Hey, everyone. Here we are with another chapter.

Let's get to it.

Chapter 13- Back to Tatooine

(August 27, 2004)

Philip sighs a bit as he slumps a bit over the control panel. It's been almost 36 hours since he left Daiyu after killing the Fourth Sister. Ever since he left, he's been searching for Obi-Wan and Leia, but without success. He had managed to contact Bail, who confirmed that Obi-Wan had contacted him but he had no idea where the two of them were.

Philip had tried looking across several nearby planets for the two, but had found no sign of Obi-Wan or Leia. He had tried meditating to see if just through the Force had could track the Inquisitors or Obi-Wan, but had no luck at all. Now, he was just trying to think of anything else that could possibly give him somewhere to track them to.

Suddenly, his commlink begins beeping. Philip activates it, and a second later, a human male who sheltered him on Tatooine appears.

"What do you want?" Philip asks in confusion.

"I figured you'd want to know this. One of those Inquisitors who was here a few days ago showed up again. She looked like she's in a bad shape, but she's here looking for something. It seemed a little out of the norm for them," the man replies.

Philip feels a bit confused, and concerned. If one of the Inquisitors is acting alone and out of the norm, there has to be a reason for it. But, if she is in a bad shape, then hopefully she'll be an easier target. But, deep down, Philip feels there's a significance to this he doesn't understand yet. After a moment, he says, "Alright. I'm on my way."

As he cuts the transmission, Philip looks back to R2. "R2, set a hyperspace route to Tatooine."

(Hours later)

Philip lowers his head a bit as he heads past a few sandtroopers that are part of the local garrison. After traveling to Mos Eisley, he had been directed on to the town of Anchorhead, where the Inquisitor his contact had spotted had apparently gone.

Philip had arrived in Anchorhead just minutes ago. Now, he is searching through the small town for any sign of the Inquisitor who came here, or anyone who knows anything about her.

As he walks through what looks like a small square, Philip sees a small beverage cart with a few people lined up to it. Deciding this may be a spot to fish up some information, Philip walks over and joins the line. He first tries asking those next to him in line if they've seen someone matching the Inquisitor's description, but nobody has.

After a minute, Philip reaches the man running the stall. As he gets to the front, Philip says, "I'll take a drink, and information."

"What kind of information?" the stall owner asks as he makes and hands Philip the drink.

"If you've seen an Imperial Inquisitor around here," Philip responds.

Instantly, a look flashes across the man's face that Philip knows means he has seen the Inquisitor Philip's after. Philip raises an eyebrow and says, "The look on your face tells me you have. What did they look like, and why are they here?"

The owner hesitates for a moment before he whispers, "She did come through. Human, female, tall, dark skinned." Philip immediately identifies this with the Third Sister.

The man continues speaking. "She showed up earlier, and didn't look too good. But, she came here looking for a farmer who lives a fair distance out of town. Owen Lars."

"A moisture farmer? Why a moisture farmer?" Philip wonders aloud.

"Not sure. But she was very explicit. I don't know why. Owen and his family are nice people, and they mostly keep to themselves and a small friend group, but everyone in town knows them to some degree. They're good people, but they're not Jedi. I don't know why she wants them," the man says.

"YOu said his family. Who are his family?" Philip asks.

"Well, he lives with his wife, Beru Lars, and his nephew, Luke. Nobody knows why they take care of their nephew, just that Luke's parents couldn't," the man says.

"Do you know the nephew's last name?" Philip asks.

"I've only heard his last name used once, and that was when owen was mad at him. I don't remember it really, I think it was…Sky…something," the man says.

Philip feels a jolt shoot through him. It can't be. There's no way. But…if there is, that has to be why she's here.

"Thank you," Philip says. He then turns and hurries away from the stall, leaving the owner wondering exactly who he is.

(That night)

Night has fallen over the Jundland Wastes. On the outskirts of the wastes, the Lars homestead lies peacefully, a seemingly innocent moisture farm seemingly bedding down for the night. However, tonight, it will not be an innocent place.

Outside the homestead, a lone figure is slowly walking across the sand. The individual formerly known as the Third Sister, now just known by her name, Reva. After her humiliating defeat and near death at the hands of Darth Vader, she is here to claim her vengeance.

Reva enters the homestead quietly, lightsaber held in her hand, but not yet ignited, not yet wanting to alert the family to her presence. She assumes that the family has bedded down for the night, but doesn't want to risk waking them.

Coming down the steps into the homestead, she slowly enters the main habitation pit. As she enters, she senses something. She's not alone. But where her opponents are, she cannot quite tell.

Hidden behind crates and boxes, Owen and Beru are watching her carefully, feeling a bit afraid for their nephew and wondering if they'll be enough, but determined to do what they can to protect Luke. They wait patiently, waiting for the right moment.

Reva slowly moves towards the center of the pit, turning slowly, looking for her enemies. Then, as she turns her back to him, Owen takes his chance and fires. His first bolt just misses her head, and she quickly turns around, using her saber to block the next bolt.

Beru starts firing her own blaster, the couple firing their weapons as fast as they can. However, Reva blocks their bolts with relative ease, although it's clear she's not in peak shape.

"Go, go!" Owen shouts to Beru as Reva slowly advances towards them. He races up towards his wife, ready for them to fall back.

