I don't own KHR.

Tsuna softly groaned as he opened his eyes to a warm-yellow ceiling. Still half-asleep, Tsuna closed his eyes and tried to go back to being fully asleep.

Wait...he doesn't know that ceiling.

Truly alert now, Tsuna's brown eyes instantly opened and widened to the size of bug eyes as he bolted upright in bed. However, before he could fully take his surroundings in, there was a soft mumble beside him. Tsuna looked down on his right and what he saw made him smile and his heart very light.

The one who made the sound was Hayato. Hayato, whose hands were currently twitching as they moved slowly around the space that Tsuna just vacated. Hayato, who was wearing a small, soft smile on his face.

Hayato who was still alive.

His slightly older brother mumbled once more as he creaked opened his eyes. When his green eyes landed on the empty spot on the bed, they shot wide open as he rapidly turned his head. Hayato didn't have to search very far at all before he saw Tsuna silently looking down at him.

"Hayato...we found you!" Tsuna finally exclaimed with a wide smile as he quickly leaned over and wrapped his arms tightly around his brother.

He was finally with his brother again!

"Tsuna!" Hayato cried happily as he hugged Tsuna right back and tugged him so that Tsuna was partly lying on top of him instead of sitting on the bed. "You're really are okay!"

"What do you mean-"

"Tsuna!" Tsuna turned his head just in time to see Chrome make a small leap towards him.

"Chrome!" Tsuna exclaimed joyfully right as Chrome landed on top of him. Tsuna managed to quickly squeezed out an arm out from under Hayato and wrapped it around Chrome.

He finally got his sister back!

"Hayato?" Tsuna turned his head over to see Takeshi sitting next to Hayato, his brown eyes watering as he stared at them. His wavering hands then slowly reached out to them. "Chrome? Tsuna?"

"Takeshi!" Chrome cried as she reached a hand over to their older brother. "You're okay too!"

"I'm okay? I'm okay?! You guys were the ones who went missing!" Takeshi protested as he leapt forward and joined in on the hug pile. "I...I thought that you guys were dead at first! I...I thought it was Pops all over again..."

Takeshi...

"I'm sorry," Hayato apologized, his voice full of tender emotion. "I...I didn't mean for you to feel that way. Or any of you for that matter."

"I know," replied Takeshi with a sniff as he hugged them all as tightly as he could. "Just...really try not to do that ever again...okay? That goes for you too Tsuna."

"Oh trust me, I don't wanna to go through that again," Hayato assured him.

"Me neither!" Chrome added.

"I'll be really careful Takeshi!" Tsuna promised. "But you have to promise that you'll try to really careful too!"

"I promise!" Takeshi agreed with a laugh that after everything that had happened, sounded very beautiful to Tsuna's ears.

"Extreme reunion!" Takeshi shifted just enough for Tsuna to clearly see Ryohei grinning from ear to ear while Kyoya was looking at them with a contented smile as he sat indian-style on the bed.

"Ryohei! Kyoya!" Tsuna cried. "You're here too!"

"Of course we are," Kyoya replied with a light chuckle. "And you all probably should get off of Hayato now."

"Why-oh!" Chrome cried in realization as she quickly got off of Tsuna.

"Oh shoot!" Tsuna exclaimed as he stopped hugging his injured brother and moved till he was sitting on his knees by Hayato again. "I'm so sorry Hayato! I didn't think about how your chest is probably super tender right now!"

"Me too," Takeshi sheepishly admitted with a light chuckle as he scratched the back of his head while he sat on Hayato's other side.

"It's okay, I'm alright," Hayato accepted with a real smile and a light blush on his cheeks as he sat up, which relieved Tsuna. "Thanks for worrying about me though Tsuna!"

"No problem."

"Hey, wait, where's Lambo?!" Takeshi exclaimed, sounding worried. Before Tsuna could react to that, there was a reply.

"Take!" Tsuna turned his head around to see Lambo leaving Mukuro's lap and crawling straight for them, a big wide smile on his face. "Tsu! Haya! Ome!"

"Oh, I see how it is Lambo," Mukuro said with no real heat in his voice as he smirked. "You love them more than you love me. Good to know."

Lambo just laughed as he crawled up onto Tsuna's lap, his green eyes twinkling with innocent joy. Tsuna smiled as he situated his baby brother so that Lambo's back was comfortably leaning against Tsuna's stomach and he was facing the others.

"Lambo...thank goodness, you're okay too," Takeshi said as he rubbed his hand through Lambo's curls with a smile.

"Wait, why wouldn't Lambo be okay?" Tsuna asked while Lambo giggled as he grabbed Takeshi's hand with both little hands. Then Tsuna truly took in his surroundings. "And while we at it...where are we anyway? And are we on two beds mushed together?"

