I am not dead! Englander will stay and not be abandoned. This story must continue!
New and Old Friends
It was another dark night at U.A. high. All of its teachers were gone and went back to their homes to get some much-earned rest. After countless interviews from the media and meetings with the press, they deserved to have some rest.
However, one hero stayed behind at the school.
Yagi Toshinori or also known as All Might was currently getting himself situated at U.A.
What the public didn't know was that he was going to be teaching at the high school. Sure, there were rumors but many people in the public didn't believe them.
Eventually the media would find out, but he already had an answer to the reason why he was a teacher at U.A.
The real reason why he took up a job as a teacher was not to only teach the next generation of young heroes to become peacekeepers of the world. But to find a protégé.
All Might's time as a hero was decreasing every time, he was in his muscle form. He knew he had to pass his quirk One for All to another person soon. He did however find a potential person to inherit One for All.
Henry Clarke.
The infamous Englander and hero at Verdun and Passchendaele.
Toshinori couldn't stop reading more about Henry's military service. Fending off a German attack at Verdun by himself, rescuing soldiers from No Man's land, rescuing civilians from the battle, and traveling to different parts of the war to help fellow allies. He did it all.
Not to mention the skill the young man had with his quirk. His combat skills were improper but highly effective in a fight. Cool under pressure and able to improvise in battle situations.
Toshinori felt that choosing Henry as the ninth holder of One for All. He would become the greatest hero of the modern time. The next symbol of peace and justice.
However, he did have some doubts. The biggest one was Henry's choice of fighting. It was no secret that the young soldier killed people in the great war. But the thought of seeing young Clarke killing another person was scary.
Henry deserves to become a hero. After everything he has been through and the fact that he was unable to go back to the UK. The young boy deserves a hero welcome and the opportunity to show the world a true hero like All Might.
Henry was the best choice for the old hero, because of the impending doom of a certain villain that caused great misery to Toshinori life and the loss of his master.
All for one.
Just by saying his name or thinking it made him angry.
Toshinori looked to his watch and noticed it being 10:30 at night. It was time for him to head back home and get a good night's rest.
As he walked the hallways of the school, he thought back on how he was going to tell Gran Torino his master on his choice of the next holder. It had been a couple of months since they last talked but Toshinori knew he would have to ask him.
'Englander: the ninth holder of One for All…' Toshinori thought to himself.
The next morning…
Henry stood out in the open.
Feeling the cold morning air on the P.E. grounds in his work out suit or in his mind "Clown suit."
The young lad decided to get a nice little jog in before he went to go visit Recovery girl for his checkup. He was hesitant at first but when chatting to Recovery girl she was like a grandmother.
The short old women treated him like a grandson and that brought some color to the young lad. Being away from family tends to be depressing and lonely.
Days had pass since Henry's shopping day with Midnight. After the promise she made to Henry on finding his friends and any indication of Ayaka's survival after the war.
It didn't matter if she was old. All he wanted to do was to hold her in his arms and be reunited with her once again.
As the young man jogged around the track on the P.E. grounds, Shota Aizawa studied the young hero. He didn't walk out in the open immediately because he wanted to see how Henry ticked.
He read the report on Henry's incident at the hospital, the boy was a ticking time bomb. One wrong move and the boy's soldier instinct would kick in. But Aizawa didn't mind, he understood the time Henry lived in.
The war to end all wars. A war that changed the world for ever and lead to the rise of the second world war. Aizawa wasn't much of a history buff but did his research when his job demanded it.
Henry was young boy eager to join the war in Europe after the death of his brother. After being deployed he saw what humanity was capable of: the destruction of each other. But through all that horror, the young soldier was determined to fight to the end. When he revealed his powers. Everything changed.
The fact the British government tried to hide the history of Englander made him suspicious about the boy and the government. Why would they do such a thing? Was there something else at play?
"Hello sir?"
Aizawa was interrupted from his thoughts when he heard a boy's voice. He looked down to see none other that Henry Clarke standing in front of him.
"I noticed you standing here in the distance with a weird look on your face. Is there something wrong?"
Aizawa sighed before speaking, "No just observing. Surprised that you're this up and early to jog. I would think after everything that you've been through you would probably rest for a while."