Then, what sounds like a soft rumble hits their ears, and suddenly, the sand around Reva seems to lift off the ground and start throwing itself at her, forcing her back as she covers her eyes.

Then, a figure falls from overhead, landing in the pit a few yards from Reva, and a second later, ignites a red lightsaber. The figure stands up, pulling back his hood to reveal a skull like mask.

Reva looks at him in shock and a bit of fear, knowing she's not in the best shape. "The Crimson Blade. How did you find me?" she demands.

"I have ears in places. And one set told me you had come here," Philip says with a chuckle, twirling his lightsaber in hand. Then, more seriously, he says, "I know why you're here, and I will not allow that to happen. You will not take the boy or kill him. You have come here to die." Then, Philip charges at Reva.

Reva raises her lightsaber, managing to block Philip's saber. Philip follows up with a second slash aimed at her shoulder, which Reva manages to block. Reva uses the Force to throw a crate at Philip, but Philip raises his hand, halting the crate in midair. He then uses the Force to crush it into pieces and send the pieces flying at Reva. Reva activates the second blade of her saber and spins the blades to cut up the pieces as they fly at her.

Owen and Beru watch in amazement as this unexpected duel begins to unfold before them. They watch as Philip lunges back towards her, putting all of his strength into three quick blows, battering Reva backwards. He then switches things up and tries an upwards slash aimed at her waist. Reva manages to deflect it, and then strikes back with a stab aimed at his chest. Philip deflects it up and away, but Reva uses that momentum and pits it into a spin, bring her saber down towards Philip's shoulder. However, as she brings the saber down, Philip raises his saber and blocks hers, then reaches up with his free hand, grabs Reva's wrist, then squeezes her wrist while twisting it, forcing her to drop her saber.

Philip pushes Reva down, standing over her triumphantly. "You have become the very thing you hated so much, Reva," he says, knowing her real name from the files he stole from the Executrix. She looks up at him, a flood of emotions running across her face.

"That boy is the hope of the galaxy, Reva. And you tried to bring him harm. You allowed yourself to be consumed by darkness. For everything you've done," he says, raising his saber, holding it up briefly for a moment before saying, "You die." Philip then slashes his saber downwards, cutting across her throat and her torso all the way to her hip. And Reva falls dead at his feet.

Philip stands still over her body for several long moments before he finally deactivates his lightsaber. Then, he turns around to face Owen and Beru, both of whom are standing there, still stunned at the duel they just witnessed. Philip stands there for a moment before he walks towards the two, stopping just below the stairs they're standing on.

"I mean you no harm. I came here to protect the boy, and to kill yet another Inquisitor," Philip says.

It takes a moment before Beru manages to break out of her shock and say, "Thank you. We owe you a great debt."

"I didn't do it for debt. I did it because bringing pain and frustration to the Empire is my mission," Philip says in response. He pauses for a moment, then looks at Owen and addresses him directly. "Owen Lars, I want you to deliver a message to Kenobi when he inevitably comes here. Tell him to let this be a lesson to him. He cannot hide from his responsibilities any longer. His rejection of his old life has almost cost the galaxy its greatest hopes, and I hope he learns from this."

Owen is quiet for a few moments before he says, "I'll tell him."

"I'm not done, though," Philip says. He then points a finger at Owen and says, "You are not blameless either, Owen. Keep in mind whose son this boy is. He is the hope of the galaxy. You keep him locked away here, and you keep him away from someone who can teach him, that being Obi-Wan, you will bring nothing but pain to the galaxy, and to yourself." He pauses, then says, "I have many travels ahead, but I will be keeping an eye on this boy, now that I know he exists. Don't disappoint me."

With that, Philip turns away from them and then uses the Force to leap up out of the habitation pit, disappearing over the rim of the pit and out of sight. Owen and Beru watch him go, wondering just who was that man.

(Mustafar)

On his throne within his fortress, Darth Vader looks in front of him at the hologram of his master, Darth Sidious. The two have been engaged in a brief conversation about Vader trying to continue the hunt for Obi-Wan, and the Emperor expressing concern for Vader's obsession with this.

Hearing the Emperor question his loyalties and ties, Vader feels a sense of anger at the Emperor for suggesting such a thing, and at his old master for suggesting he is not loyal. "Kenobi means nothing. I serve only you, my Master," he says.

The Emperor smiles a wicked smile at those words. He waits for a moment before going into another topic he wishes to discuss with Vader.

"There is another topic we must discuss Lord Vader. I have sensed a tremor in the Force. The Third Sister has been killed by the Crimson Blade," the Emperor informs Vader.

Vader is quiet, musing on that. With confirmation of the Fourth Sister's death at the Blade's hands a few days earlier, the Third Sister's death now brings the Crimson Blade's kill total to 15 Inquisitors.

"The Crimson Blade has gotten stronger. He is now much stronger than when you briefly faced him on Nur. He has become a threat. Before he long, he will tire of pursuing the Inquisitors and come for us. We must not let that happen," the Emperor says firmly.

"It will be done, my Master. I will take over the hunt personally. I will hunt the Crimson Blade, and I will be his death," Vader says. The Emperor smiles once more as the hologram fades, and Vader finds himself contemplating his new mission.

And, I'll end the chapter there.

So, this story is actually nearing it's end. The next few chapters will be about Vader's pursuit of Philip and their rematch, and then we'll wrap up the story.

Next chapter will be up soon. Until it is, please leave a review, and stay tuned!