"Yeah, they thought it would be a good idea to put us in separate rooms," Mukuro told him with a scoff as he scooted closer to them. "But we managed to convince them otherwise."

"They? Wait...are we in the Vongola mansion?!" Tsuna exclaimed as alarm started to replace his previous joy.

"So...we all got caught?" Takeshi asked.

Kyoya let out a sigh before he gave a reply.

"How much do you guys remember of last night?" Tsuna furrowed his brow as Ryohei crawled over till he had Takeshi in an one-armed hug. Lambo meanwhile had brought Takeshi's hand off of his curls and to his mouth, where he then began sucking on Takeshi's knuckle.

"Um...you guys left to save Hayato and Chrome," Tsuna muttered as he scanned over his recent memories. Then like a lightning bolt, he remembered.

Everything.

"Uh...Takeshi...did I really light myself on fire?" Tsuna squeaked out.

"Yeah, it was awesome! Sure, you just about scared me when you fainted afterwards, but it was still cool seeing you fly and kick Reborn's arm like that!"

"Wait, you flew?!" Hayato exclaimed, his voice and eyes full of wonder and excitement. "How fast did you think you were going?! And what were the color of your flames?!"

"Extremely hang on buddy," Ryohei intercepted him by putting a hand on Hayato's silver-haired head. "We probably should explain what those flames were and what exactly is going on before you go extreme fanboy on Tsuna."

"Wait...you guys know why my hands were covered in orange flames?" Tsuna asked, feeling both bewildered and a bit freaked out.

He was on fire! And he fought off Reborn! How?!

"Yeah, we do," Kyoya confirmed as he moved closer to them as well.

And with that, Kyoya, along with a few tidbits from Mukuro, Hayato, and Chrome, told Tsuna and Takeshi everything. From how Tsuna's orange flames were called dying will flames to how Chrome had apparently misunderstood Giotto's true intentions for Hayato, Tsuna and Takeshi were quiet throughout it all.

Tsuna listened attentively as Kyoya explained that they had accepted Giotto's offer to stay with the Vongola, with the intention to leave once everyone in their family had recovered. It was only when Kyoya had finished talked that Tsuna spoke up.

"So...do you guys really think that Vongola is telling the truth? That they really are more like vigilante group than a mafia family?"

"I don't," Mukuro stated strongly. "They are probably just playing the long game but that's okay. We can play the long game too."

"And we will play it extremely well!" Ryohei cheered. "If the Vongola really are bad guys that is."

"They are," Mukuro insisted.

"Well, I hope they aren't," Chrome admitted. "It'll be great if they really were that nice."

"Perhaps, but we still have to prepare for the possibility that they are lying," Kyoya told her. "And besides, even if they are telling the truth, we most likely wouldn't stay here anyway."

"You got that right," Mukuro muttered with his arms crossed. "It doesn't matter if they were truly sorry or not, I'm not gonna forgive them for hurting Ryohei and forcing Takeshi to go to sleep."

"I'm not that extremely hurt," Ryohei protested as he waved a bandaged hand. "I am extremely better now!"

"And as for me...I get why Asari put me to sleep," Takeshi voiced.

"No, Takeshi don't-"

"No really, I do," Takeshi interrupted Mukuro. "Looking back now, I know now that when they caught up with us they tried to tell me that they were trying to help us. They also tried to get me to calm down so I could breathe but...I wouldn't...I couldn't."

"Takeshi," Tsuna said very softly as he reached over and grasped Takeshi's left wrist. "Me fainting on you two really didn't help matters did it? I'm sorry."

"It's okay," Takeshi said after he slightly lifted his left hand and grabbed Tsuna's wrist. "I know you didn't mean to. And besides, from the sound of it, I scared the others too when Giotto, Asari, and Reborn brought us to them."

"Don't worry, I don't blame you guys at all," Mukuro assured him as Kyoya petted Takeshi's head.

"Tsuna, what do you think?" Hayato asked suddenly. "Is your intuition telling you anything right now?"

Everyone's attention immediately switched on to Tsuna. Even little Lambo looked up at him, Takeshi's knuckle still in his mouth. No one said anything as Tsuna searched deep inside him.

"I...my intuition isn't really telling me anything," Tsuna finally said after what felt like minutes. "But I don't feel like we're in danger either. So...we're probably okay...for now at least anyway."

Hayato let out a sigh of relief before smiling slightly. Then Tsuna felt a hand on his head.

"Alright," Mukuro responded as his thumb rubbed a circle in Tsuna's unruly hair. "But keep a close ear on your intuition okay? Tell us if anything changes, like if the Vongola are about to go back on their word or something."

"Okay," Tsuna promised, getting the feeling that even if the Vongola really were the good guys, it was going take Mukuro a long time to be able to trust them.

Not that he blamed him.