"Well, you're not wrong. It would be nice to just rest, but I need to stay in shape and keep my skills in tip top shape sir!" Henry stood straight up with a proud look on his face.
Aizawa deadpanned at the boy from the way he acted, "You do realize your not in the military anymore kid?"
Henry felt embarrassed and quickly went back to a normal stance, "Sorry…just used to that more."
"It's fine kid," Aizawa replied.
Henry perked up to ask the teacher a question, "Pardon me sir but I don't think we properly introduced each other. I'm Henry Clarke or Englander as the world know me as."
Aizawa was silent for a couple of seconds before he spoke, "Shota Aizawa, I'm a teacher here at U.A. high."
Henry held out his hand for Aizawa to shake, "Nice to meet you Aizawa Sensei."
The hero was surprised to hear the Sensei part and shook Henry's hand, "Nice to meet you too Englander."
Both broke the hand shake and Henry said his goodbyes, but before he could leave Aizawa asked him about his training.
"Henry, I almost forgot to tell. Since you will be staying here at U.A. you can use your quirk on the field."
"Really?" Henry responded.
"Yup."
"Like right now?"
Aizawa rolled his eyes, "Just get back to exercising."
The young soldier walked towards the middle of the field and began to power up his quirk. The ground around the boy started to shake and before you knew it. Henry propelled himself into the sky in a giant leap.
He soared through the air before landing down and jumping again. Aizawa was impressed at how skilled Henry was using his quirk. But there was always room for improvement.
"HAAAAAAAHA!" Henry yelled as he jumped another time into the air.
Henry closed his eyes to focus in on the air pushing against him and how nice it felt. What didn't expect was that he was closing in on the school.
When the young boy opened his eyes, he was speeding right towards one of the school's windows.
Aizawa noticed this and began running to stop him, but he was too late.
"HOLY SH-"
*BAM! *
Henry slammed onto the window with his face hugging it. He opened his eyes to see Nezu, Midnight, and Recovery girl staring at him with looks of shock.
The young soldier smiled at them before sliding off the window and falling towards the ground. Slamming onto the pavement with a loud thud and face first.
The three staff members quickly made their way out with Nezu on Midnights shoulder to see Henry sitting on the ground with his hands covering his nose.
Recovery girl walked up to the boy who revealed to have blood pouring out of his nose, "What the heck were you thinking!? Using your quirk so recklessly and getting a broken nose in the process!?"
"Sorry ma'am," Henry replied.
"Let's get him to the nurses office," Midnight stated with Aizawa pulling him up and leading him inside the school.
"*Smooch! *"
Henry touched his nose and felt it all fixed, "How did you fix my nose?"
Recovery girl smiled looked at the young boy straight in the eyes, "It's my quirk. It called Heal and the way it works is when I kiss someone, I speed their body's natural healing process and with this quirk I can heal broken and sprains in a matter of seconds. However, it does make you sleepy because it requires your energy to help you heal.
"Incredible…we could have used you back in day ma'am," Henry happily said despite the pain he was in and droopy eyes. This earned a smile from the older woman.
Midnight walked up to the boy and looked at him with concern, "Just be careful next time Henry. But I'm glad you're feeling better despite your nose being broken for a small amount of time."
Henry looked down feeling bad for making Midnight feel scared for him, "I'm sorry."
Principal Nezu walked up to the young boy and patted his leg, "It's fine Henry, you were just eager to use your Quirk after years being a sleep."
Henry felt happy that Nezu and the staff were taking care of him. This academy has become his new home, which meant new friends and memories. Recovery girl then got in front of the Nezu and the other teachers to get them out.
"Now if you all excuse me, its time for Henrys physical examination. Don't you all worry it's not anything serious," Recovery girl told her fellow teachers who felt pleased by her response.
Aizawa left with Nezu on his shoulder. Midnight gave a heartwarming smile to the young boy and brought him close to her, "Come find me after your done. Ok."
"Yes Ma'am!" Henry happily said with a playful smile and salute. She chuckled and left, leaving Recovery girl and Henry alone.
"Alright sonny, for our first step lets get some blood from you," Recovery girl stated as she pulls out a large needle with a tube on it from one of the cabinets.
Henry eyes widened and gulped at the size of needle and walked closer to the young boy with a smile on her face.
