MIKAN: Thanks for the review! Also, how is your spanish translation of this story coming along?

I don't own KHR.

The first thing that Tsuna was aware of when he woke up was that he was lying face down on the floor right underneath a rack. At first he was confused as to how he ended up on the floor, and it didn't help that his head hurt so much that he felt like he was going to throw up.

It was like someone hit him in back of the head with a...gun!

Tsuna's eyes widened as he remembered everything from Martina and her henchmen showing up to him being torn away from Hayato. Tsuna's heart began to beat rapidly as he clenched his fist while he stared at the silver bars of clothing rack he was currently under.

Hayato's in danger! He has to save him!

Tsuna, despite his aching head, began to push himself up.

Don't move.

Tsuna, who had only moved his arms an inch at the absolute most, immediately stopped.

What? Why...why was his intuition telling him not to move?! Hayato's gonna die, and they just got him and Chrome back! He has to tell the others, he has to save him...

Then suddenly, there was an unfamiliar grunt behind Tsuna that sounded close, too close. The next second, Tsuna saw something move on the silver leg of the clothing rack and realized that it was a reflection of someone's leg.

Oh...that was why his intuition warned him to not move.

One of the mafioso was still here with him.

Tsuna would have groaned in frustation if hadn't been for the dire situation and his headache. Because of course Martina had left one of her henchmen behind to make sure he didn't get help! No...they would have killed him if that was the case. Then the reason Tsuna was being guarded is because...he is the hostage. They must have told Hayato that they would kill him if he didn't cooperate with them.

While careful not to make a sound, Tsuna couldn't help but to grit his teeth in fear, helplessness, and anger. He desperately wanted to move but his intuition was right, he couldn't unless he wanted to get beaten up again, or worse, killed. If it wasn't for his headache and the ringing in his ears, Tsuna would have just gone for it and hoped that he would be able to survive.

However, Tsuna did have a strong feeling that even if he was in top condition, he wasn't strong enough to beat the mafioso one on one. But on the other hand, Tsuna couldn't stay here forever. Hayato was gonna die, and he wasn't gonna fight back because of him, so Tsuna had to do something.

But what though? What was he supposed to do?

Wait...he may not be strong enough now, but...but what if he went into that strange mode when he faced off with Reborn? Granted, he knew that Reborn had been just testing him, that he had been essentially playing with him, but that didn't mean he couldn't beat this guy. He was stronger in...that dying will flame mode after all, not to mention he could fly.

It's possible...right?

Determined to go into that special mode, determined to save his brother, Tsuna tried to produce his flames only to quickly realize that he couldn't remember how. His head pounding heavily as he forced himself to remember every detail of that night, Tsuna found that he couldn't recall that much. It kind of just happened, one moment he was terrified for Takeshi's life and the next he-

"Tsuna! You, what have you done?!"

That's...that's Mukuro's voice!

"For this unforgivable act, I will bite you to death!"

Kyoya!

Then, just as Tsuna felt sweet hope and relief consume him, he felt a hand grab the back of his shirt.

Pretend to be still unconscious.

Knowing that his intuition had never once lead him astray, Tsuna quickly closed his eyes and when the mafioso picked him up, he became as limp as possible.

Which was kind of harder than Tsuna thought it was going to be, because the mafioso picked him up so fast that Tsuna could literally feel the vomit rush up from his stomach and into his throat. Tsuna had to fight against his gag relfex in order to keep it in, which was not a pleasant feeling.

And it didn't help at all that there was suddenly something very cold and metallic pressing against the side of his head.

"Take one more step boys, and his brains will stain the carpet," Tsuna heard the mafioso threatened. Then there was the unmistakenable sound of a cock of a gun. "So stop acting childish and be quiet. I am not in the mood."

"Oh? Then what are you in the mood for? A trident through your throat? A mind broken for the rest of your miserable life? Because depending on what you say or do next, I just might do both."

Was that...Daemon?

"And I just might let him do that...and I cherish human life."

...Asari?

"Where's Hayato?!" cried someone that was definitely Chrome.

"That bastard child is finally facing his fate like a man," the mafioso answered her coldly. The man's words instantly sparked a match within Tsuna, and he had to fight to not let his face contort in anger.

Why does this man, Martina, and everyone else in Hayato's past famiglia believe that Hayato needs to die?! Hayato is loyal, protective, smart, and brave. Why can't they see that it's the other way around, that Hayato needs to live?!

Then the vomit threatened to fly out of Tsuna's mouth again so he had to concentrate on fighting that impulse.

But then he had an idea.

"Any minute now, if Lady Martina hasn't done it already, that poor excuse of human waste-"

With an unpleasant retch, Tsuna finally let the food that he had eaten that morning spill out of his mouth.

"Gah!" the man cried in surprise and digust as he stumbled backwards, his hold on Tsuna slipping a bit. At that moment, despite his headache, his ringing ears, the digusting taste on his tongue, and his literally sick stomach, Tsuna opened his eyes and once he saw what he was looking for, kicked with all his strength.

Right at his groin.

"Ugh," the man groaned in pain as he let go of Tsuna. Tsuna gritted his teeth as he prepared himself to land on the ground. However, he didn't fall very far at all before Asari raced forward and caught him gently with one arm.

