Guest: Aw...your review really touched me. Thank you!

I don't own KHR.

Well...this is awkward.

They were all having breakfast on a very long table (which helped cement the fact that the Vongola famiglia were rich into Tsuna's brain), with a lot of very delicious-looking food sitting on the center of it. And it was very delicious, more delicious than anything Tsuna had eaten in a long time.

However, Tsuna's delightment was unfortunately overshadowed by the tense and awkward atmosphere. When they had first entered the dining room and found the adult men sitting on one end of the table, Kyoya and Mukuro wasted no time in ushering them to sit as far away from them as possible, which happened to be the other end of the table.

Tsuna was kind of afraid that the adults were going to object but thankfully they didn't say a word. In fact, Tsuna got the feeling that they were actually expecting it. But minutes have passed since then and other than the cordial 'good morning,' 'how did you sleep,' and 'fine,' they haven't really spoken to each other.

Tsuna looked at his siblings and noticed that Kyoya and Mukuro practically refused to look at the other end of the table while the others had varying expressions of uneasiness. Tsuna looked at the adults and saw that most of them looked more or less awkward as well. The only ones who weren't affected by the atmosphere were Reborn, Kyoya's doppelganger (who both looked like they didn't care), Lampo (who just looked grumpy), and Lambo (who was too young to care).

It was getting to the point where Tsuna was wondering if he should say something. But should he? He still wasn't sure if the Vongola should be trusted or not after all, maybe it would be better if they just kept to themselves. And even if the Vongola could be trusted, what should he say?

"So...what's you guys' favorite color?" Surprised at the random question, Tsuna turned his head and saw his doppelganger (what was his name...oh yeah Giotto) looking at him and his siblings with a kind yet slightly nervous smile.

"Uh...orange?" Tsuna answered meekly.

"Ah, that's mine too!" Giotto replied from the head of the table, seeming a little less nervous now while Daemon reached his hand over the table with an expectant glitter in his eyes and a smirk.

"I...I like purple myself," Chrome chimed in as Kyoya's doppelganger (...that's right, it was Alaude!) reluctantly dropped some bills into Daemon's outstretched hand.

"Oh, I do too!" Elena exclaimed with a clap of her hands as Daemon pocketed the money beside her.

"I'm...partial to red myself," Hayato admitted softly as he quickly stuffed some scrambled eggs into his mouth.

"I'm not surprised," the man who just had to be Asari with a knowing grin directed at G, who happened to be sitting beside him.

"Blue's my favorite color," Takeshi told everyone as G gripped his fork so hard that his knuckles became even whiter while giving Asari something akin to a death glare.

"Ah, mine too," Asari said cheerfully, either oblivious to G's glare or he just didn't care. "It's the color of the ocean, one of my favorite things in this beautiful world."

Then Asari chuckled as he lightly fingered one of the sleeves on his blue-and-white robe.

"Blue is also on my favorite robe!"

A robe which was clearly Japanese, just like Asari and the hat he was also wearing. Tsuna wondered where exactly in Japan Asari was from.

"Extreme," Ryohei replied with a nod as Lambo grabbed a small piece of the very yummy cinnamon roll from his open hand. "As for me...I'm not sure. I like yellow, because it's extremely bright, but I also like white, which is just extremely calm. I also like red though, because it was the color of my favorite boxing gloves back home in Japan."

"Why not have all of them be your favorite color?" Reborn as Lampo tried to carefully sneak a cinnamon roll off the big platter the pastries were on. "I'm pretty sure there isn't a rule saying that you can only have one favorite."

"You're extremely right!" Ryohei exclaimed triumphantly as G threw a spoon at Lampo from across the table, which consequently hit him square in the forehead. "Yellow, white, and red will share the number one spot on my favorite colors list from now on!"

"That's great," Knuckle said as Lampo rubbed his red spot, a pained expression on his face.

"Wha-"

"So you used to do boxing Ryohei?" Knuckle continued as he placed a firm hand on Lampo's shoulder, effectively stopping his exclaimation and ascent from his chair.