"This will only sting a little."
'I hope so…' The young soldier thought to himself.
15 minutes later…
"Now that should be it for the physical. You can relax now," Recovery girl told the young boy.
Henry put his shirt down after taking breaths for Recovery girl to listen to his lungs and if his breathing was normal. She felt up his whole body to see if his muscles or any other part of his body was ok and to see how healthy he was. The end result was him being pretty fit for a boy his age.
What made it surprising was how healthy he was compared to most British soldiers in the trenches. Sickness like the common cold could kill a man in a few weeks. Trench foot, Typhoid, Gangrene, and Influenza were all examples of diseases soldiers faced in unsanitary conditions.
"It's been a while since I had a check up like this. Thank you, Recovery girl."
"No thanks needed, just doing my job as the school nurse. Also, you don't have to refer to me as my hero's name. My real name is Chiyo Shuzenji or Ms. Shuzenji is fine," Ms. Shuzenji explained.
Henry smiled and felt safe around the short older woman, "Well Ms. Shuzenji, your great nurse and let's not forget a kind person."
The short older lady smiled and got out a pad for questions she was going to ask Henry before he left.
"Now I'm going to ask you a couple of questions before you leave her today. It's nothing personal just want to see how you are emotionally."
Henry stayed silent for a couple seconds, thinking about what type of questions he was going to be asked, "Fine by me."
Recovery girl happily grinned then began her questioning, "So Henry, how do you feel ever since your return to civilian life?"
"I feel shocked, surprised on how the world changed. I feel happy that the war was over but…to learn that a second war happened makes me sad," Henry said with a disappointed expression.
"Ok, whenever you were sleeping have you experienced nightmares or insomnia?"
Henry was taken back from her question feeling nervous from it, "I…don't. I don't have nightmares. I'm perfectly fine."
Recovery girl wrote down on her pad about the answer Henry said.
"Now, have you had flashbacks to your days at the front or any parts of the war?" Ms. Shuzenji asked with more concern in her voice.
Henry's face darkened and his eyes were cold as he looked out a window, remembering terrible parts of the war.
The young lad starts to remember the death of his comrades. The murder, the destruction, death of young kids no older than 16 killing each other in savage inhumane ways. The comrades he lost, the loved ones he lost, they all died on his watch…it was all his fau-.
"Henry?"
Henry snapped back to reality to see Recovery girl standing in front of him and putting her hand on his knee, "Are you okay sonny?"
The young soldier panicked and gave her a fake smile to reassure the old lady that he was fine and well.
"I'm ok Ms. Shuzenji. Just bad memories…"
Recovery girl stayed looking at the boy not feeling content with his answer but decided to leave it be for now. She finished up writing and closed her little pad, "That's all the questions I needed Henry. Run along now, you still have to go see Midnight."
Henry widened his eyes completely forgetting about Nemuri. He got up and grabbed his things and made a dash to the door, "Thank you so much for everything Ms. Shuzenji. I hope to see you again soon."
"I hope not young man just don't go overboard on you quirk now!" Recovery girl said to the young boy who opened the door.
"Yes ma'am!"
Henry then left the old nurse who opened her pad up to see a word that she circled. A word that most soldiers knew…
PTSD.
Nemuri was sitting in the cafeteria who was drinking some coffee and enjoying her morning. She waited for the young boy to take him out again to get him some history books that he wanted to hand pick.
She then thought back to the investigation she was doing with her fellow staff members on locating Henry's friends and comrades from the war.
Aizawa and All Might were looking into any descendants to Henry or even Ayaka that were still around. So far nothing for Henry but Ayaka yes. Two Midoriyas.
Inko and Izuku Midoriya.
"Sorry I'm late!"
Nemuri broke away from her thoughts to see Henry dressed in his usual clothing and had a wide smile on his face, "Can we go now?"
Nemuri couldn't help but smile. She then dumped her coffee and start walking, making the young boy follow.
"Certainly Henry, we'll be going to that book store we passed by in the mall," Nemuri stated.
Henry's eyes lit up and was really ecstatic about. He had been dying to get some history books to learn about future and the advancements it had made, "Really! Thank you, Midnight!"