"Agh!" the mafioso cried suddenly in pain. Tsuna looked back and to his surprise saw that the man that had held him captive now had a long bloody gash on his chest. Confused, Tsuna looked down and saw that Asari was holding a sword in his free hand.

And there was a bit of blood dripping from its silver blade.

He...he didn't even see Asari draw out his blade...

"You son of a-" the mafioso growled from his curled position on the ground as a wisp of flames the color of bright indigo suddenly appeared in mid-air right behind him. But the wisp of indigo flames quickly disappeared as a very pissed-off looking Elena holding a baton covered in yellow flames took its place. Then, without a word, Elena bent over and struck the mafioso upside the head with her weapon, making the mafioso truly crumple to the ground.

"Why don't you face your fate like a man and stay down," Elena almost snarled as the flames on her baton died out. "And also, don't curse around the children!"

"Is he unconscious my dear? Nevermind, it doesn't matter, I can just go straight into his mind to find out where they took Hayato," Daemon stated as he walked forward, trident in hand. "It'll be quicker."

Then he stopped and turned to look at Tsuna.

"Unless you know..."

"No," Tsuna quickly admitted regretfully, with tears of both guilt and pain in his eyes. "They knocked me out before they took him away and when I woke up, I was under the clothing rack and he was gone."

"It's okay Tsuna, it's not your fault," Asari assured him gently. "I'm sure Hayato will tell you the same thing when we find him."

He said this with such confidence that Tsuna actually felt a bit better, a bit more hopeful.

Then he felt a tug on his pant leg, making him look down.

"Tsuna," Takeshi said softly with an expression that was so tender that Tsuna's heart broke a little. And to make matters worse, Kyoya, Chrome, and Mukuro were right behind him with similar expressions.

He...he scared Takeshi again. He scared all of them again.

Then Kyoya raised his arms towards him, causing Tsuna to instinctively reach for him as he gently tried to get out of Asari's protective hold. Asari for his part didn't resist, in fact he bent over and carefully placed him in Kyoya's arms.

As soon as Asari did so, Kyoya wrapped his arms around him tightly, like he was afraid that Tsuna could disappear at any moment. Kyoya then backed up a bit before he slowly knelt on the ground. The very next second, Tsuna found himself in the middle of a group hug.

"You're...I know that this is probably a dumb question because of the...blood," Takeshi began, his voice quivering over the word that last word. "But..."

"I'm bleeding?" Tsuna asked as he tried to reach for the back of his head only for Chrome to grab his hand.

"Don't touch it," Chrome chided not unkindly as she put his hand back on Kyoya's back.

"In any case...are you alright?" Takeshi continued patiently.

"Yeah though..." Tsuna answered, a bit hesitant about how his siblings would react to this next part. "I think I have a concussion."

"You think?" Mukuro replied with a very dry, if a bit hysterical chuckle as he very gently and carefully went his hand through Tsuna's hair, probably wanting a better look at Tsuna's wound. "You threw up buddy."

"Though it was at a very opportune time, good job," Kyoya praised softly. "But I, we, need you to stay awake for now, even if you are really tired. Alright?"

"No problem," Tsuna agreed even though he was actually feeling the urge to close his eyes and rest. "I...I don't want to sleep until we get Hayato back."

"And we will get him back," Mukuro swore as he began to leave the hug. "In fact, now that I know you're gonna be alright, I'm-"

"Oh slow your horses honey," Elena cut as she suddenly swooped in and place a hand on Mukuro's shoulder. "You and Kyoya might have been able to run away from Daemon earlier but not this time! And besides you, I mean we, don't know where Martina took him."

"I...I know but they couldn't have gotten that far!" Mukuro protested.

"Not to mention, Ryohei and Lambo are still somewhere in the store," Kyoya added, a bit of his concern and worry leaking out with his words.

"Don't worry, Knuckle found them and Asari left to see if he could find any sign of Martina and Hayato," Elena assured him. With half-lidded eyes, Tsuna turned his head a bit and saw that Asari was indeed gone. "So...it's going to be okay because we will find him before it's too late. And when we do, we will make sure Martina will never be able to kidnap him again. We just have to wai-"

"Got it!" Daemon cried triumphantly as he lifted his indigo flame-covered hand from the unconscious mafioso. Then he stood up quickly and looked towards them as he placed a hand against his ear, which Tsuna saw had an earpiece in it.

"They took him to the alleyway out the back!"

So Tsuna is safe now now we just have to worry about Hayato. Who is in worse danger. Oh boy.

So I looked at the poll about Elena's flames and since mist flames had the most votes, Elena has mist flames as her primary! And since sun was in second place (as well as for fun), Elena also has sun flames as a decently powerful secondary. And if anyone is wondering why Kyoya, Chrome, Takeshi, and Mukuro were so shooken up (which may be none of you), it's because:

1) It was only about two days ago when Giotto came walking in with an unconscious Tsuna

2) The blood may or may not have been a small trigger, especially for the boys (in other words, trauma sucks).

In any case, how did you guys like the chapter? Please leave your thoughts in a review and I will update at the end of the month.

Till then, see ya and have a good day/night!