Then suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Before Tsuna could react, the door opened.

"Hello? I heard voices, may I come in?" a beautiful blonde lady asked as she poked her head around the door.

"Yes!" Chrome accepted happily much to Mukuro's chagrin.

"Oh, so that's what you sound like!" she exclaimed happily with a clap of her hands as she walked into the room. "I'm so happy that you are talking to us! And your voice is so cute too."

Chrome blushed as she turned her head to the side.

"Now, good morning everyone! For those of you who don't know who I am, my name is Elena and I am a member of the Vongola famiglia as well."

"Hi, I'm Takeshi," Takeshi introduced himself goodnaturally as he let go of Tsuna's wrist and waved to her.

"I figured that you were," Elena said with a kind, knowing smile. "In any case, I am happy to meet you, all of you!"

Lambo finally took Takeshi's knuckle out of his mouth to let out a happy gurgle as he turned his attention to Elena.

"Aw, you must be Lambo," Elena pointed out as he bent over and placed her hands on her knees, resulting in her head being on the same level with Lambo's. "Aren't you just precious."

Lambo giggled as he crawled out of Tsuna's lap and started heading towards Elena. However, Lambo didn't get very far before Mukuro quickly grabbed him and pulled him to his chest.

"No buddy," Mukuro whispered while Lambo gave a small whine of protest. "You can't trust her okay? She's not safe."

"And you must be Mukuro," Elena said as Lambo sucked on his thumb while laying his head on Mukuro's shoulder, apparently forgiving him. "Daemon was right, you certainly are protective. That's a good trait for an older brother."

While Mukuro didn't blush, he did look taken aback for a few seconds before he shifted Lambo slightly in his arms.

"Is there a reason why you're here?" Kyoya asked, his tone polite though Tsuna could tell that he probably wasn't happy with her crowding.

"Well Kyoya, I came here so I could meet you all, since no one thought to wake me up last night, seriously, the nerve," Elena scoffed as she straightened back up. "But I'm also here to tell you that breakfast is ready, if you should want it. Which I recommend, because I made cinnamon rolls this morning and I am proud to say that they are a pretty good batch."

Cinnamon rolls? That...sounds delicious...

"There's cinnamon rolls?!" Tsuna jumped slightly when a green-haired man poked his head around the doorway.

"There's none for you!" Elena declared as she instantly turned around to face the man, her tone not friendly at all.

"But...But Elena..." the man protested, his previous excited face replaced with an expression that was pure disappointment.

"No buts Lampo! Think of this as your punishment for electrocuting Ryohei like that!" Elena scolded him before suddenly turning around. "By the way sweetie, how's your hand?"

"Uh...fine?" Ryohei replied, sounding a bit bewildered.

"That's a relief," Elena said with a real smile.

"But...I'm already getting punished with more training," Lampo whined.

"That's Reborn's punishment. This is mine," Elena stated as she turned back around to face him. Now shoo!"

Lampo just whimpered as he walked passed the doorway. Then Elena once again turned around to face them, a full smile back on her face.

"Now, there's a bathroom right next door to your left," she told them as she waved a hand in that direction. "And when you are all done, just come to the other end of the hallway where I will be waiting and I will then take you guys to the dining hall. Okay?"

"O-okay," Tsuna agreed, who felt like he had to say something. To his surprise, Elena just cooed.

"Aw, there's nothing to be nervous about alright honey? All of us in the Vongola famiglia, even Lampo, just want to help you and make sure you all feel safe. I am really sorry that we gave you kids the wrong impression last night."

And...Tsuna found himself believing her.

"Well, I'm going to leave now but remember, I am going to be just down the hall. So if you need anything, don't be afraid to ask me. I am more than willing to help."

And with that, Elena left the room, leaving the door open as she did so. After a few seconds had passed in silence, Tsuna opened his mouth to tell his family that he believed that Elena was telling the truth when Takeshi suddenly laughed.

"Guys, Lambo's doppelganger is Lampo! Get it, Lampo, Lambo?"

As this piece of realization sank in, Kyoya crawled over to Mukuro and grabbed Lambo from him.

"Lambo, I swear on all my strength and carnivorous fighting skill," Kyoya swore as he looked his baby brother dead in the eye. "That you will turn out nothing like that cowardly herbivore."

Lambo just giggled as he booped Kyoya's nose with his little hand.

Everyone is finally awake and aware of the situation and all the kids have met Elena. Impressions were made but the story isn't done yet.

So, what did you guys think? Was the chapter flow nicely, were any of the character's actions unbelievable? Oh, and what do you guys think of a chapter from Lambo's POV? I haven't done him because well, he's a baby, but I am thinking about trying it out, especially if you guys want me to.

In any case, please tell me your thoughts in a review and I will update later this month. Until then, have a good day/night! See ya!