The young boy hugged the busty woman while his head was under her breasts. This made the R-rated hero to blush madly but felt at ease from the boys warming hug.
Henry looked up but met with a face full of her assets. He immediately broke the hug and started bowing and apologizing.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry Nemuri! I didn't mean that to happen!" Henry kept on saying till he heard Nemuri laughing.
"HAHA! It's fine Henry. You're not the first person to put their face on my chugs. But we should get going, I'll go get the car ready," Nemuri pulled away from the young boy slowly and swayed her hips after she walked away.
Henry felt relieved that Nemuri forgave him but he soon thought about what she said.
'Wait…what did she mean by "not the first person?"'
"I would like to choose this one."
"A wise choice young man."
A bookstore clerk helped young Clarke picking out a book. Him and Nemuri were currently in a Barnes and Nobles which was a new experience to Henry.
The R-rated hero waited on the side and just felt happy seeing Henry act like a child. Henry couldn't stop moving and just walked around grabbing every book and reading a couple pages before putting it back.
The book he picked was a history book on the 20th Century to the present. This would help the young lad catch up on world events and see what happened in theses many years.
"Is there anything else you need help with young man?" the worker asked.
"No, that will be all," Henry Responded.
The female worker felt content and left the young boy who walked up to Nemuri to show her the book he picked out, "When we get back to the academy Nemuri. I'm reading this immediately."
Nemuri couldn't help but gush at how happy the young man was, "Well, I hope you enjoy the book. I was surprised on how much it costs. But I don't mind paying."
Henry and Nemuri proceeded towards the cashier and purchased the book. After their little trip to the Barnes and Nobles. Both of them decided to just walk around for a bit before getting a desert called Mochi in the mall.
Nemuri sat down with a plate of Mochi and enjoyed it while Henry was just ecstatic to eat it. Soft and sweet taste made Henry just jump in his chair.
"These are really great Nemuri. Thank you for buying these for me. They're way better than the trench cakes our companies cook would make," Henry stated which caught Nemuri's attention.
"Trench cakes?" she asked.
"Yeah! Our cook Randy would make these trench cakes with the ingredients he had on stock. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. A great morale boost," Henry told the R-rated hero.
Nemuri could sense a hint of sadness in the way Henry talked about his past. He didn't feel at home and all his friends could be dead now or really old. The comradery he built with them were probably the greatest moments of his life.
"That's sounds… wonderful. At least the trenches weren't always boring from what the history books have told me," Nemuri told Henry.
Both heroes sat their enjoying each other's company and talking about their personal lives. Eventually Nemuri felt the need to go use the restroom.
"I'll be right back Henry. I have to go use the restroom so just stay here for now."
"Ok," Henry responded. The young boy sat their reading his history book, specifically on WW2. He was disgusted by the man Hitler and what he did to Great Britain. If he was alive during that time, he would have ended the war quickly.
Unknown to the young soldier, a girl with short purple hair and slender body was walking by him. She was walking pretty fast until she tripped on some left-over food that wasn't picked up.
The young girl was falling towards the ground and was going to use her hands to hold her up but was caught by someone. She looked up to see a recognizable person with a piece of mochi in his mouth.
"Are you ok Ma'am?" Henry muffly said. The girl was pulled up by the boy and was surprised to see Englander himself.
"Your…Englander?" The purple hair asked.
Henry felt a little nervous but threw all that nervousness out the window and responded, "Indeed I am. You're not gonna try and get my picture, are you?"
"Oh, no. I usually don't do that with heroes who are off duty because I think its rude," The purple haired girl said.
Henry smiled feeling at ease. He picked up her side bag and gave it back to her. She happily accepted it and looked at the time on her phone.
"I'm sorry I have to cut things short with you. But I can't miss the train to get me back home. I hope we do meet again though," The girl said as she walked away from the young soldier.
Henry quickly walked forward, "Wait!"
The purple haired girl turned around with a confused expression.
"I never got your name?"
…
"It's Kyoka. Kyoka Jiro," she responded and walked away with a smirk. Henry couldn't help but smile at new girl he had just met. What surprised him though was the two wires hanging out of her earlobes.
Henry was about to go back to reading when he noticed six kids wearing school uniforms looking at her with wicked smiles. All six began following her out of the mall.
