "At the castle, they're getting ready to use our strategy, The Eclipse Cannon. Our objective is to wipe them all out at once.

"However, considering the number of enemies, a few might survive. So please, I want ti use your power to defeat the dragons. Help us save this country." Instantly, every guild agreed to help save the country, making the king cry in joy. "Thank you..."

"I don't believe it..." Lahar mumbled from afar.

"That all these wizards could work together after the Games?" Doranbolt chuckled.

"No, the Eclipse." His friend replied. "The mere existence of that Gate violates more than 30 different laws. This is serious. We need to inform the Magic Council Headquarters at once."

"Lahar and Doranbolt, yes?" The two turned around and came face to face with Jellal, a serious look on his face. "I have a favor for you two."

With Lucy and Co.

The group stared out from behind a bush, unable to hear anything from the princess or the soldiers. "Of all the places we could have gone to.." Carla mumbled in annoyance.

"They're about to open the Gate." Wendy mumbled.

"You have no reason to hide anymore." Arcadios called out to them, making them stand up.

"You're from Fairy Tail..." Hisui mumbled. "I'm sorry for how you've been treated, but this state of emergency means an official apology will have to wait for now. And congratulations on your guild for winning the Grand Magic Games."

"I knew they would do it!" Wendy cheered.

"Why are you opening the Gate right now?" Lucy asked. "There's no need, the dragons aren't even here yet."

Hisui gasped in shock before glancing at Arcadios. "It's a long, but just know that they are aware of the situation." He replied. "Speaking of, where is Miss Lisanna from the future?"

The others gasped in shock before Pantherlily spoke up. "She was murdered by a man who claims to be from the future."

Arcadios and Hisui gasped in horror as Lucy spoke up. "The guy's a nut-job! He went on and on about how I was going to stop the Gate from opening, and doom everyone. So he tried to kill me! I'm only here because Lisanna saved my life."

"Do you plan to close the Gate?" Hisui asked.

"Hell no!" She shouted back. "But that doesn't explain why you're opening the Gate now. Why not wait until they're all in range?"

"We can't wait." The princess replied. "It takes a long time for the Gate to open. If we wait for them to appear, it won't be ready. It must be done now! However, I cannot be certain this will wipe out all of them. But my father is preparing a back up plan as we speak."

The Gate suddenly started glowing red at the center. Everyone looked up and watched in a mix of fear and hope as the Gate slowly opened, revealing a blinding light.

Gotta be honest, I think this is a much better version of events. Because the person who died was ACTUALLY in a relationship with Natsu, this death hits much harder than just a friend dying to save herself... as confusing as that sounds. I think this might be harder for him than when Lisanna 'died' because he actually saw it.

Also, obviously changed things with Nicholas going after Yukino. Made it less sisterly and more like Nicholas is just done hearing that. Because honestly, if you're gonna have them bring up the connection between Lisanna and Yukino, DON'T BRING LISANNA BACK! Seriously, the dialogue between the two in canon makes it sound like Lisanna is still dead.

Not much left to say. See ya next time.