"I still do actually," Ryohei answered proudly as Lampo glared at Knuckle's immovable hand before slouching back into his chair while muttering under his breath. "Sure, I'm not in tournaments anymore, but I still practice my techniques!"

That was definitely true, Tsuna lost count of how many times he had seen Ryohei praticing his boxing moves outside (both at the orphanage and at the cave), regardless of the weather. There was even one time where Kyoya had to drag him back inside the cave because Ryohei was insistent on finishing his extreme training during a full-fledged thunderstorm.

And while Ryohei seemed perfectly happy (which he most likely was), Tsuna felt bad that his older brother wasn't able to perform in boxing tournaments anymore. While Tsuna did know that it wasn't his or any of his siblings' fault why that was, he also knew that Ryohei missed those tournaments.

Tsuna could only hope that Ryohei would one day have a chance to be in a boxing ring again.

"Hey, do you do any boxing? Or any of you guys?" Ryohei questioned hopefully. "If so, we should box together!"

Knuckle's face instantly blanched and before Tsuna could even consider asking him if he was okay, there was a scratching sound of a chair being shoved back on the wooden floor.

"I'm done," Mukuro stated firmly, his expression practically stone-cold as he gripped the edge of the wooden table harshly. He then set his heterochromatic eyes on Tsuna and the rest of them. "What about you guys?"

"I'm finished," Kyoya said before politely wiping his mouth with a napkin.

"Uh...yes!" Hayato exclaimed as he stuffed the last piece of sausage in his plate.

"There's no rush, you kids can take your time," Giotto tried to assure them as Tsuna, Ryohei, and Chrome started to eat as quickly as they could.

Because while Kyoya was the unofficial leader of their family, there was no arguing with Mukuro, the unofficial second-in-command, when he had that look in his eyes.

Especially when Kyoya hadn't told Mukuro off for attempting to order him around.

"I'm extremely done!" Ryohei exclaimed as he dropped his fork on his empty plate with a clatter, making Lambo laugh.

"Me too," Chrome chimed in as she swallowed the last of her orange juice. "T-Thanks for the meal!"

"Oh you're welcome sweetheart!" Elena replied earnestly as Tsuna continued to wolf his food down. The pressure was on as one by one his siblings stood up but no matter how fast Tsuna ate, there was still food in his plate. In the end, he had to discreetly place what remained of the sausages and the cinnamon roll on his napkin with the intention to eat them later.

He just hoped that the Vongola didn't notice.

"We're going back to our room," Kyoya stated, his gray eyes glaring at the adults as if daring them to object.

"Alright, that's fine," Giotto granted though Alaude did raised his eyebrow. "Though you should know that Knuckle wants to look at Ryohei and Hayato again soon. And Elena definitely wants to take you all clothes shopping sometime today."

"That is true," Elena confirmed with a nod as Mukuro grabbed Chrome's hand. "Though depending on what Knuckle says, I just may push it to tomorrow."

She...wants to take them all shopping for new clothes? That's-

"Fine," Mukuro replied curtly as he walked over and grabbed Tsuna's free hand while Hayato got onto Kyoya's back.

"Oh, and Tsuna, please give the napkin back to Elena once you're done with it okay?" Giotto requested with a small amused smile.

"Oh...okay," Tsuna said as he felt his cheeks burn as Mukuro began to tug him and Chrome out of the room. "S-See you later!"

"See you later," Giotto replied as Chrome waved at them with her free hand, causing Daemon to wave back with a pleased smile. A second later they had all left the room, with Mukuro and Kyoya still looking far from pleased.

As they walked down the halls, Tsuna had the thought that the meal could have gone better. But at the same time, it could have gone worse.

Way worse.

So coupled with the fact that Tsuna's intuition still hadn't alerted him to any lies, deception, or danger, Tsuna felt...okay about this whole situation.

He could definitely live with that.

Yep, this is a short chapter but hopefully it made some of you laugh. As well as give you a little taste of what's to come.

So, how did this chapter affect you as a whole? Please leave me your thoughts in a review and I will update at the end of the month/beginning of next month. Till then, see ya and have a good day/night!