Nemuri exited out of the restroom after doing her business and fixing herself up. Once out she noticed that Henry was gone.
"Crap," was all that Nemuri said.
Kyoka walked without a care in the world because she had just meant a living legend.
The one and only Englander was hanging around in the mall. She wasn't a super fan of his but she did think of him as the first real hero
She was interrupted from her thoughts when she felt two firm hands on her shoulders. Kyoka turned around to see the same six kids that tried to get close to her back at her school.
"Nice to see you again Jiro," one of the kids said.
"What do you want?" Kyoka said with venom in her voice. She was then pulled away by the kid and his goons followed him into an alley way where no one could see them.
The kid that grabbed her pushed her up to the wall and got close to her ear and said, "Just some payback for beating me up from using that stupid quirk of yours. What me and the boys just wanted was some of your time with us to have some fun."
"Yeah."
"You may not be as big as the other girls. But you do have a nice slender body," one boy said with a really long tongue stretching out towards Kyoka. She shuddered at how disgusting these guys were.
Looking at her like a piece of meat to eat up. The leader's lackeys started to get closer to her which caused her too internally panic.
But before any of the boys could lay a finger or tongue on her. She noticed a lone figure behind the group.
"Oi! I think you should let the lady go you bastards!"
The group turned to see none other than Henry himself. The boys started to cower in fear because of the look he was giving them.
"Oh shit! Its Englander!"
"I'm not getting my ass beat!"
"I'm out of here!"
Most of the students ran away leaving the leader all by himself. He didn't seem scared by the soldier due to his height and young he looked. But felt a cold sweat roll down the back of his neck.
"I'm not scared of you! You're just a little fuck trying to be cool!" The leader said with a hint of fear in his tone.
Kyoka looked back to the leader and couldn't believe that the cocky boy was now a wuss. She looked to Henry to see him walking closer to the two with a cold glare at the boy.
The leader was about to grab Kyoka but Henry was quicker. He used his quirk and launched himself towards the boy in great speed. Henry then tackled the boy to the ground and got him into a tight chock hold.
"Wow…" Kyoka said silently.
Henry's hold on the leader tightened for the way the boy treated Kyoka, "Now…if I ever see or hear you do something to my friend here. I'm going make sure you never walk again; do you understand me?"
"Yes! J-Just let me go! I won't mess with Kyoka or you Englander-san!"
Henry smiled and let the scared kid go. He turned his attention to Kyoka who at the moment was astonished on how easily Henry made those boys run away.
"You all right?" Henry extended his hand to Kyoka. Who gladly accepted the kind gesture and was pulled up.
"Ya. Thanks for the help. Those creeps were trying to touch me," Kyoka said with clear disgust. Henry was sickened at the kids.
"Well, I don't want to keep you waiting for your train. I'll let the authorities know what transpired here today," Henry said feeling content that the girl was safe. He was started to leave but before he could go, Kyoka walked up to him.
"Wait."
Henry turned around and looked to the young girl and noticed the scared expression on her face.
"Could you…stay with me until we make it to the train station. I don't want to be alone after what happened," Kyoka said. Henry felt bad for the girl and decided to accept.
"Ok. I'll stick with you," Henry happily said.
Kyoka felt relieved that she wasn't going to be alone. Having the world's first hero protecting her was something straight out of the history books she read at school.
Englander charging in battle with his comrades, the angel that held off 100 Germans at Verdun, and the man who brought hope to innocent in a time of destruction and death.
He was a true hero. However, Kyoka could tell that Henry didn't seem to like all that publicity about himself.
He seemed quieter like her.
"So… how do you like Japan?" Kyoka asked. Henry looked at her with a small smile.
"It's nice here. I could see that civilization improved technologically. The food on the other hand has improved greatly since my time."
"Oh really? In what way," Kyoka asked wanting to know more about the famous hero.
"Well, we all ways eat bully beef or some type of stew in the trenches. Add the stale bread we get for daily rations and you get yourself a poor man's dinner," Henry's faced cringed at the thought of the food. Even when he was allowed more rations than other soldiers because of his quirk.
Bully beef was good when had with vegetables or potatoes. But the men at the mess tent couldn't cook for shit. Stew tasted like watered down soup with terrible pieces of meat.
Kyoka couldn't help but smile at the boy talking about his past. It was lonely for the young boy ever since his return from the "dead."
He was out of place. A relic from the past.
"So how about you Kyoka?"
She looked up to Henry, "What do you like to do?"
Kyoka was snapped from her thoughts and quickly responded, "Oh! In my spare time I like to play instruments like the guitar. In addition, I'm training for the entrance exam at UA."
"You can play the guitar? That's great! Wait? You said your trying to get into UA?" Henry asked.
"Yup, I want to be a hero and save lives from danger," Kyoka said with pride in her voice.
"It's gonna be hard. The teachers told me that the UA Exam this year is going to be tough so don't slack off."
Kyoka nodded but looked at him confused, "Wait… you said the teachers told you? How did you get in contact with the teachers?"
"Well…I live UA now."
…
…
…
"What!?"
Henry backed up when Kyoka walked up close to him with an excited look, "You live at UA. That's so punk rock! Then again, you are trained with your quirk in actual combat experience so they probably accepted you!"
Henry smile went down and felt nervous, "Well…technically I'm not enrolled in school. They give me the chance to enroll freely but decided not to."
"Why? You just wasted your chance?" Kyoka asked confused on Henry's choice.
"I didn't want to be given some special treatment for fame and status. I'm a kid with a quirk just like you Kyoka, were no different. It would be unfair to every kid trying to get in UA. Taking the entrance exam will show my peers that I'm not some spoiled kid," Henry said from the heart with passion in his voice.
Kyoka was surprised on the way Henry spoke about himself. He didn't care for the fame or the publicity he was getting. He was a selfless person who spoke from the heart.
"Well, enough about myself. How about you Kyoka? Do you play any other instruments? If so, we can always hang when you have the time?" Henry said with Joy.
Kyoka felt nervous from the offer but pushed it to the back of mind, "That would be cool and I can play many instruments like…"
Henry and Kyoka conversed with each other as they walked through the streets. The young soldier was glad to meet Kyoka
"It was great talking to Kyoka. I had a swell time."
Kyoka was about to board the train but talk to Henry before she took her leave, "Don't sweat it man. Your pretty cool yourself despite your gentle manners."
Henry felt a little embarrassed. Kyoka noticed and quickly apologized, "Sorry! Sorry! I didn't mean it like that! I think your gentle nature is what makes you strong in my opinion. I guess my joking around isn't your type I guess."
The young soldier looked back up feeling better from her response. He noticed the train starting up and decided it was time to part ways.
"I guess I'll see you at the entrance exam. Keep training till we meet again," Henry said but Kyoka stopped him.
"Wait."
Kyoka grabbed a piece of paper and wrote her number on it. She gave it to Henry, "You're giving me your…number?"
"Yeah. So, we could keep touch while I'm at school or at home. But before I go can I ask you one favor?"
Henry accepted and asked, "Sure, name it?"
"Can I get a picture with you."
…
"Ok."
Kyoka smiled and stood next to Henry with her phone camera facing her and Henry. She took the picture and smiled at how the it came out, "Thanks, now I can show my parents why I'm a little late home."
Henry grinned at how happy Kyoka was. She boarded the train and waved her hand at her new friend, "See you when I see you, Henry."
"Bye Kyoka!" The doors closed and the train sped off with ease leaving Henry to himself.
All of a sudden, his phone started to ring and was revealed to be Midnight calling him. He totally forgot about his caretaker and felt like shit. The young man answered the phone uneasily.
"Hi Nem-"
"Henry Clarke! I swear when we get back to the dorms, you're going to be locked up for the rest of the week!"
Henry groaned and felt bad for make Nemuri worry about him. He hoped if he told what happened she would let him off easy.
Either way…he would be punished.
Inko Midoriya did her daily chores and was currently washing the dishes while her son was in his room doing homework. He was still dead set on becoming a hero despite not having one.
That's what made her so scared for her son. She didn't want to destroy her son's dream by stopping him because she loved her son. Her baby boy was all she had.
After her husband died in an accident when coming home from work, she had been more protective of Izuku. It was her duty as a mother to protect her child from dangers.
As she finished up the dishes she looked to the TV and saw a documentary on Englander playing.
It was weird to see a historical person in the flesh after years of being missing. Inko remembered her mother telling the legend of Englander when she was young.
At first, she thought it was a fictional story her mother learned from her mother. But when the British government released the truth about Englander. Inko was astonished, her son believed in the hero even before the information about Englander was released.
While most kids talk about All Might and other favorite heroes. Izuku picked Englander as his favorite to talk about, but it led him to being bullied by the other kids.
"Hey mom."
Inko turned to see her son with a book that was on the history of Englander. She couldn't help but smile warmly, "Hello Izuku. Is that homework that you're doing?"
"Yeah, the teachers want us to do a report on him and what makes him a hero! Did you know mom that Englander got his costume from David Shields great great grandfather Thomas!"
Inko smiled at her boy, "That sound's wonderful Izuku. I'm glad you're enjoying your readings my boy."
"You know mom? I've been having this feeling about Englander…" Izuku said. Inko looked to her son with a confused expression.
"What do you mean by that Izuku?" Inko asked.
"Ever since he arrived here in Japan, I felt…like I know him."
Inko mentally chuckled at what Izuku said about Englander, "Honey, I know you read all those books on Englander. You pretty much know ever-"
"No mom. That's n-not what I'm talking about," Izuku stuttered. Inko was now interested and worried for her son.
"I feel connected. Like were connected…family even."
Inko thought about what her son had said to her. She herself was experiencing the same thing as Izuku, like she had met or known Englander for a long time.
*Ring! Ring! *
Out of the bloom, Inko's phone started to ring which caught the attention of both her and her son. She then answered it.
"Hello? Who is this?"
"Hello Miss Midoriya. This is Principle Nezu of UA high; I would like to discuss to you about something."
Word of Englander's return had made all across the world. America, France, Germany and many other nations had heard about the first hero's return.
One country in the world was incredibly happy but at the same time concerned.
None other than the United Kingdom. The home nation of Englander.
One man walked the halls in Buckingham Palace making his way to meet an important person. This was man was old, really old. However, he walked like a young fit man that kept in shape.
He passed a couple of Buckingham Palace Guards who gave him a salute as he passed them. Pictures of Britain's greatest kings were decorated in the hall but one portrait was not of person of royalty.
It was Englander himself; the portrait showed the young hero standing victoriously over a dead German soldier with British soldiers backing him up.
He was soon interrupted when a familiar person caught up to the older man. This man wasn't old but he had to walk with a cane and limped in every step.
"Director Blake," The caned man said. The director was the Johnathan Blake, he had served with Henry since 1916 until his disappearance in 1918. Like his super powered friend, he was a runner too.
"Prime Minister Doyle," Blake responded.
"I see that we were summoned by Her Majesty?"
"Yes. I think I many know what its about," Director Blake said as he returned his attention to the Englander portrait.
"You think it's about Englander?" The Prime Minister said which made the Director look down in a mix of sadness and anger.
Before Blake could respond a British military officer walked out the door to see the two, "Her Majesty would like to see you now."
The military officer opened the way for the two men. Once entering they noticed a middle-aged woman sipping on some tea and having a couple of biscuits to eat. She looked out a window that showed the many tourists taking pictures of the palace.
"Your Majesty," Both men bowed their heads slightly causing the middle-aged women to chuckle.
"Please, call me by my name. I've known the both of you for a long time and besides, we're all friends," The Queen stated with a genuine smile.
Doyle and Blake raised their heads and smiled at their friend. Prime minister had known the Queen since she was crowned 15 years ago after her mother had passed. As for Blake, he and her known each other since the Queen was a young child.
"It's nice to see you to Agatha," Blake stated as he and Doyle took seats next to Agatha.
"Work has been hell theses past few weeks since Cambrai," Doyle rubbed his head to ease his headache but did little to help. Agatha poured some tea for both men who happily drank it with a side of biscuits to snack on.
Agatha put down her tea cup and began the telling them the reason they were there, "Yes Doyle, as you both know. Englander is back from the dead. The problem we face is that the young man that has sworn his duty to the crown is being prevented from returning back home from some of the members in the commons and lords."
Doyle added in on the conversation, "Yes, the majority of the members in the commons seem to favor the return of Englander. However, the house of lord's majority is not in favor of letting the boy return back home. It sad to say but Englander won't be returning back home any time soon."
Blake didn't reveal any emotion, but his hands started to clench in anger. When he first learned about his friend back from the dead, he couldn't believe it. It was Henry that helped him in the dark days of the Great War, always the happiest person to talk to in the trenches.
Despite being the youngest of the group of friends. Henry always brightened everyone's day during the war which helped many of his fellow soldiers calm down as they waited in the trenches for the next attack.
"Is there any info on where he's staying at?" Blake asked.
"The last report we received from our informants stated that Henry was staying at U.A. high," Doyle said out loud as he read off the report he had in his hand. Agatha nodded then smiled feeling content that prestigious hero school in Japan were taking care of Henry.
"Agatha? If I may? Didn't you know principal Nezu since you were a teen?" Blake questioned. Agatha couldn't help but grin at the happy memories of her friend.
"Yes, he was my teacher when I was a teenager here in the palace. Taught me history, math, and everything that shaped me into the woman I am today," Agatha stated.
"Well, it looks like your old teacher is doing a great amount of help by taking care of Henry. Knowing him, he's probably angered by the fact that he's being denied the right to go home," Blake took a sip of tea with a clear expression of distaste for some of men in the House of Lords.
"As long as Henry is safe and in UA's care then I will be content with the situation that young man is in," Agatha didn't feel at ease but was glad that Henry had a place to stay.
Doyle felt his phone ringing and looked at it to see an important message left by his wife. His face turned white because he had completely forgot about today, "I'm sorry you two. I just remembered that my son is performing in his marching band at his school! Oh man my wife is gonna kill me."
Blake and Agatha laughed making Doyle look at the two with a frown but was not angered by the two, "I'll talk to you guys later this week. Cheerio!"
Prime Minister Doyle exited the door with the help of the Royal guardsman opening the way for him. Blake and Agatha were left alone and soon the atmosphere changed.
"Any reports on him yet?"
"No, the trails gone cold. He's hiding but he'll be ready soon, I know he will," Blake told his friend with a clear cold sweat on the back of his neck.
"Especially since Henry is alive. He'll want to even the score," The older man continued.
Agatha noticed the discomfort in her friend's eyes, "It's been many years since you last saw that man?"
"Yes. Even till this day I can't stop remembering what happened in those mountains."
"Do you think Henry will be ready for him?"
Blake looked straight at Agatha's eyes with determination in them, "He will be. If he defeated him and his abominations back in 1917 at Passchendaele. He can do it again."
Agatha felt hope returning back to her but couldn't shake the dread in her mind, "I hope your right Blake. But remember, you still have to protect the Midoriyas from that monster."
"I won't be alone doing it. I have a team stationed in Japan under my authority that are keeping the Midoriyas protected," Blake stated.
Agatha and Blake sat there silently until a Guardsman walked in, "Pardon my Intrusion my Queen but the press conference is ready for you."
"Ah yes! Let's not let our guests wait," Queen Agatha got off her seat and made her way with the Guardsman with her clothing all nice. Before she left, she turned to Blake who was looking at her.
"I know you won't fail her."
With the Queen gone, Blake walked up to the window to look up at the blue sky. The fear he had was washed away and replaced with hope.
"Ayaka, I won't let your husband or your descendants be harmed."

My fellow Readers….
This road has been long and hard for me. I now have a job and have school going on. I know many of you are angry at me or surprised that I am still alive.
But fear not! I have not abandoned this story like many author fanfic writers. In recent weeks my hours at my work are now letting me have a little freer time to myself which means history essay writing and fanfic writing!
No, but seriously, I'm sorry it took me so long to write this story. Had to brain storm some ideas for the future of this story. The good thing is I don have a good amount of planning on how I'm gonna write this story so I won't have to be in a writer block every chapter I write.
I love this story and I can't simply stop writing it. However, if some of you are fanfic writers like me. What makes motivated to keep writing your story?
Just to let you know I not much of an historian on politics but I am learning something new everyday about the UK government. I was more of a war history type of person.
Like always, Read and Review is always helpful to me because it helps me as a writer. Though I have gotten a person that called my other story straight up ass but didn't pay any attention to it.
